The room was great! We only stayed the night but it had everything you’d need for a longer stay. It was a one bedroom with stove, fridge, counter space, couch. The living area tv didn’t work but we weren’t staying long so it didn’t matter.
- 2/5
The pool area and patio were excellent an very relaxing We were awakened early morning to someone flushing a toilet or showering, the water noise was like a freight train at 540am The couch was disgusting with stains that we weren’t able to even sit on For the amount of money per night I was very disappointed
- 4/5
Everything was as advertised and it’s a reasonable place for the money. The only reason I gave it a couple of three stars was because they’re undergoing some renovation work and the elevator didn’t work. The rooms are generous and size and comfortable.
- 4/5
For the price, it’s a good place to stay. It is dated and could use some TLC, but it’s comfortable and clean.
- 5/5
Good size rooms with a kitchen
- 2/5
Only good thing I can say about the property. The room was clean when I came in the lobby was set at 80° and never changed the whole time. I was there got up to the room. We set the temperature to 60° to cool down the room. It never felt like 60°. The whole place was supposed to be a smoke free location the whole room smelled that way, and the location was full. You have to get to the breakfast early because they would never restocked what they had.
- 4/5
front desk is helpful.
- 4/5
The staff were very nice. We didn’t use any of the amenities during our stay but the pool looked well maintained (perhaps a bit small). The room wasn’t the cleanest but it was okay. The bed was very comfortable! At check out we browsed the breakfast and it looked good.
- 3/5
The room was clean. It was a suite with two bedrooms and a living room. Only one of the three TVs worked. I called the front desk. Nothing was done about it nor did I receive a discount.
- 4/5
We had a suite, quiet rooms, ac unit was quiet enough to sleep, kitchen lacked simple eating bowls, extra garbage bag, scrub brush for doing dishes, daily breakfast downstairs was simple, tolerable, but often the refilling lagged behind demand, check in counter people could use some friendliness training, stayed 5 nights, for night 3 asked for the room to be made up and cleaned, not done and blamed us that we had some personal items on the bed (not true, and how does that stop you from cleaning the bathroom?), no apologies for that failure to clean, had to fetch our own new towels, they cleaned room the next day but forgot kitchen garbage, bed was fine but a bit dated or lower quality mattress for today's hotel standards, bathroom cleaning missed some mold on outside of tub in the corners, elevator malfunctioned briefly a few times (took stairs after that), , no restaurants or fast food in the vicinity. all told, we would stay there again provided the price is competitive
- 5/5
The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was good, hot and plentiful . The room has a full size refrigerator and freezer, to refreeze ice packs for cooler.
- 4/5
We had a two br unit which is nice for the family. Some of the furniture and kitchen stuff is dated but functional. The breakfast is a light offering typical of a continental setup.
- 2/5
Needed linens for couch. None in the room. Wouldn't give us enough towels for the pool.
- 3/5
Price was good and roomy rooms.
- 5/5
No issues with the hotel.
- 5/5
Breakfast was really good and have a nice selection, suite was nice and you will feel at home
- 5/5
Clean and enjoyable last minute stay!
- 4/5
Had to call the hotel to get the deposit back. They did t automatically reverse it.
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfy, useful kitchen inside the room a bonus. Quiet rooms too.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
nice area, clean rooms and wonderful employees.
- 3.5/5
The spacial concept of the suite was perfect for our stay, however, we were dismayed by the cleanliness (lack thereof!!) of our rooms. The floors were unswept/ un mopped (bathroom and kitchen); stains/ food on the walls/ floors (which explained the ants!); furniture and overall condition of the rooms were run-down/ outdated. Over-priced stay for the condition of the rooms!
- 3/5
The room was spacious. Clean. The furniture is not just basic, but looks like what they picked up randomly at salvation army.
- 3/5
There were bloody bandaids left next to bed stuck to the floor fronts of vanity in bathroom were dirty, the TV in the bedroom was so outdated sound was fuzzy in the living room.
- 2/5
I ended up exchanging them at the front desk who was very helpful. On Friday, they ran out of breakfast by 9am and we never got to eat. I do not want to take away from the staff though. The front desk was very accommodating but the rooms need updating and grounds need landscaping. The back area by the pool was dirty when you sat on anything. This place definitely needs some TLC.
- 3/5
This property is good location Smells cannabis everywhere
- 3/5
Lobby and breakfast area were great. Room was in need of some serious updating. Non-working bathroom door handle, paint and caulking in need of repair
- 5/5
I would recommend this location to all.
- 3/5
Microwave was not functional and neither was the toaster. Had someone come into our room after we had the do not disturb sign on. Staff was courteous when it was brought up.
- 4/5
First, the price was great for a family of 5, and the room was plenty big. There is a kitchenette with a full oven, which we didn't need but is nice. The bathroom even had a fan (oddly something you rarely find in hotels) but it was dirty. The worst part of this room was honestly the beds - very uncomfortable.
- 3/5
It’s a 3 star hotel, only hotel i could find for Syracuse graduation
- 4/5
Easy access. I didnt try the breakfast but appreciated the coffee a cess 24/7.
- 2/5
The room was not clean. The couch looked spoiled, there were stains in the bathroom. It was highly disappointing because I asked for the room to be cleaned however, they said that I needed to make the request the night before.
- 5/5
The place was surprisingly fantastic! I'd never heard of it before but I guarantee that I will stay there again anytime I'm in town! Great value, clean, and breakfast included. The staff was friendly and helpful. Can't say enough good things about the place.
- 3/5
Building is clean, housekeeping staff eey nice. Front desk, was raining while on the phone with manager as I checked in. Trainees should have direct support. The grounds around the parking lot and outdoor space scattered with garbage, butts and trash...
- 5/5
Suite was large, clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was hot, fresh and plenty of options.
- 3.5/5
Tiny ants in bedroom, shower did not drain properly
- 2/5
Breakfast was okay.
- 3/5
should have fresh fruit and eggs at breakfast; couch in room was dirty
- 4.5/5
The termination of reduced room rate for clay target shooters
- 4/5
Quite and convenient. None.
- 2/5
Room wasn’t very clean. There were blood stains on mattress.. had to sleep on towels. Kitchenet in room was dirty and quite outdated. Will not be staying there again.
- 5/5
location price
- 5/5
Young lady at the check in desk was friendly and efficient. Room was clean, bed comfortable and shower was fantastic, plenty of water pressure.
- 4/5
Good breakfast
- 4.5/5
Location and style it was built Breakfast have limited options.
- 5/5
Clean, nice staff, good space, reasonably priced and hot breakfast. Would stay again.
- 3/5
I did enjoy the room. I had an issue with the curtian and maintenance came and fixed it within an hour. I did have an issue where the overnight person must have written down that my room checked out because around 9am housekeeping tried to come in my room and scared the crap out of me as I was traveling alone and was sleeping. I raised my concerns with the front desk. They apologized. But I did enjoy how spacious the room was.
- 4/5
.
- 2/5
Garbage cans weren't even empty and food still in the fridge when I checked in. They refused to change my bed because I had put a mattress topper on the bed, due to the fact that the bed was extra hard.
- 4/5
Staff, rooms, breakfast was all great. 24 hr hot coffee and juice bar. Very little in terms of dishes in the room which we were expecting so we had to go out and get some paper plates/bowls, and utensils.
- 3/5
Our room seemed to be one that is never used. Greasy kitchen, busted stove, nasty floor in front of fridge. Beds were broken and had a broken arm chair.
- 5/5
Yes everything was. Good
- 1/5
My first room had a sofa bed with no mattress. It wasn’t even a sofa bed and that’s what I paid for second room had a sofa bed, but the mattress had like 10 holes in the mattress and it was dirty unsanitary. Also, they mislead you with telling you when you get there that they don’t clean your room for two days and then when you ask again, they say the clerk said four days when they clean your room very terrible experience. I would never go there again.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 0.5/5
The property was very dirty Very dirty and dated, blood stains on mattress, dirty floors, smelled very bad
- 4.5/5
Very homey, calm and has decent amenities like breakfast and 24/7 juice Far from downtown/ the city area
- 4/5
Breakfast wasn’t as much variety as had been on past visits. Out of a lot by time we ate
- 4.5/5
not really except alot of cigarette butts outside side door entrances
- 4/5
very good deal if you have to go to the hospital at 6 am!!
- 0.5/5
Yes there were dead roaches all over the room and when we went to the front they said we were lying mean while we have a video and pics of them
- 3/5
Nice property, definitely could use some stuff that can actually clean. Pets are allowed so extra care should be taken at check out so no hair is left behind
- 3/5
There were no forks and spoons in the kitchen drawer. I went to the front desk to get some. I got forks but no spoons. They said the would send some spoons up. They did not and did not let us know what was up. Otherwise the place is homey and the price is acceptable.
- 4/5
Other than that, a very nice stay
- 5/5
All good
- 4/5
We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with 6 people and it was great. Clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and attentive. Breakfast was typical hotel fair but kept clean and stocked. Would stay there again
- 2.5/5
Front door staff Stayed year 10 years ago and really liked it. Now it’s dated and smells.
- 4/5
The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The room could use some updating and a bit more cleaning, but it was good enough. I do wish the garbage compactor and kitchen sink were deodorized as the odor was a little strong. In the end, I would stay there again.
- 4/5
The room was clean and the location was great. Staff was friendly. It was a short stay but I would definitely book again. I didn't find anything I didn't like about this location.
- 4/5
Location and reasonable price. Breakfast could be better. Great coffee.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
A great place to stay in Syracuse. It’s clean, quiet and a short drive off the Thruway. Nothing
- 5/5
no
- 1/5
Trying to locate the sound, helped us move our stuff when we decided to leave our room. The manager, however, declined to talk to us, tried to convince me it was the dishwasher even when I played rhe siren noise over the phone and refused to compensate us anything at all, Even when Expedia intervened on our behalf. Very disappointed and do not recommend.
- 3/5
Carpet leading to rooms hadn't seen a vacuum or cleaner much - keep your shoes on😬 Bargain place for a bargain price.
- 3/5
Property could use updating. Breakfast had absolutely zero fruit options. But the room was very spacious with a full kitchen
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
Flight was cancelled and had to stay and extra day, no worries I'll just wash my clothes... except the washing machines were broke. At the end of the day, it's an old hotel reasonably priced. More than likely purchased by people that are just looking to offer this type of accommodation...nothing special.
- 3/5
Furniture dated and stained, beds comfortable and shower was good
- 2/5
The second room was all dusty. I was afraid to touch anything. But the sheets were clean. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. Staff were super helpfull though when dealing with the issues.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing
- 2/5
The breakfast was ok, however the staff was rude and lie I do not smoke inside ever, they tried to charge me 250 . Do it I will see them in court! They just want to charge to make money anyway they can. Ripoff artists.
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
The room was not cleaned. I stayed there before but service and the conditions are getting worse and worse with every stay.
- 3/5
Airport vicinity, no close restaurant or bar. Close enough to a lot of nice places within 30 miles. Easy peasy drive.
- 5/5
clean, nice staff and large rooms
- 5/5
We got a lot for a great price. The place was very clean, the staff were helpful and nice. The room was huge with a full kitchen and two TVs.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean, but grounds were not. Staff abrupt, not friendly
- 5/5
The room was great the staff was wonderful except one the pool was closed I guess so to the season but overall great experience
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
Room was clean overall but sofas covered in pet hair. Old beaten furniture. Parking lights out.
- 5/5
Breakfast was fresh, room clean. Excellent overall
- 3/5
Bathroom was in difficult shape. There was no plug in the bathtub. It took 3 days but that was addressed. The toilet lid was broken. The water wasnt hot. Staff were heavy smokers. They didnt pick up after themselves leaving picks of butts on the parking lot.
- 2/5
When we checked into the room late at night night, we noticed the room was dirty. Garbage unchanged, dust and dirt in the sinks the top and on the floor. We were too tired to change rooms so we requested a late checkout instead. When it was time to check out, I half an hour before checkout time they called us and notified us that we couldn’t get a late checkout due to the hotel being booked solid. We checked Expedia and noticed that they still had plenty of room; so they lied to us. We’ve asked to speak to manager, and he refused to talk to us and stated that we could not get a late checkout. We did not appreciate it the treatment we got from staff and we will not recommend this place to anyone.
- 3/5
You need people that really clean the room, not just say they did. The floor throughout was visibly dirty. Hair all over the floor in the bathroom. Dirt build-up around the bathtub, and in the corners. You could tell the floors were not swept or mopped. There was a dirty spoon in the dishwasher with dried caked on food and is probably still in there. The kitchen drain smelled like mold.
- 3/5
When we checked in the woman working the front desk was on her phone and never got off while we checked in or 10 minutes later when I came out to tell her our tv remote wasn't working. But the far more annoying thing was our room was directly next to a back door. In the evening they lock the front door so guests can only come and go through one of the back/side doors. That door was insanely loud!!! Till one in the morning people were coming and going and every time the door closed it slamed shut and made our windows rattle. It's such a shame because other than those two things we actually thought it was a good spot. Very convenient and we loved having the separate living space. We would actually consider staying here again and say we had to have a room upstairs. and hope for better customer service.
- 3/5
The room was in good condition, but the room had an off odor. The furnishings needed some updating. The floors were clean. The king sized pillow top bed was the best feature. Amenities were sparse. A previous guest lest food covered dishes in the dishwasher. Staff addressed it same day I told front desk. Maintenance also cleared slow running sink when notified.
- 4/5
The convenience of having a kitchen and a fridge makes a big difference
- 5/5
Very clean, quiet, staff was helpful
- 4/5
Front desk staff was courteous and helpful both when checking in and when checking out.
- 3/5
Room wasn’t clean. Very dingy. Wouldn’t stay there again
- 3/5
They were out of eggs at 9. There was a vent in living room area with black mold on it and on the wall around it. No hand soap in the bathroom. Hair in the tub and on the shower curtain.
- 5/5
Breakfast was fresh. Only one thing the ac in the room was to loud.
- 5/5
There was a variety of hot and cold foods with the option to make your own waffles. Everything was clean and neat. You could also get coffee and cocoa all day.
- 3/5
We stayed here twice 6-7 years ago and it has gone down hill. It probably hasn’t been update in a few decades. The part of the hotel our room was in smelled of fried food and must. The paint was peeling off the cabinets, there were stains on the sofa, there was a crack in the sink, and chips in the bathtub and the hair dryer looked like it was from 1972 (not joking). The manager asked us questions like how many people are staying in the room and if we had any pets. Which is fine but it was the way he asked that was off putting. We told him how many and that we did not have pets but it felt very invasive since I’m pretty sure the number of people was stated on our reservation. He tried to make light of it by smiling and telling us that some people don’t like his questions but they can just leave. Then he gave us the wrong room. When we went back to the lobby the girl at the counter pointed at the monitor and told him ‘you put them in the wrong room.’ It felt like he was trying to catch us in a lie. It was kind of offensive. I will say it was very cheap. Next time we will pay more to stay somewhere else.
- 5/5
The room was clean, and the staff was friendly and efficient.
- 3/5
The heating didn't work in the room that my kids slept in and there was no heat in the living room area.
- 4/5
Clean rooms but the grounds had a lot of debris .
- 4/5
Staff
- 5/5
Clean and well stocked.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff friendly and Breakfast area was clean and good!
- 2/5
Room felt neglected.
- 3/5
We stay one night a month through most of the year and there have been a few disappointments. Three times there were no clothes hangers. One of those times the staff could not find any for us. One night the heater was very noisy and failed to keep the room warm enough. Recently I found that, upon entering, the dishes had not been put away and the trash container had not been emptied. Also the toilet failed to flush properly. On two occasions entry hardware was not working right.
- 5/5
Love the privacy
- 2/5
Yes. The room was indeed not up-to-par. Not well maintained. No hangers for clothes in the closets. And not much amenities. And no body lotion!
- 5/5
Fine room, fine continental breakfast!
- 5/5
The room was amazing, more than expected for the price. Only complaint was the water pressure and semi cold shower.
- 1/5
My second room, After two hours with the heat on high, the room was still ice cold. I wanted to shower but there were no towels. I tried to go to another hotel and get a refund but I booked through Expedia and the hotel could not refund me. The first room had a bad smoke alarm and kept chirping every 30 seconds so I lived to the above room. I am now on my third room and it is after 11 pm. I will be seeking a refund.
- 3/5
Cleanliness
- 3/5
Water leak from the bathroom ceiling, ask fir house keeping and they didnt clean the kust made the bed and new towels.. breakfast was good
- 4/5
Overall good value for the price. Staff was friendly. Plumbing from adjacent room was loud.
- 5/5
Comfortable, clean rooms. Friendly staff, quiet, good breakfast.
- 3/5
Dirty bed sheets and room. Useless Gym equipment
- 5/5
Room was nice and clean, staff were polite, and breakfast was pretty good
- 5/5
Great very friendly and professional
- 5/5
Clean room, nice staff, decent breakfast super close to where we needed to be. Beds were so comfortable. We stood here one night no complaints at all.
- 5/5
Maria and Ash stood out as the best part of our stay. We were staying in the area because of a relative in the hospital. Things were confusing and stressful. Both Maria and Ash had answers and suggestions to make our stay in the area easier.
- 4/5
The front desk clerk was very cordial. I was pleased with the room, (I had a king bed suite) and for the price, it was great! I will definitely be back when I have to be in the Syracuse area again.
- 1/5
There was roaches in my microwave and oven and they would not do anything together than move me my husband and our 2 year old in the middle of the night to a room right across the hall from the infested room. I am very disappointed with how it was handled and still have yet to hear from the manager regarding any sort of compensation for our terrible stay.
- 1/5
The room was dirty, there was exposed wires around the heater. When I went to check the sheets there was dandruff and hair along the back of the mattress. There was garbage in. The disposal. There was tape hanging off a picture . There was frosting or food on the couch and chair . The bathroom was dirty. I didn’t stay.
- 4/5
Stayed here many years ago and it was excellent. A little worn down compared to our previous stay. Love that there is no carpet in the room. Had a few keto friendly options for breakfast which was nice. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and very helpful!
- 2/5
My partner is hearing empaar
- 5/5
The hallways were quiet, and we had a very restful sleep. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Furniture was outdated, but it was not a problem for us. There was evidence of many other upgrades in the lobby: a fantastic coffee machine with complimentary coffee 24 hours a day. The breakfast was great and plentiful. Overall, we enjoyed our 2-day stay and if we need accommodations in Syracuse again, we will go back there!
- 1/5
Yes
- 5/5
The room was very clean/ a piece of garlic bread was left in the oven but other than that clean and nice.
- 5/5
Clean decent room. Clean hotel great towels
- 5/5
clean room. friendly front desk.
- 4/5
Desk Staff were very friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was good.
- 4/5
Could not ask for better accommodations.
- 5/5
Comfortable and clean
- 1/5
The room was not in good shape, many things broken, missing, etc. Strong odor in the hallway and in the room. Hotel didn’t feel safe.
- 5/5
Room was great, price was great and staff was great
- 4/5
Washroom toilet didn’t have great suction. Also, power went out at night for a while. Breakfast was OK.
- 4/5
nice room size; great value
- 5/5
Staff were very good, front desk was exceptional check in and check out!
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Breakfast was ample and very generous. Grounds are lovely. Staff was very helpful BUT the rooms need updating badly. Bed was comfy and clean but kitchen and bathroom were reminiscent of a 1970’s timeshare, sorely in need of upgrading. I’m told by staff that rooms are in process of being remodeled. That’s great since aside from room, this is a really nice facility.
- 4/5
One night stay. Very quiet surrounding area. Very little road noise. Good amout of space for the price. Very nice bath soap and shampoo. Breakfast was the usual stuff. Good coffee machine in common area. It even made espresso.Pretty sitting area with faux fireplaces. Good TV with extended HBO choices. Front desk was helpful and friendly. The door between bedroom and living room kitchen needed repair. The front desk fellow wrote it down when I told him in the morning. The heater in the bedroom seemed to have a limit and somehow it was meant to heat the other half but didn't do that well.
- 4/5
Living room couch was ripped and kitchen was missing utensils
- 5/5
The staff definitely was what our stay outstanding.
- 4/5
We arrived at check-in, and our room was not ready. We were tired, and our three young kids were cranky. (Probably because they were tired and hungry). We eventually got into our room (waited about 30 min or so), and while the room had dated furniture, it was spacious for our family of 5. Note that there were no carpets in the living room nor bedrooms. Breakfast was sufficient, but no juices were available.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
We’ve been staying at Cresthill Suites since 2016. We stay loyal out of familiarity, but have seen the hotel go downhill over the years, and it’s almost starting to become disappointing. Our trips to Syracuse have officially ended, but we will always miss what we consider the “original” atmosphere. For the most part things are clean and tolerable, but not as like it used to be.
- 5/5
Excellent 👌
- 5/5
exellent
- 4/5
Nice staff and comfortable beds bathrooms were clean but could have been better by the tubs great breakfast spread
- 1/5
My first room there had a present waiting for me in the toilet and the previous female gust left a used hygiene product in the trash bin in the bathroom. The obviously do not do a good job cleaning the rooms between guest. I moved to a second room and the door lock was broken so this place is not well kept up. I was grossed out staying here
- 5/5
Staff was welcoming. Furniture in room was worn and stained.
- 2/5
Staff is the best part of this hotel. Lobby is bright and updated. The rooms need to catch up. They are outdated and musty.
- 4/5
The room was clean but the sofa bed was old with stains. Hardwood floors were swept but needed to be washed. The breakfast was great. Coffee always available and pretty good. Front desk service was great
- 2/5
Friendly staff, rooms are dirty and stale
- 4/5
Most of the staff was great! Especially my friend Diamond. She went above and beyond. Unfortunately, the laundry room could use some cleaning and my requests for service went unanswered for 3 days. I think it was just a mistake, but they could really do a bit better with that. There is not much around the area, but this is a much safer property than a few of the others in the area.
- 4/5
We have stayed here a number of times. This time the property looks a little shabby around the edges. We didn’t have a fresh roll of toilet paper when we arrived and I had to hunt for one. And there was only one on the closet shelf. There were some stains on the couch. When I tried to turn up the heat, none of the lights on the air conditioner worked. When I use the telephone in the room to call down, I got no answer on the phone, but the desk said they received a call and kept saying hello hello. I could not hear anything. The desk receptionist came up to show me how to start the air conditioner. It finally went on when she put it all the way up to max heat. I adjusted it after that. But the room was clean and comfortable. We probably will not stay there again.
- 4/5
If you are staying in the area.
- 5/5
Very cute, comfortable and very convenient coffee and fruits 24/7
- 2/5
The front office person was new and not sure how yo check us into the room, received keys then we had people opening or door to the room because were checked into a-different room than one given. Startled us to say the least
- 5/5
The staff was awesome and very helpful especially the young man working the counter, very personable
- 5/5
Good place
- 4/5
Not enough plates or bowls in kitchen but otherwise well equipped. Full size fridge with freezer was nice. TV's are not smart TV's and don't have access to Youtube, Netflix or Amaozn prime and also don't wotj with mirroring/casting the content from your phone. Disappointing. Kind bed was wotrn out on side closes to bathroom where I usually sleep. I used other side of bed but if staying with two people this would be an issue for me. Otherwise - good value for the money.
- 3/5
The building is tired. We stayed in two different rooms while on this trip. The smaller king suite was better but lights were malfunctioning and the living room furniture was worn terribly. Great bed, nice kitchen. The breakfast got limited as the holiday weekend threw off their supplies. The staff did their best. The housekeeping was short staffed throughout our time here
- 2/5
The first room we were given was absolutely filthy. There was balls of short black curly hair all over the floor in the livingroom, the stove had charred old food on and under burners, the backplash was covered in dried dripping grease, visible layers of dirt on the windowsills, etc. The second room we were given was definitely cleaner and smelled cleaner. However, there was no shampoo in the shampoo bottle and we had two towels for 4 people. No, we didnt bother asking for anymore because when we called about the shampoo we were told to come down and get some. We just went to
- 3/5
The room was just okay. The couch was dirty, the bedspreads had stains on them. In general, the room and the hotel overall didn't feel clean. They need to pay closer attention when cleaning! I wouldn't stay here again.
- 3/5
It has been some time since a thorough refresh has been done on the rooms. The breakfast was great each morning. It is priced fairly but it is understaffed right now in housekeeping.

The breakfast was the worst we'd ever had. How can bacon and sausage be tasteless? Why are eggs salty? And this was not just one day. No food options for people with any dietary restrictions - at all. Lowfat yogurt, more fresh fruit, something. All around us were saying the same thing - could have gotten better for less elsewhere.

Staff was great, clean safe
- 4/5
The room and hallways are showing its age but the bed was comfortable. My only grievance was that housekeeping did not ensure that there was sufficient toilet paper or Kleenex. Would stay again.
- 3/5
The staff upon arrival was very nice. The room appeared clean. The furniture is old and some was broken. The couch was dirty. Didn’t want to sit on it. The shower drain was very slow and backed up into the tub. The bathroom door kept sticking when opening it and was very loud. It’s in the bedroom so no way to open it quietly. If I’m in a pinch-which I was I would stay here again.
- 4/5
It was convenient and clean for quick over night stay in Syracuse
- 2/5
The place was dirty, the bathroom door was broken so you couldn’t shut it all the way and the place smelled like food. The smell didn’t go away it was there for the entire time.
- 2/5
We booked 8/20-8/23. We checked out a day early. And we had already paid for it. I got the bill from Expedia for 1000 plus dollars the service terrible. You have to ask for housekeeping otherwise you don’t get it. 3 days ridiculous. Nothing !! I asked for housekeeping On Friday and when I returned in the evening nothing was done ! I went to speak to guy at desk and he said he couldn’t help me no effort to even try to assist me. I told the girl Saturday morning we were leaving a day early because of the many issues. She said I’m so sorry. And that was it no effort to make things better. So they obviously don’t care about the customer service. The place was dumpy. Dirty linen left on floor in hallway by our room. I made my own bed every day. For the price was ridiculous. I do not feel I should pay for 8/23 I should be credited stayed there 3 years ago. Was nice has gone downhill please advise on how to get my credit for 8/23. I even bought the insurance Wish I took photos. 8/10 for crest hill suites is a total lie

Very clean, quiet hotel. Would stay again. Room was a little light on paper products. We asked for the bedding for the pull out bed. Overall a great hotel option.
- 2/5
I’ve never written a review before, but this time I felt I had to. I had seen other comments about the poor cleanliness of this place, but I didn’t expect it to be as bad as they said. Unfortunately, it really was.
- 4/5
Good suite for the price would stay again
- 3/5
Cons: smelled like pets, sheets didnt fit bed, shabby workmanship (caulking, painting, etc.), kitchen not equiped for use.
- 4/5
Disappointed that pool was closed
- 2/5
Hallways dirty, dated furniture. Just buy a good vacuum.
- 5/5
Excellent FREE breakfast! I've been staying here consistently for 5 years coming up from Brooklyn NY to help my daughter with her college housing needs ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👍🤞
- 5/5
Property was OK. Good value
- 5/5
First time staying here. Decent place for a good night’s rest. Quiet area surrounding the hotel. Typical continental breakfast, enjoyed my brief stay of one night.
- 1/5
Then they're told the pool is closed
- 5/5
The room was perfect for us. The bed was comfy. We did not use the kitchenette but it was clean and well maintained.
- 1/5
Room was filthy. Bedding was not washed as evidenced by finding pubic hairs on sheets. Floors were not clean. Dust on bed headboard and on ledges on counters and along with on top of refriderator and lights. Blood on door to bathroom vanity. Door to bathroom appeared to have been sprayed with urine. Bed blanket had 2 black smudge marks. Corners had cob webs. Beds were lumpy and felt like sleeping on pebbles. Sofa was hard as rock and very uncomfortable. Televison in the main room would not turn on. Pillows are inconsistent, some are half the size and hard as rocks, others are lumpy and full sized. Large flem ball in kitchen sink. Rice left on kitchen burner. Would love to add photos if possible.
- 5/5
Room was very nice, everything was clean, and breakfast was adequate.
- 1/5
Check in took 40 minutes without acknowledging while in line. 1st keys didn’t work - everything fell damp to touch- only one coffee mug in room- air conditioner was like a jet engine it was so loud- charged three times on my incidentals debit card and took over a week for refund - called 4 times finally my bank took care of it- it was paid in full when I arrived through hotels.com-breakfast and pool were nice- third time staying there - place went downhill- was last time.
- 5/5
The place was very clean and nice. The kids had a great time in pool. The girl at the front desk was very nice! Thank you for a wonderful stay! We would recommend this place.
- 4/5
We did have a problem with our four day stay with water dripping from the ceiling on to myself and my bed. The tollet on the second floor overflowed and we had to pack our self up and move to another room. My husband and I handicapped and I wished they had offered help moving us. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.
- 4/5
The AC in our room was not only loud, it made a thumping noise all night. The suite was well designed and laid out. The desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the other guests were pleasant and friendly.
- 5/5
Easy quick early check in!
- 5/5
Good stay
- 1/5
The hotel was over booked instead got two room instead of one 2bedroom. Really not recommending better pay couple of bucks more and take Hampton inn accross.
- 5/5
Our family of 5 loved having the extra space in room with 2 queen beds and sofa bed. Breakfast was good. Hotel seemed a little olderbut was clean. We didn't use but had a full kitchen in room as well as multiple laundry rooms on site. Great price and met our needs. Pool looked nice also
- 2/5
A month before, I reserved a two bedroom suite for me, my wife, my 19 and 17 year old grandchildren, When I arrived, I was told the hotel was "overbooked" and they didn't have my room. They could put us in two rooms next to each other. Well we got two rooms a two doors down and they were smoking rooms and reeked of stale cigarettes. What do they mean "overbooked." Does that mean bad management? You sell me a room and I expect to get it.
- 4/5
We booked this hotel with Hotels.com It was a special online price for a few days, so the rate was less expensive. It was a king suite, with kitchen area. We used fridge & microwave. The bed was comfortable. The place was clean. No hangers in either closet to hang clothes. It was advertised Buffet Breakfast. We were disappointed because there weren’t any gluten free options & there wasn’t anything hot except for waffles. So really nothing to eat Gluten Free. Allergic to wheat, so no breads, waffles or muffins. It just seemed a little sparse by the time my husband went down. He brought back the last Blueberry muffin for me. The staff at the desk were friendly & helpful, with both check in & check out. There was a policeman on the premises, so there was security.
- 4/5
They ran out of cream cheese coffee Miller’s and other breakfast itrms
- 5/5
Cresthill Suites was a great find for us, especially because there were a few properties in the area that didn't feel safe. The hotel staff was amazing, super accommodating and helpful. The hotel is a bit dated, but we didn't mind it because it was clean and really safe.
- 3/5
We used to stay here because of the two bedroom option (we have two children). This is our first time back in over 5 years and our room was run down, the floor was dirty, the table was broken, the tv was fuzzy, and the couch just looked sad and overused. Unfortunately, we will not be going back again.
- 1/5
It took 30 minutes to check in, and when I finally visited the room they gave me it wasn’t cleaned. No sheets on the bed, kitchen was dirty, bathrooms were dirty, and we weren’t the only visitors with the problem. Turns out the cleaning person walked out mid shift. There was a classic car show in town and every other hotel was sold out. So my wife decided we’d clean our own room, since we just drove 600 miles from Chicago and we’re too tired to drive to the next city. My wife and daughter cleaned the bathrooms and made the beds, my son and I cleaned the floors and kitchen. That evening I spoke to the manager and asked what he was going to do about it, in the form of a refund. I checked my credit card and he only refunded me $25! That’s it! I drove 600 miles so we could clean our own rooms! I’ll never stay at an off brand hotel again, ever. I wasn’t expecting opulence but I expected clean rooms and better service. Do not stay here!
- 3/5
Facility was dated but fine. Breakfast was good. We found hairs in the sheets and in the bathroom sinks. There was rice/some other food on the floor in the kitchen of our room. It took 20 minutes for the receptionist to notice us, as he was busy talking to a friend/coworker casually at the desk when we arrived. It took another 20 minutes for him to check us in…he said the computer was slow.
- 5/5
Very big two room suite. Kitchen with dishes, utensils and all. With a seating/living area. Bedroom was large, and a large bathroom as well. All clean. A little rough here and there, with finishes and such, but very clean. Nice breakfast in the morning. Eggs, toast, waffles, cereals, muffins...nicely done and area is sunny and clean. Great views to the courtyard and pool.
- 4/5
Outside . Staff kept pool open later to accommodate this as well.
- 2/5
Check in was quick but our AC eas not keeping the room cool at all. It was a hot day but I talked to another person staying hete and she said her husband was working on the AC in their room too. That was the biggest issue with us. The hotel clerk said the Managerwould not come out and the did not have maintenance here.
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Stay here whenever I’m in Syracuse. Great place to stay, has everything in room needed and pool is very nice.
- 3/5
The rooms were not very clean. We switched rooms because the bathroom floors were dirty. The second room was not much better. It definitely needs updating, and the sofa was super uncomfortable. The kitchenette was lacking many dishes and the pots and pans were disgustingly dirty best part of the hotel was the outdoor pool, but the barbecue area was loaded with people, smoking marijuana and it made it unpleasant. We smell of marijuana in our rooms. I think next time we will look for a different hotel. And the TVs did not offer anything but basic cable and we weren’t able to watch Netflix in the evenings.
- 3/5
Outdoor pool was nice
- 4/5
It had a lot of green space property around the building, outdoor patio and is only 2 stories.
- 4/5
The front desk coverage was not reliable. Our room had not been swept nor had the single waste basket been given a new liner and there were linens outside the door that had not been picked up by the time we arrived.
- 5/5
I have been staying at this hotel for many years. It is clean, quiet and staff are attentive to needs. I especially like this location because it is away from traffic noise.
- 5/5
Clean
- 4/5
Good property, particularly for an extened stay in the area as the suites are spacious with apartment style kitchens. My room was clean and the staff was polite and professional. The included breakfast buffet is typical but convenient.
- 1/5
Bugs in my room had to downgrade to smaller room
- 3/5
There were influx of ants in the room
- 5/5
Clean & quiet
- 5/5
Comfortable clean room, friendly staff, nice pool. Only complaint was the smell of marijuana in the hallway constantly
- 4/5
Property was ok, area ok, room standard. Food for breakfast was ok. Nothing extraordinary. Seemed to be missing things like maple syrup for the French toast.
- 4/5
Everything was good. Only problem was the pull out sofa. The mattress was shot. Couldnt sleep on it. We made do. Reported it to the front desk. They apologized and said they would put it on the replacement list. They were in the prosess of doing some upgrades.
- 4/5
Had a great stay , nice room with king bed and pull out couch, all kitchen essentials, good breakfast, nice pool and area. Would return
- 4/5
Enjoyed staying at the hotel . Lots of kids made it family friendly for us .
- 3/5
The rooms needs upgrade and the house keeping was not that good they need to learn how to clean better.
- 5/5
Clean Spacious rooms.
- 3/5
I like the setup of the the 2 bedroom suite, however upon entering the unit was dusty and dingy. The AC gave a funny off putting smell. The furnishing were very outdated. While I was sitting on the couch something crawled on me I swatted it so fast I didn’t get a chance to really see what it was, but there were also spiders in the unit. What I did like was that there was plenty of parking, full breakfast and the pool was clean. There isn’t really much to do immediately in the area but within 15 mins is downtown Syracuse, the mall, and green lake state park which was not bad at all. Choose this location based on proximity.
- 4/5
Everyone at the property were just great. They cleared up an issue that Expedia had been arguing with me about for literally DAYS making my life MISERABLE right up until the day of the stay. Thank you for being so great Cresthill-
- 5/5
Beautiful place with a nice pool, and quiet.
- 4/5
The rooms have been upgraded since our stay a few years ago. Carpets have been replaced by flooring, couches have been replaced. The microware and dishwasher looked newer. Our room was clean, compared to a few years ago we had to dust and clean. Pool area is nice. There was a confusion at check-in which took 40 minutes to resolve but all in all, a nice stay. I would return.
- 5/5
Everything was outstanding
- 3/5
Room was in lousy condition. Couch torn, paint broken on walls, dog hair on chair.
- 3/5
One thing we did not like is that for three times in a row there were no hangers in the closet. Kudos to the desk clerk, in May, who grabbed hangers from an unoccupied room because there were no extras in laundry to hand out.
- 4/5
Cresthill Suites are great!! Room had to be changed 4 times. 2x no ac, 3rd someone was already checked in. 4th room was perfect. Request a 1st floor room your safe!
- 2/5
They did not have the room we reserved, so we were stuck with a king instead of 2 doubles. Room was not very clean and reeked of cannabis. It still smelled in the morning even with the windows open all night in early April. Would absolutely NOT recommend.
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean. The staff was kind and helpful. We stay down in East Syracuse a few times a year and have had horrible luck finding a room that is not only affordable but clean and convenient. We will definitely be staying here for all our future trips. The breakfast was delicious and I loved that they offered things to purchase right from the convenience of the hotel. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was clean and inviting.
- 1/5
Awfully dirty place- I had to be moved to 4 rooms to find something habitable.
- 5/5
What a fantastic place to stay! We will most definitely stay here again! We had a one bedroom suite that felt like being at home. For the first time on my trip cross country I could relax as if I was home. I wish my stay had been longer.
- 5/5
The bathroom needed some cosmetic repairs but only slightly more than most motels. I couldn’t give it a 5 star rating, but it’s a solid 4 and with it costing much less than surrounding motels for more space, I recommend it!
- 1/5
Is NOT as represented online - on expedia or their own site. Buyer beware!!! I left immediately and property would NOT issue a refund despite place being dirty -- dead bugs in the utensils drawer, kitchen surfaces all gross and sticky like greasy. Furniture old and badly worn, bare spots on much of it. Property not well cared for outside either....I'd advise against anyone on expedia staying there.
- 5/5
Favorite spot to stay every spring and fall for the past 4 years and enjoy each stay!!
- 5/5
Very nice. Clean and nicely updated. Spacious suite. Exceptionally reasonable rates!
- 4/5
Lovely setting
- 3/5
Have stayed at this property previously but was disappointed this stay. Was not as clean in the past. No paper towels (property without), dirty microwave, etc. Had photos, however they have been deleted. I do travel to Syracuse 1-3 times/yr but do not know if I will stay at this property again.
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast, helpful, friendly staff, rooms are outstanding! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 👍👍

Nice employees
- 4/5
Rooms were spacious. One of our 2 rooms did have an odd smell but it was not unbearable. The other room had no odor. Couches could have used a vacuuming. Adequate for a quick one night stay. Unfortunately, prices were very high due to Syracuse graduation.
- 4/5
I personally did not stay . My crew did. They didn't have anything bad to say. Stayed here for the kitchenette
