    The location The hotel is over sold on quality. My room was dirty, floors were sticky and corners of the room you could see the dirt. The bathroom door handle was missing, yes missing. The tissue box had several tissues in it and no replacement. They also required a $35 resort fee a day which is not clear when booking. Overall very disappointed.

    We definitely enjoyed our stay. The property has a lot to offer, including Sparrow o. The top of the hotel and the Lobby Bar on the sixth floor. The valets were helpful with my limitations walking to and from the car. Housekeeping really displayed patience with our getting out of the room Saturday.

    I’ve stayed here about five times before. However, this time I had an issue with housekeeping. In the morning, I requested my room to be cleaned and went out for a run. When I returned around 8 a.m., everything was cleaned but the bed had not been made and there were no bed sheets on it — just the mattress. We still had about 5–6 hours before checkout, so the bed could have been used. When I pointed this out at checkout, the front desk simply said “sorry.” Considering that the rate was around $500 per night, I expected a higher standard of housekeeping service.

    Breakfast was excellent, staff were fantastic and facilities were spotless. The restaurant downstairs was closed for a private function, the roof restaurant was nice but noisy as it doubles as a club with DJ and not our cup of tea.

    Our stay was overall okay, staff service was amazing. Transportation to the beach was provided, and we also had access to the Ritz Carlton beach club. The hotel was in a nice area walking distance to food and grocery store. The only drawback was that the showers were very difficult to figure out, and there was back mold present.

    It was in an area close to the bars and restaurants. Some open as late as 4 a.m. and ut 2 blocks from the nite life. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very nice and roomy. My room had an extra bathroom and living room area. So comfy and good view of Fort Lauderdale and the lobby bar is beautiful and welcoming. Very pretty property and amenities. They gave us toothpaste and tpothbrush on request.

    The safe battery in my room was dead and the blackout curtains wouldn’t completely close - both issues were resolved immediately. I wasn’t able to connect to the room specific WiFi, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. A slight issue with my balance at checkout -they corrected the error and the manager on duty was helpful and explained everything. The breakfast options are delicious! Great vibe with professional and friendly staff.

    It is unacceptable in an hotel at that price to come back after a long day of work and have your room NOT CLEANED!! I will reconsider staying there wg=hen coming for my regular meetings in FL.     I have been to this hotel many times in the past and have always loved everything. The restaurants are great, the service is great. I was eager to book it again, no hesitation. I had to switch rooms on night one as my shower didn’t get hot, nor did the shower head fully work. Night two (and thankfully last) had an awful noise that woke me multiple times. It sounded like perhaps creaky pipe work? Extremely loud and random - went on for two minutes or so about five times throughout the night. I have loved this hotel for years, however I am extremely let down and will no longer be choosing to stay here. How disappointing !

    The beds were ok. The room was fairly clean. We were overcharged $50 on the bill and had to spend our time at the front desk. The bathroom was short on supplies - one Kleenex left, not enough towels etc. ordered a generic mixed drink st the bar and the bartender decided to make a $45 Old Fashioned.

    Coffee and most staff were friendly. Most terrible experience in all my years of travelling. Cruel front desk lady who was absolutely terrible. Moved rooms three times due to elevator noise and other issues. I don't even want to write this review thinking about the horror again. Not just normal elevator noise continual banging all night of cables even with earplugs you can still hear it. Awful. Never again.

    The room was filthy! The bed comforter had brown stains all over it, there was no fitted sheet there was only a very thin sheet over the mattress which kept coming off as I was trying to sleep. One of the sheets even had a whole in it… The entire room smelled of sewage and the bathroom door kept getting stuck. you also advertise the room as “ocean suite” but you cannot see any kind of ocean view so why am I paying $420 per night… I need some kind of refund because that experience was the worse I’ve ever encountered staying at a Marriott property.

    This was a last minute booking and by last minute I mean 8 in the morning last minute. I arrived at the hotel just 30 minutes after booking expecting to just hang out in the lobby until check in being that it was so early in the morning. Tanasha at the front was heaven sent, after explaining to her the terrible experience that I had, that bought me to The Dalmar, she was so very kind enough to put me in a room as soon as she finished checking me in. She has no idea how much that meant to me. Please tell her as I already have that she is greatly appreciated and thank you.

    Loved the lobby area and restaurants.. room was not all the hype. Bathroom was dirty & not clean..paper coffee cups were dirty. Room was not divided between living room and bedroom like the photos. Nobody helped with our bags checking in or out - no bell hop. The receptionist also wasnt that friendly & welcoming. They say they give you complimentary water, coffee and a bunch of other things like bikes and beach chairs but at the end charged $25 a night for it. When i called she said did you get a pink card that shows whats included.. thats what was charged.. so not complimentary. Ill be back but not to stay.

    Great dining/bar options, breakfast was great lovely waitress. Room was clean just a few things broken that should be addressed. Clean and modern facilities. Only downside was the check in staff making me feel like I was a nuisance to them, very unfortunate as this was my first impression. I was also interrupted twice the morning of my check out by housekeeping knocking at the door so this needs to be improved.

    The Dalmatian has exceeded my expectations. Really enjoyed my stay with the hotel benefits and amenities. The rooftop bar was so fun with great house music.     Check-in was great, staff were very helpful and respectful. The room advertises ocean view….but all we experienced was a view of the street and buildings. The room was okay, but not 5 star and the floors were dirty in the bath area Had to put a towel down leaving shower and sliding the towel from shower area to sink, displayed a lot of dirt on the sliding towel.     However the elevators were horrible, often waiting 10 minutes to go down, or up, felt unsafe and constantly had to redo request because it kept saying invalid request to go down. Additionally lobby cafe was weird, had a staff member take my credit card saying they can’t charge my room and ran away with my card and did not return with no other staff at bar area or the lobby. Saw multiple guests waiting to order as well. Felt understaffed, but once original bartender returned she was amazing and provided great customer service and apologized for any inconvenience and finally tracked down my credit card too. While the staff was friendly and gave good recommendations for places around the hotel to try and explore, the hotel itself was not great especially for paying extra for a “suite”. I will not return to this hotel next time I’m visiting Fort Lauderdale.

    Hotel is modern with partnerships with Ritz for beach chair and shuttle services to and from. Located close to restaurants whilr also providing good cuisine at the hotel as well.

    I loved the fact that it’s so modern and valet parking is amazing. The property is unique and secure. Lobby staff was amazing. Bar staff were really nice. This hotel’s is amazing. I can’t wait to stay here again.

    This place has become a new favorite. It was not too crowded on a holiday, great location, outstanding service. Prices were a bit high for food but the portions were large. Drink prices were high as well by the pool and could have been stronger.

    The staff was friendly and the room was fine. There could be better signage around the property as there is more than one hotel in the same space. I got lost checking in, started to check into the wrong hotel, but they promised me an upgrade to my proper hotel. They told me where to wait for my room to be ready. I waited past check-in time, and the room was not an upgrade. Still, I found my stay pleasant.

    Amazing hotel. Great 3 day visit with my son. One thing to know is it is about a 10 minute walk to Las Olas Blvd but really not a big deal. I was just under the impression when I booked that it was pretty much out the front door. Everything was great!!

    We did have a couple of noise disturbance. There is a rooftop bar on the 25th floor that has a DJ on Saturdays and we could hear the music very loudly until 2AM. We didn't mind as we were up anyway but it would have been nice to be given a heads up since our room was on a high floor. If you are looking for a quiet room, ask for one on a lower floor. There also is some constant pipe noise that seems to be coming from the elevator I'm not sure but here again, if you're a light sleeper, make sure to ask for a room away from elevators. Despite this, the level of service and attention combined with the attention to detail and how beautiful the rooms are, largely outweigh the negative. If you're a light sleeper make sure to take the above into account, otherwise do not hesitate to book this hotel! We will be back for sure!

    Nothing was right about this property except that it’s a hotel. It’s way overrated and overpriced. It’s not even close to be a 2 star motel but rated as 5 star. No basic amenities like soap, no vending machines, ice, no trash covers, doors are insanely fast in closing that I almost got hit on my way out.

    This was a getaway for my husband and I. I have to say everything was perfect. The valet, the person who helped us to our room, and front desk. Everyone made our stay amazing. Thank you. I will be visiting again.

    I really enjoyed my stay. The pillows are super comfy. Overall it was clean. Staff is pleasant. The only disappointment was a large cluster of hair on the shower wall. I mentioned it upon checkout and will stay there again.

    The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows - super important to me. The staff was also attentive to needs. The restaurant in the lobby served excellent food which was not expected. Would stay here again!
