The location and the price Checking in was a cluster. The front desk staff were slammed and they needed more help. They had to physically go check if rooms were clean instead of the system being updated to assist their tasks. This is not fair to them to have people angry for tasks that were out of their control. Chanel was fantastic at keeping her professionalism and working her butt off to handle everything. Especially the way people were treating her, she deserves the praise in a difficult situation that shouldn’t have happened.

i was charged for parking and i didn't have a car. no one told me about this and it just was billed to my credit card. very poor service. please reverse charges. Also there are a lot of homeless people on the streets which is a nuisance.

The breakfast was very good. The place was very organized and clean. The room was very clean, as well. The staff was very kind. In the bathroom, I faced an issue with the tub spout with diverter. It was very hard to make it work. But, I got. The maintenance team needs to be more carefull about the hotel devices.

However I will add that seeing Amanda at breakfast singing and greeting everyone with a "cheery good morning" was the highlight to start off the day. As she related to me this morning, 'you never know what someone else is going through' so she's doing what she can to help. God bless you Amanda and continue being a "light" in this world. AC is dirty, you can smell the dust and need to be clean it makes you sick and no fresh air. Water was cold when shower and everything in bathroom was wet because there was not a curtain on. Not worth the price with the basics that needs be checked.

The room was really nice( microwave and mini refrigerator) and the amenities as well. WiFi was available, breakfast options were great, the pool area was nice and there was a floaty for my daughter to use, and the gym area was good as well. The staff was very helpful as well when we needed to get additional towels and garbage bags.

No water in the morning. It was something with a broken pipe that affected the whole neighborhood but they should have back up? Couldn’t shower or brush out teeth. Breakfast service was also disrupted.

The beds were nice but not as comfortable and me and my family were okay staying there because we had just got off a 7 day cruise and was just relaxing until we were ready to go back home soon. There was a someone, a staff member that was smoking in the bathroom and made everyone get out their beds and sleep twice and said it was a false alarm because of this. All the wanted to offer me is points instead of money of which was ridiculous. I probably won’t be coming back here no time soon.

Our stay with Hampton Inn Ft. Lauderdale was great. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and the room was very clean, common spaces were also left very clean. Since we were visiting, we did not have a vehicle, but a bus station was very close by and made getting around the city much easier. Our hotel was in a quieter area, which gave us some peace when we were sleeping, but was also walkable to tons of food, which we enjoyed. While they personally do not offer an airport shuttle, they do have the numbers of companies that will bring you to the airport, but we did not utilize this service.

Only one person had to handle very busy drinks, snacks, dinner. Check in efficient, but very sad that a shabby homeless-type was begging for items.

Early check in was very welcome and the room was comfortable with a small well stocked kitchen. Decor felt rather dated with a few chips and bumps but it was fine. Breakfast for us was pretty grim, cheap and nasty with polystyrene plates and plastic cutlery. Breakfast room was busy and noisy and Food was cheap and overly sweet- wouldn’t bother next time.

We stood in the lobby watching people and people groups after groups check in and the only two groups who could not check in were Canadians, this is deplorable and we would never stay at this hotel again I will leave a full review on trip advisor when I return home

hotel to let them know we were delayed so we would arrive late. The room was pre paid few weeks earlier. When we got there there was one lady at the front desk and no other guests. It took over an hour to get our keys to the room. The excuse was they had problems with their computers

Outdated resort; unwelcoming front desk staff; assigned to a room never cleaned; fitness room had about 5 machines, again, outdated, rusted or broken. Extra daily charges to pay for anything offered at resort. When you book to stay here, you’re basically securing a room with a bed. Parking, amenities, access to anywhere at resort… all out of your pocket.

The front desk lady Crystal was very welcoming and lovely when we checked in. The rooms were immaculate and very spacious. Good water pressure in the shower and soft towels. The beds were super comfy, especially the pillows. The breakfast was outstanding, with the workers going above and beyond to keep everything stocked. The pool area was very nice and the family enjoyed the little games out there. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Check out was seamless. We also appreciated the dog walking area with convenient trash and waste bags available. We will be back for sure.

As soon as we walkies in we were greeted and then on to check in which was quick and painless. The room was clean and quiet. There is a fridge and microwave which is very handy. I didn't get a chance to have breakfast sadly. But I enjoyed my stay and will be back soon!

The area is desolate- vacant construction lot next door/ did not stay- not as close to las olas. We were 2 elderly women and we didn’t even get out of car- left.

The hotel was fine, however, I ended up w/trip insurance for $9 ,which I did not elect & I never rec’d the promised refund.

I know the water is kind of yellowish, I read the sign in the room. Still, kind of not something I’m used to when I travel.

The front desk was very welcoming and allowed us to get our room a little early. Brittany at the bar did an awesome job at the bar. She remembered what we had ordered the previous night. Only complaint was that we noticed that whoever cleaned the room emptied the trash can into the toilet. Batteries do not flush.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Brittney was very customer-friendly while managing the restaurant in the evenings. The restaurant featured great chicken wings and fries, and a good selection of beers. The complementary breakfast was another excellent amenity. The pool was also well-maintained. We stayed here before a cruise from Port Everglades and we were near some very good restaurants.

The coffee provided in room was terrible!!! There is a $50 per night security fee refundable that we were unaware of. They charge over $20 for parking which we were unaware of also.

From we arrived there was an issue with the toilet flushing. The first person who attempted to fix this accused me of “using too much paper” I was insulted knowing the toilet never flushed properly from start. It took two days an a more qualified person to find the cause and remedy the problem. Never the less, this was a huge blow to our experience. Conversely the front desk was awesome and the reason why my review only omitted 1 star.

Property is very nice and was clean. The only issue I had was a strong lysol smell on the pillows and sheets. Like housekeeping sprayed it all on the bed. Other than that I had a good stay. Deposit was $50 and parking was $28.

Its a good Hotel, not great. I think they were doing construction on the 5th and 6th floor. The property does charge $28 for parking which i think is absurd. not much around the hotel. If your looking for a spot to crash for a day or two for cheap this is a great spot. but for long term and the parking I don't think its worth it. The free breakfast is on point as well.

The room is very good, comfortable and clean. The location is good and the staff is very friendly. I really liked the breakfast. The hotel is doing construction work, which I didn't know until I arrived. The noise of hammers, drills and other tools is loud. My room was on the 7th floor and I felt that the walls vibrated as if the work were in the next room. If you plan to get up late and spend time in the hotel, take this into consideration. If you leave early and return after 6pm you shouldn't have problems.

There was construction going on the property main floor and noise started early in the morning. It would've been appreciated if a communication was shared about the construction in advance of the stay; to provide warning and notice. The hotel is within walking distance to a Publix and restaurants, which is convenient.

I don’t like knowing that there’s construction major construction going on in a hotel I could’ve stayed at many other hotels. I think it was completely unfair and I won’t stay to Hampton.

Accommodating sitting areas and restrooms throughout the main areas in hotel; rooms were clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast was olrite not to get excited , staff were friendly and resourceful. Surrounded with easy to get to restaurants-stores, and major roads.

The hotel itself was very nice, I enjoyed the breakfast and the pool. The employees were also very goof. The outside of the property wasn't the best. A lot of homeless people were right outside. The parking was a problem, I wasn't aware that it was #28/night. My last 3 days there they were having work done, the front lobby wasn't easily accessible.

Customer service was outstanding. All employees from the desk staff to the maintenance crew were dedicated to providing a high level of customer service. Requests for assistance were responded to quickly and professionally.

Very clean hotel, staff was amazing even seeing them down a hallway or in the elevator. Our 4 year old enjoyed the pool and we loved dining at a nearby Flanigan’s restaurant which was very family friendly.

You will be charged for a parking spot even if you don’t have a car. Very Late deposit refunds.

Poorly managed Hampton Inn. Had an unattended dog in the room next door that barked incessantly starting early morning. Management could do nothing except make me move to another room, which is an inconvenience having to repack everything. Housekeeping apparently thought my bag (a large reusable type grocery bag) was garbage and threw it out. Management never really provided an explanation, just “we can’t find it”. The worst thing is nothing was ever offered to compensate me for all this; no “have a free drink at the bar” or anything. Great location, horrible place to stay.

Property is nice. The only thing I noticed is that they are masking the smell of mold in some of the rooms. Friendly staff, located within driving distance to many places and i-95!

The breakfast is the best aspect, with everything appearing very fresh and a wide variety of choices. The staff at the breakfast station are incredibly friendly and kind, especially towards my child.

I liked having a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Bed was comfortable.

Thank you to all the staff for this amazing memorable service!! Will be back. Theres a beautiful pool area, an attached garage for $28 a day which was the only annoying charge but worth it. The hotel is exactly 9 mins from the airport, 13 mins from the beach. 6 mins from Las Olas., 40 mins from south beach.. perfect deal if you ask me. The only negatice if that id say is the rooms have limited storage. For 2 pf us though itwas ok. But if you're a larger group it may be a problem. Theres a fridge and refrigerater in the room. The morning breakfast is pretty decent. Get your day going for sure with many options. Thank you again!!

Modern, clean , quiet , I have stayed in a lot of Hamptons this one is nice only thing is parking is not free think it was about$28.00 dollars but there is a lot of places in Ft. Lauderdale where pkg is not free.

Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed to find out the hotel was not renovated and has the worst mattress and pillows in addition to other challenges. If I could have changed hotels, I would have. I expect much better from the Hampton Inn Brand.

Great location in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Staff were all very friendly. Rooms and bed very comfortable.

Liked the pool area and was in walking distance to the Las Olas shopping district. Would have liked a place to refill water though.

Very clean

The staff went above and beyond, first to fix my television and then to offer my team a private room to work on a joint presentation. Shawnee was particularly amazing. She made me feel right at home, was great at communication, and made me feel like part of the family. I will come back just for her! The IT tech who helped with the TV fix was also very nice.

Service was excellent as my first room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, and the night manager gave me a new room. Also, some of the best continental breakfast. There was an outlet near the beds that constantly made a sound, and the bathtub faucet dripped; other than that, pretty good experience

Good reataurants and night life within walking distanxe but just felt unsafe walking . Lots of homeless people
