Hotel was great. Just wish the door were better insulated from sound, particularly at 2am. (Guest might want to tuck a towel along the bottom of the door)

My bathroom was not cleaned properly . They was hair stuck to the shower and accumulated in areas on the floor. Communication was difficult with the housekeeping staff as they did not speak English. They were very nice. My fridge was not cooling properly. It was reported but no one came to fix it during my stay. My room was on the 3rd floor and the a/c fans were right outside the window so it was always noisy. I was told the hotel was full so I could not get another room.

The lobby area is huge, got spacious rooms and loved the connecting facility between the rooms. Lack of vegetarian options. The pancakes weren't soft. View from the room window was not great.

There was no conditioner in the bottles. Shampoo and body wash was also not enough. Staff didn’t clean the room for 2 days. There was so much chlorine smell from towels. Apart from this Breakfast was good and servers were very nice.

I had a great stay at the Hyatt. The hotel was clean, beautiful, and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. My only suggestion would be to add microwaves in the rooms for added convenience. Other than that, everything was excellent, and I would stay here again.

The television was very far from the bed in the room. No microwave in the room. No Netflix built in television-only 40 channels on the cable. Really really bad wifi, could not effectively work and was advised to forget the network and reload multiple time

Requested early check in but instead Check in was late. Nothing to keep us busy while waiting, not even a drink. Not even a check in on all of us sitting at reception. Check-out was bland like nothing happened the day before. Customer service is definitely wanting... No offer to delay check out or even get some feedback on how the inconvenience could be rectified. The hallway ceiling, walls and floors need renovation.

Pool water for kids was beyond cold, even for them. Breakfast that was paid for when reserving the room was adequate and hot. Parking was ample and safe. Hot water in the rooms had to run for about 10 minutes in order to get any to the shower.

The staff was amazingly helpful. However, the overall quality of the room and interior was not what I expected for the price I paid.

We visit this location every year and I must say they do not disappoint. I really enjoyed my stay there and breakfast is my favorite because of the great food and the staff is so warm and inviting. Thank you so much!!

The hotel was great however Expedia misrepresented how far it was from downtown Chicago. It was an over an hour during rush hour and 40+ with less traffic. It was much further than advertised.

It was a nice stay, close to freeways, quiet, and clean. The restaurant was nice too. We had dinner and the food was great, the cocktails weren’t as strong as I hoped but I guess for a hotel bar they were pretty decent. Overall, it was a good stay.

This stay was booked by mistake last night. I'm in Deerfield Beach, FL. I'm not in Deerfield, IL.

This hotel offers a plethora of options for its guest. They have a Starbucks and restaurant on the hotel. And serve breakfast for a fee which we didn’t partake this time unfortunately. The location offers lots of things to do no matter the age.

We could not control the air conditioning in our room. We called, and the staff brought us a fan to our room.

The room was clean, however there is no ventilation in the bathroom and the ceiling above the shower was peeling and you could see that moisture was building in the wall/paint. The pictures show placed it beautifully however it just didnt seem as upscale. The outside is brick and sort of looks like an older office building. The property reminded me of a Courtyard, Best Western or Quality Suites that was bought.

My husband and I loved the king bed room. The room was very clean and accomodating. The hotel overall was in very good condition. The lobby is spectacular. I love that there is a restaurant and bar on site and lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were all very nice and hospitable. Sam in particular was very helpful. I would glady stay again.

I booked a room for my family and my son's for his birthday. Online it said that the pool was heated. This was the main reason why I booked this space. I wanted to have his friends come and hang and swim offer the rooms to spend the night if they wanted. The pool water was freezing and no one wanted to swim and we all didn't even stay the night so everyone left. We also booked 2 rooms and they weren't connected.

The veneer on room doors was warped, as if they had been in a flood. Buttons in the elevator were worn. There were full trash cans and trash in the landscaping. All contributed to a shabby, unkempt feel. Parking was very full, especially with tour buses taking up much of the parking, leading to visible frustration from guests. Even with great lobby spaces, and a full hotel, the bar closed at 11 on the weekend, yet "no outside drinks" were allowed in lobby spaces. We called the morning of our arrival to speak with staff, to ensure our requested room was correct after the confirmation made it look like it might not be. The hotel staff assured us over the phone (we made sure they were actually at the hotel) that a room for 5, with appropriate bedding, would be ready. Upon arrival and check in to our room, there was only enough for 3 or 4 (1 double bed and sleeper sofa). They were able to make it right with a second similar room on the same floor, but it wasn't what we requested or double checked in with them about.

The room didn’t look like the pictures posted. The lobby was nice but everything outside of that looked out dated and worn out. The tv in the bedroom area kept freezing up . The toilet was leaking so every time someone would use it there would be water on the floor. The bed didn’t even have fitted sheets or a comforter. I paid almost $600 for a mediocre room. Not pleased at all. The staff was probably the best thing in there. They were very nice and polite outside the staff and lobby I would recommend ppl to stay here. It really needs an upgrade

Room was super clean with some updates. Tv isn’t smart tv so only cable is your only option. Enjoyed stay however, my bed that I had in my room was slopped n worn on one side of mattress so it was a little uncomfortable. Possibly just my room but it was an overall good stay.

I gotta say I would definitely recommend this Hotel and will book with them again if Im around chicago again. The room looks clean and VERY spacious with affordable price. It has heated pool and a gym. Also I paid extra to include the breakfast buffet during my visit which was worth it.

Yes, when I arrived after traveling all day all I wanted was a hot shower and it was from that when I got into the shower it was freezing cold and never warmed up.

The hotel was clean, inviting and the staff was courteous. Unfortunately they have the skimpiest pillows I've ever seen. It was difficult to sleep on them. Also the sheets arent long enough to cover a king sized bed, do the bottom of the bed is weird.

The only thing good about this place is the Staff. The photos make it look nice and up to date, which is NOT the case. The hotel needs a serious upgrade and the buffet breakfast quality was awful. During our stay we had 2 room locations. We are a family of 4 and were placed in the 1st room on the 1st floor next to the staff door - it was the handicap room because they were fully booked (we had booked our stay 2 months in advance). The staff door was self-closing and slammed shut often, late into the evening and very early morning. At 5am the coffee smell permeated our 1st floor room so badly, we could not go back to sleep. The bathroom had no counter space or shelves for guest toiletries, and no fan to mitigate the hot showers - especially with the hotel bathrooms only having sliding barn doors. The A/C unit was not working for circulation, only the fan mechanism which did not help, and no windows opened. After night 1, due to the door slamming and A/C, we asked for another room and were moved to the 2nd floor. Same thing, no A/C, no bathroom fan, and little counter space to put toiletries, especially for 4 people. I called the front desk about the A/C unit and she said they turn off the A/C at a certain time of year due to outside temps. I told her there was zero circulation, the room was extremely stuffy, and there is no fan in the bathroom to help with the steam. I then asked for a floor fan, which was brought up to us. Overall terrible experience, aside from the staff.

Room was excellent, only negative experience was that I was cold in bed, they just had a sheet and light blanket. I guess they forgot summer was over. I found one extra blanket in the drawer but we needed two.

Visiting family. We have stayed at Hyatt Deerfield many times over the years and have always been very happy with the service.

Breakfast was a plus and the staff in the dining area was amazing. The room could have been cleaned better and more towels and bath cloths should have been left. I had to keep asking for an extra 2 towels and clothes for 4 people.

I was ver disappointed in the hotel. The room was very dark with little lighting. The shower had black mold growing along the glass. The towels were stained and threadbare. I expected better from the Hyatt.

The room was clean the cleaning crew were amazing but as to checking in I had called 3 hours before arriving after a 13 hr drive and asked if I have to book another night or can I just check in with a fee upon arriving and they said I can check in at 1 am for $100 or 5 am for $40 when I arrived they said I needed to book another night … almost didn’t stay there anymore but I was tired so instead of arguing I booked another night ..

The check in was very quick and I very impressed with the Lobby and main area. The reason I will not stay here again is because the bedding was the absolute worst. We had no comforter on either bed. Due to the fact thtat we didn't have something on the bed to keep us warm we had to turn the AC down so we wouldn't be too cold during the night. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable that our son just squeezed onto the tiny couch without pulling the bed out and also there wasn't any bedding (sheets) available to put on the sofa sleeper. The mattress on the sofa was pretty much a spring nightmare. The two main beds were very uncomfortable. My daughter who had just graduated from Basic training in the Navy that week was with us and we wanted to treat her to a wonderful night's sleep at a nice hotel... but, she said that it wasn't any better than the Navy bunk. How sad is that?! I usually don't leave comments on a business unless it is really bad because I understand that things happen and I do extend an amount of grace but I don't want another family to experience the same thing. We had stayed at a Holiday Inn Express nearer to the base the two nights before the graduation and we all wanted to return back to the Holiday Inn instead of staying at this hotel.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. Staff is very friendly. Housekeeping did a great job every day. We felt safe and comfortable. It’s a short drive from the nearest Metra station for an easy commute downtown.

Staff was really good. We checked in LATE and they were energetic and helpful. Only thing that I did NOT care for was that the bed was short-sheeted. King size bed didn't have a fitted sheet (not uncommon) but the flat sheet that was supposed to cover the mattress was short on the feet side. Called down to the front desk, they said they would leave a message for the housekeeping mgr. The next day, same thing; bottom sheet doesn't reach/cover the full length of the bed. Called down to front desk again and stated that it was short sheeted. He apologized and said he'd let housekeeping know. On the last night, it was the same. We did notice that there were EXTRA sheet at the head of the mattress. Not sure if housekeeping didn't know that it was short at the foot or not, but regardless, having exposed mattress for my feet wasn't great, but it is really a small complaint.

As a 4 star property, I expect better in-room coffee/tea options (eg unknown brand coffee and powder cream). The TV remote doesn't work very well (not the same brand as the TV). Other than that, I find the stay pleasant and the front desk friendly.

The rooms were cozy, spotless, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a busy weekend. The staff was exceptional—warm, welcoming, and attentive in every interaction. The dining facility was excellent, with both the food and service exceeding expectations. After attending the John Legend concert, returning to the hotel felt like coming to a home away from home. Kudos to the entire team at Hyatt Regency Deerfield for making the stay memorable. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend this hotel!

The property was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. The part that I did not like was that the front desk staff were not attentive or friendly in two encounters. Felt they were dismissive.

Convenient access off of the tollway. Close to Ravinia. Health room was better than I expected. Clean and modern facility.

Ants in our room. We were told by cleaning person that “it happens when people have food in their room” so we weren’t able to eat in our room at all or ants would immediately swarm the table. They sent a maintenance guy and his bug spray was broken and he didn’t have another one so he just left. At check in I told them I have an elderly grandmother with a walker and they proceeded to give us the absolute furthest room on the floor it was very hard for her to get there every time we left the hotel. Called for room service and they refused to deliver the food making random excuses like “it would be an up charge” when we said it was fine they would say “it’s going to take over an hour and a half but only 15-20 minutes if we go eat downstairs or pick it up”. The front desk guy offered me a discount for all the inconveniences but wouldn’t even tell me how much the discount was for. Over all one inconvenience after another the entire time we were there.

Best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel well worth the price well worth a stay well worth the visit. This is the place to stay.!!!!!

I needed a room for a couple of hours because of a cancellation flight and i am glad i chose this hotel. It was nice and clean the staff was helpful.

Hyatt Deerfield, Il is on its way to needing to be updated. Pieces out of our rooms door were missing but they just painted over the spots;one elevator out of three working and water pressure was very low. For a Hyatt it was disappointing.

It was clean and the room was convenient.

This hotel had very spacious rooms. My only complaint is that the walls in the hallways leading to the rooms were old and outdated. However, the room itself was very nice!

The rooms are clean and spacious, providing a comfortable place to rest after a long day. There’s a nearby authentic Mexican restaurant called Taco Vida. The area also has other good dining options, although I personally didn’t enjoy the ones at the hotel.

I really liked the bed area/ tv area configuration. I prefer my husband stay up late watching tv away from where I am sleeping. We both wake up happier!! The shower and sink in separate rooms is nice, too!

If you enjoy paying $8.00 for a bottle of water and a small bag of M&M's then this is the hotel for you! The facility itself is in desperate need of renovation to bring it up to par with other hotels in its price range. My check in experience was horrible and I wrote about that here so I won't expand on that much except to say that I received the wrong room type and nobody seemed to care. Over the last several years I have spent a lot of time in hotels and this is the first time I've felt compelled to write something since I have been satisfied with my subsequent stays at other venues. The one positive I can add is that despite my bed being a double instead of a king it was quite comfortable. Perhaps my expectations of Hyatt we're askew but regardless this was a low quality experience overall.

We booked this hotel because we had an early flight out of Ohare. About 15 minutes straight down I-290 will get you to the airport. The hotel is large, very clean, and above average. The price was good. Room was very clean and spacious and comfortable. Many dining options nearby. I would stay here again.

The worst experience in my life not recommended

Check in was easy and our room was ready early. Very nice, clean room. We had a king bed and sofa. Loved the layout of the room. It was a full hotel, but we could not hear other guests. Will definately return if on the area.

clean spacious hotel. I recommend and will be returning. We couldn't check in until 3pm which was a bit of a drab, but other than that, our stay was clean. nice. and comfy. tv needs to be updated tho as it is not a smart tv. only limited to cable.

Location is great. Right off the tollway. Room was nice, modern and well appointed but there wasn't enough lighting. At night, with all the lights on, the room just wasn't bright enough. The light that illuminated the bathroom mirror was on a very short auto timer and frustrating to have to keep turning it on. Shower and bathroom amenities were very nice. Bed comfortable. Early Saturday evening and throughout the night there was NO hot water! Couldn't shower that night. First call to the the front desk-was told it would be fixed in a half hour. An hour and half later I was told by someone else at the desk, it would be fixed in a half hour. It never was. Also, I asked the girl at the front desk to have housekeeping bring an extra set of bath towels to my room, before I left for the day on Friday. She wrote it down, but I never got the extra set of towels. The fitness room needs a complete re-fit. One machine was jury rigged with tape on the handles, and another machine had no pin for the weight stack. The free weights were falling apart-the set screws holding them together were loose and the weights were ready to fall off the handles. There was only one bench press. The air in the room was way too heavy and damp. No circulation at all. On a scale from 1-10, I can only give the hotel a 4.5-5.

I have stayed here before and it was been fine. The room size is nice and it is clean. Staff are very nice. My husband complained about the lack of good lighting in the room. It was quite dark.

This was our second time staying here. The rooms are spacious and clean and somewhat recently upgraded. The hotel itself could use some renovations and deep cleans.

The lady at the front desk was lovely - the hall ways to the rooms needs a lot of TLC it wasn't like a Hyatt to me - - more like a Howard Johnson motor lodge :( lots of thing that looked worn out and needed renovation or maintenance. Staff was nice. Spend more money on the inside of the hotel and make the hotel room doors look the part.
