Wonderful staff. So helpful. Be aware that you must step outside and walk to the lobby and breakfast area as the large suite/rooms are configured to be more like condos. Our room necessitated carrying suitcases up steps--outside steps. Not a problem for us but it may be for others. Nice breakfast!!

Michael at the front desk was so welcoming and gave me all the info I needed. The property was great. Good value! My only small criticism was that I could not get the temperature in my room to go lower than 78. But it was fine so I didn’t bring this to anyone’s attention.

The toilet wouldn't flush due to the chain coming off of the handle... I had to fix that. Also the bathroom door is hard to shut... the door needs an adjustment. Other than that, it was a nice, clean, good-sized suite room. It is a pretty friendly hotel... if you have the extra $100. That seems a bit excessive to me

The front desk staff and on site staff were all very friendly. My room was clean and they were accommodating to both my cat and my situation-I needed a late check-out because of work being completed at my home and they allowed me to extend it until 4pm on a Friday.

Overall condition of the site was good. However the cable and the use of the internet was spotty.

From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The front desk staff member who checked us in was incredibly cheerful, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. His friendly attitude set the tone for our entire stay, and the thoughtful welcome gift was a pleasant surprise that we truly appreciated. Our room was spotless, cozy, and felt just like home — exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I absolutely would. It’s by far the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in, and we’re already looking forward to coming back in the future.

There were actually pretzels on the floor. The staff was very nice. The location was good. We could hear everything from the room above us. It sounded like they were dropping bowling balls on the floor. We could also hear a dog barking. I was totally exhausted by time we returned home

Great Stay

The outdoor pool was clean and nice, and the breakfast was far better than most hotels. The eggs were real, and the selection was great. They had cereal, waffles, greek and regular yogurt, egg sandwiches, and several drink choices (coffee, tea, juices and milk). The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. We had the two-bedroom suite, which was actually a suite, not a room with a half wall between the bed and sitting area. We are planning to come back in the future.

The only issue was we could hear the upstairs neighbors clomping around. I would stay again but I'd get an upstairs unit.

We really enjoyed our stay here in the 2 bedroom condo. It was super comfortable for me my husband and mother in law. The place was clean comfy and the area was nice and quiet. Will definitely stay again.

The breakfast was of very good value. Location was away from main streets and nicely quiet. Bathroom and kitchen utensils and towel supplies were adequate. It was upsetting to hear the cost of $100 to house our pet dog, even more so since this price was never mentioned when booked. I can understand an associated cost if my pet were to biologically soil the interior, but you really have to clean the room regardless if there was an animal housed there overnight. I would not have booked this property if this detail would have been known in advance. Definitely a social media display to follow!

Came to do some Christmas shopping. The room fit what we needed and was clean but definitely showed some wear in the flooring. Was shocked to be told at check in that there was a $250 hold. For one night. Seemed insane to me and luckily wasn’t counting on that with shopping as I have a cc that I use only for travel.

Michael has a knack to make you feel welcome and be so professional at the same time.

Very pragmatic layout but amenities are old and not updated. Night reception was hospitable but morning front desk was unhelpful and rude. I’d recommend another hotel.

It was the perfect stay nestled in an amazing location. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here. The private entrance gave a warm cozy feeling.

Outside access rooms, excellent breakfast

This was a clean and easy pleace to stay. Super comfortable. The in room kitchen was super convient. Bed and couch were super comfortable.

We had to wait 2 Hours after our initial scheduled check in time….the rooms were not clean, the sleeper sofa mattress was covered from head to toe in what looked like urine stains, which my son did NOT sleep on, the floor in the bathroom was sinking in and extremely afraid to take a shower in or use toilet, stepping on tile in bathroom tiles would sink, just not safe and extremely disappointed for spending $550 for 2 days at this place. Let alone getting off a 3 hour drive to be told we don’t have a room ready and will be 2 hours,

Nice accommodations, free parking, wifi and breakfast. gym, pool, pickleball court onsite. Room had a full kitchen along with dinnerware which made it convenient for a longer work trip. I would recommend

Nice, comfortable place to stay.

Overall it was a nice stay but I was disappointed about how unaccommodating they were about having a family member with accessibility challenges. I understand they don't have an option for a 2 bedroom unit with wheelchair access, but I called a month in advance and at check in, they assigned us to a unit near the back of the property on the backside of a building, 2 flights of stairs up. Ideally they should have put us in a unit closer to the clubhouse or near handicap parking. I would return again but under different family circumstances.

The unit was impeccably maintained. It sparkled and had a full kitchen, table, desk, couch, bathroom with shower, large bed.

In general, the property is good. The staff is generally responsive. We had an issue with the shower drain and we are not sure it was fixed. This made showering problematic. We probably should have been offered a different roo..

• The staff is friendly, efficient, and accommodating. • The breakfast buffet is more than adequate with both hot and cold selections. Of course it's not Michelin quality fare but it totally gets you going in the morning. • Location is not really walking distance to restaurants and stores but you didn't walk to the hotel, did you? • Hotel is freeway close and only 17 miles to O'Hare • The Pickle Ball court was a popular amenity and I'm sure the BBQ is also well-used in warmer weather.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, in a large corporate area. You can’t really walk to any restaurants or convenience stores.

Nice bed, big bath, big room, living space and equiped kitchen! At checkin we were informed that their would not be hot water for several hours the following day and no house keeping with a 2 day stay.

Clean and quiet

However, when I arrived, there was a dead mouse in the middle of the kitchen floor, I had to get new keys three different times because mine kept shorting out or something the locking me out of the room… and there was a high-pitched whistling sound coming from beyond the bathroom, along with some banging. Not sure if it was a laundry room or what but it was consistent throughout my two night stay. Saturday morning breakfast didn’t start until 7:00. That’s too late for a weekend hotel breakfast. Some people like to get up early and get on the road and when I did, there was nothing to get me started.

Ethan at the Front Desk was exceptional with customer service at communication and the entertainment offerings for my 2 Elder Grands ages 9yr. Female and 4yr. male. My Mobility disability was met above my experience with other hotel stays with features. These were excellent accomodations for the service. The Housekeeping Team is detail oriented with love in their profession. Highly recommended for others also future stays when returning to Illinois.

I enjoyed the Studio Suite with full kitchen. The room and property were clean. The facility is off the main street which added quietness. The bed was comfortable, breakfast had hot or cold choices, fruit, coffee and tea. A car is needed to access shopping and dining. However, the area is walkable for you or your dog. Overall, excellent stay!

Great hotel for the money!

Nice property, good amenities, quiet, clean and friendly stuff. Complementary breakfast is good.

The best part of this property is the staff. The front desk staff were accommodating for any of our special requests. The property is in a corporate area, but is near to shopping, groceries etc. it’s clean and comfortable

My room was clean and in good condition, meaning no signs of wear & tear on the room. The included breakfast was also good.

Residence Inn was very nice. Clean, comfortable room. Management was very welcoming and free breakfast was very good.

Large unit, like a studio apartment. Lots of closet space. A nice vanity. Tub/shower and toilet. Full kitchen with dishes, pans, utensils. Full hot breakfast every day. The only negatives was having to walk past people smoking outside and the trash and recycle bins were overflowing a couple of days. The laundry room was accessible all the time. $1 for a box of detergent to do 1 load. $2 to wash and $2 to dry. Front desk had quarters. Hot coffee and infused water available all day. Overall, a nice stay.

Amazing accommodation! The rooms are really well designed, comfortable and with lots of privacy. The pool is amazing. The free breakfast is really good.

Suite is absolutely excellent. I may get the spelling incorrect, but Ephraim fielded a phone call from me where I was dealing with a family emergency. He also happened to be the check in person at the hotel. HE WAS KIND AND AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. Thank you for a great stay!

Great tucked away piece of paradise

The kitchen with everything you need to cook a breakfast or dinner.

Our unit #1413 had ants and bugs in the room everyday! They kept entering from under and around the front door and were all over the dressers and tables. It was almost like an infestation. Also when you walked to the front door of unit #1413, the surrounding stairwell and building had severe case of paint peeling off and the property just looked poorly kept up. We will not stay at another Residence Inn by Marriott again.

I hate to say this is a Marriott hotel brand. Room was full of ants, no cleanliness no responsibility. I have been using residenceinn since 2015, this recent experience i might never step into these hotels.

Very Close to Restaurants, Grocery Stores and Shopping

The manager, Michael, and the front desk manager were so helpful. The hotel is quiet, clean and very easy to park. I would recommend this property in Deerfield. I was traveling with my parents (who are in their mid 80’s) and the staff was very helpful in booking our rooms close together and close to the amenities and parking.

Hotel was fantastic. And front desk Mike was pleasant in dealing with the line of customers at the counter.

Well, I waited in line to check in and the people in front of me and behind me all had reservations that were not honored. It seems if you’re wealthy and your child is moving into Northwestern University your reservation is honored. I was able to get a room at Holiday Inn Express. I’d like to get some compensation from these Bozos!

Nothing near buy if you don’t have a car . My room keys didn’t work had to walk twice to the lobby that is far from the room to fix the key Very poor choices of breakfast Old carpet that smells and dusty. Toilet water very slow Shower water smells Way over priced for what they offer .

Front desk very responsive

Michael was unbelievably helpful, it was our first time traveling with a baby and he really made sure we had everything we needed.

We are a family of 5. We stayed in Deerfield to shop and visit downtown Chicago museums. We really enjoyed the space of the place. The Residence Inn was really like a small apartment. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. The suite had a bedroom upstairs in a loft with a bathroom and a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. We had a kitchen with a small dining area and a living room. The couch folded out into a single bed. Plenty of room for all of us. The only thing that could be better was the noise from the loft. The high ceilings and the flooring from the loft was very noisy. We also took the Metra train from Lake Cook road. We highly recommend. The CTA blue line is not what it used to be. A staff member informed me about the Metra at Lake Cook. So thankful for his suggestion. We would stay again. The Residence Inn was very convenient to the Metra or CTA about an hour travel time to the red line CTA.

Good hotel to stay with family

Stay was fine Just room 721 where i stay had a weird noise through the walls sounded like a fan and couldnt get much sleep that noise would wake me up constantly.

I loved the room, it was clean comfy. There are a few things I did not liked the noise from other guest at 2-3 am. Sounded like the guest were having a party and woke us up. I wasnt aware of the $250.00 incidental fees,when I booked on the website didn’t mention any of that. Overall my stay was ok loved the room but not sure if I will book there again

Love our stays here

The Front Desk was friendly & accommodating. When I had a question that were very informative!! If you don't know if you want higher internet get it anyway because it is hard getting to that screen again!! But By Far, I would choose Marriott Bonvoy to stay at again!!

The suite worked out very well for my brother and me.

Breakfast was OK: bagels in the bag, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereal, coffee. Again, no hot items due to COVID. We asked for extra coffee and shampoo, and we got it within 10 min. I thought we have 2 bedroom suite, but it was a bedroom and a loft, which was a little noisy for my daughter who slept in the loft I asked for a late check out and we were lucky, we got check out at 3 with no fees. Two gentlemen who were working front desk Thanksgiving day weekend were very helpful, unfortunately, I don't remember their names Overall, we will definitely stay the again if we visit our family in the area.

This was a wonderful location for our family trip. The room was spacious and clean. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms made our stay much more comfortable. Full kitchen with storage was fabulous too. Location is great for dining and shopping.
