Clean. Mattress was OK acceptable but not great. Would stay again if we needed to.

This was a solid hotel. Nothing exceptional, but nothing was bad.

It was very close to Bradley university (where my daughter had her new student orientation) & downtown Peoria. It was also clean with friendly staff & decent hot breakfast. The bathroom amenities were just ok (due to not being upgraded) but not bad at all.

The staff was courteous. We enjoyed the free breakfast The bathroom looked as though it had a mold ring around underneath the lip on the wall in tub area. And the bed was extremely uncomfortable! I would not rent another room at that hotel.

Check in process was not very inviting, and manager on duty seemed put out when front desk staff had a question. They hold a $300 incidental deposit at check in which seems high considering the hotel. CONS: The room was decent but had debris on the floor outside of main traffic area, and a half eaten taco under the bed skirt. Pretty gross! Furniture is showing its age. Bathroom had a broken tile and a piece of tape covering which I assumed to be a hole in the middle of the tub. PROS: Location is great, right by all major restaurants and stores. Room had a giant TV with good programming, beds were comfortable, and water pressure was great. Hotel has nice amenities, and breakfast was decent. My opinion, a room maintenence schedule, and room cleaning checklist would give this place another star. That and a welcoming, professional desk staff that are glad your there.

The breakfast and other available beverages were great For a handicap room i had a bathtub that was super hard to climb in to take a shower. It was way too deep. Wish i had a better chair other than an office chair to relax in. Was disappointed that i wasnt offered to have my room cleaned for my 2nd night stay.

We had a good stay. The manager was very accommodating and friendly. The room are a little dated. One if our beds was broken, but manager promptly moved us next door and all was well. Breakfast is a good start to day. The women working the breakfast is very friendly and easy to talk to. Will definitely stay again.

The staff were jus excellent and truly helpful to me an my daughter, which made our stay even better. The 2nd shift lady was extremely kind not to mention helpful. I mean starting feom my check in the boss an his staffs customer service was top notch!!! Ill be staying again. Truly appreciated!!!

The breakfast was good. We enjoyed bacon, eggs and waffles. They also had oatmeal, yogurt, cereal and muffins. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is close to stores and restaurants. We’ve stayed here before while visiting my son at college and we will stay here again

Elevator was out (not informed until too late to cancel). Room was old, dingy, and not well cleaned at all (ie food and trash under sofa pull-out, entertainment unit noticeably dusty, old tub stains, shower head stains). Staff (front desk and kitchen) were very accommodating and kind. The pool was available for use (old but functional). Overall would not stay here again.

It was a bummer the elevator was not available. Our toilet clogged up in our room. However, I was pleased with the stay. The room was nice and clean. Pool area is pretty decent. Breakfast for the most part was good. This hotel is a nice place to stay for the value.

We enjoyed our stay, the elevator was down but the staff communicated that very well, and we are able to take the steps. Our room was nice, the housekeeper had missed some trash in the room. The breakfast meal was very good and though it was busy at the time we ate, there was plenty of food and coffee.

The Elevator was out and had been out for over 2 months and wasn't expected to be fixed for another month. We received an email from the hotel the morning of check in advising us, But at that point we had no choice but to stay there the whole town was booked up. My wife is handicapped and we were staying 3 nights had lots of luggage. It also took about 30 minutes for check in as the lady was on her cell phone with multiple personal calls with grandkids.. Also my room never had room service no towels replaced. I went to the desk to ask for more towels and was told she was too busy and I'd have to come back later. Just an awful experience over all..

Wasnt very soundproof and a dog was barking for hours

The carpeting had a tear, which could be a potential fall risk. The room had a slight odor, not sure if it was from pets. It was also very noisy because they had some parties there thank goodness I was too tired to really hear the noise after I fell asleep.

Booked room about 3 Weeks ago for a comedy show in the area...the day of the show...go an email from the hotel saying "the elevator" was down...thinking it might be working in time for check-in...get to the hotel just to find out the elevator been down since October 25'..this should've been know well before check-in date...so now it's either go pay 3x as much for a close hotel or walk up 3 flights of steps because no one in the area has rooms available...VERY POOR MANAGEMENT 😡😡😡‼️

The elevator was not working but they were able to get us a first floor room. My husband has a heart condition and cannot do stairs. Juan, the evening front desk, was very nice and friendly. Breakfast was fresh and good with a variety of foods.

First the elevator didn’t work! Luckily we were on the 2nd floor. Well not lucky because our room was at the end of the hallway, right by an exit. Oh but the keypad wasn’t working to enter the door, so we had to walk all the way to the main entrance to get in. And if that wasn’t enough we saw a bedbug in the bed the day we checked out. I always check the mattress upon check in looking for any signs of bedbugs. This mattress was clean. Beware of this hotel!!Never ever will I stay at any Best Western again!! Disgusting

Staff was not friendly and they gave us the wrong room with someone else in it. Then acted like it was my fault. Keys wouldn't work for the outside doors. Elevators broke down and they made my elderly mother walk up 3 flights of stairs.Air conditioner wouldn't change temperatures and pillows were rock gard.

the elevator does not work (staff states it hasn’t worked in over a month). We checked in after a concert and walked up the stairs with my belongings to the 3rd floor just for the keys we had not to work. I walked back down the stairs with my belongings, waited at the front desk over 5 minutes before he came back to the desk. He remade the keys and I walked back up the stairs with my belongings for them STILL not to work. At this point my fiancé is very upset. Walked down the stairs and made the front desk guy walk up and open the door with the master key. The incidental charge was charged to my account (usually anywhere we stay it pends till it drops off) so I called the hotel to complain and the guy says “oh I heard about you and how disrespectful you were to our staff” and hung up on me. Are you kidding me??? Horrible business. Do not recommend and will never stay at a best western again. DO NOT STAY HERE

The breakfast was good for what they had to offer at the hotel. Staff was very nice and pleasant. The property needs some money, put back into it. The elevator was broke so you had to stay on the first or second floor only. The carpet in our room was torn. The bathroom facilities in the lobby of the hotel were broke, so if you did not have a room you could not use the restroom. And the door that leads to the outside at the end of the hall was also broke. Not a bad hotel just needs a lot of loving care. Bef was comfortable and bathroom was very clean.

The General Manager said they hope to have by this May. Folks, that is four months off. How can you run a business and put people on the fourth floor and not have an elevator. Just do not get it.

I don’t get to have breakfast because I catch a 5:00 am flight to TN. It would be nice to have a bowl or plate with a banana or apple and a few granola bars. After we boarded we ended up with an hour and a half delay.

The room can be better prepared for customer. The odor of the room was awful, I had to spray my cologne to be able to stay in the room.

I waited at the front desk for approximately 15 minutes to check in. The camera at the front desk that would alert the young man that was folding towels is broken. I see that as a facilities problem NOT the young man working the front desks problem. The elevator is also broken and my room was on the 4th floor

Everything was good except the elevator was out and had. Been for 2 weeks. I have severe breathing issues and my daughter that was traveling with me has had a hip replacement. It was all we could do to go up and down the stairs.I was asked by the guy that checked us in if the second floor was ok. I answered i guess. I spoke to the receptionist when i checked out and she told me everyone was told they could get a full refund. I was not offered that. I feel a email should have been sent to say the elavator was out or been offered a refund.

This is my second time at this hotel but in a nicer room. It was okay, but just needed some care. The staff was sort of rude. The room was alright but definitely needed a good cleaning and some updates. The breakfast was underwhelming at best. We didn’t find out that the elevator was not working until we checked in… and we were on the top floor after a long drive.

Room was clean, and nice staff. The only problem was. We were on the 4th floor, and the elevator was broken. It was hell getting our luggage up to the 4th floor,and when we left. It was a pain. Next visit I will call make sure the elevator is working. Before I head there.

Rooms run down… carpet disgusting in hallways and first room we were given….if you’re going to make your guests walk up a staircase with their luggage… at least clean the handrails on the stairs…. Only saving grace for this place was the staff…. Great employees from front desk to breakfast!

The room had a smell to it but once I bought some air freshener. It was fine. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The breakfast host was very sweet and helpful.. the bed had a dent in the mattress but other than that no complaints for the price

The room itself was fine except the pillows smell very stale. (but were clean). The breakfast was good. BUT.... the elevator was broken, which I understand because it was Thanksgiving they couldn't get it fixed right away. However, upon check in, the woman proceeded to tell us about the broken elevator and added "the only rooms I have are on the 3rd and 4th floor". Since my room was prepaid on a 3rd party site, it's not like I had a choice about staying. Plus it was Thanksgiving.. where would we even go? And I wouldn't get money back or anything so of course we took it. No "sorry" or "can I help you up the stairs?" (we are old) and she said it in a tone that meant she really didn't want us to stay. VERY unwelcoming. If she would have said it in a different tone OR said "sorry" I might have felt differently.

Everything was good about it. Was able to do early check in on Thanksgiving. Pool was warm for the kids and breakfast was switched up everyday. Kids loved the endless amounts of hot chocolate. Beds are comfortable as well, showers nice and hot!

Mattress was comfortable though a bit divited. Elevator was out of order, though we were offered a Queen room on the ground floor instead of walking up to the 4th floor. Skipped breakfast after taking a sip of sour expired milk.

I stay here every time i go to Peoria. I usually get there earlier to check in, but i had a late check in this one tone. The lady working the desk was not friendly at all. She acted as though i was an inconvenience instead of a paying customer., like i had seriously just ruined her whole night by checking in. It was unreal

We thought it was great but want to mention that at it was great in spite of the hotel being a bit worn out. Don’t let that put you off as it was very clean, not perfumed up and our pillow cases were wonderfully white & fresh. Carpet worn out & furniture a bit faded but we would stay there again.

Unfortunately, the elevator was broken, something I only found out when I got there. my boyfriend has a bad hip so cannot climb stairs. The guy checking us in originally told me the rooms with king beds were only on higher levels, but then miraculously “found” one on the first floor, but it was right across from the gym and next to the pool and a loud side door that kept banging. So definitely not the greatest in terms of noise. I wish there was a way hotels.com would let potential guests know if an elevator was out of service. I might very well have picked another hotel. also, the hair dryer must be wired bad. Could not hold the handle for more than a minute or two before it got super hot. I told the front desk upon checking out, but I wonder how long that has been a problem and either no one has used the hair dryer or no one else bothered to tell hotel staff about it.

Absolutely the WORST hotel we've ever experienced. We picked this hotel over others because of the exceptional rating on Hotels.com. I don't know what hotel others were rating, but it wasn't this one. Beds were hard, pillows were lumps of foam and not actually pillows. The shower head wasn't high enough to hit my head, and I'm only 5'8". One ply toilet paper. Our toilet didn't flush. The sundry shop had a small cooler of soda and one bag of animal crackers, hardly a sundry shop. Vending and laundry were on the top two floors and not accessible for us because the elevator was out. The hotel itself is in a VERY blighted and scary area of town.

Room was fine. Staff was fine. The stay was adequate. The bed, blankets, and pillow were not very comfortable.

Breakfast was mediocre at best. Not many healthy options.

The following morning I talked to the desk person about it. She said she’d have someone clean something and she’d spray a deodorizer. We got back to the room the following evening (9-ish) and were met by the same strong smell. I went to tell the desk clerk and said we were staying that night but weren’t going to stay the last night of our reservation. Thankfully, we did receive a refund for the third night and partial refund for the other two nights. Lastly, there was only a super-thin comforter on the bed and a significant hole in the carpet in the bedroom. Very disappointing stay.

Fix elevator

Our room was clean & huge. We had a room with living room with pull out couch, 3 chairs, a couple tables, kitchenette & tv. Huge bathroom with sink. Then extra area with another bathroom sink, bench & closet. Bedroom has king size bed, desk, tv, chair & ottoman. Both rooms with individual thermostats. Wish we were staying more than just overnight for an early flight. Have full breakfast or breakfast to go at front desk if your flight is before breakfast opens. 24 hour coffee machine with multiple options instead of just regular & decaf. They also have fitness room & pool we didn’t get to use. Highly recommend this hotel.

Older lady working the breakfast buffet (unsure of her name) was the best. So attentive and making sure sure everything was just right for everyone. Friendly with everyone and helping you get your day started off right. She deserves a raise. :)

I was disappointed in this hotel experience. The carpet was dirty, and I was unaware that this hotel allowed pets. I was stuck in the elevator for more than three minutes while the door would not open. I was scared that I would be stuck with the other 4 participants for longer. This hotel felt unsafe and was noisy. I could hear people running and jumping all night. It was not a great experience.

The staff were all really nice and cheerful! My room was really large. King bed was comfy with a few pillow options. Room was at the end of the hall and very quiet. The first night I was there I turned on the heater during a cold snap. Smelled like burning fur and made the fire alarm in the room go off. I alerted the staff on my way out to dinner and was informed this happens in a lot of rooms. The floor of the tub/shower was very broken - patched a few times, but very bouncy with new cracks forming having me wonder if I was going to join the person below. There was dog kibble in a few places around my floor which says the room was not cleaned well.

We prepaid 3 weeks in advance for a king size bed. When we arrived, they had no king size beds available, even though we had prepaid for it. The evening desk clerk was rude. Then I was charged a $100 security deposit for damages. Which they said would be refunded upon my checkout. No receipt of the refund was given even though I asked for one. When we went into the room there was a huge brown stain on the carpet. I called the front desk because I didn't want charged for it. Then my husband sat on the corner of the bed and the bed frame was broken and he fell on to the floor. When we told the staff, they were indifferent and extremely RUDE. The female manager was hateful and went out of her way to be rude. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Zero stars

Older hotel they’re trying their best to keep up. Was sold two queen beds but they were most definitely two doubles. It’s fine but feel like I paid too much for what it is.

Beds were good, but carpets were not clean-especially hallways (frayed in places as well). Hallway walls were banged up. Bathtub had a crack in it. Bathroom needs repainted. Breakfast was typical offerings, but potatoes seemed leftover. Pastries were fine. Having almond milk available was nice for those who need it.

First room we checked into had ants (a lot of them!) on the table. I told them at the front desk and they laughed and said they seemed to have one room a day that drew them in. We did get moved but then attempting to use the elevator - it would not open on each floor. You would have to go up and then down 2-3 times before it would open on your floor. It was very hit and miss if it was going to open when you pushed the buttons. I don’t feel as if I got what I paid for with this stay. I’m really disappointed.

The hotel is well maintained for an older hotel. You have to request maid service, which we were not told so 3 night stay we had none. Pool was nice, a little dirty. The rooms were clean but the carpet turned our feet black. Front desk and breakfast attendant were friendly and helpful. We had a LOT of preteen- teen kids wandering around. The area is more industrial but lots to do across the road, not realy walkable. Breakfast was good, standard issue stuff, eggs, meat, waffles etc.

The elevator was a bit fussy and there is only open network WiFi.

Clean room. Friendly staff. Bad coffee from the "coffee" machine near the elevator which brews about 9 different items. NO coffee in dining area and breakfast selection was very low every day of my stay.

Overall stay was good. Friendly staff, good breakfast, close to amenities, etc. The negative was the mattress is pretty cheap and bows in the middle and frame is tilted so your head is lower than your feet. Had to turn around in order to keep blood from rushing to my head.

It’s a little dated, but a lot of hotel for the money and it was a good complimentary breakfast.

Very clean little noisy above us early morning kids were running back n forth. Woke us up,but other then that wasn't bad. Next time going to see if I can get the very top floor so hopefully I'll get better sleep.

Taylor at the front desk was amazing! Very pleasant. Room was fine. Bathroom could definitely use some work. I swear the tub moved when I stepped into it to shower. Also, the smoke detector fell off the wall in the middle of the night.

We were given a room on the second floor initially. Unfortunately, the beds were both exceedingly soft and uncomfortable. There was some mold at the seams of the shower unit. The toilet was very low to the ground. Because my husband has some mobility issues, we asked for a handicap room after the first evening. We were given a handicap room, but it was right across from the kitchen. So the noise level was pretty ridiculous. Additionally, the handicap unit shower is very dangerous if you are not used to walking on a wet tile floor. Extremely easy to slip and fall. it should be fine for someone using a wheelchair, however. The mattress was also extremely soft and worn out in this room as well. finally, the heating and air conditioning unit was very loud, sounding as though a spaceship was taking off and landing periodically throughout the night. We definitely cannot recommend this hotel.

Property off main road and entrance confusing to get to! GPS takes back road that is not serviceable!

Everything was wonderful! The elevator was a problem if you didnt know its only 2 people capacity due to needing serviced but other than that it was a relaxing quiet stay.

Loved how polite the staff was & the cleanliness of the property.

The a/c made banging noises before turning on. The carpet in the doorway was frayed and staples/carpet nails were exposed and dangerous. The hallway had frayed carpet as well. The breakfast was poor in its quality. Cobwebs around the windows and window framing was coming apart.

Liked everything! Very nice! Big rooms and clean! Enjoyed swimming in the pool. Breakfast was good.

Nice room

Lady at check in was very rude. We had an air conditioner that wasn’t working properly. When we called the desk, she stated “you’ll have to give me a minute”. Two hours later we went down to the desk and she very rudely told us she was the only one there and there was nothing she could do about it. She said she could refund our money and we could leave. We stayed due to traveling from Minnesota to Ohio and were very tired. Very disappointed. We stayed on July 4 and it was a totally different visit.

Very happy with this hotel with good combination of amenities and price point. Very comfortable nice pool excellent breakfast friendly staff. Quiet.

Bed was good. Everything else average at best. Elevator barely works, no AC in the hotel. Tiny bathroom with very slick bathtub. Spent 3 days, no room cleaning or fresh towels. Busted TV remote that didn't get replaced when asked.

We had to move rooms at 11pm due too ants all over the room . We were surprised to see little ants all over the bed . There wasn’t a few there were tons !

While is started out challenging with an inability to confirm my reservation, Tayler “saved the day” upon my arrival. He was able to reassure me that my reservation was intact and I was warmly welcomed to Best Western Plus. And, that was only on day 1. On day 2, he trekked up to my 4th floor room when my key was de-activated. Truly a service recovery expert with a great attitude. The room was clean, bedding comfortable, only complaint was the cycling of the air conditioner during the night. Everything else was wonderful, once I arrived.

Taylor is such a remarkable, wonderful and caring, young man he remembered who I was. He even asked about my pets, but we didn’t bring them this visit as always outstanding customer service!!

Was in town for orientation at Bradley University for our youngest and had to stay the night. The hotel service, price, and comfort were great. We were very happy and would recommend for anyone.

Solid overnight stay. Great price, appreciated the nice pool and gym even though I didn’t use them. Would stay again for sure. Only 2 miles or so from the civic center which was where I went that night.
