Quality Suites Fort Myers I-75

Been staying here while working on a project. It is decent and easy to get to my location.

The hotel is a block a major highway which gives it some sound protection, but I would recommend getting the far side room if possible. We rented two rooms and both had air conditioners that rattled. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was nice. One major problem was a very slippery bathtub with no rubber mat or anti slip strips. The hotel was reasonably priced when scheduled in advance. I asked for a receipt on leaving but they said since I booked through Expedia that Expedia would send the receipt. I have not received a receipt from either.

I did not go to the pool or the gym so i cannot comment on that. The staff was friendly, Breakfast was good, I enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio with my morning coffee.

Well you get what you pay for .deadbolt to my room not working,black mold on ceiling in shower and breakfast was not as good as it used to be out of fruit.

Hotel was only adequate. It was well below its rating of 8.4/10--more like a 7.2

Perfect stay

This hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The parking was convenient and the hotel was quiet and comfortable. We did not eat breakfast so cannot comment on that but we did enjoy the always-available coffee. This hotel is also in a very convenient area, right off of I-75 and Daniels Parkway. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to Ft. Myers.

The room was in need of repairs including the bathroom sink was hanging off the wall, no hot water, not handicapped accessible like we reserved. It 2 grab bars in the bathroom. The room was small, dingy and smelled of mildew. When brought to the person at the desk we were told they don’t give refunds, I was hoping they had a different handicapped room but they made no offer. The only good thing was the location otherwise if I could have given them a -10 I would have. I will never stay in this hotel again not even in a different state.

Breakfast was good, pictures are deceiving. There were a lot of nicks and scraps all over the wall. There is no elevator and the only stairs are on each side of the building so if your room is on the second floor in the middle you have to walk dow the hall twice.

Be careful when booking with a third party. (Hotels.com) If you need to make changes in date and/or location you will pay dearly. Even with so called travel insurance. I got hit Hard when we got to the hotel, and the location didn’t work. And we rebooked, using Hotels, and still booked hit with the cost equal to two days. We planned for 6.

Three-night stay and would highly recommend. Clean, quiet, spacious room with nice amenities and comfortable beds. Full, hot breakfast and the property is within walking distance of Waffle House and McDonalds. Close to the airport and a short drive to the beaches.

One suggestion is to heat the pool or heat it a bit more so it can be used during months when evenings and some days are cool Breakfast was not nearly as good as last year when we stayed for a couple weeks. Only green or brown bananas for fruit, no oranges (c’mon it’s Florida), no apples and only 2 choices of cereal. Nothing that kids would want.

Bathroom was disgusting. So much air freshener in the halls and the rooms I could taste it. Hotel needs an update. Carpet was also disgusting down the hallway.

Our bedroom door was missing a lock. The outside door that said it was supposed to be locked 24 hours, the lock was painted over. The air conditioning did not keep up and than froze up.

Treadmill was out of order. Pool area was great. Pool not heated however.

Our stay was short! It was close to Fort Meyers airport downtown and not far from most shopping and attractions.

Very poor communication between Expedia and the hotel added a second day to my stay paid for two days, but Expedia and the hotel did not have the same information. I almost had to pay again for a second night. I think it was more of the problem with Expedia, not the hotel.

Our room was clean, however the carpet was damp and it had a smell of musty water. The toilet didn't flush completely. When we checked in the front desk lady was amazing in accommodating our needs

I landed at 11pm and they called me at 11:05 to tell me they had given my room away and they had no more rooms. Furthermore they did not have other arrangements made for me. Best part was there were no other hotels with rooms in the area. Almost had to sleep in my car because of this. Worse experience and they should be held accountable.

Staff was very courteous. The room was clean, but definitely in need of some updating. This sofa was badly stained and appeared to be in need of replacement or at least a good cleaning.

The staff was friendly but the room was average. The comforter had stains on it. There was a bug in the bathroom but it went behind the picture on the wall before I could kill it or take a picture. The water temperature in the shower was either too hot or very cold. There was no warm. Also, the door in the hallway to the outside did not have a lock on it. Anyone off the street could walk in. My room was close to this door and I heard conversation in the hallway around midnight each night. I would not stay here again.

Yes we had a problem at check in but was corrected also bath room sink in room 211 had no sink plug had to be very careful with rings or anything that could fall in sorry I did not have a chance to tell the desk we were in a hurry.

I’d call it the No Quality Inn. Lobby looks nice. Room was $250 a night. Furniture was beat up, sink drain was loose and had to be removed for the sink to drain, and we never got cool in there in the 36 hours we were there. Very humid in the room. Plus, our room was just off the lobby so we couldn’t open the curtains. The front driveway was right there.

Two things stood out that folks should know about: 1) There's no elevator for 2nd floor other than what appeared to be for handicap use in the lobby, and it was closed off. You have to go to the end of the hall and up stairs to access the 2nd floor. This was a challenge with bad knees, and while the staff was very friendly, they did not ask or offer a room on the 1st floor. So be sure to ask for a room on the 1st floor if you really can't do stairs. I was there one night so I dealt with it. 2) There was a tractor trailer parked right outside our room facing the back that was running a generator all night long. It was noisy and impacted sleep quality. This may not be related to the tractor trailer, but there was a portable meat smoker or cooker sitting next to the curb in the back parking. No one was using it, but why was it there? Also, the side doors were not locked all night. We came back around midnight and didn't need a key to enter the building. The stairs to the 2nd floor is right there, so it made me pause as to how secure or safe it is, especially if staying alone.

Bed bugs or fleas

Staff was very helpful; room was nice, clean and comfortable. Need another bedside stand so both people in room can reach their water, phones etc. Security could have been better. The side door to parking lot was unlocked during entire stay. Looked like the sensor for the card key was broken. Location is convenient for airport, but very busy with traffic. Breakfast was good, but would be better with choice of meat since some people don't like sausage. Nice, updated lobby and breakfast room. Pool was nice.

Everything was great - clean room and clean chairs/tables around the pool. Fast food within walking distance if that's your thing or you can cross a street to get to some restaurants. Conveniently located near the airport, I'd stay here again :)

I supposedly did not get the room I reserved, which according to the desk person was and ADA room (not what I reserved anyway). She went on to chastise me about needing to look more closely at the codes for each type of room so it wouldn't happen again...Whatever. The accommodations were fine, there is no elevator in this facility which wasn't an issue, but could be for some people.

Difficult to recommend staying here . Breakfast is good but a lot of bugs under coffee machine . Every time we turned on our bathroom light bugs scattered into shower gaps . The treadmill was broken during our stay . It’s a very odd metal bed that makes a very loud metal clank when you get on of off it . Noisey air con . Other hotels in the area were much better .

We just stopped to get some sleep between midnight and 5:30am because we were too tired to drive two more hours to get home after arriving in Miami on our returning flight. Very friendly employee checked us in. Room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent value. Would stay here again if I was ever in the area in need of a room.

Was a little on the outdated side! Needed some work on the whole place! The bathroom door in our room was coming off the hing so it wouldn’t close properly and the door going to the outside of the motel didn’t have a key entry so someone could just stroll right in in the middle of the night so a little nerve racking!!

Our stay was 14 days. Other than the marijuana smell in the hallway, everything else was great. Very good breakfast. Room was clean and the staff was excellent.

I was very pleased with the condition of the room. It did smell a little like cigarettes but everything was clean. The room was spacious with a couch and desk. The shower was large and everything was working properly. Breakfast was good with eggs, bacon, danish, waffles etc.

Pool was good

Our first room has significant water damage, smelled moldy and had black mold on the ceiling. They were able to get another room but only after acting like they were booked. The second room was much better, but still had a very, very musty smell. The second day the key did not work in the evening and after standing out in the lobby, 15 minutes, waiting for the clerk to show up, we finally found him out in his car. He fixed the keys, but then disappeared again. The bedding was not changed like I asked it to be, but he was able to get me new sheets to put on myself. The next day, I did write a note to the housekeepers and they changed the bedding. Breakfast was subpar but at least there was waffles that the kids could eat. The washer was out of service so that was super inconvenient to have to make time to go to the laundromat. The outside doors that you were supposed to use your key card, opened without using your card and the pool was easily accessible to non-guests, both are huge safety issues!

I think its important that the front desk personnel acknowledge the guest first, but apart from that everything else was great.

The noise continued and worsened around 10 PM with boys running, stomping, and yelling. When I asked the clerk for help, she said another team had just returned and caused the noise but refused to come hear it herself. At 11 pm, I saw adults and kids loudly arguing and running in the hallway. When I politely asked them to keep it down, a woman angrily told me to “go to bed.” I complained again to the clerk, who blamed me for choosing the second floor. She offered only a king-bed room on the first floor, but that wouldn’t fit four people. She said two rooms were possible only if we paid for the second. I asked to speak to a supervisor; she claimed to be the supervisor but said a higher one was only available the next morning. We stayed both nights but were disappointed by the lack of help and accommodations. The staff blamed us rather than fixing the situation.

Property was fine. Our room smelled musty from the moment we walked in as if the carpet was previously very wet. We booked the hotel for a couple reasons and one was for the washer and dryer on site since we were there for baseball and needed to wash uniforms. Was not happy to hear that it didn’t work.

Loved the complimentary breakfast! Really made a difference in the experience, and also the staff was so friendly!

Room was clean, bathroom was modern and clean, ample towels. Breakfast is from 6-9AM make sure you are there before 9 or there is no breakfast for you. period. Staff friendly, quiet areas.

The property is tired and in need of a good scrubbing.There was no operating elevator and luggage had to be hauled up a very dirty concrete staircase. The front desk attendant was rude and mumbled responses.

It was located near to the interstate for easy access. The staff were friendly but the pillows were too soft .

Our AC did not work in room.. upon changing rooms we had to pay upgrade because there wete no more rooms like we had. The room we were put in smelled musty so they sprayed it and we had to stay outside for a long time because of the smell of spray . It was just an inconvenience

The bed was extremely lower to the floor than usual and it made it uncomfortable to sleep in. Also, the sink and shower water pressure was extremely low and not enough for adequate use.

This place was absolutely, hands down, the best place I have ever stayed for the money. Yes, I have stayed in more upscale places, but paid WAY more. We actually stayed here for 2-1/2 weeks, which wasn’t necessarily our original plan, but we were so happy with the place and the price, we thought “why would we move”? So …. SUPER clean, really nice and helpful staff, comfortable bed and pillows and bed linens. Pool area was nice, but the one thing I wasn’t thrilled with is that the pool was not heated and we didn’t use it much for that reason. We sat out there and played cards with friends, which was nice, but spent very little time in the water. I can’t say enough about the high level of maintenance and cleanliness of this place. Will absolutely stay again without hesitation. The person who manages this place is a rock star! Heat the pool and the place is a 10! I do wish all hotels would go back to the 4 cup drip coffee makers. The pods make terrible coffee and I can’t use my own. Also a separate recycle receptacle would be good. Breakfast was pretty good, several options to choose from, hot and cold. Regular sliced bread for toast would have been nice.

I did not like it did not have a elevator I had my elderly mom and it was difficult going up and down the stairs with luggage child and elderly . Not what i expected. Other than that the staff was very friendly .

Easy access to the main highway. Fast food within walking distance. But the best part is that the hotel was spotless and quiet.

The lobby was nice on first impression. The room had black mold on the ceiling, the carpets need to be replaced, the air conditioner needed a deep cleaning, dead cockroach in the tub plus other little bugs crawling around.it smelled like moldy. The cabinet where the refrigerator fit into was rotten an moldy. NO BED BUGS ! So that’s a plus. Carpets in the hallway need to be replaced. So what it boils down to is the Suites need a face lift in the worst way!

I stay in hotels often. I'll leave the hotel names out, but one hotel in particular, was a five star hotel. In my opinion, Quality Suits,this one in particular, has cleaner and better upkept rooms! Maybe not better quality furniture, but a lot cheaper than the five star hotel. I will definitely stay here again. Also, I do recommend this hotel. The only caviot would be they dont have an elevator. Which was fine to me. But for others it could be needed. And that they need to replace the shower heads.

Quiet and clean hotel that looks like has been recently remodeled. Not fancy, but good value for the money and conveniently located (about 10-12 minutes from FCGU and 5 minutes from lots of shopping and dining off Alico Rd - 1 exit South).

One suggestion: if you don’t plan to repair the lift, then remodel the stairwell. The chipped, dirty paint and stark fluorescent lights give a very poor impression of the hotel.

I really liked the location! Walkable to a grocery store, two pharmacies, and also numerous fast food restaurants right there. There is also a running/biking path right in front so it was convenient since I like to exercise even on vacarion. Staff very helpful and kind.
