    This place was not at all what I was expecting. My travel was work related. I booked and reserved a king suite. Upon arrival, I was informed the room was not available, not even a queen suite was available. Only room available was a double full room. No amenities provided, not even toilet paper other than one roll when you first check in. I was informed that I can wash my own towels if needed! I have stayed in several hotels including extended stay hotels and this is by far the worst experience I have had with booking and staying in one. Most others will supply minimum kitchenware upon request. This one did not. This hotel should include these facts within their website during booking in clear print for customers to easily see, not in small print listed in the same area as "decorative items". I will not be staying here again.

    I reported the issue to the front desk the next day, but was told this was “normal” and that the AC does not work in cold weather. When I tried to check out early and request a refund, it was denied. I was there for work and did not expect luxury, but basic amenities like hot water and a functioning AC are essential. I do not recommend this property.

    The general manager James was very nasty tried to make me leave for a balance of 18 cents after he didn’t charge my card at 11am like I signed up for than told me I couldn’t stay Saturday he removed my reservation very unprofessional

    No kitchenware to cook. If you plan on using the kitchen bring your own with you no plates knives skillets 0 nothing at all. Could not get any hot water in the morning. If you like Cold showers this is the place for you abandon cars in the parking lot not to mention the unfavorable crowd you have to go thru to get inside. Horrible experience don’t stay here

    There is no water pressure or hot water at this hotel. We stayed for a week and only ever got between cool to luke warm water and that only came out of the shower at barely more than a drizzle. The walls are very thin so you hear everything. No dogs allowed except service animals, yet we saw plenty of dogs at the property (with the way the dogs acted they were not service animals). The room does have a stovetop, which is nice, but where the smoke goes up under the microwave is rarely or never cleaned. And during our stay, someone walked into our room to test the smoke alarm. I’m not sure why that isn’t done when there are no guests in the room. I was half asleep in bed so that was a nice surprise. We also had two rooms for the week booked in advance, yet one wasn’t available when we arrived to check in so we had to upgrade. The upgrade was not an upgrade other than a price difference, and only got a deposit back for one room.

    Clean enough but the dingy hallways had a musty odor. The suite was nicely laid out and well sized, although the kitchen facilities could only be described as tiny, although it was easy to make it work. The bathroom was adequately sized and equipped HOWEVER the water in the shower was barely above a dribble. Comfortable bed (somewhat soft), enough closet and drawer space. I would stay there again, but the maintenance needs to be a bit more diligent, loose drawers, missing pulls, non functioning lamps that were never addressed and laundry was certainly lacking. But, again, a solid B-, I would stay again.

    It's not a place i would book again. First thing i observed was a box on the floor for catching rats and roaches. Towels had to be washed by me because the hotel does not refresh them. Needs refurbishing.

    About what you’d expect from an extended stay. Bathroom had horrible water pressure and difficulty with water drainage. Cabinets were noticeably old and painted over. No bugs. The room was nice and clean upon entry. During the time when we went, staff wasn’t really available. Parks lake is close by which was very convenient and nice.

    Walls & doors are paper-thin. Heard the telephone conversations of the fellow in the room beside mine. Expect alot of additional fees upon check in. The mainly upgraded room is modern & lovely, which partially justified the extra cost. Location is walking distance to several amenities. The low rating is not an accurate reflection. It's a nice place!

    I typically don’t like to leave bad reviews but this one was pretty bad. I checked in and that part was great. I was told it was a non smoking location which is perfect as I don’t smoke. I get to the hallway where I was staying and it smelled like they told everyone please smoke. The room was decent but again the smell was coming in. I had to stop by and by an air freshener to try and kill off the smell. It wasn’t a cheap stay either, but cheaper than most spots, I guess you get what you pay for in this case.

    If you want a cheap option this is it. Our place when we got there had a broken shower head and toilet did not flush we told front staff and maintenance guy came and fixed everything. Staff was nice, people were generally nice a lot of tobacco and weed smell. A lot of people think this is a hotel don’t think that people live here and we had neighbours bash the walls because our baby was crying. If u need to save money it’s fine don’t expect anything literally just a place to sleep nothing else.

    Most of the staff was absolutely great, and Jasmine is a fantastic manager. However, with the amount issues with the TV, lack of cleanliness, the pest problem, and most of the housekeeping ignoring when I ask for an item is a rather big problem.

    Roaches, foul mouth disrespectful kids from 4 yrs old to 10 maybe that lived there along with many others ..kids running around outside and in halls till 2am.. smell of marijuana was strong along with a burning wire smell ( I was told it was crack being smoked).. all in a non smoking facility. Refrigerator Did NOT work and everything was reported to front desk to which I was flat ignored and told check out is 11am. I tried to repeat myself again and told again check out is at 11am. Look I live in a very poor neighborhood back at home and used to more than most..but this was the most hood rat motel I ever had to lay my head on because clearly no refund was gonña be given. OH AND NO ACCESS TO PATIO ..UNLIKE WHAT THEY PICTURE AND ADVERTISE !! IT IS CAULKED SHUT AND A DOOR HINGE IS USED AS A SECOND LOCKING DEVICE ON TOP OF DOOR TO FRAME!!! we got zero sleep for all the noises and smells.. and watching out for roaches to crawl on us..we checked out at 6 am !! I the type I will suffer through to not waist my money but NEVER WOULD I DO THAT PLACE EVER AGAIN.. WE BEEN BETTER OFF OUT IN PARKING LOT SLEEPING IN CAR!!!

    I called twice to confirm I was able to have my service dog which could never get thru to someone all they had was an automated system that said service animals welcome. When I arrived no one was at front desk, no one was answering. They had an after hours number I called a woman answered and said she would be right down. Ten minutes later a woman comes down taking her sweet time only to tell me my service animal was not allowed. I expressed to her that I called and the automated system said other wise. I asked to speak to manager she said she would call her and ask I asked her how long she said she did not know. I waited an hour only for her to tell me that she did not know how long it would take to get a response and I was not allowed with my service animal. I was never able to even check in and the front desk lady was so unprofessional and so rude.

    The place is very run down, many people were drunk or on something. When I arrived no one was even at the desk, I called the number on door and someone answered said I could not check in early and I have to come back at 3:00 she is on lunch. When returning a hour later I got checked in she asked we check the room out first then she will book it, room was fairly clean floors could of been mopped the whole building/rooms smelled like weed. Decided to check in when she was checking me in she says there is a $50 deposit and I will get it back when check out. Well now I got charged full amount and now no one is answering at the place so this is still ongoing but I do not recommend this place at all!

    I booked a suite, there was roaches all over, in the closet, on the bed, bathroom and everywhere, I could not sleep fearing they would crawl on me, I was traumatized. I booked for 5 nights, I did not sleep the first night because I work at night in the hospital, I am a traveling nurse that is why I booked that hotel, it was near to the hospital.

    Room was clean but smells of mold in the ac. They had our car towed for no reason and acted like they didn’t. The stove would shock you while cooking. Curtains had holes in them where you could see daylight. They don’t provide toilet paper. And only clean rooms if your staying over 7 days. This was my first experience staying in a extended stay. I don’t care how cheap they are I will not stay at the Intown extended suites again.

    I booked my trip using Hotels.com for InTown Suites Fort Myers Florida ( 3/23 - 3/30 ) ISSUE #1:Tried calling the actual property and never had anyone return my call ( I was trying to confirm/confirm late check-in ) ISSUE # 2: Upon check-in (around 6pm), I was told by the desk clerk "you dont have a reservation" - I showed her the reservation confirmation from Hotels.com and she said "oh yea...sorry..but we dont honor reservations from Hotels.com" - after complaining enough, she ended up showing me two(2) open rooms and I checked into one of them ISSUE #3 : lobby /hallways STRONG smell of mold/mildew ISSUE #4: the actual hotel room reeked of heavy bug spray ( I was told that once a week the pest control person sprays and that the smell would go away in 1-2 days ) ISSUE # 5: office/ desk clerk knocked on my door at 8pm on 5/30 telling me that upon check-in I only paid for 7 nights ( and I was supposed to check out ) I told her there is a mistake and I'm checking out tomorrow. She was VERY rude, told me to get out of the hotel..(I was trespassing) and then she called the police. The police arrived at 9pm and told me I had to vacate given the hotel Conclusion: No matter how professional I tried to be the clerk refused to accept cash or credit card to pay for the extra night and I was unceremoniously kicked out into the Fort Myers night w/o a place to sleep

    I did not stay. The desk person had me check the room to see if it was acceptable and told me I would have to figure out a refund with the booking site before I even saw the room. That was suspicious to start with. Cereal or snack all over the floor. The refrigerator completely rusty. Food on counters. Didn’t look in the bathroom. Also said they couldn’t honor the price I got through hotels.com

    It is time for this property to be brought up to date. Not too happy to pay $115 for such a run down room. Needed an extra pillow, they let housekeeping go at 3pm. and could not get that for us. Housekeeping room was locked.

    I got there at 9:30. The place had people lingering around the lobby, and looked like a drug rehab. There was NO clerk on duty. When I called the number on the window, I was told that there was no check in and no one on duty. Basically, it was a free for all. I left, after getting his assurance that I would not be charged. In any case, this place is a hell hole, and should never be an offering on “Hotels” without the express notice that the drive is completely unlit, no one is on duty, and it is not a safe location.

    There was no hot water for 3 days. Two bath towels and 2 wash rags for 3 days? No room service of any kind to request more towels. One small hand soap and no shampoo or conditioner. This is an extended stay and no coffer pot, coffer or anything but 1 trash can hidden underneath the sink. Did not find that for a day. Ugh!

    We used Expedia to book a room. Arrived and the hotel manager was having problems with another customer as he had given away another person's room. The argument turned into a FIGHT with police showing up. My father waited patiently and was unable to check in and the front desk closed. The manager "checked in" his reservation even though my father NEVER checked in. We had to leave. Tried calling the front desk and no one ever answered. Closed front desk so no way to get checked in. Expedia charged our account for a room we never got.

    Derive was terrible from arrival until departure. We were locked out of the building and sat in the parking lot for two hours because there was no staff on site that could help us. We were going to sleep in our vehicle. The whole building smelled like stale cigarettes, we reserved a queen size bed we didn’t get that, the amenities in the room were hanging by a thread and it just seemed so unsafe. Definitely would NOT recommend.

    This hotel was apparently a long-term stay facility. It did not state on the website. The room was ok but the carpet was disgusting and there was a couple of ROACHES that I saw and if you se one ou kjow there's more. VERY SKETCHY!!!!

    Absolutely nothing, disgusting! Found a cockroach climbing the bath tub! Room was DIRTY , whole hotel was dirty in general. Stinks! Male staff was very rude! Board of health needs to be involved! Yesterday!

    Horrible place. Couldn't find a square foot of bedcover that didn't have cigarette burn holes, in a non-smoking room. No hot water in the bathroom. Cops are here often. Guarantee any good reviews are written by employees.

    Didn't find out till after booking that they don't accept check-ins after 7pm. I was on a business trip couldn't get there before. This is horrible! Horrible service in general.

    Can’t honestly say I liked anything about this place except how fast they refunded the balance of my weekly fee when I brought roaches to the front desk that were crawling on my feet while I was sleeping and actually bit me. I think they wanted to get rid of me quickly before their next victims came in. And what kind of a place does not supply you with toilet paper? Seriously? And no hot water.....only lukewarm? And horrible hard mattress. I can’t make this stuff up folks. It was like a big nightmare. I am 70 years old and have NEVER experienced anything like it.

    Worst hotel I've stayed at in a long time. I guess i should've read the other reviews. No one at front desk after 7pm. Lots of low lifes hanging around the outside. Kids running up and down the halls til midnight. You can hear couples arguing half-way down the hall way. I understand this is an extended stay but from the conversation I had with another guest/resident people actually do live here. I knew when I checked in and i was asked to go inspect my room before we finished check in it wouldn't be good.

    it's a nightmare. the worst motel in the world. arrived at the hotel at 6:15 pm. the office is already closed. no one will give you the key for your room. nobody answers the phone call. they left me sleep on the street. They just don't give a s%*t about you. if they say that after 7 pm there will be a person and give you a key - that's a lie. it is just a guard who watches over the territory.

    Flew in from California 5.5 hours 4 1/2 months pregnant arrived in Florida at 949 pm drove 2 hours to fort myers just to be told i couldnt check in, and my room was paid for in advance mind you had to sleep in car and still couldn't check in next day had to book at another hotel and now being told i can't get refunded, what was supposed to be a nice little trip turned into a stressful long 4 days!

    Hotel was gross. Room had holes busted in the walls. Couches had cigarette burn holes all over it. Walls were filthy. We felt dirty just standing in the room.

    This was the most disgusting run down hotel room I’ve ever seen. I travel constantly and have never come across a place so horrific. Broken furniture, absolute filth on every surface, carpet and walls covered in red stains and dirt, dents in door and appliances, rust in kitchen and bathroom, sticky grime in kitchen and bathroom and there were cockroaches. I have many photos of these issues. It was unlivable. It felt extremely unsafe. I had to leave immediately and get a room somewhere else. Horrible customer service. No one is actually there to let you in building or answer phones. I have been trying to get a refund for over a month. Hotel will not help. Hotels.com promised to resolve this and has not.
