Reviews

However, some guests have complained about the noise from outside, the lack of self-parking, and the extra fees for valet parking and other amenities.

The staff was very helpful, the first room we had there was issues. The bed had a sink hole, the toilet was not functioning and the sink had no water pressure. So, we went to breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and decided to see what we could do about changing rooms. The room they were gonna move us too was way smaller, due to a “different layout”. After not being completely satisfied, I went and asked them again if there was a different room to upgrade to, even if I needed to pay more. This time they knocked it out of the park. The rest of our stay was fabulous and would, go back to stay again if the opportunity arises. Thanks Warwick for hiring such a fantastic staff.

Staff was very helpful. Pool and pool bar was very nice. Not nearly enough lounge chairs for the number of hotel guests. Several places on the floor and other places showed wearing of stain on wood. Restaurant was very good but not exceptional.
- 5/5
The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming and answered all questions we had. The superstars of the property were each of the valet team. They were exceptional and really understand hospitality as opposed to service. The only weak spot was the poor guy working the pool on Saturday the 13th. He did excellent given what he was given. Super friendly and hardworking. MANY demanding guests at the pool that day. And he handled it all with patience and grace. However, the hotel management should have noticed that he was stretched thin and gotten him some help.

We stayed in the Corner Suite, and it exceeded our expectations. The suite was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered stunning views from every window. The manager was accommodating, attentive, and highly professional throughout our stay. We also appreciated the hotel's thoughtful layout and unique historical charm. One of our favorite details was the vintage USPS mailbox still attached to the wall near the elevators—a sweet and memorable piece of history. Overall, we had an exceptional experience and would gladly stay at the Warwick Hotel again. Highly recommended!

Beautiful property with a great pool, and it’s close to everything downtown.
- 5/5
Maddison at reception was outstanding and helped with everything from restaurant suggestions to additional services. I would rate this hotel 11 out of 10 if I could.
- 5/5
Staff was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to be helpful. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable - great bed and linens. A historic hotel that felt new and updated while remaining true to its glorious past.

Very clean hotel with a welcoming staff. Wonderful stay.

Great location! The water pressure in shower were very low. The toilet took forever to flush. Not off to a good start!
- 5/5
Exceptional staff and exceptional hotel throughout. Perfect location. On site restaurant was fabulous. Spa was amazing.

Now the odd parts... * Water pressure in my shower (8th floor) was barely above a dribble. * My room was never serviced * On checkout day, the staff knocked on the door at 9:30, and proceeded to 3 more times before 11. The third time they just let themselves in as I was coming out of the shower. A little bit awkward to to have house keeping unexpectedly in my room while emerging nude from the shower an hour before checkout time. She was very apologetic at least. Not likely to stay here again.
- 5/5
A classic Dallas hotel, the rooms are large and the beds very comfortable. The prime rib beef in The Landmark is excellent - a must try!

The room had a unique layout that made me feel "well at home". I wish I could have stayed longer.

My daughter and her husband stayed here the night of their wedding and said the hotel was beautiful, the staff was so kind to them and even upgraded their room.

This was about my 15th time staying at the Warwick Melrose - and it was by far the worst. Mini Bar fridge didn’t work, never even offered to move our room, I’m a diabetic and had to leave my insulin in the fridge at the front desk - the pool bar bartender refused to make mixed drinks , room service never answered their phone - 4 time attempted and no one would answer - the 4th floor we stayed on has room service trays left out during the entire stay, pool area was a disgrace - dirty food trays all over and trash overflowing - valet was not staffed properly during Sunday checkout.

I’ve stayed here three times in the last year and have been disappointed all three times but kept trying to give them the benefit of the doubt bc I used to love staying here in years past. The bar area is beautiful and the hotel grounds are lovely. Unfortunately their staff is a tragedy. I won’t bore you with specifics but each visit has been progressively disappointing but this past visit was an unmitigated disaster from check in. The valet was the only friendly or smiling individual we encountered. I asked to speak with the GM so he could address my concerns and he has yet to call me back. I would hesitate to book if you are expecting anything better than 1 star service.

Very comfortable beds and the corner king rooms are very large and nice No free internet and signing up for membership got a 404 error 6x so couldn’t do it. So had to use phone personal hotspot whole time for internet/wifi. Very irritating Wi-Fi should be accessible and free. No self park - only valet for $45

I have stayed at the Melrose many times, but I hadn’t stayed since the Warwick took it over. I must say I love the Melrose before, but I absolutely love the Warwick Melrose the updates, the spa area and the pool that they did have really improved a very fine property and made it excellent. I love this place. I also think especially using Expedia or the journeys app. It’s still a bargain for a suite less than $300 for most times a night for a deluxe suite which is 800 ft.² an apartment that I could’ve stayed in for weeks love this place will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Great stay. Will return.
- 5/5
This is the best place to go with your significant other to stay and have a blast here I would recommend everyone and I recommend all my clients to stay here as it’s one of the best places in Dallas, Texas
- 5/5
My stay at The Warwick Melrose could not have been better. The staff was friendly and efficient. My room was large and well-appointed. I had breakfast delivered from room service. The food arrived early, it was hot, and my order was perfect. I have stayed here three times in the last year. The experience was the same every time.

The hotel was beautiful and a special fairly tale treat for my sister's 70th birthday.

Parking had to be paid for and was pricey. GPS takes you to one entrance but you have to actually drive around the block to get to the parking lot. Was decent enough, inside staff was amazing.

- 5/5
The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and bright with great lighting and the hotel is in my favorite part of Dallas. There are great restaurants in the neighborhood and you can simply head north on Oak Lawn, which turns into Preston Road and head north to Highland Park and then further north and bit east to Northpark Center with Eately and much more and the great upscale outlet shops just south of Northpark.

Beautiful hotel, staff were amazing, very helpful, room spotless! Great bar, would stay again.
- 4/5
Clean spacious room but toilet in 402 is slammed against a wall and another wall comes to a corner right where your knee would hit leaving you in an uncomfortable position. Makes one wonder how many other rooms have this awkward layout. Didn’t get to hang at the Library but it was full on a Saturday night. Also, beware of the extra fees that can add up to around $150 for parking, resort, and other.
- 5/5
My business partner and I stay at this hotel 70+ days a year while we are visiting our Dallas office. The Warwick always takes great care of us and we hate to stay anywhere else. I love the rooms, the food, the pool, the service, the location. Always a 10 out of 10.
- 5/5
From the pool, to the Room, to the Spa, and do not forget the fabulous meal at the prime rib restaurant. Completely exceeded our expectations.
- 5/5
Always stay here when in Dallas. Wonderful old-school decor, great amenities and people, without the “chill” one gets in modern properties.
- 2/5
Watch your charges on your card. They charged for mini bar when we never touched it.
- 5/5
NO complaints I love this hotel
- 5/5
Location was exactly where we wanted to be. Went with a group of girls, and they were very accommodating and put us all on the same floor when we asked. Property is beautiful.
- 3/5
Staff was lovely and the bar area is lively; but the gas was out, which meant no hot food and no hot water. I was upgraded to a suite, which while appreciated, was very dated. There were two areas in the suite where heating equipment and ductwork were housed in casing that was exposed - you could literally see and touch the equipment and insulation, etc. I’ve never seen anything quite like it, especially in a hotel.
- 5/5
What a wonderful stay!! GREAT neighborhood with amazing food on every corner. The spa was glorious and I had a wonderful massage. The gym is clean and has all the essentials. Will definitely come back next time I am in Dallas!
- 4/5
Fees were over the top, but the luxury charm was on spot.
- 5/5
Nice space and helpful staff. Outdated lighting - no central lights control next to the bed like in most modern hotels. Also the shower has only fixed shower head, no extension. Those are my only 2 minor objections.
- 5/5
I've stayed here many times. Always a good experience! Wonderful bar.
- 5/5
Comfortable rooms and great amenities.
- 5/5
Historical looking. Beautiful architecture

I have stare at this location multiple times, and it is always beautiful, and always a delight. I felt this time the two ladies at the reception desk made me feel like they didn’t want me to be there. However, the gentleman at check out more than made up for it. He was fantastic!
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Library lounge is a great time!
- 5/5
Best place to stay in midtown Dallas. Walkable, well located and lots of great resturants in the area. (a short walk to Turtle Creek and The Katy Trail).
- 5/5
It’s always a great experience staying at the Melrose.
- 5/5
So much charm. Great location.
- 1/5
The property and the staff were fine. However, I requested three different times to have our mini bar refilled. Each time someone apologised and said it would be taken care of, it never was. I jnow it is a small detail, but when you want a drink in your room, you should be able to make one.

Enjoyed the Warwick! Wonderful room, lively bar, excellent service.. will return!

Suite was very large and well appointed. Biggest issue was lack of hot water….five days of lukewarm showers. But hotel is beautiful.

Clean, well appointed room. Friendly, helpful staff. Only complaints are charge for WiFi and such loud music in the bar that it was even impossible to sit in the lobby for a drink and have a conversation.

Clean room, comfy bed

Extremely nice front desk personnel
- 3/5
The hotel is beautiful and the room is large and clean. But there was so much thumping and the sound of chairs being dragged etc, from early in the morning in the room above ours that we got very little sleep. Several times it was so bad that we thought someone was knocking loudly on our door, and it scared us awake. I told the front desk when we left but they didnt seem overly concerned with making it right.
- 5/5
Date Night in Dallas always includes a stay at the Warwick. The hotel, staff and food are consistently above and beyond.
- 5/5
We went into Dallas for the night and back home and it was perfect for what we wanted.

Yes,I was there for a wedding not business
- 3/5
Staff is helpful although the stay was not ideal. The shower leaked lots of water to the floor every time a shower is taken creating a pool. Flag pole right on top of room - when windy, sounds like there is construction going on all day all night - finally was offered a different room the last night since the noice is unbearable. - M.R.
- 5/5
Always a fabulous stay at the Warwick, never disappoints.
- 5/5
I found this location close to Turtle Creek which is lovely. For some rooms bring a pillow. The rooms are pretty and spacious and well appointed. The front desk is amazing! The onsite driver is the best! Nice coffee service in the morning. Love the bar, The Library, and love the flowers in the lobby. Great salad with steak.

Great stay!! And they had live entertainment that was fabulous !!

Room was spotless. Staff were excellent and the location was great. The hotel is gorgeous. We also enjoyed the pool.

Sadly the entirmain restaurant was closed the night I stayed for
- 5/5
All aspects of our stay were excellent. Car shuttle was convenient and the entertainment in the Library Bar was lively. We look forward to our next visit.
- 3/5
GYM WAS NOT IN OPERATION and that was not disclosed Some noise from radiator
- 3/5
Just not impressed with room. So much light from the hallway, comes in through around the door. Shower was small. Cost to park was expensive.
- 5/5
Excellent service, spotless room, great bar.
- 3/5
The cons: The noise level was upsetting. The hotel must be located right next to a nightclub. Both Friday and Saturday nights, the thumping of loud music flooded the room until 1:00am. Additionally the room was stuffy.
- 5/5
Comfy bed, very clean easy check in and out.

Always a wonderful stay at the Warwick, great rooms, beautiful lobby and love the bar.

Overall quality ambience. All parts of building, including our room appeared to be well taken care of.

I love hotels with character. The Warwick exudes character and charm. Staff was more than courteous. Room was spotless. Amenities are great. The lobby bar was lively.
- 5/5
Everything was great from checkin to checkout. Staff was awesome. I would definitely recommend and will stay here again.
- 5/5
Great staff, large clean rooms, great location.
- 5/5
Spotless beautiful room and great amenities
- 5/5
Historic and well maintained! Room was spacious with modern features. Windows have extra glass so it's very quiet. Fantastic stay, I highly recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Service
- 3/5
The hotel was fine- the double beds were SO tiny!! And parking is $50 per day- we had 2 cars and 1 we didn’t even use but there was no other option for parking. The fire station is across the street so very loud at all hours - but the staff was friendly!
- 3/5
Staff- average: desk staff can be more professional and polite. Very youthful responses that were not always respectful. They were not helpful, and did not seem well trained for customer service. Food- below average. Menus are outdated. Food overpriced for the quality. Building- very nice. Private hotel shuttle- driver has an unpleasant attitude: I asked the driver for his contact number to he picked up, he gave me the front desk number . When I asked the front desk to book him, they said I had to call him to book, and that I had to ask him for his number because they didn’t have it. When I asked the driver what time the shuttle began , and I mentioned my show I needed a ride to began earlier he said “well I don’t know what to tell you!” He should have informed me of the Dallas market center’s shuttle service that was available earlier. That would have been a good thing to tell me, informative and much more polite. I didn’t realize he wasn’t the only shuttle service.

The thermostat was stuck. Location and amenities
- 5/5
Loved the hotel and stay! It was comfortable yet stately. When I entered the hotel I felt welcomed like a guest.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Very clean and very cute for Christmas! Great bar area too
- 5/5
My flight arrived early so I got to the hotel in the morning. I have stayed at the Warwick many times! They have always been so accommodating about trying to get me into a room as soon as possible. They wanted to charge me $50 extra to get into a room. When I refused, I asked, What the earliest option would be. They said 1 o’clock. At 12 o’clock I watched many patrons get checked in till finally I walked up at 12:35. They then allowed me to check in. Really poor customer service.
- 5/5
Large, sun filled room with a great view!
- 5/5
It was hard to get the receptionist on the phone. I had to make multiple calls and the front desk did not have much clue about what was going on on new year's eve.
- 4/5
Great location, nice room but bathroom need some update paint peeling in some areas etc
- 5/5
Love this hotel. Great staff. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Bar is fantastic.
- 1/5
I’ve seen this hotel multiple times. The hotel is fine however, apparently they charge you $50 to check in even an hour early. That’s ridiculous. Almost all other nice hotels will accommodate an early check-in if they can. They gave me some line about having to prepare the rooms. This is not the case at all. I paid my $50 and then instantly my room was ready. It was obviously ready before. What a scam.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Clean and friendly
- 5/5
We would definitely consider staying here again 😊.
- 4/5
Loved the Landmark Prime Rib for dinner, and our breakfast through room service was amazing. Loved the spacious room, the lobby was beautiful and inviting, and the staff was all so friendly and welcoming.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Neat and clean hotel, décor felt a bit old-fashioned but of course some people like that. Friendly staff
- 3/5
Also asked at checkin for late check out and a male person said 1pm was ok, right after 12 noon a female Spanish housekeeper knocks on my door, expectation # 2 fail again.
- 5/5
Tha staff performed admirably including valet front desk housekeeping and bartenders. Gene went out of his way to give us a tour of The Landmark. Just superior.
- 4/5
All good except Valet guy left our keys in our car overnight. Thankfully car wasn’t stolen
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and a good location

Beautiful and historic

Excellent hotel that exudes class and service. We loved our rooms, and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. This hotel in uptown is a great location for access to all Dallas locations with easy in and out access.

Beautiful property! All the staff with the exception of the night valet were attentive, professional, and friendly.

No hot water !!
- 5/5
Entire experience! Such a historic gem in Dallas.
- 5/5
The Warwick is always the best of the best.
- 1/5
My confirmed booking was cancelled against our will. We had to look for another hotel on our own. This is the worst booking experience. I wish I could give a zero star but that's not an option
- 5/5
Staff met my requests, loved the clean rooms and timeless architecture.
- 5/5
Love staying here
- 3/5
You asked. Can't find my notes so I'll wing it. First the valet could not possibly have done a better job and was polite and welcoming.. Got the car situated and headed to check in. Check in was a bit different. The hostess could not have been further from accommodation and more "I need to get back to my text". Got to the room with no wifi code or a mini bar key. Screw it. I'll do it later. The room was very nice except it was right next to a hospitality suit which was busy. My bathroom door actually opened into the venue. Noisey but didn't bother me. I just kept the other door closed. The mat in front of the sink was dirty and ragged. First class all the way. Later at the lobby bar. The bartender Sunday night was a great guy and wonderful host. Very good martini with onions, which he managed to hunt down. Back to check in on my way back to the room. On the phone this time and miles away from accommodation....still. Oh, almost forget, the outlet under the desk could maybe have had one more thing plugged into it if you had knee pads. Average rating is solely due to the bartender and the valet. After heading out I discovered the overnight or morning valet had changed all of my radio stations and set the heat to 85. Cute. I didn'y have my interior security cam turned on or some poor soul would be in deep S.
- 2/5
We stay, often, at the Melrose. Twice last week, alone. We needed , first time ever, a late checkout. I was required to purchase another night for same. Explanation was they were super busy. Not true
- 5/5
Staff was excellent.
- 5/5
I have been staying at The Mellrose for 25 years. It is my home away from home, while in Dallas.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable. Elevator noise was a bit bothersome but overall great stay

- 1/5
We had a very frustrating stay, as we had to change rooms three times. The first room was not cleaned properly and had hair everywhere. The second room’s AC stopped working in the middle of the night, and we suffered through the entire night without help. The front desk staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, and they even downgraded our room, which felt very disrespectful. The only positive experience was the electrician—he was very kind and genuinely tried to help us.
- 3/5
Shuttle service was worthless. The first night, we got to our reservation on time. But, we waited 50 minutes after calling for pick up from restaurant. The following night, after checking with the front desk and the driver in advance, we had to take an Uber back to hotel.
- 4/5
Staff was great as always. But we did have a little issue with the room that I had booked. They did not have it reserved for us and put us in a smaller room. They did give us a refund, but we really preferred the deluxe room
- 4/5
I needed to refrigerate something and had to request a key for the minibar in our room. Fridge was broken, not cooling and dirty. I reported it, was told it would be fixed while we were at dinner. It wasn’t and no one checked back with us on it. Service level of staff was inconsistent between team members.
- 5/5
Great service. Very welcoming reception from parking and registration!
- 5/5
This hotel is unbelievable! We stayed for our anniversary and my stomach ended up not feeling too great. The kitchen staff made me a custom meal and delivered it to our room! Top notch service.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel with convenient valet parking, a great lobby, cool bar and comfortable restaurant. I Did not visit the spa, but this hotel has all the amenities you could want for a Dallas vacation or staycation.
- 4/5
Great spacious room and terrific staff
- 5/5
Alex the morning front desk guy really came through. And the room was set up for our anniversary just beautiful.
- 5/5
Gorgeous, historic, luxurious. Close to Katy Trail. The downstairs bar, Library, is one of Dallas's best places to hear live music. The breakfast Melrose Potatoes are famous and perfect for a post-Library evening. Staff is always perfect. We stay here almost every time we visit Dallas, which is about 4x/year.
- 5/5
Wonderful Hotel
- 5/5
Great place. Large clean room. Great bar and restaurant.
- 5/5
The room is quite large, stylish, and comfortable. The valet service was very good even in the pouring rain. Alex at the front desk was friendly and professional. The Library Bar within the hotel had great offerings and service. Especially great was Eric on the piano, singing and playing great songs from a variety of eras.

- 3/5
Room was in ok condition. Fan made a noise all night long that made it difficult to sleep. Housekeeping did not leave any clean towels the second day. Elevators were broke when we needed to check out. Carrying all of our bags down several flights of dark stairs wasn’t super fun but we managed.
- 2/5
Room service and lost electricity.
- 5/5
Love the place, go to get away
- 5/5
Great rooms
- 3/5
Mostly lack of communication, coordination, etc. was really poor. Not to mention services.
- 5/5
Excellent service, great rooms and always efficient and very clean.
- 3/5
Love the hotel location and bar and food. Was on 7th floor and could hear airplanes from airport . And no water in room was a disappointment. Stay on the lower floors, bring water you’ll be fine
- 5/5
The Melrose is priced well below the elegance it offers.
- 5/5
Always a great stay
- 5/5
Rome was spotless and spacious.
- 5/5
Great minibar. Excellent customer service. No parking. Valet only.
- 5/5
Room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was beautiful, large shower with an overhead rain shower head. The staff members were courteous and helpful. Great stay!
- 5/5
Our 2 night stay was great! We had a clean and spacious room, kind and responsive staff, all set in southern elegance. Would recommend
- 5/5
All staff was amazing!
- 5/5
No drinks or breakfast at the hotel.
- 4/5
The surrounding area is good, some nice restaurants and coffee shops.
- 3/5
The property is fabulous. The room was fine not great. It advertised 475 square feet but was I used to stay there all of the time but now that The parking is $50 overnight.
- 3/5
The Warwick is a beautiful hotel but this time we stayed the elevator would not work and we had to go down 8 flights of stairs to get out. ( old knees) plus we were not informed that they had had some problems with the fire sprinkler going off so no double beds . Luckily it was us girls so we doubled up. Will most likely pick a newer hotel next time. 😊
- 5/5
One night stay. Great dinner, friendly staff
- 5/5
Loved this hotel. Friendly staff, great rooms. Will stay there again
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and rooms, my favorite hotel decor overall in Dallas.

We enjoyed our stay. Music in the club was an unexpected highlight.
- 5/5
Very friendly. Easy check in. Loved the bar with nightly music. Good location. The roasted tomato soup was amazing! There is a $20 daily fee as well as a parking fee. Just to know that there is a handicap space or two in front of where the valet parking is that is free if you can snag it. I would definitely go back.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and smelled fresh. Front desk staff was welcoming and friendly. Food could be better. Pool is lovely!
- 3/5
I return to the Warwick regularly, but have to admit that consistently there is a bit of a lack of good service. Good example, last night at 10 o’clock I called for extra blankets in the room and when I checked out this morning at eight, they had never arrived.
- 4/5
Room was great there was an issue where the shower smelled like still water and wasn’t draining properly
- 5/5
Excellent staff, beautiful large room. Very accommodating, allowed for early check-in and late checkout without question. Will absolutely stay here again the next time I am in Dallas. Pool area was also very nice.
- 5/5
Great property!
- 5/5
Hotel is great and easy to get between campus and downtown. Not much walk ability as area near by is not like other areas near campus or art district
- 5/5
Experience was great!
- 5/5
Really great hotel. Right in the middle of Dallas so you can get everywhere. Really fun bar scene with great people watching. Spotlessly clean room. Comfortable bed with nice pressed sheets. The staff was very helpful. The valet parking guys were fast and nice. Everyone was polite. Any negatives? Not really. The bathroom now has liquid soap in the shower which was not pumping out very fast but good lord, that’s nothing. I found a bar of soap on the counter so problem solved. Great stay. And good for the money as well. I would return in a heartbeat.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was amazing
- 5/5
The Hotel is a unique experience. The Hotel architecture and design and furniture takes you back to another time... Great place to stay if you fly Southwest. Easy in and out. Very clean, nice bar and restaurant. We will definitely stay there again! Service was great from everyone.
- 5/5
Great classic hotel
- 5/5
The hotel was perfect and the service is exceptional!
- 5/5
Great customer service
- 4/5
Showering was uncomfortable. The water was tepid and not hot, and the water pressure was low. I travel a lot, and this was the first time experiencing water being so cold. I hope this information helps.
- 5/5
Staff is very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Always a great stay here.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5

- 5/5
We had an amazing experience.
- 5/5
Scott is amazing and always make sure we feel welcome and appreciated!!
- 5/5
This is my favorite hotel in the Dallas area. It's a historical hotel in a great location, and everything about it is excellent. The rooms are HUGE by normal hotel standards, and each room is maintained to the highest standards. The bar scene is one of the best (even with the locals!), offering live entertainment and excellent cocktails. And the staff is professional and welcoming, without being stuffy. I love everything about this hotel and will continue to frequent it.
- 5/5
Clean , quiet, affordable
- 5/5
The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 3/5
Loved the bar and entertainment. Staff at the front desk and car attendants were all very nice. The noise of the fire trucks/ cars kept us up at night.
- 5/5
Classic boutique conveniently located with courteous staff and quality restaurant/bar
- 2/5
We planned to spend alot of time by pool but it was closed early twice while we were there. One time with warning the other time no warning. We also chose this hotel to have the prime rib dinner in hotel restaurant The restaurant was closed for private function, there was no warning of this either, had there been we would have gone night before. When I asked the manager (Anna) if we could have prime rib served in bar restaurant she said no and was defensive about the situation This bothered me the most, a good hotel manger would have tried to solve problem, the bar shared kitchen with restaurant. I think a little imagination and talking to staff could have accommodated us. Finally the pillows in Hotel are terrible for sleeping IMO. They are tall and lumpy, good if you are a back sleeper not side sleeper. When I asked for better pillows I received more of the same. I had 7 pillows in room and they all had synthetic fiber lumps, I think they were washed and dried improperly. We came here to be pampered. We will now look to other hotels in Dallas BTW Front of house and bar staff where very nice
- 4/5
It was a nice hotel. The pool was nice. The bar was not available during our visit. The breakfast was good.
- 5/5
The Always love us Back here❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
- 5/5
Favorite hotel in dallas!
- 5/5
It was a perfect stay! The corner room was wonderful!
- 5/5
Loved our stay at this hotel and Jonathan was the best at helping get a glitch in our reservation taken care of quickly and efficiently. He was superb!
- 5/5
We always stay here when in Dallas, Texas.
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Quiet and clean.
- 5/5
I love the old style charm but in an updated way and the Livraru, their restaurant is amazing!
- 5/5
The staff including valet front desk housekeeping and wait staff were Excellent. All were professional accommodating and friendly. I regret that I could not find any information regarding self parking .
- 5/5
Great rooms
- 5/5
Location
- 5/5
Beautiful renovation of a classic hotel
- 5/5
Everything was great but just be prepared for valet. It’s a sticker shock at $50 a night with no self parking options. That’s dinner for one for just parking. The worse part, valet parks your car right in front of you, just feet away.
- 5/5
Very nice historical looking place. Friendly staff
- 5/5
I love this place it’s fabulous! Everyone was so kind and helpful, live music at night and great food too!
- 3/5
This is an older property which comes with pros and cons. Older ac units are a little noisy in the rooms. No water bottles in the room, I've not stayed in a hotel in years that do not supply water as complimentary standard. We could hear road noise and teh church bells from the room. The $45 for vallet parking is egregious as there is no self park and the area surrounding the hotel is a little sketchy and I would not feel comfortable waking around the surrounding areas on my own. The hotel bar looked like a nice spot for a drink but we didn't use this. The lobby seemed to have nice vibes and they did let us stay an extra hour in the morning before checking out. Any longer than that would have incurred another $50 charge. It was an OK stay but nothing special for Dallas.
- 5/5
Loved this hotel! Quiet, great food and ambience. Will definitely stay here again.
- 1/5
After all this, I immediately demanded to speak to the manager. She conveniently wasn't working but was told she would be there the following morning at 7am. The next morning I asked to speak with her and again was told she wasn't working today but will be in tomorrow. I need Warwick Melrose to contact me immediately to rectify these issues.
- 5/5
Great experience staying here! Absolutely spacious and comforting. Highly recommend. The only “bummer” is the $45 a night parking fee.
- 4/5
The staff is always helpful and accommodating, and the location is convenient to many great restaurants in the Oak Lawn area. The Library is quite charming, with a line up of entertainment each day of the week.
- 5/5
Great rooms, staff and facilities.
- 5/5
Quaint boutique hotel with elegant charm. ALL Staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Love the Speakeasy style bar with live music. New favorite place!
- 4/5

- 5/5
This is our third stay here for business trips - always the best service and comfort. The library lounge is so fun - music is amazing- looking forward to our next trip
- 3/5
All was nice except front desk was not of help. I asked for decaf in room and a fan. Neither arrived at all after I asked twice. The. I went down and said the hotel had no decaffeinated coffee at all. Had ran out. Fan never showed at all.
- 5/5
Beautiful property, great pool & staff
- 5/5
Returning guest for the third time and will never stay anywhere else in Dallas. Clean, safe, well maintained, convenient amenities. Love it there!
- 5/5
Beautiful furniture, spacious and the bathroom is so beautiful
- 5/5
Excellent! Spacious beautiful rooms, excellent staff, perfect lounge to relax with a drink and food!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel.
- 5/5
Fabulous property. Staff is incredible!!
- 5/5
Only suggestion was to put an overhead light/lamp in the step in closet. Sems a bit dark with no artificial lighting and does not get any from windows.
- 5/5
So beautiful! More than what I expected!!
- 5/5
We enjoyed staying at a unique hotel that has a substantial history. They have done a great job with preservation and renovation.
- 4/5
The only issue is the even rooms are street facing which is a bit loud. Very spacious room with comfortable bed. Parking is $49
- 5/5
The entire staff was great! The valet, front desk, and bartender at the Library were all so personable and welcoming. We had a really great experience!
- 5/5
Amazing stay at the Warwick Melrose in Dallas!
- 3/5
Waited several mins to check in. Beautiful hotel with nice amenities
- 5/5
One of my all time favorite places to be in Dallas.
- 5/5
We are always made to feel like family & Scott always goes out of his way to greet and welcome us.
- 5/5
Large, clean room Personable staff Library Bar music, food, and drinks are great Gene and Rosa in Library are great hosts Great experience
- 3/5
This was a trip for my brother and sister in law for their baby moon. I did not want any stress on them so I made sure to call 4 days before and put my card on file. I signed a form and everything. Whoever the lady was working the front desk on Friday was very argumentative with them. I’m not sure why it did not show my card but her attitude did not make things easier. Other than that they said they had a good time.
- 5/5
Such a great, classic hotel! Charming and comfortable. Awesome bar!
- 5/5
I adore this hotel. I’ve been staying here for years. So cozy and comfortable. Staff is always so friendly and professional. Feels like home away from home. Lots of amenities too. Best bar, great food. Nice spa! What more could you ask for.
- 5/5
I even hung at the pool for an hour.
- 3/5
Gorgeous hotel and nice folks abound but OMG the AC in my room was loud. Think 19th century steam engine loud. As in ‘whoosh whoosh WHOOOOSH clang clang CLAAAAAAANG rumba rumba RUUUUUUUUMBA” sort of thing. But the cats making music in the bar played ‘Girl from Ipanema” for me so that made up for. Sort of.
- 5/5
Nice and very reasonably priced hotel. My only complaint is the $45 charge for an overnight parking. There is no self parking even though there is a huge parking lot on the property usually holding a dozen or so cars. This is not a high volume or downtown area where parking should cost 1/2 or 1/3 of the room charge and there's no reason at all that there can't be self parking in the lot.
- 5/5
Historical property with beautiful upgrades.
- 5/5
This was an amazing stay for us in Dallas. Close and accessible to the downtown arts district. Great amenities on site. Historic and classic in all the right ways. A true gem!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel- we checked in late after a cancelled flight and stayed an extra day. Extremely comfortable!
- 5/5
Amazing stay!!
- 5/5
Excelent.
- 5/5
We love this property. We always stay here when in Dallas and every experience has been awesome!
- 5/5
it’s the BEST
- 4/5
Cozy room. Not your typical looking hotel. Nice vibe from the time we pulled up until we left. Bar had entertainment. Beds were comfort, pillows not so much. Glad I brought my own.
- 5/5
This is a lovely older property in the Oaklawn area of Dallas. Great area for shopping, eating and accessing other areas of Dallas. They have a wonderful spa with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We plan to return very soon.
- 5/5
This is my second time here and I was a little skeptical about the old time vibes but everyone was wonderful, friendly and the accomodations were clean, and they thought about everything one could need when staying in a hotel.
- 5/5
Great hotel with spacious rooms. Nice location near lgbtq area. Beautiful pool. Restaurant needs work but all in all a quiet property. The lounge bar is excellent with great live music.
- 5/5
Very nice historic landmark property. Clean, comfortable, nice pool area, friendly staff and awesome bar with live music six nights a week. Cant wait to go back.
- 5/5
Amazing stay
- 5/5
Such a beautiful place! Love the library bar in the lounge too! Staff are so welcoming and accommodating.
- 5/5
I have stayed at several properties in Dallas but this may be my new favorite. I love the historic beauty and location and the spacious rooms. I will definately be back.
- 5/5
I loved my short stay here. Very beautiful hotel and property. I throughly enjoyed the pool area. Thank you!
- 4/5
Was disappointed that valet parking is the only available option unless you find a spot on the street and hope you don’t get a parking ticket. Our stay was lovely. Beds are a bit hard but overall we were happy.
- 5/5
The Warwick is quickly becoming my second home… perfect in literally every way !
- 5/5
Amazing hotel with pristine style
- 5/5
Pool and spa were amazing!! I’ll be back.
- 5/5
Nice and quite and a central location.
- 3/5
The young man who checked us in was aloof bordering on rude and certainly was not helpful. The room was not as clean as was expected for a hotel of this caliber. The carpet was unclean and torn in areas the bed not sized as advertised it was suppose to be a king, it wasn’t there were too few towels, no complimentary water. The water pressure was insufficient in the shower and it was hard to regulate the air conditioner which was really loud. In general it was a disappointment for the price.
- 5/5
This stay is polar opposite from our last visit to Dallas. We will be staying at The Warwick every time we visit Dallas now. Great spacious hallways, great views from the room, and what a gorgeous pool. Thank you all at The Warwick for giving us a fantastic stay.
- 5/5
Beautiful old historic hotel we always love staying at the Melrose
- 5/5
I enjoy the classic feel of this hotel. Room was spacious and the amenities nice. Feels like many people go there for festivities. I did not and still had a quiet and peaceful stay.
- 5/5
Excellent service. Spacious rooms. Pool is amazing.
- 5/5
Location was prime. I liked the bed. Cleanliness. Shower and bath were great. I big on coffee and it being available in the lobby to 11 was fantastic Staff in the Library Bar was very cool and made me feel at home. Front Desk Staff was very helpful when I had questions about anything related to my stay in Dallas and the Warrick. The place has class
- 4/5
The only negative about this hotel was that the ice machine on my floor didn’t work for my entire stay. Never saw any maintenance personnel working on it to fix it. Very inconvenient to have to take an elevator upstairs just to get ice when needed.
