The bed was listed as a queen, but it felt a bit small and firm for our preference. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Breakfast was also great, with a large selection of options that could satisfy even picky eaters. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again if we're in town.

The front desk staff are very helpful and courteous. Some rooms may feel slightly dated but nothing that ever made us question staying there. This is our 3rd family stay at this property in the past 6 months. The pool was warm and clean. The hot tub was just the right temp, maybe a tad hot for me, but others in our family really liked it. Pool towels were plentiful. Breakfast has a good hot and cold option variety and the staff keep everything stocked and clean. The omelets are pretty good as well. The happy hour has been different each time and overall its been definitely worth it if we happen to be at the hotel. Lots of stores and food options nearby and access to downtown Chicago! Highly recommend.

We only stayed overnight because it was a last minute booking ( delayed planes, traveling with a 2 and 5 year old, etc etc.) everything was clean and comfortable. I will say things did feel a bit outdated but nothing too crazy. The way the rooms are set up inside the building are cool. I gave this 4 stars because according to my husband, he couldn’t sleep because he felt something was watching him and it gave him an overwhelming sense of dread. Then the following morning my 2 year old comes to me and says “I scared” and points to the general area my husband felt he was being watched at. So that freaked me out and we ended up checking out hours earlier than needed. Then later my husband asked me to look up if anything happened at this hotel so i did and found that an 18 year old ended his life in this hotel. So i don’t know if those things are connected but it made me feel weird. Other than that, the hotel is decent.

My room had an issue with the thermostat that was promptly fixed. In the morning my toilet refused to flush but not a big deal as i was checking out anyways.

The Deerfield Embassy suites is consistently excellent. We love it have been there multiple times and always have a great experience.

I had a premium suite it was ok but the mattress on the king size was very hard to sleep on not comfortable. Also pillows was no good very flat. Also there isn’t a vent in the bathroom so when you take a shower it can clear out. Also for the room door switch if you have a toddler be sure to use the extra lock because the latch is so low to the floor the door can open easily. Also you need a fan in the rooms it can get extremely hot , there aren’t any ceiling fans . Toilet sits very low , and can need some updating in the rooms. Elevators need to be serviced kind of noisy, and slow . Did enjoy the location and free parking. They also had breakfast and dinner available . Also drinks were available too downstairs . Try to stay on the upper level less noise compare to the lower level. Guest service and the maids were very nice and welcoming.

This room was perfect for our family as we dropped my son off for bootcamp. We utilized the happy hour and lounge space to hang out, eat and play games. The room was spacious and clean. The esthetic of the hotel was very nice!! The breakfast was good. The pool area is nice. I highly recommend this hotel for whatever your travel plans are.

I was a chef for 20* years and I must say this is ABSOLUTE GEM! Excellent customer service is rare these days so when I receive it I am extremely grateful. The staff here is extraordinarily amazing and gracious. Very helpful and always met with a smile - made me feel welcomed & at home - but even better. The food is amazing, especially the complimentary breakfast - in particular the custom made omelettes - Chef Isabella is the best! (Tip her well!). Vey accommodating and takes extra care of her guests. Front desk staff as well are super friendly in particular Steve & Lydia. Well done! Keep up the great work and excellence in customer experience!

The staff in the cafeteria such as Isabel was so professional about her cooking and presenting the plate of food I requested when it came to “choose your style” for eggs. Also this was my second time choosing this hotel because my first experience was also great!!

The hotel was nice the staff were very helpful. Driving in was a little nerve racking cause the roads were a little bumpy coming in but understand the construction that was taking place so we understand but it was still very inconvenient

The hotel was 5 star, clean room, wonderful breakfasts, but most of all a GREAT STAFF! Everyone was always very nice & accommodating for your every need. The lady in charge of breakfast area, Irma, was on top of cleaning serving and anticipating what you needed. She would go over and above the call of duty. Putting tables together, directing other staff that had questions. She was AMAZING!!! Also our room attendant Daisy was very good, making sure room was clean & restocked with all needs.

We had a wonderful stay! Highly recommended. Older hotel, but it’s fairly clean. Our room’s carpet could have had a cleaning, but that’s honestly my only complaint.

Our first room was very dirty and the head board was completely broken from the wall. I brought this to the attention of management and they promptly moved us to an upgraded room that was very clean. I appreciated the quick resolution. The complimentary cooked hot breakfast and omelette station was also very nice.

The rooms were spacious and clean. We were there for the swimming pool/spa area for our three young grandchildren. The pool area was large, clean, and warm- which was a concern for late February. We were thrilled that the breakfast buffet was open until 10AM on the weekends. I could go down and get coffee and then wait for my grandchildren to sleep until about 8:30 and then we'd all go to breakfast around 9AM. The selection of food at breakfast was a great assortment and filled the needs for all ages in our group. In the evening the hotel offered 2 free alcohol drinks and light snacks from 5:30 - 7PM which my husband and I enjoyed both nights we were there. There was not anything we didn't like.

My boyfriend and i have stayed at this hotel 3 times and each time we love it. We are a long distance couple and for our last visit (for our anniversary) i booked the same room we first got when we first met. This is a very special place for us. They are very kind and helpful. We highly recommend this place as it is a second home for us♡ we are about to move in together back in Texas but will be returning the next time we visit Illinois♡ thank you guys for everything and for being so amazing.

Staff was helpful, provided extra towels, pillows and paper plates when requested and answered all of our questions. Omelette bar was excellent and chefs were kind. Pull out bed was disappointing, thankfully 11 year old son is not picky. Mattress was thin and we could feel springs through it. Double beds were not comfortable, thankfully we were in late and out early so we spent minimal time in them. Not as clean as I thought it would be. Hairs in comforter upon arrival, corners of bathtub dirty (in tub and outside). It would be nice to be able to log into streaming services.

Number one, ALL staff were SOOO super welcoming, pleasant and helpful! Constant and REAL smiles! :)) The room was clean and spacious, the pool was warm, the FREE breakfast was AMAZING; my favorite was the made-to-order omelets sausage and French toast! The area is very safe and there are lots of different choices for food delivery. Additionally, the in-house restaurant was fantastic! Would absolutely stay again and 💯 recommend to any an everyone!

Pool and jacuzzi was very very small. We bought suits to swim but decided not to because there was a bunch of kids with floats screaming and splashing taking the the entire pool since it wasn't very big to begin with. Buffet breakfast was nice tho.

Rooms were outdated and dusty and darker than preferred. They lady at the front desk was reluctant I give us bottle water even though the rooms did not have any. Service was underwhelming and not welcoming.

We had a wonderful experience at Embassy Suites during our stay for our sailor’s Navy graduation. The customer service was excellent—everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the evening happy hour is always a nice bonus! The location is perfect too—only about a 25-minute drive to Great Lakes Naval Base. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting for graduation or just looking for a comfortable, friendly place to stay.

The building

My rental car was vandalized over night at this t hotel. (catalytic converter was stolen) Hilton refunded one night of my stay, but i was still left with $350 insurance deductible. The hotel cited "Park at your own risk" and closed the case. Isn't safe parking at the hotel something we expect? This property is located next to abandoned buildings and has no security cameras. Multiple cars were vandalized that night. Definitely an unsafe location. I expected better guest support from a major brand. Sharing this so others are aware of the parking risk and limited follow-through. PARK AT YOUR OWN RISK

Location of the hotel is close to busy highway, so the room you get might have the same issue.Too noisy for us.

Best breakfast with the best staff

Love the made to order breakfasts with huge variety of things to pick from. If you can’t find something you’re too picky. The evening manager reception also nice added feature with 2 free drinks/person and they had different appetizers with that every night. The staff was all working very hard and everyone we encountered were very pleasant. No complaints about anything!

3 issues. Small fruit flies in bar & high top areas several days. Also fruit flies at breakfast table area. #2) Dogs allowed at eating tables? Yorkshire terrier with older couple at breakfast with dog on lap at table is disgusting. #30 Limited hotel info because of video TV / poor Remote controls. Difficult to navigate this system.

The room bathroom needed a deeper clean in the shower/tub. The area around the hotel was overgrown with weeds and vacant commercial buildings.

Room was not ready until 5pm. Had to ask for the premier room snacks and drinks after gettng to room. There is mold above the bathroom doir and in the shower.

Thieves attempted to steal my car's catalytic converter in the hotel parking lot (they cut out the wrong section). Thousands of dollars in damage. I recommend staying somewhere with a more secure lot, or at least cameras.

We had the nosiest room and asked to be moved. Without looking at her computer the front desk said she didn’t have anything available. One another shift started that had no problem finding a quieter room. Then our toilet overflowed. Maintenance was fast but housekeeping had to be called 3 times. When the man arrived, he threw a towel on the floor and with his foot wiped the peed water dry. Without soap or any cleaning solution. He did say it was perfect as he walked out the door.

The first room I was given was 220. It was musty and moldy smelling. I asked the front desk to give me a new room and he did. No apology or anything just switched rooms. The second room was fine but a little dated, especially the bathroom.

The housekeeping staff wasn't very friendly. I stayed for 4 nights and had to request twice for them to clean my room. The second time I requested, the room attendant only took out the garbage and changed some of the towels. I kept the DND on for the remainder of my stay. Didn't want to deal with the staff anymore after that.

Great stay! Good hot breakfast, nice hot tub, plenty of parking. Rooms were clean quiet. Lobby can be a little loud on a busy evening. We would stay here again if in the area!

Everything was awesome! The staff were super nice and made my stay very enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel.

Bathroom smelled like old rag cleaning piss. Needs bleach cleaner. Swimming pool had hair extensions floating about. Gross . Pool needs better attention.

The rooms are a nice size with comfy mattresses. The inclusion of breakfast is always a nice feature. The variety of food options allows something for everyone. I love the options for egg preparations, including the made-to-order omelets.

It would be perfect stat if the staff didn’t ignore my request to clean the room last day of my stay

This was a very good bargain. Enjoyed the free breakfast and happy hour . Everyone was very courteous and accommodating.

Easy and easy out good night sleep

No ice available, too busy at counter to pay for water bottle, put in handicapped room by lobby that smelled like cigarette smoke. Kids running up and down halls and stairs, kids in jaccuzi splashing us, teen banging on my door at 145 am.

This hotel offers a great and friendly staff with free parking as well as free breakfast.

The double beds were so small. It was like sleeping in a twin bed. The room need to be upgraded.

I will give this hotel av4 rating but not the room. Too dark for me.

Love the floorplan of a 2 room suite with 2 queen beds and sofa sleeper. TV desperately needs upgrade to let guests login to their streaming accounts. Your premium brand is decades behind even discount hotel chains.

The hotel lobby was very nice but the room was very dark. The reason for staying there was to get away from home. But the room made wanting to go home. I had to turn on every light in the setting area to lighten up the room. It didn’t even help. I was supposed to stay another night but I didn’t. That’s another story.

The three rooms we were in first were dirty stains on carpet and smelled of urine.

Check in early and everything went well. Room was big and spacious. Only complaint was the bathroom had a moldy smell but nothing too extreme. Overall hotel was nice and breakfast was excellent!

Hotel was difficult to see from the road. Higher more visible signage would help. Still it was in a good location geographically. We were there for Navy Boot Camp graduation. Accommodations were great. Breakfast was great. Omelettes were made to order as usual with Embassy Suites. The food at the main restaurant for evening meals was excellent. Food was worth the price even at Hotel rates. Staff was cordial and very helpful. Overall the experience was wonderful.

Very clean, big rooms, friendly staff

Staff was just ok, nothing special. You can tell its an older hotel but they have kept it up nicely. The breakfast was abundant and good. The beds were comfortable. Really no complaints but nothing made them stand out either.

Great bed comfort and room space. Onsite food options were just right with plenty of menu options. Amenities and offerings during happy hour was a bonus! Note not enough outlets in premium suites.

My check in was a smooth process! Rick was attentive and greeted us warmly. Once we settled in our room we checked out the complimentary happy hour and received a drink and snacks. I really enjoyed the movie channel options and the breakfast the next morning. Yum yum yummy!

I stay at this property for business. It seems in the last few years it has become a family vacation spot. There were crying babies, dogs barking and my neighbors were up late giggling and laughing. I think it would be helpful to have a business floor for those that need to get some shut eye.

Service was above average. From the moment we arrived until the day we left we were treated with kindness and great hospitality. The breakfast was awesome and the restaurant food and service was better than most. Rooms are nice and clean. Very pleasant experience.

Loved the size of the suites. Very comfortable for a family of 4. Didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast as it didn’t start until 7 on the weekends and we had to be out of the hotel before that both mornings we were there. They have a great lobby but you are not allowed to have outside food or beverages in the lobby. That was kind of disappointing as we usually like to order take out and hang out in the lobby after games.

Property was great but the broken down office buildings in front wasn’t too appealing

Breakfast was good as always. Hotel room was not clean, trash left in room as well as a dirty sock. The hotel room was very warm as well as the outside of the room.

Irma, Isabel, estrella were great, however my stay wasn’t the best. The pictures did not match at all to our room. It is very outdated. The pool area extremely slippery. It is a hazard for kids. My kids and I slipped several times

Breakfast was wonderful, and cocktails were nice. But the nibbles that were put out to go with drinks were pretty pathetic.

Some how our room both of bed still having hair on it.

Staff was friendly. Loved that they continue to have housekeeping daily when so many other hotels aren’t offering it daily anymore. I wish breakfast went until 10a everyday and the restaurant was open for lunch. Managers reception was nice nightly

Bathroom is outdated

Everything was ok except the pillows on the bed. OMGOODNESS they were horrible. The bed wasn't comfortable at all. Even the sofa bed was horrible. You guys need to put money into the beds. Everything else was amazing!! I recommend but bring pillows.

We really enjoyed the stay at Embassy Suite. The atmosphere was excellent, we had great time there. The only thing that was not perfect was the A/C system. It was not cooling down enough in the living area. The hotel gave us two fans at the first day and fixed the issue the next day. We are very happy with the result. We will definitely book Embassy Suite in the future.

Suite front room reeked of cat piss and front desk explained hotel is pet-friendly. Moldy caulk in shower. Portable fans scattered throughout hallways to deal with musty rooms.Digital key never worked. Staff was friendly and helpful though.
