We really enjoyed being so close to the beach and having access to such a cute pool surrounded by plants.

The staff is amazing. The place is very well taken care of. You can tell the owner cares about this place. It’s about a 10 min walk to shops and restaurants. The beach is across the street. At night it’s quiet. I definitely will be back. Don’t hesitate to book this place!!!

Nice enough place to stay near the beach. Like other reviews said, the air conditioner was super loud. Its older but the room was spacious.

Honu Cove was AMAZING! The manager and Drew the housekeeper were great, very helpful and friendly. The room was spotless. The pool area is clean, with lots of seating and even FLOATIES!!!! The amenities were great. Loved the toiletries and especially the little packs with the hair ties and personal care items like cotton pads. The room was cute and large. Good size ROKU TV was appreciated for sure. I will definitely stay again if I'm ever down this way!

Great place to stay! The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and updated, and the pool area was a nice spot to relax. It’s also just a short walk to the beach, and the hotel provides chairs and umbrellas you can borrow, which was a great perk.

Would rate Hotel as a 9 tn a 1 to 10 scale. Main reason listing said unit had a kitchen, but kitchen did not have stove or coffee maker for Ground coffee. Everything else was nice.

Honu Cove is a hidden GEM! Sam and Drew could not have been more accommodating and kind! It is their offseason so they are working on some projects outside but our room seemed recently renovated and it was spotless! We were very comfortable and will definitely stay here again!!!

Rare to find such an affordable Gem

Absolutely the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in years. The big boys can take a lesson from this little gem just two blocks from the beach, walking distance to dining and local shops. The Staff went above and beyond our expectations. We will be return customers .

Quaint hotel with excellent service! Rooms were clean, kitchenette had everything we needed. The rooms are all right off the pool, which has tables, lounge chairs and seating areas surrounded by gorgeous plants. They had sunscreen, aloe, bug spray readily available at the towel rack. Service was above and beyond, even offering to shuttle guests around in their golf cart. The beach was one block away, the hotel also had beach chairs and a beach wagon for guests’ use. We loved the ‘family feel’ of the place.

This place is quiet and relaxing. Only a few steps from a less crowded beach on the South side.

The host, Alex, greeted us as we were parking the car and made sure we were oriented with the hotel room functions and amenities. The hotel is not a luxury hotel… but it has been well reconstructed and the rooms were great except for the front blinds. The room could not be darkened enough for comfortable sleeping so we made temporary covers to darken the shades. Not an issue. We will stay there again in the future. Good location. Easy beach access.

I paid in advance for 24 days. I stayed for only 10. At around 4pm on the 10th day, I received a message from the manager, Sam, saying I had until 6pm to vacate the room. The reason? They allege I burned a desk with an incense stick — something they had previously asked me not to use, and which I stopped using after their request. The “evidence” they sent me was a photo of a 1.5-inch burn mark. Let me be clear: I am a 61-year-old woman, a single mother, and a licensed therapist with 35 years of experience. I’ve authored several books and helped hundreds of people heal. How could the tip of an incense stick — less than 0.1 inches — cause such damage? And more importantly: how do they know I caused it? It's my word against the "maid boy," Drew. I paid an extra $125 per week because I brought my dogs. In return, Drew was supposed to deep clean weekly. He did not. On the 8th day, I gently asked him to change the sheets. He never cleaned the bathroom — the sink corners turned yellow — nor did he clean the kitchen. Thankfully, the very day they evicted me, I had just signed a lease on a new apartment. It was empty, but I moved in that night, sleeping on a comforter on the floor until my furniture arrived two days later. They refuse to refund the remaining 14 days. Their justification? “We don’t do refunds.” My personal guess: they needed to replace furniture and decided I’d be the perfect sponsor. I am looking for a lawyer.

Beautiful hotel. Newly renovated. Everything was brand new. Beautiful pool and lush flowers and greenery. Friendly and courteous front desk.

What a delightful property. I have always wanted to stay in a small boutique hotel that was all rage in the 60's and 70's. Unfortunately, most are long gone. Honu Cove, is a gem! Giving us the "old Florida" feel in terms of quaintness and service, but with upgraded and meticulously clean rooms. The management obviously loves this property as well, as they went over and above to take care of us. Thanks Sam for a great experience!

Honu Cove is a nice roadside motel with plenty of greenery and flowers around the courtyard to make it feel resort like. The place was very quiet for being on a main road. Rooms were clean and spacious. While the beds were very firm for my tastes, since it’s a very personal choice I would not take anything away from the rating. The motel is a block from the beach and stores and restaurants are a nice walk if you cut over to the beach sidewalk about half a mile away. Measured mile sidewalk is nice day or night due to the lighting. All in all a great place to stay. Doors are combination so you don’t have to worry if you have the key and chocolates on the bed is a nice personal touch.

I would definitely recommend this property. Everything about it was cozy. The outside pool area was so nice and relaxing. The beach was only a walk away. We had a wonderful stay.

Great affordable deal in a good location.

My wife and I were traveling for a business event that took place at the Embassy Suites just up the street. We chose not to stay there because it was ridiculously costly. Thus we found this little gem! I booked our reservation based on the reviews we saw and we were not disappointed! First, the staff was amazing! Never before have I been met in the parking lot as I pulled in, handed my keys, paperwork and parking pass! 1st class and super friendly. I even got a refund on my pre-paid room because he saw my military tattoo and automatically extended me the discount. Thank you! This is a very old motel but you can see the pride of ownership. It is incredibly clean and well modernized. We were very comfortable in our room and the location is perfect. We will be back and they certainly earned our business!

From outside looks like a motel. Staff reached out and I did a self check in. The rooms are very spacious, very nice decorated, both bath and kitchen are well supplied. Quality toiletries, towels and bedding. They actually do housekeeping.

Sam and Drew were the best hosts! They thought of what guests would need to enjoy a beach vacation and had those items available. The outdoor area of the property was lovely, and our room was clean and neat.

Fantastic location, less than five minutes from the beach, and a 15 minute walk to the restaurants. Service was friendly at check in but left us alone which is what we wanted. Clean, comfy everything worked.

Great place to stay!! Very quiet and sort of secluded with lots of vegetation around the pool to make you feel like you’re someplace tropical. Super fast and easy walk to the beach. Just across the road and north or south a block or two and you have prime beach. Lots of options for restaurants and ice cream places within walking distance. Easily get DoorDash or Uber eats delivered if you’re as exhausted as we were the first night. Very clean and had all modern amenities. There is a shortage of plugs so you may want to pack a multi port charger. The water gets very HOT very fast which is great for most people but after getting fried at the beach cold water is most soothing. The kitchenette is great. Comes with a toaster, microwave, apartment size fridge, keurig and some basic plates, cups and utensils. There is a Publix grocery store right over the bridge along with more restaurants and drug stores. Sam and Drew were always around the hotel and if you needed anything they were a short call away. They offered chairs, coolers, and towels to take to the beach if you wanted but there’s also chair/umbrella rentals on the beach. Everything was just great and we will definitely stay here again next time we’re down here visiting family.

Absolutely stunning! Very helpful staff, an excellent location! We will definitely come back as we are absolutely in love with this place. It is so loved and so taken care by its owners! 10/10! The pool is clean and surrounded by the beautiful plants. Rooms are clean, ans well, and up-to-date.

Great little motel, large room with kitchenette seperate. Had a good pool and the manager was excellent . You can walk to the pier in no time, with bars and restaurants. Its all newly refurbished rooms are the best.

THIS place!!! Super cute property, great location, super clean room and comfy bed/pillows. Sam and Drew were excellent hosts with so many personal touches. I could go on and on, from having a stocked beach cart ready outside our room to the personal message after our son’s football game. We will most definitely come back!!!

The gentleman at Honu Cove are excellent. They truly go above and beyond to make sure that you enjoy your stay. Next time I'm down will have to through down on the blackstone. The location is perfect.

Sam and Drew were wonderful hosts. They are very attentive to any needs. This a small hotel which is why we stayed there. No elevators. You park in front. Short walk to our room. The room itself was very spacious with a small kitchen area. Bathroom has a large shower and separate storage. This hotel was a block from the beach and beach was beautiful. This hotel is in the perfect spot for restaurants. Short travel to other cities like Boca Raton, Pompano, Ft Lauderdale. We stayed at this hotel 25 years ago and loved it. This time around it was improved and we were very impressed .We definitely will revisit again.

This place is by far one of the best hotels we stayed in while on our 2 week vacation once we arrived and met the staff they made us feel at home. We they checked out our room and the comfortable beds and wished we would have booked our whole 2 weeks here. The rooms are updated and very clean. The property is well kept and lots to do definitely a 5 star hotel!

I loved the staff so friendly and professional, when you arrive they are very welcome, the manager answer quickly and you can see the details of care in any corner of the small hotel you can see the care of the customers and very cozy. I will come back with my kids again.

This was a perfect little hotel with all the dining options within walking distance to Deerfield Beach (we didn’t rent a car), hotel was recently renovated, very comfortable beds and clean bathroom; our stay was very relaxing and quiet; staff was very helpful, providing the beach chairs/umbrella which will save you a lot of money at the beach :) also were able to rent cooler from them. Would highly recommend!
