Everything was great from check-in to checkout. Room with king bed and sofa was spacious. Bed and bedding were comfortable. The only minus was the traffic noise so be sure to request a room not facing the freeway if available. Traffic noise from I-5.

Checking in Joshua was very personable and helpful. Only got 1 room key though instead of 2. Not a lot of parking. The area where the breakfast is served was small and hard to navigate with the crowds…it wasn’t an open concept so really only accommodated about 4-5 people before we were walking on top of each other. The seating was fine but where food was served was tight. Our room was on the first floor but was quiet even with a high school baseball and a lacrosse team(probably says more about the kids and coaches than hotel staff) The hotel itself is in a bit of a run down area. No complaints on our room or any staff.

The lounging chair was very nice but need more than one comfortable chair in our room. Using the bed to read or watch TV is very uncomfortable. All the room around the "kitchen" area was wonderful. However, there was not enough lighting over the area.

The room had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and when I discovered my comb didn't make it into my luggage, the front desk supplied me with one so I can get ready for a wedding I was attending. This was an all around fantastic place to stay. The room was very clean, comfortable and inviting. The breakfast had many options, including two kinds of omelets, bacon, and sausage, pancakes, and much more. They even have grind and brew coffee 24/7! The pool and hot tub were clean and well stocked with towels. The staff were competent and pleasant.

The hotel staff were so inviting that I was even more happy to be there. The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and the hot tub was my favorite place to be. The pool was cool enough to be refreshing but not ice cold which was appreciated. Very happy with the stay and would recommend anyone to stay there.

Always had to wait for staff since they were never at the desk, the room had uncomfortable furniture, and outdated TV's. The parking lot is extremely sketchy and there seemed to be a lack of any kind of security or cameras outside. The bed was comfortable seems to be the only saving grace, however every time I was in the room I couldn't stop itching. I will not be staying here again

Paid my deposit for two rooms, one with the card and another room by tapping the same card. He said he shouldn’t technically be accepting that because I used 2 different methods with same card. Not sure how it matters if paid by tap or swiping or inserting. Not sure if he knows that if the card is tapped it shows a different number on the system. Went to get dinner after getting the keys done. Came back to find out both the room keys were not programmed. All 4 keys for both rooms not working. Went back to get it programmed and the staff again unhappy to reprogram. Gave me a free advice not to keep the keys with any devices/phones etc. All together just the staff was very unpleasant and not helpful. Hot tub worked great. But yellow color for pool water. Nice comfy beds some chirpy noise through out the night. No drinking water bottles so make sure carry drinking water specially if you are traveling with kids. Good breakfast and easy check out.

What does bother me is the lighting. If you apply makeup, their bathroom lighting does not account foe you. I always travel with a light-up makeup mirror. Their breakfast is a very good selection of meat and meatless options.

First time we stayed at this holiday inn. There was only lukewarm water to shower with. Their explanation was that everyone showered at the same time and should be hot after 15 minutes. This didn’t happen so I said okay we’ll go to breakfast and try when we come back still no hot water. They said we had maintenance check and everything good. We checked out and requested refund for the next night. They said we had to work with Expedia. Expedia contacted them and they refused to give me a refund. Beware

The pool water was yellow when we arrived on Friday. Kids unable to swim in it (which is one of the reasons we booked the hotel). Saturday was a LITTLE less yellow but the chlorine smell was so bad you couldn’t stay in there to enjoy the clean hot tub.

We had two rooms, one room the chair was broken ask to be replaced nothing was done so we had to take a chair from the breakfast area, so my mother had a chair to set in. the second room the carpet was coming up at the seem!! also called to get a plunger an hour later I had to go down and get it myself!! and then they ask me to return it that they didn't have another plunger! what staff we did see seemed not really wanting to be their kind of like just going through the motion!! we will not be staying at this loction again!!

The room that we had was terrible. We barely had wifi connection and our room curtain was broken. It was very disappointing and if I had a choice, i would rather stay at the location in marysville where they were great service. Oh, and the front desk didn't help either.

The air conditioner was still operational in November, which we appreciated because we like a cold room when sleeping. The hot tub was a little extreme. The bubbles were almost volcanic. The hotel itself was great. The hot tub had a little too much chlorine but the breakfast was awesome! The front desk did the best that they could but we encountered problems with our cards being charged. Overall, a good stay.

The lighting in the room was atrocious. With the drapes closed there was not enough light to adequately match colors of apparel, and instead I ended up with blue top and turquoise bottoms, instead of matching colors. To take a shower meant one could not see adequately. There was insufficient light to read. Only TV watching has sufficient lighting. There were no instructions for either the heating/cooling system, nor the drapes which were on some incomprehensible, automatic - cutesy - system.

The tv didn’t work part of the time. Sometimes would randomly turn off or stay on a black screen. Couldn’t find any of the light switches initially. And after a shower the bathtub makes an extremely loud “smacking” sound- almost like it was going to fall through the floor at any moment. Kept us up all night.

I booked the room online, showed up at 9:00pm for check in, got right into the room without issue, room was comfortable, I had one issue with my key not working after breakfast but it was quickly remedied. Everything was as smooth as I could ask for a reasonable price. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area. The staff was also great at check in and check out. Truly welcoming and helpful.

A crackhead started a fire outside the hotel and almost burned a wing of the property. Big drama ensued. Super clean rooms. Hotel is slowing it's age and the breakfast sucks.

The worst customer service! We paid and confirmed the booking and they called me at 10:20pm no voicemail and I have to call them back after our conference to find out they do not have a room for us! No apologies and until now no reimbursement. We have to drive home with 2 kids!

The hotel manager was not friendly at all , there was some issues with my key card not working and I couldn't get into the room, nobody was at the front desk. another guest let me inside finally after I was knocking on the door for about an hour. It was raining and freezing cold outside.the manager then called my room probably10 times in a row while I was using the bathroom. when I answered it was to inform me that my stay was being cut short and I was to check out in the morning . Like I was to blame for the key not working and I was not a paying guest .I have never been treated so poorly at a hotel before, never!

There’s some homeless around the hotel at night and during yhe day

Property served its purpose nothing outstanding nothing crazy. Front desk was absent when arrived and no sense of urgency from them knowing we were standing in the lobby.

The rooms were comfortable and clean as was the loby area. the reception person was not there when we arrived, and had a sign saying they were away from the desk. I had to wait a bit (less then 10 minutes) to check in. They were not there when I checked out either (maybe they are short staffed?) The noise from car racing in the area was intermittently super loud.

We loved that it was close to shopping areas. The hotel was also very clean. Actually the stay could have been very good, except for fire detector low battery going off thru the night. The way it was handled was not the greatest either. Besides that we would recommend the hotel.

The only downside is the South Everett neighborhood around 128th has seen better days and is a bit rough. So don't leave valuables in your vehicle and try to park pretty close to the entrance.

The customer service team were great. The room was clean, the pool area was clean snd the breakfast was great. The two things that were not great were the elevator didn’t work and we had to walk the 3 flights of stairs and the hot tub jets didn’t work. I would stay there again.

The property is right next to a casino. We saw a woman prowling cars. Needles in the bushes. The patio furniture at the pool is decayed and paint is flaking. The woman that runs the kitchen/ breakfast area is fowl to say the least. They need to reacess the staff.

Joe at the Front Desk was awesome. I also liked our room for the most part (it was a Suite). Unfortunately, the entire public area strongly smelled like chlorine from the pool. You could not be out in the hallways or sitting area - it was that strong. Quiet hours were not followed. An incredible amount of foot traffic in-and-out until 3:00am. When i left in the morning, there were 5-6 homeless meandering around the lot and a pile of vomit directly outside the hallway door. Also, most of the breakfast food was gone 1 hour into the timeframe it was supposed to be available. Overall, disappointing.

My stay was great. The breakfast was so convenient! The cash for laundry was difficult. But the availability of laundry was great. I didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub because of hours :(

The best shower head I’ve ever experienced…lol The bathroom mirror is good as well. All fixtures and rooms have been upgraded nicely. Front desk agent Bailey was very helpful and accommodating to our requests. Thanks Bailey. The Irish pub just down the street was fantastic as well. Great hotel…thanks for everything.

Check in took over 15 minutes, but the person was very nice. When we got to our room, we noticed it smelled funny. I looked at the floor beside the bed and found food scraps and garbage. So we changed rooms and the second room still smelled funny, but appeared to be cleaner. There is a a lot of freeway noise at this property (which is to be expected being right off the interstate). Shares a parking lot with an old casino and gas stations. Convenient location, but it’s not somewhere we would stay again.

The room was clean, comfortable beds, decent TV with a good selection of channels. Didn’t use the pool or hot tub but seemed to be good since it was always in use by guests. Would recommend this hotel if you need somewhere to stay for a weekend or even just a night but that’s about it. My stay was 3 nights and that was the perfect amount of time for this property. Would give it an overall 7.5/10.

We did not have any blankets in the room. There was a cover on the bed and that was the only one available. I called the front desk for a blanket. They stated that the entire hotel does not have extra blankets. I asked if there are any unoccupied rooms with blankets available. He replied with a no. He then stated that he will take a look and call back. I went downstairs 20 minutes later. Another gentleman in line was also requesting a blanket. The front desk clerk left to find a blanket and came back with two different looking ratty old blankets. We each took one and left. I have never been in a hotel that did not supply blankets. The next morning, we did not have any hot water and were not able to take our showers. This was a nice hotel with amenities that did not meet our expectations, especially considering the reputation of the hotel and the cost.

The front desk help is amazing and friendly and helpful with every need I ever had. Great place to stay for a good price. Would highly recommend.

I was refused a refund although I cancelled. I was told that I would be refunded but that never happened 186$ down the drain. I now call it best takers

All was good and quiet. Breakfast was uncomfortable as two obviously homeless individuals came to the breakfast room and skulked about. Then helped themselves and chowed down. Did not feel comfortable and we felt concerned for the sole little lady tending the breakfast area.

Well the pool & hot tubs was too chlorinated late so instead of waiting until they were closed it was chlorinated while in use which was hard on eyes - pool bottom step on ladder was broken- checked in Friday & checked out Sunday but came back from breakfast at 7am on Sunday & door key no longer worked - luckily someone was in room so door got opened - daughter had adjoining room & hers didn’t work either- should probably wait till room has checked out

Pool was down the only reason we picked this one and when they opened the hot tub is was so dirty it was gross be at breakfast earlier if you want anything other then eggs and dry cereal milk we had to go for my son's surgery at the children's hospital will not stay here again lot's of better places to stay

I like that there is lots of places to put suitcases and belongings. It's not new but it's clean and everything worked.

Quiet and clean. Check in was a breeze. Front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. Yes, there were a few sketchy looking people around the neighborhood, mainly at the Safeway. However, I felt safe as a female traveling alone. Plenty of parking and I felt safe parking and walking in lot after midnight. Bed was awesome!

The breakfast was absolutely delicious the variety of foods was excellent.

Some of the hosts were very friendly while others just did their job to the T. Sometimes flexibility makes everything go smoother. I sure loved Stephany. 😍

We enjoyed staying here with our three kids.. it was clean, had a good free buffet and an indoor pool we all enjoyed!

No hot water, cigarette burns in the carpet. Strange cooking odor in hallways. Fire alarm goes if randomly. It's next to a police station and a run down casino. Graffiti all over area

Good location

The hotel was very affordable and provided a well-stocked breakfast of omelets, bacon, sausage, pancakes and the usual, fruit, pastries and oatmeal. It was clean smelling and dis not allow pets.

The rooms were very smelly like dirty socks or something died in there. Breakfast had limited coffee and poor service. Customer service was good but hotel was not maintained. I will avoid express in future due to this bad experience.

This was one of the better Holiday Inn Express I have stayed in. The room was updated and high quality. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Online check-in didn't work. Parking sucked.

Extremely noisy, people walking barefoot around common areas, even the breakfast area. No hot water in the morning. Homeless people roaming around the facility at night. Poor management.

We were pleasantly surprised of the entire hotel down to the details. It was very clean and modern. As a guest you easily get comfortable & feel at home and the warm breakfast is a cherry on top. Price is super worth it. Will come back for sure 😉

It was close to everything.

Our room was clean and most comfortable, and breakfast was generous in its offerings. The staff were all helpful and friendly. We will stay there agin.

I rented a room for my disabled family member so she and her son could visit our grandmother. They had to check out a day early because of bed bugs. They also heard gunshots around the area, there are a lot of drugs and homeless right around the hotel. I'm still waiting for my refund.
