The room was clean but there was no attendant i text the whole time i was there but the hotel was clean had no problems

. The room was horrid! It had mold, things broken, paint peeling, a deformed mattress on the bed, no light working except in the bathroom, etc. We just half-closed our eyes to it all and went to bed. The condition of that room should have disqualified the motel from being in business. I think people who wrote good reviews of this motel were blind or else drugged when they wrote them.

This is an old hotel tucked in amongst all the extremely nice hotels along the main beach road. It does the job. All we needed was a place to crash for the night. Nothing special. Would we stay here again? Yes.

Thanks hotel motel Lauderdale Inn for the true southern hospitality. The staff is a great mother and daughter team. The beach access was wonderful. The room is perfect for us. Only the water pressure is a little low. Looking forward to returning and staying again soon.

Literally nothing about this stay was positive. I recieved multiple messaged from Expedia asking me to submit my license and it wouldn't work. No one was available when we arrived and the woman gave us a key pad code on arrival. The room was a large open window to the pool area and I was honestly concerned for our safety. I am requesting a refund from expedia. DON'T DO IT.

We were allocated 2 poolside rooms, 5 and 9 ?. Both were in need of at upgrade, the rooms had full lenght window looking out to pool giving no privacy, the doors had combination locks which were temperamental and we felt were not secure. Safety was a big concern. The bedding was well used, especially the pillows, one room had a punch hole in the headboard, beds were far below average, shower was old and worn out, hairs found in one of the beds. We did not stay and found accommodation elsewhere. I felt the website and photos very misleading. No one was at reception when we arrived, nice lady showed us to the rooms but motel definitely not worth the money they wanted

Stayed for the night for a concert, great staff, easy check in. Clean, close to everything

Our flight was delayed several hours. There is not a real person there to answer calls and no one at the front desk. We couldn't check into our room because the policy is to email the property with your ID for a code to check in but no email was ever provided. We had to find accommodations elsewhere and were still charged. Horrible management.

Room was very dirty (you could see the room had never been cleaned more than a sweep/mop), no fence around pool and no locks on door that are child proof (just a lock on the keypad thing which is very easy to open, but no additional locks higher up on the door for example), no room service, very tight bathroom. Overall it’s a very cheap place and it shows. The beds are uncomfortable. You do get what you pay for… but I wouldn’t stay here again. Especially because I was worried that my toddler would get out and fall in the pool right outside our door.

Room definitely not up to par. One bed was kinda gross glad there was 2 beds. Smoke detector was removed and wires were sticking out. Coffee, but no coffee maker. Shower did not work, was told had to pull real hard but I feared I would break it. We had to fix the toilet to flush. Cute location. Not happy and won’t refund anything.

No staff at check in so we had to find another hotel. We phoned their number multiple times over 2 hours and got no answer to our calls or voicemails. There is no security at this hotel and anyone can walk into the hotel buildings and corridors and even use the pool. Place should be shut down!

Very clean room and nice pool. Across the street from the beach. Check in instructions were texted the day of check in and easy to understand. The ONLY reason for 4 stars is that there isn't an elevator and we were on the 2nd floor with heavy luggage.

Keep in mind this is a budget hotel, no frills. The room was plain, small bathroom, decent condition. Unfortunately there was no heat, only cooling. Being in Florida this is not generally a problem, but I went on the coldest weekend, lows in 30s and 40s, and the room was very cold in the morning. It was okay as I just needed a place to sleep. I arrived early and no one was at the office until 3pm wheich is check-in time.. the staff was nice.

Never got in my room they gave a mobile check over the had me paid for the room,but after arriving from 8nhour drive they never sent me my mobile check in code to get in my room then the front desk was close for the rest of the night horrible service call the number on the front one never answered would never ever stay here nor e to see ever recommend this place to nobody not even a dog.

The staff were all super friendly though, our lock stopped working and they came right away to help us. Multiple people staying there saw us waiting for help and said the same thing happened with their lock…

It wasn’t poor-but it wasn’t great either. Positives: Totally safe neighborhood. Staff on site most of the time. Easy access to the beach. It was clean. Kerug of coffee, microwave and fridge. Negatives: You get what you pay for. Small bed. Outdated. Basic bathroom. Far from Las Olas. Felt a little questionable but we came home with no bugs and a good store to tell.

This is a very minimalistic hotel. The front desk staff NIKKI was very nice and professional. We were able to pay extra for a late check out. Very convenient location. Nothing fancy but doable.

The bed didn't have a box springs. Only wood slats under a mattress. The room was very small and the bed was situated in a way that it wax impossible to close the door into the bathroom. Room was on the second floor with no elevator. I had two forty+ pound bags and to lug them up there.

The excellent customer service was amazing there. I would definitely return anytime I’m down in florida visiting. Although it was a last minute booking Nikki made sure she took care of me in the changes I ask her for and the best part she made sure she gave me an opportunity to check in early for Christmas which was a huge plus and upgraded are room as well thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

This site is a scam. No staff. Not a hotel.It is a two storey old inn. No elevator. Had to carry my luggage two flights of stairs. The bed is very old. I had to sleep on a bed made of coil springs. WPRST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

A true motel from the 60’s. The price definitely doesn’t match the accommodations. I actually slept outside in a lounge chair

Easy instructions and location

Room was clean and bed looked new. Very old and basic in every other way but all I needed was a place to sleep and this fit the bill for a great price. Looked to be one restaurant about 1-2 blocks away but nothing in neighborhood visible in the dark. Residential area with tall condos on beach across street.

My stay was great! The hotel is clean and quiet. The pool isn’t crowded and the place is a hidden gem. The staff here is so nice. Next time I need a little vacation from life or if I need to work on my home again this is the place I will choose

I understand that you get what you pay for, but I believe there should be some standards of cleanliness and amenities at any lodging accomodation. Ex: Towels were dirty, the fridge was leaking, never got any toilet paper and the front desk was almost always never available.

I am an older man and I was looking to take a trip tp ft Lauderdale and single. I do not require or desire to spend more then needed-as all I need is a bed/shower/internet. The interior is aged but the bed was comfy and very quiet day/night. Its a thumbs up for me and plan on going back in 3 weeks. location is EXCELLENT -great waterfront restaurant across the street. Beach is 5 min walk and bar hopping 30 min

Can't go wrong for a weekend getaway it is not the Sheraton or the Hilton, but it is located in a very nice area with the beach right across the street.

Positives: - Beach access crossing the street - A couple of restaurants/bars several hotels down across the street and about 1/2 mile walk for an outdoor strip mall with a bit more variety. -Front Desk lady very sweet and helpful. - Has a pool. Cons - Loud AC where I could barely hear the TV. - The Toilet handle barely flushed and had to lift the lid to reset the toilet. Yuck! - No dresser, alarm clock, phone for front desk, desk. Pretty bare. - The Bed was almost like a cot. - There was a constant puddle by the AC, it seems water was dropping from the unit.. Bottom line, it is a shabby unit for sure. But if your there to hit the beach budget style, not a bad deal at all.

Th very impersonal service you get a text with a code for your door. You will not see any staff there. The pool is broken. The water is yellow only saving Grace. Is there a real nice boutique hotel across the street called Sun resort with a great little breakfast lunch bar right on the beach. honestly for a few dollars more I would stay there.

The hotel was good. All I needed was a place to stay for two nights. I was enjoying the beach and the sights. The location is amazing. The hotel is a little run down but great service. And definitely a good bang for your buck!

Check in was easy and the woman was so sweet (wish I got her name). The parking lot is small and easy to miss so be watching carefully. We loved our room but it is small. We were comfortable as a family of 3 and enjoyed our short time.

Convenient and quiet.

The property was a average hotel- taken over by new management 3 years ago. It has a nice sundeck and it is smoking outside friendly. The staff leaves in the afternoon so if something happens like our last day we had no electric to our room so no one came to fix it but it did not matter cause we were leaving that day.

We had such a great time here. Yes, it is small and not "up to date" but it was so cute and comfortable. It was right across from the beach - cute little restaurant across the street and we even walked to one about .5 mile away. The service was AMAZING - it was a great price for our stay for the weekend. The only problem we had was we could not get out of the parking lot in the morning it was really tight.

They said they couldn't help me ordering a taxi, so I had to do that. Then the taxi didn't come and I was completely panicking. One of the staff helped me which was nice. I did get to my ship eventually but was frantic. Also, not their fault but there was a marathon outside their hotel that morning, which complicated everything. On the whole, very stressful but not entirely their fault.

The property is old . the room is basic, not much furniture and it is poor. The area outside the property is upscale and the beach close. The staff is not there all the time.

The room was so small two people could barely move. It had one electric receptacle for the TV, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, and chargers for our phones and computer. We had to unplug the refrigerator to use something else, it was like Green Acres TV show. It was a great location but the price was four times what it was worth. I would advise, stay any where but here. They have no one in the office after about 6 pm. I talked to others there and they had no hot water buyt my room did.

Internet service on and off. This morning fire alarm at 7:30 AM waking up all residents and ringing fo almost an hour.

I honestly didn’t stay for the time that I booked the room for. I arrived a little after 4pm, no one was inside the office. I had help from a nice lady sitting poolside. The room didn’t meet my expectations or standards at all. The bedsheets had crumbs and dirt on it. I showered, changed, left & went to a concert. Came back, took my bags to my car and left. Came back to my place in Homestead. I just accepted the loss and I know better the next time. The only positive thing about the hotel for me is that it’s directly across the street from the beach. But, I was too disappointed to enjoy that.

I would not recommend. I booked for one night only. In the room I found a huge roach lying on its back on the floor near one of the beds. I did not sleep at all because I feared I would see another roach. The room was entirely too small. The bathroom was awful. There was nothing in the room (no telephone in the room in case of an emergency, no dresser, no closet, no bottle of water, no coffee). There were only a couple electrical wall outlets. The face cloths need replacing. I refused to use the shower. /The toilet did not flush well. There was a dirty toilet plunger next to the toilet and also a messy container with something in it that appeared to be old white paint and a stiff paint brush. There was a nasty looking sink stopper sitting on the sink and nothing covered the sink drain hole where the stopper should have been. I am not accustomed to rooms like that. This was an awful experience for me.

The outlets didnt work. So the lamps didnt work. 1 working outlet for the tv, fridge and microwave. Rooms are VERY small. Room was clean with no bugs, though we did find hair on the bathroom counter. Service staff seems to be MIA after 5 or so.

no one was there for check in, i called number 4 times beofre getting a hold of someone waited outside room for 30 mins for door code then they charged me multiple times and someone got back to me the following night 24hrs later with door code and diffrnet room which i was already in tampa by then. i tryed to reach them with very little luck i was not happy

Not an enjoyable experience.

It was an older, quaint hotel and it was very clean. The ocean was right across the street. Very nice running/walking path right beside the hotel. We would definitely stay there again!

We arrived late Friday night, i had reserved a room with 2 double beds to only have 1 bed. The next morning they did switch out room. The pool was extremely low in water, there never seemed to be a home in the office. The office did sell ice but there was no where to store the bag of ice in your room. We had no hot water in our room the whole weekend. On the bright side we were less than a block from the beach which was nice and quiet. Sadly, there were no stores or restaurants sold so we had to Uber everywhere

This hotel was such an amazing experience! It's in such a great location the beach entrance is literally across the street it's a prime location for a loweky swim or the Beach strip is a 10 minute car ride if you want a crowd. They are amazingly staffed great customer service my favorite was the Irish man make sure to have a conversation with him! The hotel provides some basics such as towels, sun cooling gel, shampoo, a microwave, a small fridge, and a fire stick TV. The terrace space is great I love spending time there. Overall such an amazing stay I really enjoyed my time and recommend it!

This property had received high ratings so was VERY disappointed to check in and find it subpar. No bureau in room, no free ice, shower difficult to turn on (couldn't figure it out) needed a plunger that staff had difficulty finding and it was half broken, light bulb missing, toilet roller missing, Room was shabby. Unfortunately we had cold weather so were not able to use the pool, sit outside or go to the beach. I would give them 1.5 stars. Good TV and check in staff very pleasant.

The staff was so friendly and helpful but they weren’t always around. They stored our luggage free of charge for the day after check out and our room was clean. But the motel itself was run down, the pool wasn’t heated so in December it was cold. The beds were too soft, but the sheets were clean. The AC was loud but it did work ok though our window and room filled with a lot of condensation. The pod coffee maker didn’t work, the fridge was super noisy and didn’t work well. We stayed 2 nights and housekeeping was friendly but never actually cleaned our room, she supplied us fresh towels when requested. The TV remote didn’t work for scrolling to the right which made watching difficult and the beds were sideways to the tv so it was hard to view. Toiletries were supplied and the bathroom was clean. The other guests were out or walking through the courtyard late into the night, this motel attracts a rowdy bunch. It has an ok upper patio with bbq’s but we didn’t use those.

I was terribly disappointed. I read many reviews that were positive but did not accurately reflect my experience. Check in was smooth, staff very pleasant. Grounds not nice at all. Pool area table was dirty with an ashtray that hadn't been cleaned out since about 1980. Fence looked like it was about to fall over. Pool clean but cold. Outside room door #106 looked like it had been broken into a few times. Inside the room sparse at best. Pillow cases and spread looked old, worn, dirty. The smell of bleach overwhelming and made my eyes burn. Had I not been so tired that alone made me want to leave. Bathroom had only towels and half a roll of toilet paper. Not even a bar of soap although she brought me some right away when I called. I had dropped something that went under the bed and there was an old water bottle under it. Sink didn’t look clean. I didn’t even try the shower. It didn’t look good either. No outlets in bathroom. The best thing I can say about the room is I didn’t see any bugs. I would not recommend this place. I don’t need a 5 star hotel but this was bad. Spend your money elsewhere.

If you're looking for for huge and/or fancy then look elsewhere. If you're looking for a clean room in a great location at a great price with an amazing staff to take care of you then definitely stay here!!!!! Pool was chilly but it didn't seem to bother our kids at all. 2 minute walk to the beach and good food choices within 5 minute walk.

this is a great spot to stay. vintage feel, very clean, friendly staff, and location across from beach is ideal, ofcourse. it’s due for a little updating, but that added to the “vintage florida” vibe. even though the building is older, newer furniture and tile floors meant there was zero off odors in the rooms. this is always my husbands first measure of hotel quality. both roomssmelled amazing and we’re not smoky or stale smelling at all. also, i was concerned about potential party noise on a saturday night ( because we came with our young kids), but thankfully we didn’t hear a peep from any neighboring rooms, so we must have hit a good weekend. more than satisfactory, if your not looking for something glamorous.

This is an old Florida style 50s type motel, tucked in amongst condos. Excellent beach access right across the street. Julianna our front desk hostess was so friendly and engaging. She set the tone for a nice overnight stay. Clean comfortable simple room.
