Location to the hospital was great. Staff at night, was awesome. Breakfast was good. We checked in after 10pm with a child and the room we were given on the 2nd floor smelled of weed. The night girl moved us immediately. The elevator needs work, it's sketchy and the paperwork was out of date.

Checked in and went to the room. Entering the room it smelled musty and foul. The bed linens were dirty. The phone did not work. The bathroom toilet seat was not bolted on. The bathroom mirror was dirty. The carpet was dirty and frayed. I went downstairs to tell the staff. She assigned me another room. The second room had minimal lighting in the bathroom with only half the mirror lights working. There was mold around the shower as well as a stopped up tub drain. The room also had a musty smell. There was hair on the pillowcase, dust on the walls and lamps, particles of hair and dirt around the bed skirt. It was also noisy with people slamming doors, walking hard upstairs, and dogs barking inside. Was not a pleasant stay.

Breakfast was great, beds very comfortable, nice that there was a coffee and tea service in the lobby staff very nice. Also hotel cleanliness great and lobby area was arranged with pretty furniture a huge flat screen TV enjoyed sitting there and reading. A mirror on the wall in the room not just in the bathroom.

Also, the fire alarm went off sometime around 10:30 the night we stayed. From our window on the front side we saw firemen arrive and then leave without incident so we assumed it was a mistake, however, there was zero communication from hotel staff.

The room was very clean, but the carpet was frayed. We had trouble getting the tv to work due to connectivity. My biggest complaint that it was Memorial Day and the pool wasn’t open yet- disappointing to my kid. That was the reason we chose that hotel-so he could swim.

Rooms were dirty. In our first room 2 lamps were broken and the tv did not work. They gave is a new room and the tv only got 1 channel. The overall condition of the room was gross.

Nicer than most in the $100+ range. It seemed clean although could use some updating as far as carpets, curtains, etc. were concerned. They did provide a limited breakfast buffet/walk through line of toast, bagels, make them yourself waffles, yogurt, scrambled eggs and sausage. The breakfast was ok. We're too picky to eat any of the prepared items but we were able to get a little breakfast via bagels, muffins, etc.

The place was good unfortunately in my stay there were a couple of building alarms that did not make the place as comfortable as I wanted.

Overall, the parking lot is small, parking is not really the best. Could have more of exterior lights. My rooms were clean, one of the bulbs in the bathroom were out, but I did notify the staff. And they were very accepting of that.

The vent above toilet had cold water leak that would drop while sitting on toilet. It soaked a full size bath towel during the night. We reported it when we checked out and staff claimed they didn’t know about it.

The room had a terrible odor of burnt coffee. The tv would not program, therefore we would never stay there again. Room was not very clean, carpet was dirty and a dirty sock was found under the bed.

The sheets smelled like dog,( old shieets ) the room had an unpleasant odor, and the AC was very noisy. Cleanliness was lacking, and the breakfast was disappointing. No body lotion at the bathroom — gosh la quinta ! You can do better ! The only highlight was the staff, who were very friendly. Unfortunately, that alone doesn’t make up for the rest.

The front desk person was very kind and apologetic. We had no room phone, the tv remote would change channels but did not work power, only one mirror in bathroom no other one at all and the lights were so soft you could barely see to put makeup on(I had two rooms with 3 women (daughters) in one and while the bed was OK the pillows were the size of throw pillows and hard as a rock The Breakfast was simply OK. We were there for a funeral so it would have been nice to rest. I did give my complaints to the front desk again he was very nice.

Floor in room and hallway dirty, there was a horribly loud noise that happened all through the night that sounds like a jack hammer. Doors to the outdoors have no locks, ice machines don’t work. Property shouldn’t be open

Upon check in we were told the type of room we reserved was not available. The room we got needed updating, sink water pressure non existent but shower pressure was fine. Breakfast was Ok. Bed was comfortable. Location was convenient and quiet.

Asked for a late check out when we checked in and it was approved by the front desk however at 10 am they started calling the room and knocking on the door asking when I was checking out I informed them of my late check out at noon and the front desk acted like they didn’t believe me.

Everything was fine, we only spent 1 night. The hotel is animal friendly but they don’t have doggie bags outside and I’m going to assume that’s the reason NO ONE picks up after their dogs outside around the hotel. The hotel should either provide bags and trash cans or go around and pick up the dog poop, because as a dog owner this will make your fur babies sick. There was sooo much dog poop it was gross.

We had to make 3room changes because of TV wouldn’t work in our first room and then heater didn’t work in other 2 rooms. Our room was nice, clean and big and staff were helpful and friendly and the area around the hotel had many dining choices.

Clean room, bed fairly comfortable, breakfast was poor. About a cup of gravy in pot, watery thin possibly from the day before since I was at breafast at 6am. Waffle mix watered down and poured out of waffle iron when flipped.

The bed was very comfortable. We had to go get our own towels 2 days. I don’t mind reusing those but they only give you a washrag per person they say every 2 days. But our room wasn’t done 2 days straight. The one day it was cleaned they took all towels and left none. The phone started making noises through speaker in night so we unplugged it. The last night the elevator smelled so strong of weed and so did hallway and we smelled it all night in room.

The room had terrible lighting. One light bulb was burned out, the TV would not work and when they "fixed" it, you had to use the input button the the remote to work it. Very difficult. The mechanism on the heater/cooler didn't work well and we had to have someone look at it. I have never been in a hotel room that had such poor lighting. Only one light in the bathroom which shown behind the mirror. They used so much disinfectant that the complete hotel had an odor. Would never stay again and would NOT recommend.

Clean room, A/C was good. A continental breakfast plus eggs, sausage pancakes. Good stay. Only drawback if it is a concern is that the side door had no lock. When i asked abou5 it out of curiosity it was said it had been that way sor some time. Ot was electronic lock but not working and anyone can just pull open the door to go in. There is still locks on guests rooms so was not a concern for me but it might be for ladies traveling alone.

When we arrived, we were greeted by one of the friendliest hotel employees I have ever met. She asked great questions, and we ended up having a meaningful conversation about education. She comes from an education background, and I’ve recently started working in that field myself, so it was a memorable and positive interaction. Her kindness was the highlight of our stay. However, once we got to our room, things took a different turn. The hotel itself felt a bit sketchy, with visible damage to the furniture and walls. While the room wasn’t extremely dirty, the overall condition raised some concerns. As we always do, we checked the bedding and mattress for signs of pests or bed bugs and didn’t immediately see any issues. What I am about to say is not a reflection of the wonderful employee who checked us in. After we got home, my wife began experiencing intense itching on her scalp. She was later diagnosed with lice. In 12 years of marriage, this is the first time she has ever dealt with lice, and our children were not with us on this trip. I am also bald, so we know it didn’t come from our household. Because of the timing and the condition of the room, we can’t help but suspect that the lice came from the hotel. We truly appreciated the kindness of the staff, but unfortunately, the condition of the room and the aftermath of our stay will make us think twice before booking here again.

The building smells horrible and the second floor was worse! The tub stopper wouldn’t close. The toilet seat was about to fall off. The elevator was making a boom sound when it stops. Scared my wife to death. We’ve stayed in LQ’s for many years and have noticed a great decline in the hotels since Wyndham took over. We won’t be back to this one for sure.

The owners are very very co-operative and handle business customers with top respect and cordiality. I wish them good luck and I made this as my ONLY CHOICE in Fort Smith.

The shower in the room did not work and the bathtub drained ultra slow. The room smelled like something was spilled in there by whoever was in their prior and they just couldn’t get it out if I didn’t arrive so late I would’ve asked to change rooms, but I’m driving across the country and just wanted to fall asleep. I had to go buy a shower token from a gym nearby in order to take a shower in the morning because of the condition of the shower in the room I was in. I’ve stayed at La Quinta Inn and suites the last five days across the country and this is by far been the worst experience so the point of where I’m not gonna be choosing them moving forward.

Check in and check out were quick and easy. The bed squeaked and the pillows offered no support. Otherwise, we were comfortable. It was fun meeting other travelers with pets. Breakfast was decent, but rather repetitive. We had an issue with a clogged toilet that staff helped us resolve promptly. Overall, it was good.

The bed in the room we were given at check in was partly unmade with a used towel on the nightstand. See photo. The room we were moved to had poor lighting, a dirty hot tub and we saw a cockroach.

Checking in was simple. Front desk worker was kind and efficient. First room we were given had a broken air conditioner. We were quickly given another room when we informed the front desk. We were impressed with clean rooms and facility as a whole. Biggest concern was the side entrance to the hotel that was completely broken and therefore unlocked for public.

Bed was comfortable, hot breakfast was very good, room was quiet.

La Quinta has always been our favorite place to stay, specially traveling with family. Boys like making their own waffles, good times.

1st room i was given had a queen bed when reservation was for a king, front desk told me all rooms were queen. Was being charged although room had already been paid for plus 1st room air conditioner didn't work. All this entailed my going down to get another room, which was then a king.

An affordable motel with a comfortable bed. The handicapped room had a step in tub without a bar too help you get out. The toilet ran the whole time we were there. The breakfast was warm and good but not much variety. It was close to restaurants and shopping.

We found a black, rotten orange in our room while we were staying and it looked like it had been there for a few weeks.

Only gave a 4 star because I booked a king bed but was given a room with a full bed. Didn’t argue about because I had traveled a long way and was tired.

Second room was clean but everything felt wet from the humidity of the AC unit. The bedding felt old, the pillows were like laying on mulch bags, did not sleep well at all. Woke up 2 hours before needing to get up because I was in a lot of pain from the very uncomfortable bed and pillows. Ive stayed at better La Quinta Inns than this.

We had a baby and was told that there would be a crib. They said there was only 2 for the whole hotel and were already in use. We had to go buy our own from Walmart, this was the main reason we chose hotel, we should have been reimbursed for our expense.

The website of the property and expedia both said yhe pool would be open. The only reason i did not get a free unit from my company was the pool. I got there and the pool was closed. I asked the manager and they said it rained to much, which I know is a bogus excuse as i am in the hotel industry. I want a refund.

This is an older La Quinta but the room was clean and the check in was quick. The breakfast was pretty standard, however, the staff lady working it was so helpful and nice.

There were several eating places within walking distance. After driving quite a bit is was nice to be able to walk to Outback

This property is very worn down. I wasn’t happy at all. I’m usually not a complainer. Felt dirty. When I tried to go to sleep the fan would come on quietly then the air conditioner would kick on and make a loud noise until it kicked off for about 5 minutes then the same process again all night long. It definitely kept me from sleeping much ugh. Then at breakfast the breakers kept flipping food was cool. I won’t be staying here again.

The bed room seemed nice when walking in, all of the room doors SLAM behind you. I turned on all the lights and to my surprise found a roach running in the tub. Me and my husband thought long a hard about if we should stay the night there or not. We came to the conclusion that maybe it was just ONE that came from the last visitors ? Maybe it’s not a major problem?? We decided to stay and did not see anymore . Other problems: The ice machines were not working except the 1st floor. There was a long dripped line of blood on the side of the toilet. The room did not smell clean. Breakfast was mediocre. The waffle maker was super outdated.

The parking lot was small and full. The backdoor did not lock. The walls were dirty throughout. The night clerk was very nice.

Great for an overnight in Fort Smith

We were traveling through as part of a longer trip. The check in was easy, the room was clean and comfortable. We slept really well. We were able to sleep in and have breakfast.

The breakfast was off the charts. They had sausage and eggs as well as the standard cereal bar with oatmeal, coffee, juices and waffles. Definitely a good deal for the price.

Thought the room was nice, and clean. But disappointed they didn’t empty our trash after we removed the do not disturb sign a little before 10am. We were gone for about 7 hours that day. Ice machine not working. Overall a real nice place!

The property was nicely renovated. The hard flooring was so much nicer than carpet! Everything was clean and in good working order. The full breakfast was appreciated.

We've stayed La Quinta's in other areas that were awesome. This one was just average. We could hear the people in the room above us walk which was unusual. The lighting was not the best in the bathroom. It did serve our needs though.

The room smell like there was damp water inside. We ask the lady for extra pillows and sheet but refused. She said she doesn’t provide those items, which is mind boggling. I’ve never heard such thing. One the bulb was blown in the restroom. It was dark. Maintenance was not available to fix u til the next day.

The receptionist went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. She made sure we were on the ground floor for my husband who has limited mobility. When we couldn’t get the TV to work she came to the room and found the problem for us. A connection had come loose from the wall. Would definitely recommend.
