    Guests should have been sent an email about the extent of the renovations and given the opportunity to go elsewhere. Extension cords out the front door not taped down - tripping hazard, third floor rug that has many areas that are stretched- tripping hazard for an 80 year old guest. Parking was impacted, had to hip check our door to get it to open. Woken up by renovation work on a Saturday morning, tub creaked, no fan in bathroom, only one drawer and one luggage rack for two people. Overall not a great experience and they never called to respond to my feedback as promised.

    The room was nice and clean but the rest of the hotel was under construction and messy. It also impacted the quality of the breakfast, they ran out of sausage and bacon before 9.00am. I understand renovations need to be done but I think the Hotel could mention this at the time of booking. If we had known we would booked elsewhere to avoid the inconvenience.

    The rooms were a good size, and the beds were comfy as well. The location was nice as there are many options for dinner, we had some pizza delivered and were even able to walk to a gas station for some drinks! Beyond the construction which is fine, the hotel is located right next to train tracks which was a surprise upon arrival. Also, the water never got hot for showers so that was inconvenient. We were offered to move to another room but at that point it was 8:30pm, we were settled with two kids and it seemed more of a hassle than anything to move that late when we were leaving the following morning. Also the breakfast was in an odd room and was not great at all. The sausage didn’t seem cooked, the eggs were watery, and the milk for cereal was warm. We grabbed a banana for my son and then opted to go to Starbucks that was close by for breakfast and coffee instead.

    Unfortunately, the hotel is under renovations, so I feel this is a bad time to review. However, the check-in staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Due to the renovations, it wasn't as clean as I would have liked to see in a hotel of this price. My room was clean and comfortable but the common areas were a bit of a mess. They have a hot breakfast but the breakfast staff were not staying on top of the things that were empty. Instead, I often saw them restocking things that didn't need it yet, while travelers were waiting for the waffle mix or juice to be refilled. After 15 minutes, they still had not refilled what was reported to them as being empty. Not very good customer service in that regard. Good location and fairly quiet.

    We got 4 rooms with 18 people . One off the rooms had food left over in the fridge and bathroom was dirty. One other room had food on thd sheets looked like pizza sauce. And another room the air conditioning didnt work. We asked to be moved rooms and they said they couldnt accomadate that. We reserved a few months ago. Very unhappy will not stay here again.

    Check-in person completely unwilling to try to find two rooms near each other for a family of four. We called in the morning, he just said sorry we're full. When we checked in the effort level was the same. Hotel dirty and gross. Under renovation, so maybe it will get better but burning it down and starting over might be a better plan.

    They overbooked my room type and gave me a downgraded room without telling me. I had to contact the front desk to tell them that I paid for a premium room not standard. Had to wait until the next day to speak with assistant manager to have them refund the difference between room prices and for the hassle gave 10k member points. However, I have never had these issues with their nearby competitors, so don't plan on returning

    The room was okay. I don't like the fact that you have switched from regular soap and shampoo/conditioner to dispensers that are in the shower. The young man who checked us in on 12/24 around 2:00 pm (don't know his name) was not very friendly or professional. However later the gentlemen who was on the next shift was very good.

    The toilet has a bad leak. We were moved to a room which was much smaller than the one we paid for. I was told we could take the smaller room or go back to the room with the leak. Because we had several people in our group we needed the larger room. I was told the manager would be contacting me to compensate me for the disruption and I never got a call.

    We chose this hotel because of how close it was to the base. We got there after a long 6 hour flight from GA at 2:50pm wanting to check in a little early. Check in was for 3pm. The front staff lady was super sweet but let me know unfortunately our room wouldn't be available until closer to 4pm. So we had to go find something to do for about an hour with incredibly tired children. We got back to the hotel close to 5pm. Room is ready. Drop off our bags. The bathroom was dirty. My kids were ready to crash so I said okay we'll ask them to clean the bathroom tomorrow while we were out. Got up the next morning, had breakfast which had alot of options so that was a win. The breakfast lady wasn't very friendly and slightly rude when asked a question. Then left for the day.Came back that night and Nope they never cleaned the room at all despite asking. We ended up having to shower at our families home, kinda stinks when you're paying for a hotel room. We also had to use the main bathrooms ih the hall. The rug in the main hallway leading to the room was bunched up. I got tripped up over that too many times to count,front desk guy was rude when we mentioned it. He also made fun of my husband's military hoodie and yelled at our 7 year old son for shaking his hands dry because there wasnt any paper towels. All in all the price was fine, breakfast good. Staff could use a lesson in manners and the rooms could be cleaner. Ill pick somewhere else next time. This experience wasn't enjoyable.

    BUT THEN the bathroom was gross and dirty--the toilet area smelled like old, dry urine and the shower had grime caked up around the edges. Considering the price for two humans for one night (excluding the unconscionable dog fee), we certainly had the impression this would be a slightly more comfortable experience. The late night front desk staff was absolutely phenomenal. Thomas was a delight, and he even cheerfully delivered a blow dryer to our room at midnight (since apparently that's not a standard thing at this hotel).

    This hotel was by far the best we stayed in over the course of a week and 5 different locations! Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. There was some statists noise, but nothing that could’ve been controlled by staff. The area is easy access and very nice also. It’s a nice spot to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but still have quick access.

    Everything was great, but we could not sleep well because of the weird AC system. AC system has a motion detector, so it shuts off after 15 -20 minutes if no motion in the room, so it runs well as long as you move around in the room, but once you are in bed then it shuts off :(:( it was a hot day, and I had to get up from the bed and move around for few minutes every hour to get AC activated, so I had an interrupted sleep and felt groggy at the morning. That system is very disturbing indeed.

    The hotel was slightly outdated but clean overall. Continental breakfast was not satisfactory, worse we’ve had from other hotel stays, could hear people stomping in the room above us when trying to go to sleep late at night, parking lot was full of shipping containers, so absolutely no parking (had to park at adjacent hotel, which was inconvenient). Beds were okay, bathroom was basic, and staff was mediocre.

    The property is currently under renovations so parking was crowded with lots of storage bins in the parking lot. We stayed 2 nights and they did not service our room to make our beds or refresh the towels. I let the frontdesk person know and he was not helpful stating that they only service every other day and I should have been notified the day of check in. I believe that if there is a two night reservation they should have at lease come in with fresh towels and made our beds. Not full service but some service otherwise we would have chosen a VRBO. Overall I usually like staying at a Hampton Inn this experience was less than our normal expectations.

    The outside is definitely looking worn. They are doing some sort of remodeling so I'm guessing that will help. Parking spots are fewer due to storage containers for construction taking up stalls farther out from the hotel. The stuff is really friendly and you are close to Dupont gate at JBLM

    A 1 night stay for us. The room was huge! plenty of room for our family. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Our son who slept on the pullout couch said he could feel the springs in the mattress all night. The breakfast was good and had many choices - waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and all the typical breads/pastries and fruits. The pool hours were 10 - 10 and we arrived at approx 9:30pm so it was tough to get a swim in for the kids in the morning but the pool was heated so it was a nice swim. Staff was friendly.

    Our room was pretty dirty upon our arrival with empty containers, cans bottles, wrappers, etc... underneath tables, chairs, beds. We were there for five nights, requested room service on three different days because they never showed up to do it and they never did do it. Had to go down to the front desk after coming in one day at 11:00PM just to get clean towels and toilet paper. There was something going on in the parking lot. There were a bunch of storage containers and one night we had to park almost a quarter mile away because there were no spaces available in the motel lot... When we mentioned this to the front desk they just kind of said, oh well... The overall condition of the property and the room, aside from being dirty, was fairly nice... I've stayed at several Hamptons and will seek them out, when they're available in vicinity of our travel, but I would not return to this one!!!

    We really enjoyed our stay here. This was our second time staying at this hotel. Overall the experience was great. The only thing I would say negative is the bathroom tub wouldn't drain. We told the front desk. They said they would send someone to fix it, but it didn't get fixed. We had to watch to make sure the water didn't overflow when showering.

    We came down to DuPont to escape the fireworks war zone that our street turns into every July 4th. This was a perfect 2-day getaway. So many positives: dog friendly, super comfortable beds and pillows, great, responsive, helpful, friendly staff, a pool (we didn't swim but we could have) and even a decent gym - dumbbells up to 50 lbs, two adjustable benches and a double cable rack, plus a lot of cardio equipment. There is a Starbucks, a Subway and and teriaki place place across the street. And: no fireworks!

    I used to frequent this property a lot years ago and never had an issue. Until this last time. I booked through Expedia per usual. Check in was 3pm we got there about 4pm. Room was not available yet as it was still “dirty” according to front desk. She said it would be 20-30 min. I said okay. Waited patiently for over an HOUR for our room we booked in advance. When we walked in they did clean it but the noticeable damage to the walls, dirty chairs, water stains on wall, shower squirted everywhere but center mass. The beds were very comfy and it is a safe area which we appreciated. But our stay could have been 10x better.

    One of the rooms that I booked was missing a shower curtain and the bedsheet was filthy. Although the other room that I booked was fine. The room service staff with carts were congregating at the elevator area, blocking usage of the elevators. Breakfast area was small and not that neat and food was not replenished.

    The staff weren’t friendly at all to check in. The room was filthy. Wall was dirty and whole room doesn’t feel clean. The couch and furniture was bad condition. Bathroom was tiny and toilet has a lot of scratches so, it looks like dirty. The tub was squeaking every steps we took. There were some sort of fluids or stains on the ceiling and curtain. The breakfast was very bad quality and the person who serve was rude.

    The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well tended and had a larger selection. The toaster was too small for the bread, so you had to take it out and put it in upside down to get the whole piece toasted. There was some highway noice, but did not keep us up. A nice straight shot to the airport.

    We had a wonderful time and we loved your indoor heated pool I mean the water was so nice and warm we loved it. We just wish the pool would be open 8am to 10pm not 10am to 10pm. We had a grandparent weekend with our wonderful grandchildren. We were very happy with our stay there.

    Hotel was safer and nicer than other options in this area, but room had something sticky on the rug and the door was broken. Hotel manager (Rosanna?) said she would credit part of the cost of the room because they were renting it at a lower rate until door was fixed, but did not reply when I contacted hotels.com, leaving me paying the full rate. Breakfast pool and laundry were good but not amazing, but big issue was the room itself and failure to follow through on promised discount.

    Horrible bed and we had a suite. It may have been the hardest bed I have slept on. Breakfast was mediocre at best. It took a very long time for an employee to come to the front desk to check us in. Needed a wipe down in the bathroom and bathtub.

    It was really nice! My fog loved it here! The pool was so warm and wonderful ! Wish they were open later! But it was fun being only people in the pool! That was awesome! Everything was wonderful! Would come back anytime!

    The only problem we had was that there was no remote for the TV when I got to the room. I called the front desk and they I could come and get one. I did but it didn't work. They offered to change my room but said that several rooms the TV remote wasn't working so I elected not to move rooms. I could watch tv but had to go the the screen and push buttons on the screen and you could only change 1 channel at a time so several times I had to push the right button many times to get the channel I wanted. It was just inconvenient but that is why I couldn't rate this stay excellent.

    Nice quiet clean area. Very convenient and close to Joint Base Lewis Machord where we were visiting family. Nice clean room. Very fast hassle free check in and check out. Excellent place to stay, would definitely recommend.

    The room was nice and clean, the only downside was the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom didn't work and a pipe kept banging the wall when there was watter running, and the tub kept making a cracking sound when anyone took a shower. Other than that the service was friendly and the rest of the facilities were nice.

    This place was rated a 9 on Expedia. Not even a 3 star in my book. This place is so run down and gross. The tub/shower hasn’t been cleaned in I don’t know how long. The dirt grim line was noticeable and there were mold spots on the caulking around the tub. The beds were old and you can feel the springs. Not to mention the sheets were dirty!!! Full of dirt and hair.

    Sort of disappointed at check in when the front desk person couldn't find us because she was not spelling it right. Even though I spelled it twice. We heard the same thing happening to other guests. The fitness center was nice but the tv did not work (need something to listen to or watch while working out) and the water dispenser in there was out. We let them know but it wasn't replaced even 2 days later. The room we were in had taken some abuse specifically on one wall so a coat of paint would have helped considerably. We really liked the shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers in the shower and the rest of the room and hotel itself were in nice shape!

    Very clean room and hotel, felt like a newly built facility. The complementary breakfast was convenient and tasted great every morning. Elegant dining experience, slightly overpriced for what you get but for the convenience it was worth it. Very friendly staff, there were several staff members walking around constantly making it very easy to ask questions or get assistance.
