No food on the property, it's an extended stay motel and is very old, built in nineteen seventy five and do not recommend .Beds are very hard.Tvs are small.I had a curtain rod that fell off the wall.Because it's one of those extended ones, I'd give it probably one and a half stars.the bar is a outs bar only open between 5 12am Wed through Sunday only

Great staff! Super helpful and friendly. I got locked out of my room and they fixed it right away. Apparently the circuit board in the door handle was not connected properly. They also had a very interesting library in the room. I had read many of the books but they had some gems that I have never heard of and I am reading them now. I bought my own copies....

This hotel is wonderfully pleasant with a retro vibe! The room was very clean. Staff was great. Pool was nice-clean-relaxing. We loved all the palm trees and shrubbery that surrounds the lounge area that makes it secluded. It has a tiki bar for night cocktails if you choose so. Nothing loud just relaxing vibes. Thanks for the memories!

For the price this is great value based in location. It’s outdated but has vibe. If you need just a place to stay while visiting the area it’s fine. My only complaint was the bed was really uncomfortable.

Great stay for the price. Within walking distance to Lauderdale by the Sea and the beach was right across the street. Rooms were cleaned everyday. You dont find that amount of cleaning for the price of the room.

Room was disgusting. There were stains on the bed, dead bugs in the room, pubic hair all over the bathroom floor. We knew we were going to leave after the first night to give us time to book another hotel. Got up in the morning and showered, grabbed a towel and there were 2 blood stains on it. They advertised a restaurant on their website but it was closed for “remodeling”. When asked about it they said “we never advertised a restaurant”. The bar area was full of leaves and looked like it hadn’t been touched in months. The staff were rude and didn’t help at all. Don’t waste your time and money on this so called “beach resort hotel and suites” joke.

If I was a Hotel Owner, I definitely would hide the entire Staff including Housekeeping. I can't express how much I would stay here... I thought the room was clean until I woke up in the middle of the night to find 2 cockroaches in the bathroom. I just left the light on and they went away thankfully! It seems people are living there so a few smokers outside our door which did not sit right with me. The tike bar looks like it has not been open in years, so that was a disappointment. The pool looked nice and the staff was great and the hotel was in good walking distance to the beach, etc. The cost was cheap, so aside from the roaches and the non-tiki bar it was fine for a 1-night visit.

Not what I would call a resort. One night bar was like the local hangout for people who looked like they just came from their Florida trailer park. Not the resort I was looking for!!

The hotel is clean & water pressure good & beds r comfortable plus u get a mini fridge & microwave & price per night generally pretty fair! Pool is also clean & nice wicker lounge chairs by the pool too! Staff is friendly & they do have a Tiki bar open usually Wednesday-Sunday! No restaurants on premises but plenty of excellent ones in the area! They do have a BBQ grill if you’re up for grilling! We’ve stayed there at least 7/8 x’s in last 7 years & have no gripes!

I was not happy at all. My safe did not work in my room & it would not have been able to have been fixed until later that day when the maintenance man showed up. I then had to walk around town with my possessions that should have been able to have been locked up safely. There was hair in my bathroom when we checked in & it did not belong to myself or my daughter. There was people talking loudly outside our door late into the night which did not make us feel very comfortable. I decided to leave the hotel & when I went to retriever my clothes from the closet the bar that my clothes were hanging on fell on me. When I went to check out early bc of my discomfort & dissatisfaction I was told there was nothing that could be done. I also e-mailed the hotel to see if I could get some resolution that way but I got no response from them at all. I thought that was very disappointing.

Overall the property is fine and the price is good. The front desk makes you use the little window after 6pm like it's some hustler hotel in the hood. The pool is small. The bar is there. Staff is friendly. The garden area with the tables is lovely. The bed was hard as a rock and felt old and worn down, but at least there's no weird 1980's polyester cover on the bed!

We were only there for a night because our flight was cancelled and rescheduled for the next morning. The place is way over priced! It’s old, not updated, wet and dingy. I can’t comment on the pool but it was inconvenient that food options were at least a 15 min walk away. The young man at the front desk was very nice and efficient. When we got to our room we couldn’t even get the door to open because the door had swelled so much that it was too fat for the frame. It took shoulder power to eventually get it open. If it was an inexpensive place to stay then it would be what I expected but this was not worth over $200 a night!

I pour concrete for a living, I don't think I've ever poured concrete harder than the beds that we've slept on. Those beds belong in a landfill. The AC unit for our room belongs right beside it in that landfill. All night long the AC would just kick on and off, on and off, on and off, on and off, on and off - you get the picture. The staff was friendly, zero problems with that. I wished I would've known about the beds and about the AC. Anybody who's gonna book these rooms needs to know what they're getting themselves into cause quite frankly I could've spent $100 more and enjoyed my night sleep way better. I don't like leaving negative reviews, because I understand from a small business, but I had to say something. I spent a lot of money going to Florida and hoping for a good vacation for my wife and my daughter. The location to the beach was good, but we were so tired by the time we got to the beach because we literally did not sleep the entire time.

The location was amazing! The front desk manager was amazing and very helpful. The lady in the morning wasn’t as nice not rude but the other staff were so nice and went out of their way to be helpful, where she wasn’t so helpful. The location could not have been better. Rooms were nice ( actually better than what I was expecting after reading reviews) they were super clean and a good size. The shower water temp regulator and pressure wasn’t the best. There are some long term guests and they were super friendly and helpful! Will definitely book here again.

Friendly front desk available there 24 hours a day which is great rooms were cleaned promptly each morning however I felt the overall value of the room was underwhelming and the Hotel really could use some updates. Some updates.Location is really good

Room was decent and close to the beach. They had a great tiki bar and pool next to the bar for kids to swim in. The room was mediocre at best though. The bed was hard as a rock. If you can tolerate the bed everything else was good and it was walkable to the shops downtown.

He was finally able to explain what she asked, then she calmed right down. I don’t know her name but she spoke with what sounded like a German accent.

Room was large, and clean. Terrible location. The restaurant wasn’t open. If you go to the beach you can not get back out to the street if you walk south.

The pictures on your site and theirs are deceiving. There is no ocean view.. at all. We are on the third floor and no ocean in site. Also to get to the beach, it’s not just across the street. It’s up the street to the traffic light, then walk about 15 minutes. The room we were in has an old moldy smell. I killed a roach in the bathroom. The tiki bar. No food. No gyros, no dubs, no food. This is a very wierd place.

The downtown area with shops and restaurants is roughly a mile down the road, very walkable but it is a two lane highway you’re walking down ( on the sidewalk, but one section was getting new concrete so we did have to go on the road for a minute) that being said, our hotel on the third floor was not very noisy with traffic even at night, not sure if that changes during the busy season. All in all a really nice visit. The only negative we had is that the shower had very low water pressure so anyone with long and or thick hair has a bit of a challenge washing their hair lol the pool is very nice, older chairs but maintained and clean. The staff was very friendly and we would definitely stay here again.

This is not a hotel nor a resort, but a motel at best! False advertising! The check-in staff was very rude. It needs some serious updates!! Our room smelled like cheese our entire stay! Would not stay here again or recommend this place!

Super clean room and public areas, unique and fun look not like ugly chain boring hotels. We needed to extend our stay after our flight was unexpectedly canceled and they were able to accommodate us, even arranging for us to have the same room back, which we loved. The pool was wonderful, the beach was less than a minute walk and we plan to stay there every year! Jana at the front desk is exceptional!

Was watching my daughter swim in the pool when a county inspector came by and tested the water. He advised us there was no chlorine in the water and she should get out and shower immediately. She has a intestinal virus for Xmas, thanks ! Room and property are very outdated .

We had a problem with the room keys not working and they were replaced and still one key didn’t work. In addition, the room had a mildew smell to it. It was not an expensive hotel so I guess you get what you pay for. Also, I wouldn’t consider it a hotel and suites. It is a motel.

For the money, it’s decent. Outdated but not bad. Front desk person was very nice and accommodating, kind and respectful. Really friendly staff. For the money I paid, I think it was a good deal, and great location. Just outdated but lots of hotels around this price range are like that. If you don’t want to pay several hundred bucks for a night, you shouldn’t complain about this but it’s just a fact.

Room was sort of grubby, the bathroom was so small I had to stand in the tub to shut the door, and the beds were not comfy at all. The staff was nice and it was less than 5 minutes from the beach.

Typically Florida hotel. Nice area, good for walking, beaches. Unfortunately like everything in America the price is not justified. And i don't blame the hotel.

Close to Lauderdale By the Sea/Beach. Safety is a concern (1st night partiers @ 12am I needed to yell at to be quiet; 2nd night had to call police for fight right outside door/hallway). Housekeeping knocks at 10am and when we asked each day for them to come back -room never refreshed; had to go get our own towels. Less than average (cheap/old building) - you get what you pay for.

Stayed here for 4 nights. The room was super cute & spotless, and the mattress was firm, which I loved. Front desk was very friendly, and the bartender was great. Nice clean pool, with a tiki bar and pool table. Easy 2 minute walk to the beach, and you can download the circuit app to get around Lauderdale of The Sea area for free so you really dont need a rental car.

There was no parking when we first entered, the rear parking from the back, alleyway was very concerning and shallow. The beds were super stiff. The microwave and the refrigerator werevery outdated and the Television was way too small.

The first room safe didnt work, so they moved me to a different room where the safe didnt work the security lock on the door was half missing, the refrigerator didnt work but the freezer part did. One more day and i think the toilet flush handle was going to break as it continually kept getting looser. I was told the maintenence man didnt come in until after 4 p.m.The room was cleaned daily but the staff was pretty much indifferent. The pool area is very small and the sun is blocked by the building and palm trees so sunbathing is ptetty much out of the equation as 10 people will fill the area up. The best thing about this location is CIRCUIT E-TRANSPORT. Download it for free/lowcost rides in the area. Oh yeah the beach is a short walk thru the parking lot of the luxury condos across ocean blvd with no chair ir umbrella rental ask front desk for beach towels. Either direction about 1/4 of mile is popular areas for bars/ restaurants/shopping.(lauderdale by sea n gaiway). Bring lysol wipes to wipe down room obviously very used. Overall stay was just Ok but i travel alo ne and can rough it.

This place is older but nicely redone. I was impressed with how nice the courtyard area is and how clean the entire property is.

The only problem I had was the house keeper came into room everyday on my 3 night stay. I didn’t like that. She or he took my towels off the hanger where they were drying AND most importantly took the floor towel off the ground and folded them all and put them all in the closet. Eww.. I had to go down 2 nights to get new towels because I wasn’t sure which was which. I’m renovating my home so I literally come to sleep nothing more. One day I went to the pool because we finished early. My only suggestion and complaint is maybe only do house keeping on request? Other than that my stay was great so 5 stars 😊

The staff were super friendly and helpful. All had an amazing personality especially the manager. The pool was one of my favourite amenities at the hotel. It was warm and clean. I literally stayed in the pool all night. It was nice and warm on its coldest day during my stay.

I give this place 5 starts for what the rates are. Front office staff were great, room was kept spotless by cleaning team and location was perfect for me. Beach is across the street with public access. Groceries were less than a 10 minute walk and was not too far from the airport.

Limited amenities, receptionist only filled coffee and cream half way to slow down people using it. Bartender significantly overcharged 2 people in our group which we could not resolve. Bar was out of common items like diet doda and people that knew the bartender were allowed to come behind the bar to serve themselves. Housekeeping never came to clean our room.

Location! Location! Location! Easy beach access across the street! Close to several restaurants and convenience stores as well as a Winn Dixie. Rooms were dated but clean. Complimentary coffee in the lobby. Staff was super friendly, welcoming after a long day of travel and went above & beyond to accommodate anything we needed. Pool was warm and clean. Tiki bar is a fun time. It has limited days and hours but they let you know that. Unfortunately the on site restaurant was closed, but we are looking forward to trying it on our next visit. If you are looking for a budget friendly beach stay within walking distance to most things you could need and more, this is your place! Thank you for having us. We’ll definitely be back.

It was close to where we needed to be, so that was what really mattered. The room was small, but clean. There was a bar on site, but no food. The fridge and AC were very loud during the night.

The kitchenette had nothing-not a spoon or fork. A full oven/range and full size fridge, but not even a sponge or lick of anything to cook or eat with. The location was A+ but the place had issues with mold or something and needed work. The housekeepers and front desk folks were fantastic.

Great hotel on the galt miles strip, close to lauderdale by the sea square, close by beach access, great staff.

But the positives, it’s a quick walk to the beach, the beds were quite comfortable, the cleaning staff were so sweet and helpful, there is an elevator, there is a tiki bar and Greek food on site.

it was only the middle of September and both eating places on site were closed for the season. one of those was the bar. the beds were hard. the room seemed to have been recently renovated but they missed a key item, no fan in bathroom. oh and if it rained watched out for flooding in parking lot and puddles on the walkways.

The hotel was beyond what I expected. If and when you go to Fort Lauderdale make sure that this is where you will stay.

Great deal! Easy access to beach right across from beach. Parking easy and included with stay. Will be back to do some snorkeling

Great place for the price. Front desk was great, parking was available and location cant be beat. Room could use a refresh especially the shower/toilet. Found hair in the bed so certainly not fresh sheets. That really grossed me out.

It’s was good for the overnight trip

We only stayed one night and was totally fine for that. We had a dead cockroach under the sink, but the room was clean. The pool would need to be cleaned. The outside bar was nice and the cocktails strong. The door was thin/you could hear everything when someone was walking past it. Would recommend this place

The room was spacious and had a full size oven/stove and fridge. It was just basic but would be great for a family. The beds were not comfortable though we have a very soft squishy bed so it was rough sleeping on them. AC worked great, check in and out was fast and easy. Decent location you have to walk about a block up to cross the road and get to the beach

Honestly, checkin was through a small outside window but the attendant was very friendly! And, it’s a convenient location - one direction to a grocery and pharmacy, and the other to some cute restaurants! Close to beach, friendly staff and convenient to necessities.

The people were very nice and accommodating! Was able to get early check in and it's a very short walk to the beach. They also provided beach towels and had a collection of beach chairs for us to borrow.

The place was in a great spot close to a lot. No coffee maker showers onlynnhad a lil issue..

It is a older hotel and could use some updates,but was clean and staff was friendly. Could use a trashcan in bathroom and hooks to hang up towels. The kids enjoyed the pool.

The pool is really good especially for the price. Rooms are a little bit outdated but they are definitely clean and full of accommodations… staff is extremely nice, knowledgeable, and willing to help 24/7. Very happy with my stay!

The building is definitely older and could use some updates the room had an unpleasant odor. At times, especially at night, it was hard to find staff — it seemed like no one was around or they had gone to sleep. However, the location is great — just a short walk to the beach, and the area feels very safe, which I appreciated.

Had a good one night stay here. Cleaning products smelled a little strong but the room was nice and the bartender at the tiki bar was great. Close to the beach, but I didn’t love the surrounding area.

Beautiful place to visit.

Beds were uncomfortable. Bathroom too small. Toiletries very poor. A bit Noisy. And the photos and description made me think it was located on the beach, but you actually have to walk across the road a ways to get to the beach. Pool and tiki bar also look bigger in the photos.

The property was very clean that’s about it. The hotel needs to update their website. The restaurant is not open and there is no continental breakfast the bar is only open Wednesday through Sunday and closed earlier than advertised the pictures are deceiving the place is older and a little run down the overflow parking behind the building is terrible there were used comdoms and broken glass everywhere and the road is so small that you can barely get out

Property is older and rooms aged. Parking is a mess. Spots in back are tight tight tight. That said they keep the place clean and the staff was friendly. A good night at a lower price than most near the beach.

The property was very charming. It shows its age a little bit my room was clean and all the fixtures were updated. The staff were are wonderful and friendly. The location is perfect. I didn’t even rent a car for my stay and that saved me so much money. I could get to everywhere I wanted easily. I could walk to the beach in just a moment. Dining options and delivery. It was a couple blocks to walk are a 3 min ride to almost anything I could want for food and shopping.

Free parking and less than five minutes to walk to a beautiful beach—yes, please! This hotel is a great place to stay, with check-in at any time and a late check-out time that provides plenty of flexibility for travelers. We stayed here for a few days before getting on a cruise in Miami. It was a great compromise for being less crowded, cheaper, and easier to navigate than Miami while still having lots of fun activities nearby, being such a nice, chill place to stay, and close enough to drive to our cruise and make it on time. We'd definitely stay here again!

This is my second time staying here,its a little out dated but convenient for beach and dining out. All within walking distance.

We really liked this hotel, it reflected old Florida and in general, the building and patio areas, pool area were very substantial, masonry and stone, palms, lush plants, nautical pieces. Rooms were very good with little to no noise from adjacent rooms. Beach across the street and a few blocks to lively restaurants, bars.

The pictures online were deceiving. The hotel looked really run down. In person . Outside balconies all had leaks and water dripping. The first room we received smelt like mold-We asked for another room. The second room had stain on sheets, no iron, no coffee maker, - our room keys had to be replaced 3 times because they didn’t work. The safe in the room didn’t work- it wouldn’t lock and it didn’t have instructions on it like most hotels. The blackout curtains let in a lot of light. They have a restaurant attached that has been closed for two years so it is false advertising. The tiki bar is only open from 5pm-12 - closed on Monday and Tuesday- the people in the office were very nice, but did charge us $89 more for the stay because he was 13- they said over 10 is a charge- it’s ridiculous- he didn’t add to the electric bill at all. The bartender Mario was the best part of the stay. It was very disappointing

This is a nice property to have a quick trip. The staff is really amazing. The bed is extremely hard, but that's how i like them. I would stay again.

Location perfect, beach close across to street!

There was a rundown tiki bar on the premises, the pool was dilapidated. This place needs a major overhaul. They charge prices that are competitive with surrounding hotels yet their product is far so far inferior.

The rooms were not updated like they said, our toilet tank like exploded water and then the next room the toilet barely flushed. There was 0 water pressure and the doors scraped the floor. Won’t be staying there again

Nothing fancy but a great location and price! Right across the street from the beach!

I stayed 1 night and the next morning I woke up with bed bug bites, the room had a weird smell to it as well

It's was great the room was great and the reception was awesome the beach across the street and all the attractions were very easy to get to.

I thought this was on the beach I was wrong it is a close enough walk however, Pool was small and cute everytime we went we were alone which is nice , $50 more for early check in but worth it to not carry things around ! Recommend dinning/drinking at ocean manor it’s right on the beach !!

Looking at the online pictures I expected something a lil nicer. The room gave me a motel type of vibe. The bed was kind of hard and low to the floor. We were getting ready to go to a dinner party when we noticed there was no iron or ironing board so I called for one only to be told they didn't have any. Only good part was the hotel having convenient access to the beach.

Pictures on line are very deceiving. Gyro place not open, pool very dirty, Tiki bar open only in the evening for a few hours. No breakfast, it was stated on line. Even thought I put “pay at hotel” on my reservation, my money was withdrawn 3 days prior which is probably not legal

The pictures of the hotel are very deceiving. Both beds were full here like they did not change the sheets and musty odor inside. I left after an hour.

It was the first timw staying here. Wasnt sure how it would be for the price it was beyond what i thought. Minutes walk to the beach friendly staff cleqn rooms.

I loved how we were only minutes away from everything either way but had the quaintness like we were secluded because of all the trees. The beach was a quick walk across the street. I definitely picked the best place to stay which is hard to do by just looking at pictures our room was spacious had everything we needed except a coffee pot for my husband. Spent 7 days here the staff took care of our room everyday. Reasonable rates and comfortable definitely will come back here ..

It is an older place but very clean. We stopped for one night to be close to the airport. Great spot with restraunts and the beach a couple of blocks away. Good stop.

The check in person was the friendliest I have ever encountered. He was knowledgeable and helpful. They have a bar on premises. The bartender was exceptional. I absolutely recommend staying here. I will be back!

The pool was nice out was heated, the room was average, nothing fabulous, there wasn't enough bedding, just a sheet and a thin blanket, it had a restaurant sign but no restaurant, it was a few blocks from some restaurant in a cute area and close to the beach

The floor in the room left our feet black after we walked barefoot, the maids never mopped. The maids didn’t come for 2 days. Then we realized we had to leave the room by 9:30 AM, for them to come. The sheets felt thin, pithy and old. The pillows uncomfortable. It was not a pleasant stay.

Our stay was great for a long weekend! The beds leave something to be desired comfort wise and the pillows are quite worn out but you get what you pay for. Location was easy for going to the beach and if you wanted you could walk to the main part of town. The pool was heated which was great for Feb! The tiki bar was a nice touch! Housekeeping did a fantastic job.

I waited it out hoping to get a little quiet and sun but they left too late. Even in my room I could hear them! Was my 2nd time at the property and won’t return as a result of having my day ruined. Very disappointed.

Front desk was super accommodating. The beach access is right across the street. Short walk to the main lauderdale by the sea section of town which has all restaurants etc. Room is dated but the price is right and location is good.

Everyone was very friendly but the place (especially the room) looks as though it has not been cleaned very well in a very long time. And, we could not use the pool because people had put their stuff on every chair (reserving them).

Old tired hotel with cheap single person room specials that attracted a lot of scary individuals. Area was nice.
