It was nothing like the pictures. Floor was filthy I had to wear my shoes and keep them beside the bed in case I had to get up during the night. Bathroom was nasty too. But the bed was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I checked out of the accommodation today and was asked for a $50 deposit. I paid with my debit card and haven't received the money in my account yet. Please provide a receipt or an estimate of when it will be deposited. Thank you.

The night girl checking me in...The other girls are nice. The cocaroachs, the broken toilet, it is outdated, it is a motel not hotel. Very shady people around, I can't stand cocaroaches or any bugs, I was also getting bit by something in bed, had a rash, them landlines usually dont work, dangerous, some doors are warped & you can't get out or in, sometimes keys dont work. The woman in the morning is downright mean, her name is SHRUTI BATRA, she should not be in this business, I was told she is l8ke that because she is going through family problems, that is no excuse. I have been in the hospitality business my whole life. I worked for the Marriott Hotel, I was a Flight Attendant, grew up in the restaurant business since 12 years young, I have been around the world. I worked in marketing on Park Avenue in Manhattan, I was hired by Brides magazine for the head publisher, I was a HHC aid, music videos, modeling, I find my experience was appaling. Stay far away from this place.

The room was relatively clean, just some minor dead bugs here and there. Had to search for a few outlets in order to get the lamps to work. Had a bit of a noise issue, but that's not the hotels fault. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. Will come back again.

A nice, affordable, motel close to the beach and lots of activities and places to eat. Had a very pleasant there.

Could use some minor updates especially in the bathroom but it was clean, comfortable and affordable. Recommended budget friendly hotel.

The person who was on duty that day was terrible. She gave us very poor information about how to get to the beach — you have to walk to get there, and they never explained that. We arrived an hour early, and they had a room available, but if we wanted it early we had to pay extra. She was very rude and inconsiderate, just sitting there watching TV. They don’t even have a restroom for guests to use while waiting for check-in, so we had to go find a bathroom at McDonald’s. In short, it was a disaster. The microwave didn’t work, and remember, the beach is not close at all. Bad service and misleading information they don’t tell you about.

The use of the sister hotel lobby & Tiki bar to access the beach is convenient. The sister hotel (Ocean Manor Hotel beach front resort) is across the street and has a large pool. Both are close to grocery stores and fast food (McDonalds & Pizza)

The hotel facade needs improvement but the rooms was 100 percent amazing cleaned with all the necessary things for a traveler. Parking is just outside the room, a short walk to the beach.

Front desk was attentive to my request for first floor room with a mobility issue. Room was spacious and clean. My only issue was that the hotel descpition says they are a four minute walk to the beach. Simply not true. They have no access. The front desk told me to cross the road and go thru the lobby of the resort and out through their tiki bar to the beach. Upon arrival there are clear signs that there is no public access to the beach it for their resort guest only. So that was a bit sketchy.

It was great staying at this very well-located hotel—just a three-minute walk to the beach. The best part is the price; it’s simple—just a standard hotel—but it’s more than sufficient. 👍👍❤️❤️

Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the front desk staff to the housekeeping team. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality. The room was beautiful, and my stay was a wonderful experience.

Very convenient location. Neighbors were loud, fighting, and playing music loudly, we were grateful we had limited time in our room. We only spoke to one staff, she was kind and knowledgeable with lots of recommendations. Encountered lots of cleaning staff and they were really nice, they were working very hard! Pretty typical for the price point and last minute accommodations. Wasn’t a bad stay, probably won’t go back, I’d pick a less busy part of the strip

I strongly advise against staying here. The hotel was filthy—rooms had pubic hair on the sheets, which is completely unacceptable and unsafe. The property clearly does not meet basic hygiene standards. On top of that, the customer service was horrible; staff were unhelpful and dismissive when we raised concerns. I would never return and recommend anyone looking for a safe and clean place to stay look elsewhere.

Its location The daytime staff lady was nice. The night time staff lady was rude. The bathtub didn’t drain properly. There was someone’s hair left in the bathroom and marks of blood on the wall.

The parking was assessable, ac worked great, staff wasn’t to attentive was handling personal business while guest were trying to check in. There was hair in the bed, pillow cases had hair and dirty marks, sheets were stained, blanket was dirty with burn holes, washcloth dirty marks. When new linens were brought back the was no flat sheet and no blanket. Was a little bit cold at night, barely slept because of it.

Staff were very kind and accommodating. The second day, the staff asked if we wanted our room serviced. We said yes and walked into the smell of bleach. Everything was refreshed, clean, and orderly. We absolutely loved the pool and garden area and the shared patio area on the second floor. This was the perfect quick trip spot for what we needed. The room felt very spacious with several outlet options which is always much appreciated. The A/C ran great and was easily adjustable. The water pressure was decent in the shower, and we had no complaints with the temperature adjustment. We didn’t have a car with us but they had plenty open spaces for guests as well.

Parking was good. AC was cool. No issues other then multiple locations nearby with the same or similar name causing confusion for my Uber driver.

The room was disgusting. Hair all over the floor and bathroom shower. Stains on the bed sheets. I tried talking to the front desk agent to have room cleaned. She tried to explain to me that that’s how the broom works. It doesn’t actually pick up the hair it just pushes it to the corners. I asked if they could vacuum it up she said they didn’t have a vacuum. The fact that she was trying to justify that that’s how they clean was horrendous! I tried canceling hotel but they would not let me. I have to go to Walgreens and buy both Lysol wipes and spray. I don’t believe this room had been cleaned at all. DO NOT STAY HERE!! Not worth the cheap price.

There was no beach view but it was close by. I was shown two rooms. Both rooms were dirty, smelled of cigarette smoke and a musty smell. The liight didn't work in one room, and there was a hole in the wall of one of the rooms. There was garbage in the pool. I was denied a refund when I canceled my reservation due to the condition of the property.

There were homeless people hanging around the pool and in the courtyard. The pictures look much much nicer than that place actually is. It’s in a state of disrepair. I wouldn’t get in the pool. The room was very depressing and dark being in a back corner. It wasn’t very clean and things were broken and damaged and I couldn’t get the remote to work on the TV. I paid upfront for two nights without seeing the place ended up having a family emergency and tried to get a reimbursement for the second night and they refused since I booked it through booking.com. So buyer beware especially if you don’t look at a property first. I’ve learned my lesson.

the pictures are completely misleading. The shots take. are no where near the location. This is a typical, built in the early 80s run down motel. The pull is a small embarrassing puddle and there are no views. Felt a bit ripped off from the pictures.

Bed was comfortable 1) found 2 roaches (alive) 2) hair in the shower drain so bad water wouldn't go down 3) 4 burn marks on the edge of the tub 4) mold on the trim in the bathroom 5) mold and active water leak under the bathroom sink 6) hole in the ceiling above bed 7) Paint pealing on the ceiling in the shower 8) The shower curtain road was broken and kept falling 9) hair found in every part of the room 10) fridge barely worked to keep items cold 11) took a minimum of 3 minutes to heat up anything in the microwave 12) dresser drawers were broken and wouldn't properly close 13) front door while closed all the way and locked still allowed light and wind to come thru 14) cheap dollar store power strips used on the side of the bed and for the microwave, coffee maker, and fridge all are loose and barely work. 14) exposed wires coming from a utility closet to the middle of the room improperly secured. 15) The floors didn't appear to have been swept in anyway as my wife ended up with a piece of glass in her foot. 16) Every surface area in the entire room had not been dusted or cleaned in quite some time 17) The front desk evening worker was not the most pleasant. But the morning older gentleman was pleasant 18) The tv remote was sticky and visibly dirty and not just in the cracks. 19) If you are sitting on the toilet and you need to open the bathroom door for any reason, good luck, cause it isn't gonna happen. The only positive takeaway was their were a lot of options to get food and groceries nearby. And mcds is accross the street.

After checking in I called Expedia to have the balance of my reservation canceled. They said they needed to check with the hotel. The hotel refused I was put in a room right outside the elevator. Everyone who got on and off the elevator could look into my room, the room also stunk like smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The hotel was kind enough to move me to another room, which was slightly better. The hotel is old rundown dirty, and I contacted Expedia again asking them to take this property off their listings because it’s disgusting. This hotel wasn’t even worth $50 a night.

Walk to the beach was 25 minutes as most beach is gated off by large hotels.

No one went into the pool including us so I cannot rate it. Air condition was so loud we had to turn TV on 32 to hear it. There was a party outside our door from 310 am till 440am. Never get a room right across from the elevator.

The room itself was comfortable enough, but it could use some maintenance and updates. A few fixtures and finishes showed signs of wear, and refreshing these would really improve the overall guest experience. Despite that, the staff were pleasant, the price was reasonable, and the location made the stay worthwhile. With some room improvements, this property could be an even stronger option for future visits.

My techs arrived to find, drugs in the room, poop all over the floor. Techs mentioned staff was nice and friendly, lobby was clean and smelled good. Rooms a completely different story they checked in a check right back out.

The room was not clean. Bathroom had hair in the sink and on the floor. I threw away my socks after walking on the carpet they were black. The hotel would be great with a deep cleaning

Checking in and checking out was such a time consuming process. They moved slow took their time and barely spoke. Room had a roach in it and mold on the roof in the bathroom. Absolutely unbelievable that they rent a room for the price I paid $360. Sheets and towels didn’t seem clean, looked like they were reused.

Cons- the hotel is a little run down looking. Our door was hard to shut, the refrigerator leaked water when we first got there but then stopped. The remote didn't work very well. And the windows were thin, so I could hear traffic all night while I was trying to sleep. Basically, if you're looking for a cheap place to stay and aren't concerned with appearance, or a bunch of extras, this place checks all the important boxes, just understand what you're paying for. If you are unsure about going with a cheap place, this place might not be for you. Most of the places around it look nicer and you might not be happy with your decision. But all in all it's a nice place for the cost.

Outdated, dirty & too noisy!

Never got room housekeeping service as stayed two days and tub was dangerous as the tub membrane was filled with water underneath leading to un stable standing for shower. Sand got into beds from not having swept from normal housekeeping . Run down facilities as pictures showed a false look to hotel . I said good morning to staff many times no response . Tv was not working however manager was helpful to fix.

It was a comfortable overnight stay and we have no reservations about a future booking when we return from our cruise in a couple weeks

The element that raises this experience to an average rating was the staff was genuine and polite. Otherwise I would have rated the experience lower. I would say the property needs some general work to rate it any higher. It was OK.

The room had a funky smell when I arrived and it was very off-putting. This is a no-frills place but it did the job of allowing me the opportunity to hit the beach on my solo trip. I felt safe despite traveling alone. If you go to Tiki Bar at the Ocean Beach Manor Resort, you'll be able to access the ocean without issue.

The place is old but has been somewhat recently updated. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable if you like a lottle soft mattress. The pillows were big and fluffy. The gentleman that checked me in was very friendly and courteous. I would stay here again

The location is a major plus. The hotel is situated in a pleasant area with good walkability. There are nice spots nearby to stroll or go for a morning walk or jog. Directly across the road, there is a grocery and food option, which made things very convenient for quick meals or supplies. While the beach is not directly accessible by simply crossing the road, it is only a short walk away. There are well-kept public beach access points about five minutes on foot, along with clean and properly maintained public facilities along the route. This made beach visits easy without feeling crowded or inconvenient. Parking was straightforward and hassle-free. Self-parking was available, easy to access, and there were no complications with payment or check-in related to parking. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for the price, a clean and comfortable room, and a convenient location. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The property was not in good condition for upkeep. Room was smelly. Dirty washcloth and towel, when asked for clean washcloth, the guy at desk seemed annoyed and said he will see if he had any, he never get back to us. Came in about 9pm one night, homeless man was sleeping in the elevator. Leaving out at 4:15am, a man and woman was outside the door, the woman appeared to be high off drugs, she asked for food or money, when told we didn't have anything she kicked out suitcases away from the door. When tried to retrieve the suitcases she became aggressive, fighting and saying we are taking her suitcases. I was screaming for help, someone was downstairs in the garden area, he did not appear startled at all. Someone came out from their room and I believed they called the cops. No one was at the desk, the homeless and crackheads are all over the property. The police came late but we had lost so much time that we had to leave, we still missed our flight. Horrible Horrible place, very unsafe. The house keeper was helpful.

Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet but it was not very clean and the door to the room had a gap it in. Floor was still sandy and left your feet black after walking on it for a short period of time and there was a dead bug right inside one of the doors.

Neither the hotel or Expedia system allowed me to change the name without canceling the original booking with no guaranty of the same price. Also the hotel had different Expedia #s. It took hours and finally a video call from Cambodia to let us use the other room that we had paid for

Very run down hotel, they don’t tell you they don’t service your room with fresh towels ever. You find out on your own and have to ask at front desk. Water in toilet and shower have rust and is brown. Tv worked and bed was comfortable. Value for money was about right but definitely run down.

Very professional staff but be sure to get a room that is not near the laundry room that could be a bit bothersome. Otherwise, great.

Nice budget hotel well situated wen you are on budget. You have the mc donalds right in frond and a huge grocery store 2 min walk perfect for good budget meals. Hotels has big outdoor tables to eat. And few minutes walk to beach and restaurants. Hey its not the ritz but then again we go to Florida for the sunshine.

The parking was saved cuz it's up front and exposed to the road or anybody can see your vehicle including law enforcement and you could look out the window and see your vehicle right out front in front of the pool

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. I was able to sleep peacefully because of the quiet surroundings and I felt very safe.

The staff is very accommodating and guest friendly. The rooms were dated as was the property. Easy to overlook with location and great staff.

Staff was friendly but the place was disgusting. roach came out of the floor , the tub was clearly installed wrong and when you step on it, you can hear the water that’s trapped under there and that will cause black mold. I get that you get what you pay for, but this is a health concern for the employees too….

Floor nasty, light bulbs don’t work in any of the lamps, phone is cheap, towels are thin, and the water comes out brown and rusty from the sink I couldn’t even make my baby’s milk. The outlets are coming out of the wall, and the phone in the room is completely broken. Housekeeping had a terrible attitude, very rude (the African lady with the ponytail). I will never come back here.

Location is prime, the beds are comfy, the room is always clean, the staff is nice, & there’s a tiki bar that serves food & is open really late across the street.

For the price, I expected at least basic cleanliness and upkeep, but Ocean Reef fell far below that standard. I would not recommend staying here until they seriously invest in cleaning, maintenance, and pest control.

3 adults - reserved a room with king size bed & queen size bed on third floor. Has a working elevator & lovely AC. Front desk was especially helpful with directions, extra towels, pool hours. Great place for an overnight.

This hotel was nothing like the pictures on hotels.com. It was run down. Smelled like beer, vomit and urine. The elevator was gross. When i checked the bed for bugs, the sheets felt wet. They had stains, in need of replacement. I went down to the office and informed them I could not stay there and checked out. The landscaping and parking lot needed to be redone. Again nothing like the pictures. The front end staff said they sent in updated photographs. The staff do the best they can. I blame the owner for not investing into his property.

If you are looking for a quick pied a terre you can consider a stay at Ocean Reef. Property need some touch up special the special elevator limited dining option on site but wil find activities within driving distance

I booked a stay. The general manager advised she did not see a booking in her system. General Manager booked room through there personal site and made me pay cash and/or credit. I had the itinerary # in my application. The General Manager is rude and so is the maintenance man. He used expletive’s when speaking to me. I would not recommend.

I like this place so much, I want to add it to my favorite list. My stay was enjoyable, and I can't wait to go back.

Toilet didn't work, keys didn't always work.

The maintenance worker saw me go into my room and the tried to open the door on me a couple minutes later. Very unsafe and I wouldn’t recommend going there and at all!!!

The atmosphere in the room felt as if it hadn't been cleaned for days

I did not like this place. The pictures on the website does not look like the room at the hotel. The room was old had cracks on the tiles on the floor, and the sink was filled with dirty water. Also didn’t feel safe leaving my clothes there so when I went back at night they closed my account even though I paid for it. Also elevator was dirty and barely worked.

Property is great for a one night stay. Didn’t seem like a bad area.

it looks a lot nicer in the pictures on here than it is in real life, we got in our room and looked around we found black hairs all over the bathroom, black hairs on the towels, it was ridiculous. They left dirty towels hanging up in the bathroom and when i asked for clean ones the housekeeper wanted to come in the bathroom and make sure i wasn’t lying. will not be staying here again.

This is not a place to stay with family. While the location may be good, the hotel is very dirty and felt unsafe. The hotel pics are very misleading. We checked out 2 hours after checking in.

It was only 1 night nonetheless it is an old, dirty, smelly place. The only positive I can think of was the location.

It was really quiet and a great location, it was as clean as expected and it was really convenient. The staff was Amazing! I lost my key first night and they found it and helped me. They staff was very honest and nice.

The proximity to the beach was all this place was good for. One of the beds wasn’t made when we got there, and the lady in the office refused to address the issue because she said there was no housekeeping staff on duty to finish preparing the room after we had already checked in. There was still some trash in the bathroom from the previous guests. We paid for the beach location, but that’s about all the value.

Housekeeping leaves doors open to remind themselves to come back and finish the job and then just clocks out at end of shift even if they never went back and shut the doors to the unfinished rooms!!! This happened to us and the front desk confirmed that this is an ongoing problem. Management didn’t care.

A fridge and microwave that kept my food cold. And i was able to enjoy my meals most of the time in peace. Aside from the room smelling of damp wood. Maybe from the ac not being cleaned. And the mopping of the wooden floors. I declined the room service every day since i wanted to relax. Other than the first day they obliged to my request not to bother me. Until it was ready to check and they were just knocking and knocking on my door. So i decided to just check out. Even though i had late checkout. Overall... it was fairly quiet and decent.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. Management is even more disgusting. Boogers on the walls, bugs in the bed, people doing drugs all over the place. Stay far away, unless you’d like to experience hell.

Lady at time of check in was very nice but no one was there to check us in for 20 minutes. The following day we asked for cream and sugar and the lady behind the desk was Very rude and should not work there!!! Place is old and ran down pictures were very misleading.

Terrible, staff didn’t help out when we had a problem with other guests, place is just for parties and they allow guests to scream and party all night. I didn’t get any sleep.

Unfortunately, I was catfished by a building. Do not trust these photos, they are completely inaccurate. -The hotel isn't even green haha! -The rooms are dingy. -There were loud sex workers/drunk scary men on site. -The first room had no working lights. -The second room I was switched to looked, ok enough? Until I found someone else's urine in the toilet. -Remotes had no backs. Batteries held in by tape. -The final straw was when a cockroach crawled onto the toilet, causing me to flee at 12:30am at night, 45 minutes after checkin in. Two cockroaches crawled into my belongings, which was unzipped for mere minutes and spread to my car. DO NOT STAY HERE

The room was clean. Property is a bit old and run down. Traffic can be loud during the night. Parking in front can be challenging and the back lot really only fits small vehicles. Overall stay was ok.

The room had a slight musty smell. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Ashley at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The pool was a little dirty, but it’s across the street from the ocean so I didn’t mind.

This hotel was typical for the area, but very old. Front desk was super friendly and helpful. The area felt a little unsafe, but the front desk staff was honest and returned a backpack to us that was accidently left in the lobby.

Older hotel, TV issue feels safe really nice hotels across street. Decent clean pool. Definitely a spring break kids hotel, more than family hotel but for one night met our needs

fire alarm went off they obviously don’t do regular battery changing or even look at it. water was randomly shut off without telling us and no explanation on when it’s coming back on. shower head blew up when turned. front desk service was unapproachable, unfriendly and rude overall, don’t stay here

Bugs were everywhere in the bathroom when we woke up.

The hotel looks extremely old and outdated. The rooms are in terrible condition and dirty. There was mold all over the restroom ceiling, dirty curtains, dirty surfaces, and dirty headboards on the bed.

The hotel itself needs upgrade and needs to be cleaner. . I actually got my room changed the day after as let’s say the original room was very dirty/ roach. I tried to cancel but the manager was very nice and made accommodations in a bigger and cleaner room. Unfortunately, I will not stay there again.

The bathtub was dirty and had some nail polish stains. Not enough towels were provided and I had to ask for more towels everyday. It was not worth the money spent on the room.

Everything was good. Only difficulty I had was trying to find a parking spot. They had parking behind the hotel, but someone decided to block the entry to the parking lot resulting in going all the way around to the exit part of the lot and reverse inward to be able to leave the correct way the following mornings

I would not recommend. Non-smoking rooms smell smoking rooms. Noisy, even to hear next room conversations. Playing music all night.

This was an old hotel, and should not have been priced like a new one! Seriously outdated and ridiculous room with long bed and queen in same room! Staff was courteous and professional but would never stay there again… needs lotsa of updating!

Favorite thing was the spacious room with two queen beds, great office space, nice bench area and night stands. Bathroom is small and the toilet handle is in a strange location and difficult to operate. Otherwise it's a nice place with friendly staff.

Was charged for a night and never got to the hotel !! Late flight got us into Fort Lauderdale just before midnight. Tried to find a room for the night of Feb 14th but because of the time, the date changed to Feb 15th to Feb 16th. We were boarding a cruise ship Feb 15th so we just wanted a bed for the night of Feb 14 till morning of 15th. Once we noticed the date we had, we tried to cancel. No refund, no concession for the error. Charged full price for a room we never even saw!!

This hotel was disgusting, I killed five (5) roaches and couldn't sleep because others in the hotel were up all night smoking weed and yelling. Total Dump!

Needed a new coffee maker, the in room safe jammed and it needed to be cut open to access our belongings. The beach was close and the pool at the hotel was nice to have.

Old beat up hotel but cheap and conveniently located. We had 2 rooms both were pretty clean, comfortable beds and worked for our 1 night stay.

Blood stains on pillows, Dirty pillowcases, We discovered a dead bug on the bed, which was deeply unsettling and lots more. customer service we received was extremely poor.

The pictures online are not of the rooms at this hotel and there was hair on the bed and on the towels. The ac did work well. I have videos but I am unable to upload on here.

Manager not accomodating

I liked that it was next to the street. The beach was not far away but behind another hotel. There was a roach in my room crawling over my things. I had to sanitize my things. Other than that, it was just ok.

Definitely was not one of the best properties that I have stayed at. The room and room decor was poor.

Office staff were welcoming on arrival. Room was noisy even though asked for quiet room. Hotel is old and dated. Area food availability is poor in quality and high in price. No easy access to beach.

The sheets had not been changed, the towels looked used. The room's furniture was falling apart. The photos are a gross misrepresentation. This place isn't a hotel, it is a dilapitated motel at best. I left after one night.

Property was pretty much what we expected for the price point. Clean and nice place to get a good nights rest.

The towels were stained and had holes in them. I asked housekeeping for new wash clothes she told me no there’s wash clothes in the room as I was explaining that they had holes in them she walked away and said she has no towels.
