From the time we checked in until we left, the staff was always helpful and kind. Breakfast was good. The attendant kept the dining room extremely clean and always had a smile. Our room was very clean. Our room did not have a sofa. This would have been a nice addition to the accessible room.

Convenient location was the only positive. Choose any other option in the area. BED BUGS - two nighttime employees insisted I switch rooms as they confirmed the insect I delivered to the front desk. Next day the manager said they would refund my stay pending confirmation of infestation. Week later, they said the test was negative. Simply unacceptable, unprofessional and gross. The room they moved me to, they said was newly painted and serviced. The toilet was broken and I had to fill the tank myself to get it to flush. The breakfast was sad- brown bananas, dried out oranges, no yogurt. When asked for healthier options, the staff lied and said it was ordered. I heard her ask her supervisor the next day if she could order yogurt.

The front desk staff was very kind and understanding when we checked out after finding roaches in our rooms. Upon entering, the whole hotel has a strange, mold smell. We unpacked our bags and went to get a bite to eat. When we returned from eating, we came back in and there were roaches in our rooms(no, not from us, and we had 2 queen suites) They had a fan plugged into the inside of an elevator. We couldn't get past the smell it was awful or the roaches in our rooms. The desk lady was very kind when we went down and she allowed us to check out. We definitely didn't want to try another room.

Clean and tidy. Good location and discount for the bar across the way. Rooms had all that was needed for a short stay and breakfast was very good, although forks could have been more substantial.!!! Although I didn't use it the spa looked very good with a clean pool and available towels. A very good experience for the overall cost. I did not experience anything that I didn't like at all.

Very nice hotel, spacious room. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Martha at the front desk helped smooth my complicated booking. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The front desk staff was so kind of me last night. I traveled 50 hours and the check-in was smooth. Got to my room. The bed was amazingly comfortable. One of there other guests he’s was speaking loudly in his phone

The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and patient with me helping me do my check in ( because I had difficulty seeing after driving 5 hours in the Florida sun , she was also working this morning and helped me retrieve documents I had left behind also the one person that seem to be the owner was very nice and transmit hospitality and really care about their guest

The ceiling fan looks like it has never been clean, the mattress was very lumpy, and the toilet needs repair. I had to keep putting the chain back on in the tank so it could flush.

Upon entering my room I noticed a large spider web on tje lamp. Walking further a bug was noticed crawling on top of a cabi et. The bug then crawled into the cabinet where there were several other bugs and they were different kinds. Appears they were living in there inside the cabinet door. This cabinet housed the fridge and microwave. The microwave was dirty as well as the white room doors. It smelled musty. The front desk thought tjey could be termites. She offered another room which was the only room left. That room had a stong urine order. Needless to say we did not stay. The rooms have nice newer flooring but rest of room was totally outdated with scratched ugly furniture from the 50's. Front desk staff were nice and refunded my money. I have stayed at many Florida Hotels and have never seen anything as disgusting as this hotel.

Check in was not welcoming. Room was not cleaned during 2 night stay. Called front desk, no answer. Went downstairs to inform & was told no one was available to clean room but she would put requested items in room. Returned 3 hours later to find nothing done & was told she “forgot” room #. Hallways had a terrible smell. Guests forced to wait for single elevator for staff to constantly transport equipment & large containers. They need a separate staff access. Breakfast room locked 7 minutes early & when asking for help from front desk on her cell phone, she stated I could try knocking to “see if she’ll let you in”. Very bizarre and won’t be staying there again. It’s not La Quinta as I’ve stayed many times in other states. It’s that location where don’t seem to care about quality service.

On the less positive side, the room itself left something to be desired. A lingering odor — faintly reminiscent of incense — greeted us on arrival, and the overall cleanliness and upkeep fell short of expectations, with the décor feeling noticeably tired and dated. That said, for a single overnight stay it served its purpose well enough.

Room was very nice and was big, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Only problem was my room did not get cleaned until i talked to the cleaning staff and even after it was cleaned, the bed was not made and the garbage was not removed

The entire facility was run down. The hallway walls were dingy. The room had damaged and old furniture, pillows were lumpy, the ceiling fan paddles had a thick layer of dust on them, wall paint was spotty so it was very dingy, poor paint job in bathroom, no exhaust fan in bathroom, toilet did not flush well (2 flushes required for pee and tissue), bathroom fixture finishes were worn away, heavy calcium deposit on the shower head, doors had visible film of dirt around the handles, the painted stairwell floor was. badly scuffed and a layer of filthy along the walls all the way down the stair well.

Booked a king, got two queens instead. No shampoo in shower, and room was very cold.

Staff were more than friendly and efficient. Shower didn't have enough water pressure. Breakfast fruit had bruises...variety poor. Was super convenient to everything in the area.

I booked and paid for our room thru Hotels.com app. however when we arrived at the hotel the lady working the front desk said I had to pay. We hadn't slept in 36hrs so I didn't argue. Then I was told I had to leave cash deposit at the front desk. The lady was acting extremely bonkers. Couldn't stop moving and twitching long enough to get us checked in. She was clearly not ok. It took us over 30 minutes to check into a room we had booked AND paid for online, as well as completed precheck from the text LaQuinta had sent us. I had already loaded my ID and everything. We were only supposed to pick up our keys and go to our room. When we finally got our room it was clean and comfortable. I have no complaints about the building itself. Located in very quiet area right off a main road with plenty of food options. Check out was with a different lady. She was very professional and clearly confused and upset by the things the other lady had done. I was relieved that my deposit was returned. I am looking into my credit card charges to make sure I was not charged twice for the room.

The room had an awefull smell as soon as we walked in, we put up with it since we were only there for one night, every other area inside the room was okay. Staff was very pleasant and breakfast was good, parking was also great! The only major downside to the trip was a couple of dogs who barked all night and very early morning.

When I requested that our room be refreshed, I returned to find that it hadn’t been touched. So…I personally had to go down to the front desk get the towels, and paper products myself after emptying my own waste baskets etc.

The staff is very courteous and helpful at the Ft. Meyers I-75 LaQuinta Inn. I had a late check inn which was quick and seamless. Also, I had a gap in my stay (2 nights), and it helped out a lot that I was able to leave one of my bags here while I had to make a short out of town trip

Having to enter information into a tablet that I had ALREADY given them online was annoying. That the tablet didn't have a proper keyboard meant it took 3 times as long. The lock to room 309 is not in good order. Sometimes I had to try 3 times before it would open from outside, because something kept sticking. And it is LOUD. I felt bad for the people in adjoining rooms, because I keep odd hours. The fridge needs to be defrosted. My few interactions with staff were all positive. Seem like good people.

If you want to be immediately greeted by a group smoking weed and hanging out around the outside of the hotel this is the place for you. Felt uncomfortable right away and I was traveling alone…The room was dirty, furniture in disrepair, hallway light shining through a crack in the door. I was supposed to stay for 4 more nights and I left after one night even though I couldn’t get my money back. I will never return. However, the staff are all incredibly friendly and doing the best they can with what they’re given.

Not only did I have mold on my pillows, not once but twice. I had them come in and change the sheets due to the mold. It just came back my daughter that’s one years of age had an extreme rash. I had headaches and puking. Had to leave the hotel early and was told they wouldn’t reimburse me. Not even a partial. Front desk shrugged her shoulders at me. like oh well. bummer …. The hallway smell like cat pee.. the swimming pool that they offered was shut down the entire stay( which is why I booked it because I have an infant that loves water) Photos included

Desk attendant Taniesha and others were the best part of this hotel......pool like turtle tank water....the hotel has mold and the aor quality sucked....the smell was unbearable...it is also bet friendly so imagine the smell...i was moved 3 times befor i couls get a room i could stand. Never again.

The property was very close to a concert we were going to attend. We stayed in the suite on the second floor. The building and room seemed very damp maybe due to the fact they have an indoor pool. It was ok but we won't go back.

All people we came in contact with not only were nice but very helpful when asked for help. If they were not the person you wanted they would make sure you were pointed to the right person.

First, it gave me a handicapped suite. I never requested the bathrooms smell sewage and it had roaches. Switch to a different room that one was much better but had roach, and I didn't know that they had bed bugs. Checked out this in the morning halfway on my way home. If my hand start itching me, have a bunch of red bumps, it's a week later, I still have on my arms bites from bed bugs. My son also have one or two bites on him.Not much, but I have majority of the bites on my right arm, few on my left arm. To let them know that they have big bugs and they need not to put anyone in that room. I called them and let them know that they have big bugs, but the young lady who answered the phone at a customer service desk did not sound very enthusiastic.. So please do this, have anyone at that location until they get their stuff cleaned up.. I have stayed at la quinta hotel before, I never have a problem.

The front desk staff was very nice and our room was very clean. I called down for extra blankets and they had them to me withing 5 min. Outstanding!

There was/is nothing to like about this hotel. The hotel is run down, the room smells really bad, and the breakfast was extremely limited and so terrible we had to eat breakfast elsewhere. The pull has definitely seen better days and the mattress was in terrible condition. Choose wisely and stay somewhere better.

I will never stay in this hotel again. The room is stink. Smell like mould elevator is very slow. I don’t recommend it to anyone.

The Fort Myers LaQuinta Inn off I-75 is very convenient to the Fort Myers (RSW) airport and has some good dining options nearby. A few are within walking distance. The room was good, with only one small problem in that the closet door wouldn't stay closed. The desk staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast was fairly good. The location makes it easy to get onto I-75 for your travel to areas within and near Fort Myers. We did not experience any disturbances or problems while staying there (5 days).

Very nice location and close to airport. Gal at check in so nice and informative. Walkable to convenience store and 2 restaurants. Do not go to Rustys unless you want horrible service and food. The hot breakfast was good. Check out easy.

We stayed four nights in January in two rooms, one was a suite. The bedding was comfortable, the heat worked perfectly, the shower was a bit low pressure for people with thick hair, and the breakfast was great except for the Saturday morning biscuits instead of eggs, but waffles were still available. Bacon was better than sausage, but both great. The staff kept it stocked. The cookies at the check in desk were a nice touch. We used the indoor pool once, it was heated nicely. Housekeeping came on two occasions and left new towels. Maintenance replaced both tvs with larger models. Parking was convenient, and we walked to two restaurants. The airport is close. Would stay again, and we come in January for a baseball tournament annually. Drury Suites has been where we’ve stayed, but prices have risen.

So many roaches, came home late night 2 and there was almost ten when we flicked on the bathroom lights they were around the tub toilet and climbing the doors. We reported this but they could not move us. In the morning we were given no compensation even our second part of the booking had been sold out. My fiance was sick from the fumes. I went some where else for the rest of my stay this was horrible.

The hotel was a little disappointing. One of the main reasons we went with this hotel is because of the hot tub. Knowing we would be busy and I have arthritis. It would be a godsend to be able to soak. Turns out that the hot tub was filled in with concrete. But the picture shows that it exists. The elevator had a loud bang every time it became to the first floor and we were just told that that was normal. The air conditioner in our room was leaking all the way to the middle of the floor. When we found it at 10 o’clock at night, we just use towels because we didn’t wanna have to move to another room at that hour.

The only thing I didn’t like were the 3 roaches my husband had to kill. But it was a good stay for the price. You get what you paid for. We didn’t pay that much, so it was solid for the price. I always stayed in this hotel only one that has the jacuzzi they gave me room 107 and it smelled like mold and bug spray we told the receptionist we got there at 8 pm and then around 1 am the next shift receptionist came knocking on my door pounding on it , talking about put your music down, my husband started feeling sick because of the smell we left at 2 am because we never had such a bad experience before no one did anything about the smell , the carpets are so dirty when the towels hit the floor the towels turn black . The experience was so bad I might not go back.

First night had problems with A/,C noisy. Had to shut off and just had ceiling fans. Toilet wouldn't work until I opened it up and fixed. Remote didn't work had to go down and get batteries and put them in. But room was clean.

Room was old, shabby and not very clean.Furniture looked like from a thrift store. No ventilation in bathroom. Toilet and tub had hair that wasn’t ours. Tv was small. Couldn’t control the air conditioner as blank display on wall control. No device charging available. Tub was very shallow and bottom warped. No extra blankets.

No microwave in the breakfast area. Could not warm up butter for waffles. They keep butter in fridge so it was not user friendly for waffles or toast. Table was not washed before we sat down so just covered sticky spots with napkins. Scrambled eggs were loose - I prefer them not so mushy. They tasted fine though. Beds are hard so I laid out pillows to sleep on. TV in room was really small. Tub was a step up so when I got out it was a large step down to bathroom floor. I jolted my knee because it was unexpected. Staff was friendly. Nice to have tile floors versus spotty carpets. There were several restaurants right across the street.
