    It was my fault for not checking before booking but parking wasn't free and no daily housekeeping. Wifi was bad, keep resetting every couple hours, re-connecting was a pain where I have to forget the network and reconnect, which is annoying.

    It’s hard to say. The hotel was convenient and felt safe, which I appreciated. Beyond that, there wasn’t much that stood out positively about the stay. The staff member who checked us in was not helpful. He gave us poor directions to our room, did not believe us when we said the door was broken, and our room number was not even listed on the map. The map itself also needs to be much more legible. Overall, I would not stay here again. The customer service needs improvement. Paying $10 per day for parking should have been included, and the paid breakfast bar downstairs was disappointing. A basic continental breakfast should be included for guests.

    Nice hotel for the price. Close to the highway so you get the highway noise - they could have used more sound proofing but after 11pm the highway noise dies down. Comfortable bed, nice sofa and TV. Everything was clean except the tub, which should be replaced. The safety mat seems glued-in and was pretty old and dirty looking. Otherwise everything else was good.

    There was kind of an odd smell in the hallway and our shower didn’t drain so we had to turn it off when we shampooed let the water run down turn it back on the beds were insanely comfortable, and the air conditioner worked really well.

    I checked in around 10 PM and immediately noticed the room had not been properly cleaned—wrinkled sheets, hair on the pillows, and more hair in the bathroom. The toilet was dirty and the shower curtain was yellow. When I called the front desk, instead of sending housekeeping, they gave me sheets and expected me to change the bed myself. I had to remove and replace everything on my own. The next morning, I requested service again and was told, “we’ll see if we can,” which was not reassuring. After explaining the situation, they said someone would be sent. A night staff member also told me I would receive a one-night compensation due to the condition of the room. However, when I followed up on Sunday morning, I was told they could not honor it and that “the night guy always says that,” which felt very unprofessional. Room 3-335 As a manager at Las Vegas, I was especially disappointed by both the cleanliness and the lack of accountability. I expected much better service.

    the staff was pleasant and helpful. There was some glitch at check-in when the front desk mixed up the room card keys between my room and my friend's room, which was next to mine. After the card key was correctly programmed, I was locked inside my room because the door lock did not work. Front desk came up and could not open the door, so they had to call facility. Facility took a while to open the door to my room, but the lock still was not fixed. The front desk person quickly switched me to a suite across the hall so I could still stay close to my friend's room. All and all, there was some issues but the hotel staff quickly handled the matter and was quite helpful. Room was clean, air condition works well, bed was good, I would come back.

    The only issues i have with the facility is the noise, all night long doors would slam, people talking loud in the hallway all night, people on the above floor walking loudly all night long, the 11:00pm quiet down time is not enforced, my stay was 18 days, I mentioned these issues to staff members on different shifts, but nothing changed during my stay, hopefully these issues will be addressed for the future.

    Parking lot felt safe but, there was a guy walking around when we pulled in it was a little after midnight. Then we went to the car about an hour later and he was still walking around. The couch in the room was dirty including the pillows, stained and had multiple puncture areas like from a cat clawing. The shower was definately leaking near the back you could see the start of separation in the wall, breakdown.

    Really good value considering the location. The staff was incredibly friendly, the bed was super comfortable, and the room overall was perfectly clean. A bit surprising since pets are allowed to stay. I took my dog on many walks around the facilities and he quickly learned the front desk would give him endless treats.

    Bill the manager was very friendly and helpful. He is very well trained and educated in hotel management. I don’t know why I was given a handicapped room, but it was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Before I checked out I had breakfast in the lobby and the employee was very nice and accommodating. All together it was a good stay.

    Couldn’t turn ac down. TV was on when I got there and I couldn’t turn it off. Batteries? Has lights on motion sensors ,they lit up anytime anytime anyone went to the bathroom…disturbing.Especilly to those sleeping.Also while taking a shower the light went off and I was in the pitch black in the shower…that’s crazy!!!

    The hotel is ok. Inside looks nice . I didn’t like popcorn ceiling. In front there was a warning sign about possibility to get cancer from popcorn ceiling. Well… why they didn’t remove it? In a rooms no microwave, nothing like that. But they have one in lobby.Swimming pool isn’t heated, was a bit small and dirty. We paid like for 4 star hotel.     Super patient and helpful staff and front desk. Pet friendly! There is a 75 dollar free for each pet. I stayed in a deluxe room with the king bed. Super clean bathroom and room overall. Ac kept the room cool and I loved the big sofa that was in the room!! I also loved that Netflix was built into the tv, all I had to do was log into my account. Overall a great stay and super easy drive to the Huntington dog beach which was why I booked here initially.

    The service did not improve from there: • Unprofessional Staff: When I called to request a late check-out, the front desk was incredibly rude and dismissed the request immediately. • Subpar Rooms: The rooms are very small and lacked basic amenities like a microwave. • Cleanliness Issues: The mattress on the pull-out couch was visibly dirty, which is completely unacceptable. • Check-out Issues: To top it off, when I checked out, I was told I couldn't have a receipt for my stay. Between the hidden fees, the lack of cleanliness, and the poor attitude of the staff, this stay was not worth the money. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere."

    This property advertised hot breakfast, alcohol and wine and a pool. The breakfast was not available. They have no cook and haven’t had one for a while. They offered muffins and cereal. No alcohol because the new owners haven’t purchased a liquor license. The pool was dirty and never cleaned while we were there. The shower ceiling had mildew. Beds were hard as a rock. I would never stay here again and the room was not cheap. Definitely false advertising on their website

    Didn’t get to use the amenities. The hotel room with 2 queen beds had good size. However, the bathroom had drainage issues on first use so we had to ask for help. The beds were ok & clean but the beds’ foundations need to be updated as the fabrics showed torn.

    I only stayed 2 days as my brother was in the hospital. The TV in the main bedroom was not working and I had to cut the AC off as it was making a loud noise. Who ever cleaned the room left the TV on and it clearly said no signal. The AC was off when I checked in so housekeeping probably heard the noise and cut it off instead of reporting and I did not get back to the room until after midnight I was too tired to call and deal with staff !

    Review: 1) pro: enough parking lots for cars, but $10/ per night for parking fee. 2) con: noises - people talk and laugh from other rooms, we can hear clearly. People on the top of us walked back and forth not only days but also nights - that interrupted our sleep. 3) Customer Services need to be improved with better attitude. 4) The front desk person was busy and did not inform us to call for cleaning when we checked in. We ended up having 1 cleaning for a 9 night stay. I will not come back to this hotel.

    The room was surprisingly quiet and conveniently located but dirty and in need of repair or updating. The sheets were stained in different areas and on all layers of the bedding. The mattress squeaked at every movement. One of the doors of the wardrobe was really difficult to open and the sliding doors took a lot of effort to slide. The pillows and sofa were comfortable.

    I was unable to check in because I am only 20 years old. While this information was stated and I acknowledge that it was my responsibility to notice it beforehand, the situation was still extremely upsetting. After a 13-hour travel day and arriving late at night, being told I could not stay was distressing and disappointing. When I asked the front desk attendant what my options were, specifically about a refund or recommendations for where to stay for the night, I was told that they could not help me, pretty much told me “not my problem”. This response felt dismissive and left me, exhausted, to find an affordable place to stay on my own. I was genuinely disappointed by how rude, unhelpful, and lacking in basic empathy the staff’s response was.

    Nice location , but make sure check your receipt before you leaving the hotel . They charged me $35 for breakfast which I did not purchase, so when the bill printed out the total amount was different. Front desk was not nice at check out either .     The light fixture in the room entry would not go off. It stayed on ALL NIGHT LONG!!! I could not call the front desk because hubby had fallen asleep and didn’t want to disturb him after the horrific drive through heavy rain and traffic. PLUS we had to leave our well trained dog at our daughter’s since you now charge $75 per night per dog with the room for us to stay was $104!!! Doesn’t make sense.

    One room was ok, except one smelled like cat urine. No others were available that would work for accessibility, as the bed was elevated to a height that simply wouldn't be useable for someone who can't lift their legs above their waist to get in. Location was great, staff was nice, though they don't come and clean the room unless you are staying over a week, though fresh towels were available at the front desk. They were doing construction throughout the trip with the crews leaving debris around the hallways. Phones were non functional and there were no USB-C charge ports anywhere.

    Beware of this horrible hotel. Thanksgiving week they had one person handling check in and lobby and no maintenance at all. My first night after traveling 16 hours was the TV didn't work and outlets didn't work. The lobby sent a man that only emptied trash to try and figure out the satellite. Then he left said he would be back lied to me and left me at 830 at night waiting for him after driving 16 hours. But it gets better the second night they at 7 o'clock at night were using a commercial carpet cleaner in front of our doors! The second night they were doing construction inside by our doors. The 3rd night construction was sawing into drywall and pounding nails, the 4th night they had a crane working on the roof over our rooms! What management schedules 1 person at a lobby?! What management schedules interior renovation on a holiday week?! I've stayed many times at the Sonesta ES nxt door. NEVER once had any issues. This was a nightmare but prepaid means i was stuck. NEVER AGAIN!!! I should have the $1,000 refunded but i won't expect ANYTHING by the management!! Go next door...DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

    It was very nice and quiet. We were very tired when we got to the hotel. Check in was very nice the the staff was very sweet. The only thing that makes me give it one less star is that we had a bit of a walk to our room. No one’s fault and it is what it is. But when we got to our room, the deadbolt lock was engaged and the door was open. I carefully called out to see if someone was in the room and it was clear. So I thought I’d just use my card to release the deadbolt and we would go in. But it wouldn’t work. So we had to walk all the way back to the desk and being very tired it was not pleasant. The staff were apologetic and quickly gave us another room. They said it happens when maintenance goes in to fix something and forget to disengage the deadbolt. That leads me to believe it happens often which is not good. We then had to walk again to another room.

    Overall experience at this property was very good. Staff were friendly and the property was clean.It was nice to have a fridge in the room but I wish they also had a microwave to reheat food, there is definitely enough space for one on the coffee bar. The only big problem was at the coffee shop in the lobby. I waited almost 10 minutes for the person working there to come out of the back and take my order. It would have been longer if the person at the front desk didn’t finally go into the back to get him because it had been so long. When he finally came out, he stopped by the door, before coming to the counter, to continue texting with whomever he was talking to. I found that very rude because it had already been so long, and it was very clear that that was what he had been doing for so long in the back.

    The property was a good place to stay and relatively quiet. The shower/bath was difficult to use and we could only pull the shower plug up halfway so there was never a good flow from the shower. The bath plug would not hold water in the tub. Other than those two items the room (102) was great, clean and very convenient to parking and pool.

    I always stay at Sonesta Select hotel when visiting Orange County Little Saigon because it is clean, quiet, easy access onto freeway and streets. Price is reasonable with Expedia app. I highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

    My stay here was excellent! The location felt very safe and quiet, with easy access to shopping and great dining options nearby. Transportation and parking were convenient, which made getting around stress-free. I especially appreciated how walkable the area was.     A great overall stay but the hotel chargers you an extra $45 for early check in $25 for a later check out and $10 for parking. So this “affordable” stay wasn’t really affordable. Staff was kind and room was clean and nice.

    Our room was quite nice as is the building. But there aren’t a lot of amenities. For the size of hotel, there’s not a lot of staff, and the fitness center is small, cramped, and poorly ventilated. Nevertheless, if the location meets your needs, it’s a pretty nice room at a pretty affordable price.

    The property was easy to find. The staff could smile more and be a little bit friendlier. The grounds and the room appear to be clean. The corridors are a maze and the signs very misleading to say the least. We went back and forth trying to locate our room, which was tucked away at the very end of a long corridor, with no sign pointing that way at the intersecting corridors. There was even an arrow pointing nowhere. The room is passable. I like the fact that it has an area outside the bathroom where you can get dressed without having to be in the bathroom. I liked that they have the usual amenities of an iron, ironing board, ref and coffeemaker. They provided shampoo, conditioner, and bodywash in the shower, and handsoap and lotion at the sink. They were not stingy with sockets, which is nice. I don't like that parking is paid and that they put a hold on a large amount for deposit, almost double of our hotel stay.

    Carpet needed shampooing, chairs had holes/rips & was filthy. I’ve never stayed in a hotel where I had to pay & schedule an application to have it cleaned! Charging $10/per day to park your auto is ridiculous, especially when you are NOT informed of this when booking or AFTER, a charge appears on you credit card with NO explanation. I had to talk to 3 different people before I was told it was for parking.

    The property is ok to spend a night or two, no more. It has no conveniences, as a restaurant on premises. Also, service is not good. Staff at the front desk are not to friendly, or helpful. You also need to have better room cleaning services. We had to request a few times for them to come and clean the room. Also, you have to notify them 24 hours in advance. Even with advance notification, they failed to clean. We had to complaint, especially that we were staying there a whole week.

    I had a really tough travel day and didn’t get there till after midnight. They’d already checked me in and made the process as seamless as possible so I could go straight to bed. The room was clean, cool, and the bed was comfortable. Perfect for the couple days I stayed.

    They overbooked the hotel so the room we were supposed to get wasn’t available and we had to take a smaller room. We arrived later in the day so there wasn’t really any other option. Why offer a room if you don’t have it? It shouldn’t be very hard to coordinate what rooms are or aren’t available. Overall pretty dirty everywhere besides the lobby.

    Efren was so welcoming and hospitable. Made us feel right at home. Our room overlooking the pool on the 3rd floor breathtaking. It was a suite. We were both celebrating our birthdays and 13 years anniversary and Efren made our vacatining that much more memorable. We did not even want to leave our very Luxe Suite.We are definitely coming back next year. 5 Stars, Top Notch.

    The TV was not working but they did repair it after 2 days. My son had bug bites from the bed. The fridge was not cold enough that our food spoiled. Our vehicle was scratched. Other than that the property was decent and the area was close to restaurants and stores.

    Didn’t like the room I selected. I selected a king size with a folding bed but the folding bed was not comfortable for the children. The room was too cluttered with furniture and didn’t work well with the folding bed/couch. Bathroom sink was a little small for me, had to use coffee area to finish getting ready. The cleanliness was good. Amenities were good but no complementary breakfast available. We had to pay for parking which wasn’t convenient

    It’s a very outdated hotel, carpets are horribly dirty throughout the hotel and in the room, It’s very dark and the the lighting is very dimmed.The popcorn ceiling looks very dirty. More deep cleaning is probably necessary in the rooms. Bathrooms are not the cleanest. I guess that’s were the cheap price comes in. You get what you pay.

    My stay was great. I would just appreciate a room cleaning at least every 3 days and not just once a week. My refrigerator was not working at first , but was promptly replaced. I would suggest to put a microwave in every room. I bought one for my room #230.

    Well first tye room i was given entire carpets was wet mushy ,dog smell very STRONG then iron didnt work . So i called front desk and was given another room same floor . But new room felt hunted we didnt sleep we would turn lights off and felt the presence of someone sitting in the couch then walking around, oh by tge way sheet had a lot of stains . Front desk were very nice ppl its just the place overall . Honestly im considering to look for another hotel in the area to stay. Thank you

    We really enjoyed the beautifully kept grounds and the view of the pool from our room. We had a suite and thought the layout was good. We had to lower the star rating due to lack of cleanliness and maintenance of our room and the halls. It was very apparent that most surface areas, including the toilet and shower, were not cleaned at all prior to our arrival. Possibly mold growing in the bathroom likely due to the fan not working; also, our room smelled like mildew. You can see in the hallway where dust had settled on the ceiling where the air vent is. There was more than this, but you get the idea. This hotel can be amazing with a more stringent cleaning plan and some good old TLC.
