Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews, with some guests praising the cleanliness, comfort, and friendly staff, while others expressed dissatisfaction with unprofessional behavior, dirty bathrooms, and lack of complimentary breakfast. One particular issue that stood out was a disrespectful and unprofessional interaction with a front desk representative named Davi.
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Friendly and professional staff (except Davi)
- Unprofessional behavior from Davi
- Lack of complimentary breakfast
- 4/5
The only complaint I had was not good water pressure to wash hair and the conditioner was empty.

Nothing. The lady up front doesn’t use her brain and literally charged me twice for a room after i repeatedly showed her our confirmation through booking.com and then lied about my refund which I still have not received The lady up front doesn’t use her brain and literally charged me twice for a room after i repeatedly showed her our confirmation through booking.com and then lied about my refund which I still have not received

Incredible as it sounds, upon check-in with my wife, I was told that we would receive just one free breakfast and that we would have to buy the second one. The person at the counter said that we should book our hotel directly through Marriott next time and not through Booking.com; in that way we would get two free breakfasts instead of just one!!! I told the woman at the counter we won't be staying at Marriott hotels in the future.
- 5/5
Wonderful location! Right next to the trail and many restaurants and shops! The weather, but the property is not at fault.
- 5/5
The breakfast was made to order and very good. They have a Starbucks menu there, and that was nice. Rooms were nice and comfortable. Pool is not heated, but was clean
- 4/5
OK
- 2/5
Room was handicapped
- 3/5
Also I thought breakfast was included They gave me a handicapped room I dont know why😭😭
- 5/5
Convenient
- 5/5
Clean room, staff amazing
- 4/5
Great, but the ac needs to be cleaned due to moldy odor. Otherwise great gym and service.
- 5/5
Convenient, safe and great for a quick trip. The location is near everything we need.
- 4.5/5
Clean, good location. Close to TCU for work. Friendly staff. I would have liked free water in the room and a travel size lotion.
- 2/5
There was no complimentary breakfast, there were stains in the shower, tv remote was very unresponsive
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Expedia charged be extra for breakfast. When I got to the hotel there was no breakfast.
- 5/5
We didn’t eat the breakfast or visit the pool this trip
- 4/5
Comfortable bed, clean. Thin walls.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff, quiet and safe feeling.
- 5/5
Everything is so clean ?
- 5/5
Easy parking, nice facility. Friendly staff.
- 3/5
The mattress was atrocious--sqeaking with every little move--with rough uneven padding. Definitely needs replacing. Would have been nice to have had an extra blanket available. Also, we were assigned a handicapped room instead of the king bed with a sofa sleeper that was booked. Oh well, at least the breakfast was actually good.
- 5/5
Nice comfortable hotel. Great staff, nice rooms, all amenities. Great location - walking distance to restaurants, shopping, trail walk.
- 3/5
The bed The decorations. So, how no one seemed to be around.
- 0.5/5
had to pay for parking
- 5/5
Clean convenient
- 4/5
Clean with good amenities
- 5/5
Seems to be newly redecorated or very well kept up. We stay here every time we come to fort worth and it is always in good shape. The location is very convenient to the cultural district and restaurants.
- 5/5
Quiet, cozy, clean, great location close to shopping district and restaurants! The TV station were going in and out maybe due to bad weather.
- 3/5
AC was noisy, parking was $13 a night, and I was charged for a phantom $6 bottle of water when checking out.
- 5/5
Amazing staff, very accommodating.
- 4/5
Very friendly staff
- 5/5
👍
- 5/5
Location is great for the venue we were attending I was a little disappointed, I had booked a King room, but when I checked in I was told there were none available, so I was given two Queens instead.
- 5/5
Great room, quiet, staff needed to come more than 1 time in 6 days.
- 5/5
Everything amazing 👏
- 1/5
Hotel staff was very unhelpful and rude.
- 1/5
No rollout beds, even though they are advertised on the hotel amenities and the room description.
- 1/5
We booked this hotel specifically because it advertised having large rooms and rollaway’s available. When we arrived, they told us the hotel does not have rollaways. I showed them the listing and the description for the room, both specifically listing rollaway beds as an option. They were quite rude about us using Expedia to book and advised us never to use Expedia in the future and only book through the hotel directly. We ended up needing to purchase a second room for our stay. When we tried to book through the front desk at the hotel, they wanted to charge us 50% MORE per night than the room was listed on Expedia. Needless to say, we booked the second room through Expedia.
- 3.5/5
Location cleanliness Couldn’t get TV to turn on !!! Helped us first time but felt bad about asking them every time!
- 4/5
Wonderful staff, clean rooms, great location.
- 4/5
Check in was great manager took awesome care of us!!
- 4/5
We have stayed at the Courtyard a dozen times this year. It has always been a clean, friendly place. We appreciate the Starbucks coffee counter and very hospitable workers.
- 4/5
Clean
- 4.5/5
Clean, nice amenities and in a very good location Using Apple Map directions or even uber/lyft; it indicates that the parking lot is open and accessible from multiple points but that did not appear to be the case as the lot was closed in by a metal fence.
- 4/5

- 4/5
This property you must buy breakfast, which isn’t typical for Marriott properties. More costly than most Marriott properties for what you get.
- 5/5
So close to TCU
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Great place convenient to TCU!
- 4/5
Very nice but a little pricey, seems like all hotels are getting way to high
- 5/5
Close to hospital
- 4/5
Overall great. For the price, housekeeping/ making bed should be done.
- 4.5/5
Pool was a bit hot and in center of all rooms no privacy not very relaxing no shade
- 3/5
Friendly staff
- 3/5
This Courtyard by Marriott was clean and well maintained. After check-in, I was slipped a small piece of paper with my room keys. The paper slip showed an additional parking charge of $13.00 dollars and instructions to place the paper on the vehicle dash or be towed. The hotel is not located in a downtown area where parking charges are to be expected or near a football stadium, etc. Parking was not valet. The parking lot was not fenced, it wasn’t a gated garage, it did not have posted security. Just a parking lot. Like McDonald’s. My research pre booking did not reveal any parking charges associated with the hotel. Surprise. Like being charged for parking at Walmart. This felt like a disguised resort fee at a budget hotel. Coffee in the morning came with $9.00 charge. I was ambushed by Courtyard by Marriott’s nickel and dime shell game policies. Be better.
- 5/5
Convent located to TCU. Very friendly staff and clean facilities.
- 5/5
Honestly the staff were incredible and very helpful. This location is excellent and very close to the Zoo , shopping and restaurants. I would recommend anyone visiting to stay here , especially families.
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
Was a good hotel with a great location. Resturants a plenty and is within minutes of plenty activities. Room was very clean and comfortable but the bed was kinda hard. But when thats the only complaint, its worth coming back.
- 3/5
Overall - not a great experience. The refrigerator was iced over and not working properly. After telling them, we didn’t appreciate them showing up at 7:30am to look at it. The whole room smelt like mildew/mold. Those were the smallest and most uncomfortable queen beds.
- 5/5
Convenient for the area we needed to be close to.
- 5/5
Loved this place! Everything was updated and new. The location was fantastic. Only 5 minutes to the zoo and the river is directly in front of the hotel. We could walk down to it! The Starbucks on site was perfect too! Bed was comfy, pillows came in soft or firm which was nice. Everything was very clean! No free continental breakfast.
- 5/5
Great location! I will come again. My daughter is a student at TCU.
- 4/5
The room with King size bed. Had nats & didn't get cool. The first queen size room was cool. Thank you.
- 3/5
Staff at the front was not very helpful, and seemed to just not want to be there. We booked through Expedia for a bedroom with a king bed and pull out couch bed for our toddler. When we arrived the lady at the front questioned why we were in an accessible room- we switched to a different room and it had the one bed which was fine because we were in and out, just very odd encounter. She slipped a little paper in our check in card holder, describing the parking situation and did not let us know verbally that parking is charged over night. Just was not a very friendly encounter. My card was also charged for $50 as we checked in which i’m assuming is held for damages until you check out and they inspect the room, but then a random $20 charge came through at 2:40AM. Just a very odd experience.
- 4/5
I liked the location of the property, check in went well, the amenities were nice, room was clean and well stocked. It's time to retire the mattress. There was a cavernous indentation in the mattress and it was not comfortable. That's the only complaint. There was also some strange black tar that is dripping off the gutters onto the wall of the exterior of the hotel and pooling in the bed by the door that needs to be looked at.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice; fairly clean, comfortable, accessible to various restaurants and activities (zoo and garden were very close). Odd the elevator was on one side of the hotel and our room was on the opposite side making for a bit of a walk but no huge deal. Overall solid place to stay.
- 5/5
We went to be close to Dickie Arena to go to a concert. Excellent choice.
- 5/5
We got a ground floor courtyard room that had a door leading out to the pool. Perfect for a family! Great space for all 6 of us and a really good pull out sofa.
- 4/5
Think I got bitten by bed bugs
- 4/5
We were there for a concert at Dickies Arena so the location was great.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 5/5
I love going there a lot. I like the staff
- 5/5
Clean, nice spacious room. Pool was nice, close to the university. Nice restaurants and shops close by.
- 5/5
Took my mom for a night so we could go to the zoo the next day. Lady it front desk was super sweet. Walked over the to Woodshed across the street for a lovely dinner then back to hotel for an evening swim. It was very quiet. The next day we had some trouble getting back into our rooms around 12:45 even though we had asked for a late check out. A bit annoying but the same lady at the front desk helped me & was super nice again. The two things that were disappointing was no breakfast downstairs unless I paid & the water pressure was super low. Overall the service was great. Thumbs up to super nice cleaning ladies too!
- 5/5
😂
- 5/5
Loved the front desk
- 5/5
Greeted the minute we walked through the door by a very professional young lady, made us feel very welcome! Very clean room, comfortable bed & nice linens. The grounds, especially around the pool were very manicured! Great location, safe. N/A
- 5/5
The staff was very kind and patient. They were willing to work with us through a delayed check and provide plenty of options to aid us in the long run
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
New renovated property in excellent condition.
- 5/5
I like how clean the room was it made me feel comfortable staying there. I will definitely stay here again. However, there is no free complimentary breakfast but the bistro cafe was good. I would say that the no free complimentary breakfast would need to get updated about to prevent further confusion.
- 4.5/5
Pricing is ridiculous for a room with 2 beds and a bathroom. No free breakfast items anymore. $270 for ONE NIGHT. Arrived at 10:30pm, left at 9::30am and all it provided was a place to sleep and a shower. NO excuse for these prices. The "tariffs" are not impacting hotels. The cost of the room was outrageous.
- 5/5
I really love the area! The hotel was nice, clean, and safe. It was perfect for going to the zoo.
- 5/5
The in-house cafe was a convenient option and the tood was very good.
- 5/5
Great for visiting students at TCU
- 5/5
Great clean hotel in walking distance to shops and food
- 5/5
Our second time staying at this property and it was wonderful!
- 5/5
I liked eveyrhjngb
- 3/5
Walls thin as paper, ran down hotel
- 4/5
I loved being across the street from the walking trail and just down the street from upscale shopping. The staff was so kind. I didn't like having to pay for parking. I missed free breakfasts.
- 5/5
Nice property and convenient to the campus.
- 5/5
I wish they had complimentary coffee.
- 5/5
Clean and efficient
- 5/5
Hotel was just remodeled. Staff was great
- 5/5
This is my hotel of choice for anything at TCU. It is convent, has good breakfasts, staff is friendly, and rooms are comfortable.
- 5/5
Easy parking, close to a very good outdoor indoor restaurant.
- 3/5
It was clean, however.
- 5/5
Very convenient location
- 5/5
Property updates noted.
- 4/5
Did not state what time breakfast was. We paid for it but due to not having anything available till 630 we didn’t get to eat. And no refund.
- 5/5
The Starbucks
- 5/5
Easy check in and quiet.
- 1/5
Tried to cancel my reservation but your website made it impossible. My review is being censored
- 5/5
Nicely renovated property, great staff, good value.
- 4/5
It wasn’t a busy weekend evident by the parking lot. I was Pissed that I had to lay $12 for parking. I’ll never stay there again
- 5/5
Amazing stay..very accommodating.. slept soooo good!!!
- 5/5
I took my dad on a trip to Forth Worth and we had an amazing time. We were glad we stayed at the hotel. The service was absolutely amazing. The staff was very kind and respectful to us. We really appreciate the hospitality. It really go a long way when people treat you kind and respectful. Especially, if you're a guest. I will definitely stay at Courtyard from now on. All the staff should be recognized for their hard work and dedication to their job.
- 4/5
I liked the staff, the beds were comfortable. We had to pay for breakfast, and parking, but don't need to at other hotels. Overall nice place. I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Great spot needed for a quick visit to Fort Worth very close to Trinity park, botanic garden and zoo
- 5/5
We reserved this hotel for a night after a concert at Dickie’s Arena. It was very conveniently located to the concert venue and a number of restaurants and shops are even walking distance. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel but it was easy to check into. The room was accommodating and clean. Would recommend.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel in a great location.
- 4/5
Didn’t have free breakfast and there was construction around the area- noisy
- 4/5
Great place to relax after being out all day!
- 2/5
Great location from TCU campus. They charge for parking and they are not even located downtown.
- 5/5
Great area
- 5/5
I love how everyone was so welcoming and kind!! the hotel was very homey, quiet and clean. would definitely book there again!
- 4/5
The Courtyard is tucked away but close to everything. It was quiet and clean. The TV didn't work and I wasn't there long enough to have them fix it.
- 5/5
Clean. Safe. Close to TCU
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
I would highly recommend this place. . We were here for my granddaughter birthday so we had several rooms. It’s great place for family gatherings. Never had an issue and the staff was just incredible! Highly recommend. And very clean.
- 5/5
Everyone was nice and the property is safe and super clean. The court yard is beautiful
- 4/5

- 4/5

- 5/5
Sheets didn’t match bed size so keep coming off
- 5/5
Very nice one night stay! Checkin was super easy. Operations Manager checked me in & she was super friendly & professional. (sorry I don't remember her name, only her title).
- 5/5
Everything was comfortable and clean. Will choose this hotel again.
- 5/5
good
- 3/5
No complimentary breakfast and bistro had limited selections.
- 5/5
Staff was great.
- 5/5
Amazing staff!
- 5/5
Older property. But clean and great service
- 5/5
Clean, courteous staff
- 4/5
Breakfast should always be included
- 4/5
Room clean and comfortable. One side lamp was not plugged in; went to plug it in but outlet was very unstable. Breakfast was a bit confusing. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Excellent location. Staff was very personable; friendly and helpful!! Thank you!
- 5/5
Nice rooms, convenient location, reasonable price.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Easy parking. Quick visit.
- 5/5
Close proximity to the zoo and within reasonable distance from the stockyards
- 3/5
Nice place. Lady at desk was not at all friendly and when I had to change rooms I was not given a room that had the same features. Like I didn’t matter. Other than that other hotel personnel were very nice.
- 5/5
Always a convenient place to stay when visiting TCU. Ease of parking, proximity to shopping and Woodshed is an added plus.
- 5/5
Great location, friendly service
- 5/5
Amazing as always. My go to hotel when I come to Fort Worth.
- 5/5
This place was awesome! I wish they had food options 24 hours a day
- 2/5
I paid twice as much the second night ($250) as I did the first night. 250 is a lot to pay for listening to high school cheerleaders run up and down the halls. I would also think there would be better room service, etc. The services provided do not equal the level of customer pay.
- 5/5
Love this place! Quiet and freshly renovated, it is lovely
- 4/5
Nice property friendly staff and clean rooms. Expected to have a balcony room only reason booked there and none of them were clean according to staff when checked in. Outside fireplace also didn’t work would have been excellent for those cold nights.
- 4/5
Comfortable bed, good atmosphere and location. TV in the room had picture quality issues.
- 4/5
Only one negative, the water pressure in the shower was barely more than a trickle. Suggest moving some of the pressure from the toilet to the shower.
- 2/5
Great place and would have given it a five but i reserved a king size room and when i checked in they had no king's available. I made the reservation well in advance also. Don't understand what the purpose of reserving a room and then they dont have one. Very disappointed.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The staff was amazing. The breakfast was delicious.
- 5/5
Very friendly & helpful staff.
- 5/5
Great friendly staff beautiful location. This time Expedia got my confirmation and they were ready for me when I arrived.
- 5/5
Fantastic stay. Recently remodeled and SO much nicer than our last stay here. Friendly and efficient service. Will definitely stay again when I’m the area.
- 5/5
Very quiet. Comfortable beds
- 5/5
Great and friendly staff. Very clean and quite. Great breakfast and lobby area with a bar.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable room, great staff, very helpful. Excellent stay.
- 4/5
easy acess to other things in the area
- 5/5
Nice clean friendly staff
- 5/5
definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, very quiet
- 5/5
It has a great breakfast option and is walkable to trails and restaurants. Very clean with an awesome staff. Will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
The air conditioning in the room was making a noise all night. It didn’t stop me from falling asleep but it was enough that he had me thinking about call down stairs about it.
- 3/5
Property was easy to get to and close to campus and the highway. But i was a little disappointed in the friendliness of the check in clerk she seemed confused on what was going on and didnt seem very approachable. Also, it didnt mention a parking fee when i made reservations so i was also disappointed in that as well.
- 3/5
The carpet had stains and was very grainy. Hated walking around without shoes. Had to pay for parking which I thought was weird (the reason they gave was so that it wouldn’t be stolen or broken into). That alone raised my eyebrow!
- 5/5
Nice place to stay.
- 2/5
I was told because I booked with expedia I could not ask for a bath in my room. i wanted one because my wife had just had hip surgery. Very disappointing!
- 2/5
Most disgusting was arriving late at night unable to check in except at front desk, and having to pay extra for parking spot a long way from entry door AND then being told I needed to go back out into the lot to place a parking tag on my car - I did not do it. Breakfast options ridiculously expensive…left without eating. I actually checked out Sat. and moved over to a Hilton property.
- 3/5
My bed was soaking wet when I arrived. After two hours it was still wet so i requested different linen. I was given the linen to put on the bed myself ! The ladies at the front desk had excellent service at all times
- 5/5
Very good location to the concert venue. Nice and friendly staff. Room was nice and clean.
- 5/5
Very nice firm beds, good value.
- 5/5
Great location and awesome staff.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and hospitable. Very convenient location and clean property but we would return to this hotel primarily because of the excellent staff!
- 5/5
Great facility. Clean rooms, great shower w actual hot water, AC was great, professional staff, pool and poolside were clean. Fitness center was weak(3/10)
- 4/5
Overall the stay was great! The bathroom was not the cleanest around the toilet!
