    Great location, the mall, Walmart, Sam's and numerous of places to eat all within 2 to 15 minutes way. The staff was really nice and helpful as we needed to checkin early and they were able to provide. I wish the pool could have been located inside, but a great place to stay. If I ever need to visit Douglasville again, definitely will stay here.

    I had to ask another guest in the elevator. If you’re not looking you it is possible to overlook the signs. No one was at the front desk when I needed to ask a question while downstairs. The breakfast was decent and fulfilling. The parking with food and the rooms were nice.

    IT WAS CLEAN AND THE ROOM WAS COMFORTABLE. WAS CENTRALLY LOCATED TO SHOPPING AND FOOD. There was an off-putting odor when you walked in through the back door area. I also wish the breakfast lasted a little longer and offered more variety.

    The staff was super! The first room we were assigned had a very disturbing odor. We thought it might’ve been something in the carpet. We even drove to Walmart to get some Lysol spray. Spraying the entire room, bed & carpet didn’t help so we asked them if we could change rooms. They apologized for the bad smells & switched out our room without hesitation.

    Traveled with husband to visit daughter and kids. Staff was great and fast to help. Beds comfortable, breakfast good for typical complementary breakfast, pool was nice and big. Only BIG complaint is the lobby had a horrible odor. Maybe mold. Something needs done as it was bad!!!

    BREAKFAST IS DECENT BUT CAN USE MORE FOOD ITEMS LIKE BACON GRITS AND OATMEAL. AT LEAST ON THE WEEKENDS, SATURDAYS AND SUNDAYS. BATHROOM FLOOR WAS STILL DIRTY, RUG IN ROOM IS DIRTY, NO PHONE SERVICES AND ONCE YOU FIRST WALK INTO BUILDING, IT HAS A MOLD SMELL.

    I can't say enough good things about the employees and the facility, it was clean and very comfortable. I am a priority club member and I have stayed next door at the Holiday inn, this hotel is far better. And it's pet friendly. The breakfast lacked variety and flavor. The sausage was not really like meat and the eggs were scorched. I had to ask for coffee every time because it was always empty.

    I have stayed here several times in the past and it was great. Even with the pets being allowed. During this stay the hotel had an odd smell. It was a wet laundry smell that lingered. We smelled it upon our arrival and smelled it still when we checked out. I was also disappointed with the breakfast. On weekends the breakfast is usually good. This time I was presented with cold muffins (which would have been much better if I had a microwave to arm them in) no biscuits to go along with the eggs and sausage, no sawmill gravy. You guys just let me down this time.

    Pros: This hotel had a good breakfast, friendly staff, clost to everything you need as far as food and shopping. Cons: the room was fine but had a light smell like someone had a pet in it.( maybe they can designate certain rooms for guest with pets). Other than that this is our go to place to stay.     I was careful to ask for a handicapped room with pull bars and walk in shower. I’m on a wheelchair so that’s very important. 1st night all they had was a standard room . I had already paid and done in advance. It was unacceptable. Moved the 2nd night pull bars but not a walk in shower as promised. Bed was terrible. We checked out before the last night. Unreal the lack of care and attention. I will never stay in this brand hotel again.

    The room was very clean and smelled good the staff was kind our mini fridge was broken but they replaced it quickly and was friendly about it, breakfast was awesome! Only thing I didn’t like was u can hear people in the hall way in your room but, it wasn’t a issue because there wasn’t to many people at the time of our stay and no one was super noisy I would deft recommend this hotel! I would stay there again! Also great location right next to Walmart and Cracker Barrel and Waffle House and other restaurants we felt safe the entire time!!

    The staff was very friendly and accommodating, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, our original room had a large number of ladybugs flying around, making it uncomfortable to stay in. Because of this, we had to pack up all of our belongings and move to another room. While the second room was an improvement, it still had ladybugs present, just not as many as the first room. Overall, the staff handled the situation well, but the issue with the insects negatively impacted our stay.

    Although the staff was very nice, the quality of the hotel felt like a motel. The popcorn ceiling, the lack of cleanliness in the room, the sticky room telephone, and the dust on the carpets really made my allergies act up. And they don’t hold your luggage which was disappointing.

    The door didn’t feel secure. Rattled every time someone went out the stairwell. The tile floors were dirty, made me question the carpet cleanliness. Kept my feet covered. The people across the hall were arguing, playing loud music and slamming their door often all hours of the late night and early morning. I complained to the front desk with little relief. I checked out two days early. Won’t be staying there again.

    The smell in the lobby is so bad. This was my second stay and the first time I thought maybe it was the mop water or the carpet got wet. It was just as bad the second stay. The hotel is nice and so are the rooms but I may need to look for other options. You can’t even enjoy the breakfast with the odor.

    Overall, the hotel was clean and updated. The hotel had a musty odor in different places. I’m not sure if all rooms allow pets, but we did not bring any animals and we were assigned a room that had pet dander, which affected our allergies and a strong urine smell in the carpet (room 407). The room was mostly clean, but we did find a hair on the sheet and on the tub. Other than that, it was a nice hotel and the front desk staff was very friendly.

    Check in was easy. One of the elevators was broken down so you had to wait on one that everybody used. Rooms were clean other than some mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. There was also a lot of popcorn ceiling (which as long as you don’t touch the asbestos, it should be fine). Nearby neighborhoods appeared on the rougher side. Nearby Walmart needed security.

    My check in late Wednesday into Thursday was great. Room was clean. I did notice an earring back was made up in between the sheets. After a day out on Friday we came back to the hallway carpet flooded with water right infront of our room. Upon entering the room the water had reached the hall inside and half of the bathroom floor. There was water leaking from the ceiling overtop of our 1 window with the heating system on it. I went to the front desk and reported the flooding & asked for towels to get up the water. Another person staying said the flood originated on his 5th floor so for it to be a huge water flood spot on ground level there was something seriously wrong going on. Around 9:30pm a man came around to check the room he opened the heater up messed with something closed it back up & left. The floor by the window was wet so we had to move our stuff away. Saturday I went morning before we left I went to the clerk & asked if cleaning could please clean our room & made sure the do not disturb sign was off the door. We returned that night to an unclean room. I was told from the first incident we would be discounted in charges due to the flooding & now another issue. Sunday morning the bathroom sink was leaking underneath. I have yet to see any discount or refund the stay was charged in full. Horribly managed and a huge inconvenience.

    There was a couple dozen lady bugs in my room. The first day the maintenance man came and collected them. The second day I found more lady bugs and a roach. Staff did nothing but jot down my room number. My stay was ruined by paranoia of taking home insects. Will never stay here or another La Quinta ever again.

    Staff was exceptionally friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was hot and delicious. The hotel was undergoing renovations and the front entrance door could not be used. This reduced the number of handicapped parking spaces. Thus making us walk a farther distance to enter and leave the building. The renovations look quite nice.

    I have stayed at this same hotel MULTIPLE times now because we loved it so much…. This time? Not so much. First issue, there were boogers caked to the wall of our shower. Like 5 of them. Luckily I brought Clorox wipes with us. I cleaned what I found but I found more the morning of check out. Second, the shower drain didn’t work right. Every time we used the shower, it took 20 min before the water drained so it could be used again. Third, I needed a blanket on night two, the front desk didn’t have any. Fourth, the housekeeping. I appreciate them being on top of things BUT they came by at 9 am each day. On day 2, we needed some towels and garbage bags, the woman didn’t speak enough English to even be able to give me those things. On our 3rd morning (day of check out), once again 9am BUT SHE DIDNT EVEN KNOCK! She just swiped her key card and attempted to enter the room with us still in it. Check out isn’t even until 11! Luckily we had the top lock on so she couldn’t get in but she didn’t knock, didn’t announce herself, nothing. Just swiped her card and attempted entry. I even tried to speak with two different front desk attendants, they “took notes” but nothing else. I’m not saying we should be comped but this visit was ridiculous and idk if we will be back any time soon. They definitely need to get their housekeepers trained properly.

    Service workers didn’t engage when saying Hello, etc. when checking out, the desk clerk walked away as we approached the desk. Floors in hallways were not clean. TV remote in room didn’t work properly. Elevator inspection certificates (both elevators) were expired by 3 months (expired 07/2025). Makes me wonder what else is expired or not up to code.

    Requested a cot, but then they stated they did not have any. Also, asked for a toothbrush, the night shift staff said they didnt have any. However, only a few hours later in the morning I asked a new staff member and she gave me one without an issue. The hotel smelled awful. Not sure if it was animals or what, but definitely reeked of weed. Not great for a family stay.

    Very clean and comfortable hotel. The location is great because it is nearby a shopping plaza so you can get anything you need. We are visiting Atlanta but do not want to spend triple the money finding a hotel there. The morning commute to Atlanta is 30-50 minutes depending on the traffic.

    Really I was pleasantly surprised by everything about this property. One thing in particular: it’s not a large hotel. Everything on the property is really easy to access. And although I didn’t bring my pet, it’s obviously pet-friendly. It’s a bit of a drive into Atlanta, but we were mostly in the vicinity outside the city, so it was perfect for us.

    However, my only complaint is about the elevators. One of them made a loud knocking noise while going up, which made me nervous especially considering the elevator inspection sticker on the wall shows it was past due. The second elevator had a missing button, so to get to the second floor, you had to stick your finger inside the panel to press it. That felt really unsafe and hazardous. Aside from that, everything else about the hotel was great.

    The pictures give the impression that it’s a newer hotel—it’s not. We got there at 11 pm and there was a homeless man digging through the trash at the front entrance and stared at us as we unloaded everything from our car. We were on the tail end of a 10 day trip and had only planned on bringing in necessities but given the homeless guy and the other 3 random people roaming the parking lot, we brought in everything. The room we got first only slept two people and we have 4 and the bathroom of the second room was filthy—my shoes stuck to the tile like in dirty restaurants. My oldest said she wasn’t eating breakfast there based on the condition of the room. We happened to be driving through when the All Star game was in town so it was one of the only options but, had it not been so late, we would’ve kept driving.

    Vagrants were searching through the trash bins of the hotel entrance. The room had been broken into causing the lock to be broken off the door with no way to lock the door. People wandered the hallway late at night banging on the door at 4:30am. The room key disabled before checkout of 11am locking us out of our room & hotel. The atmosphere was unsafe and uncertain of break-in or theft.

    As much as I hate to make a bad review since we stay at this hotel each time we come to Atlanta on a 6 hour drive to go to Winship Cancer at Emory every 6 months for the last 2 years, for my daughters scans and oncology visit,here I go. This time my sister drove her to ATL for her apt as I was unable to. They got in to the hotel a bit late after a long day at Emory, and soon when right to bed. It wasnt until the next morning that they BOTH found dried blood and men's beard hair all over and in BOTH beds. My daughter is immuno compromised, so this was more than upsetting. Unwashed, bloody, hairy sheets were slept on by both of them unbeknownest to them. The manager and supervisor both refused to call me back. I paid for this hotel stay, I do every time. The booking was in my name, they took my money and REFUSED to communicate with me. After 2 years of consistently staying at this location, we will never again. So very, very disappointed. I will be going to corporate offices due to their refusal to communicate with me about this matter. They did go immediately to clean the room and change the disgusting sheets, but that does not make up for this, at all.

    The hotel is a pet friendly one & it seemed liek there had been a dog in my room prior to me staying. I could smell the dog everytime i came back into my room. I do not mind the hotel offering pets to stay with their owners on vacation. I think they should have certain rooms for it.

    After checking into the room and then going to the room, we seen our room was not even cleaned after the prior guest! We went back to the desk and reported this and they could not give us another room because the hotel was fully booked and told us we can go to another hotel in the area. First off, all the hotels in the area WERE FULLY BOOKED, second off we had 6 other rooms that were booked with our party so we couldn’t move hotels! There was no housekeeping available to clean the room so we were stick to clean and strip our own room!! The front desk clerk Carol was rude and racist. Did not speak to ANY minorities that came in, did not assist in anything!! She works in a customer service agency, you can not act like that! We have to now go through the process our selves to get a full refund for this stay!

    We arrived in town after midnight, the front desk worker was not very cordial or welcoming. The building looked nice, but it had a horrible, musty smell. When we got into the room, it smelled like piss. I booked at this hotel because they had a pool for my kids, but it wasn't open even though it was after Memorial Day and warm outside. I would have chosen another hotel if I had known the pool wasn't open. On a positive note, the breakfast was great, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was nice, but I don't think we will stay there again.

    Everything was great overall. The breakfast was excellent. There were actually two small problems. The ice machine on the first floor was out of order and the drain plug in the tub was broken, my wife likes a bath.

    My room was very clean and nice. The staff was nice and pleasant. There was a little remodeling going on, so dust and dirt was tracked throughout the halls. The elevator was very slow and needed upkeep, like clean the floors and a good wipe down.

    Very happy with room, loved having my dog with me, I requested bottom floor when I booked, wasn’t given bottom floor, however lady who checked me in was accommodating and very nice and found a ground floor room. Would like special request acknowledged when I book. But awesome stay and great breakfast bar
