We did not have a good experience. Even though we had confirmed our room over the phone in advance, our reservation was canceled. After a lot of discussion and follow-up, they gave us a room that did not match our original request at all. The facilities were weak, and the management was unprofessional. El edificio esta en muy malas condiciones todo sucio y el cuarto esta peor huele muy feo las paredes sucias la toallas bien sucias la verdad el hotel esta muy feo ni gratis paso una noche ay ise la reservation y solo de abrir la puerta del cuarto me arrepenti y no dure ni 5 minutos en dejar el cuarto y mi mujer no le van a quedar mas ganas de pasar una noche el la cadena del motel 6

The property was dirty, the mirror was dirty, the bedding had cigarette burns, it was wasn’t clean at all. & it also smelled like cigarettes. Honestly this was the first time we expierenced a Motel 6 to be super dirty & smelling of cigarettes. We requested a non cigarette room, but the smell was so strong. They definitely need to update these hotels and make sure they are cleaned for guess to walk in. The mirror was all dusty and with water marks, floor all dirty not even sweeped right. We didn’t sleep all that great. But at least it took us out of the rain for the night.

Dirty towels, dirty walls, double charged. Even though its proximity to my work was perfect I probably wouldn’t stay there again

It was convenient but I got double charged and it took a week and a half to get my money back. Towels were stained brownish with even browner spots. But like I said proximity to work was worth it and they have on site laundry room so it was worth it plus I had my own towels as well as cleaner

Do not book this place if you're going by the pictures. It is completely FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. You can't enter the main lobby (not sure why) and have to check in at the night window. My room was not cleaned when I arrived and had to wipe down everything with sanitizer becuase of the visible dirt. There was also a strange sticky substance on the phone that wouldn't come off. There were stains on the sheets, the mini fridge was broken, and the towels were stained as well. Even the tv remote was filthy and had to be wipped off. I would not recommend staying here if you don't have to.

I have stood there in the past, but this last time that I stood at this hotel was filthy. The blankets were all stained even the pillows. There was roaches on the floor coming from the AC and in the bathroom. I couldn’t believe how dirty the room was so I asked for another room and that room was even worse, but the blankets were not stained at least for the top blanket because I did not crawl underneath the other ones. But I did see a few roaches on the floor coming from the door. What does bad experience I will never be going back plus I believe they’re dealing drugs there because there was a few people standing outside of door watching the parking lot.

First of all the bedding had multiple stains. the frig was filthy had spillage on inside. Non smoking room smelled of an ash tray, the tubs over drainage opening was open it was missing the cap that covers it, and when you went to open the bathroom door it would hit the toilet. This motel is run down and lacking professional housekeepers.

Peter the night staff was great and accommodated all needs. Staff was A+. Highly recommended!

Not only dirty but also a property damaged

I’ve stayed at many Motel 6’s, and I generally know what I’m signing up for. This is by far the nastiest Motel 6 I’ve stayed at. First red flag was when I checked in around 5pm in broad daylight and the lobby was locked with a sign directing you check in at the night window. The room was so gross, gross stains on the was adjacent to the bed, the tv on the wall hung at a crocked slant, stains on the pillowcases and sheets, several huge pieces of tile broken in the restroom. The mirror on the wall had a huge crack and the toilet had nasty stains in the bowl. I definitely would never recommend this location, nor will I ever come back.

My bedsheets were not changed, they were wrinkled and had hair in between them. They did not mop the floor nor did they clean the restroom right the refrigerator was nasty

It's THE most disgusting place i have stayed in all my 60 years. It has cockroaches, hair everywhere the floor was never cleaned the walls were dirty it was the most horrible experience I have had in a motel in my entire life if I could give it negative Stars I would

Motel 6 in El Monte is the one My boyfriend and I stayed at. I enjoyed the fact that they are very high security and their rules are pretty strick. I felt very safe there.

During my stay at the hotel, I experienced some issues that affected the quality of my stay. Firstly, I noticed a strong odor of cigarette smoke in the room, which was quite unpleasant. Additionally, I observed that the room was not properly cleaned, as there was visible dirt remaining. Moreover, there was mold on the shower curtain, and unfortunately, I even encountered some cockroaches crawling on the wall.

Staff is very friendly. Booked a non smoking room but it had a ash tray with ashes and room smelled like cigarettes. Bed sheets had holes in them from cigar burns. Rooms need to be deodorized.

Traveling thru the state of California in my box truck and need a quick rest/shower so I stopped here as it was close by, there was availablility snd AMPLE parking for my box truck. Parking lot for truckers is great! As most Motel 6 parking they always accommodate truckers. So that was not an issue. The problem was the room! It was disgusting. Smelled like cigarette, cigarette burns on the sheets/ comforter. The bathroom was gross. Honestly I don’t think the room was cleaned and if it was… wha a poor job. I slept for a couple of hours because I was dead tired but I couldn’t bring myself to take a shower. It was NASTY!!

I’ve stayed before on the right side of the place and it was fine ,had everything I needed ,, stayed on the left side and first room was dirty ,, dirty bed covers and floors ,, I went and asked for another room ,, second room was dirty too not as bad as the first one ,, the next day in the morning when about to leave there was no water smh

This motel was really gross. It’s what you imagine a hotel that street level pimps and drug dealers would use to work and party at. Super dirty inside and outside, room smelled like cigarettes and like people were doing crack there right before we walked in. The bedding was torn and falling apart and the bathroom is a place I wouldn’t shower in. The guy who checked us in at the armored window was nice enough but it was just too gross. I would t stay here and I definitely wouldn’t bring kids here. We tried to stay because of location, free parking, and free pet stays but wasn’t worth it and immediately checked out and found another hotel.

This is one of the worst motel 6 that I've stayed at for one it was nasty and very dirty sticky walk way the parking lot had oil stains. The room had graffiti and the curtains were falling homeless looking in the dumpster for cans i will never return here i would suggest for anyone to stay somewhere else!!

The motel 6 it was terrible, the room that stayed has cockroaches, dirty room. The toilet didn’t flush well. the service was horrible the guy took forever to gave me the key honestly I do no not recommend this motel.

I rarely write reviews but I can’t help it on this one: absolutely disgusting room. Dirty floor, walls, and curtains. Bad Smell, terrible mattress, holes in curtains… towels felt like rags to mop the floor. I give it a zero and would go lower if I could. Shame on this place

Book a two bed room, was given a one bed room on check in. Found two small roaches near sink. Gentleman at front desk was rude and not accommodating.

The room had roaches in it. I was waken by a roach crawling on me and as I was packing my bags it was a roach in my cloths and I seen what looked like to a bed bug on the wall. I’m requesting a refund and I really wasn’t comfortable with our stay

It was cleaner from the last time I was here. An improvement. I chose this place is location for work purposes.

The room was so filthy. The sheets , pillowcase, and pillow had red stains which obviously had not been washed prior to my stay. The grime and dirt was deplorable. Microwave had splattered food and built up grease and grime on touch areas. Below the bed and frame had lots of dust, grime, dirt hair, you name it. Nothing was clean . Covid CDC guidelines? None followed. I checked out early. God forbid there had been carbon monoxide or a fire because the smoke detector was not there. The base or mount was but not the actual detector which I believe is a reason to fine or close them down. Unsafe and unsanitary is a nice description. Do not stay here!

I had a very quiet and pleaent stay

Very clean, a few issues in the restroom: a hole in the shower curtain, some wear and tear conditions on the wall around the tub area (which is expected but needs fixing) and then there were a couple of roaches roaming on the restroom floor

Worst Stay, Customer Service, They did not put us in a Suite room, the blankets were stained mold in the shower, dirty floors where even coming out the shower your feet would turn black! no microwave! heater was broken and they refused to give me a refund! i will never go back there false advertisement. The Front Desk Rep who smelled bad btw. Said I got that type of room for the price I paid!!!! Worst service in my life!!!

The room felt dark and not comfortable at all, the bed sheets had cigarette burn marks and when I pulled away the sheets we found roach eggs and hair particles. When we pulled the bed out to look behind the headboard we found M&Ms and trash behind it. We pulled off all the sheets and four some dead bedbugs on the corner of the bed. It was disgusting and horrific. The tv was small but it didn’t really matter to us but than I realized there was no controller to the tv. The room did not come with a mini-fridge as it was advertised. The A/C was old and discolored, looked like it hasn’t been cleaned. As we sat down to relax for a bit, we saw a roach crawl across the A/C and disappear into the unit. That was it. The worst Motel I have ever stayed and I’m an avid traveler but this place disgusted me and I could not stay there. Unfortunately, they were unable to room change me and did not stay the night at all. I would say pick another location, this one needs a lot of help. The only thing I forgot to do is take photos of the place and what I found.

The building looks old so, we were ready to not be impressed, but the room was dirty. Floor was sticky, bathroom was halfway clean and the towels even had stains (one looked like blood stains). That was the last time we stay at a Motel 6. We rather spend a little more and spend the night at a clean place.

The sheets look like they were used and not changed. The pillowcases had stains on them. The pillows were stained with yellow and Browns spills.

Very professional and accommodating staff and owners were amazing. They treat everyone with proper respect. I liked everything except the granite in the shower was an inappropriate cut. Other than that it was a great stay.

A year ago, I used to consider this a reasonable place to stay but now it’s run down and the other guests are all over the place. It doesn’t seem safe. Also, the bed only had 2 small old pillows with very old looking pilllowcases. I won’t stay here again.
