Exceptional

Free breakfast was horrendous and not many options. Our room had a sour moldy smell and bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. I complained to the front desk rep and I was told they did not have maids on duty but they would spray something in the room. Whatever it was made smell somewhat tolerable. One night stay but never again.

Old and outdated

Internet was very, very poor. We were traveling with our grandkids, 11 and 7, and they could not bring up their devices. Bad, bad, bad.

Different types of stains on bedspread and sheets. Decided not to stay and went to competitor rather than us changing the bed with clean bedding that was offered by desk personnel since housekeeping were gone for day.

Location So called policies. I rented 3 rooms for 6 days through booking.com. I selected with pets when selecting a room so my rate increased. I get to the hotel and 3 separate times staff asked for my credit card for the dog. Saying their system didn’t save it on the initial checking. 2nd time was 3rd party did not information about the dog. 3rd time Was the system did not save card info. All the mean while deactivating the keycard for the room every time. I paid of $2,000.00 for 3 room that were not up to par. Stained tub with putty from a repair Knick’s in the counters and furniture. Towels and sheets had stains. I expect this from a super8 or a motel 6 . Definitely would not recommend.

Had to call desk to report lots of noise at 1:30 in morning. Breakfast was typical of Comfort Suites but more fresh fruits and skim milk would be nice.

We stayed in room 104. The odor in room when we first entered took some getting used to. My husband said “it smells like dirty feet”. The bathroom could have been cleaner.

The hotel was clean and well maintained and the staff was pleasant, had no issues. No problems.

The breakfast was just satisfactory. Could offer more variety and healthy choices. The third floor elevator button needs repaired and the entire place could use an update. The toilet is too.low and need higher height.. I also asked a question about discharge procedure and was not ready to check out and she locked us out of our room. This occurred arround 0900.

The beds were comfortable. Icky mold in areas where there is caulking [around the tub, for instance] made the bathroom feel dirty, when in fact, it might have been perfectly clean/sanitary. I would definitely stay here again because even though it was far from a 5 star hotel, I thought this hotel was a good value. I like safe, clean, and comfortable. This Comfort Inn [mostly] checked those boxes for me.

The rooms were clean, but when my family went to the included breakfast, a large group of men cleared out all the food, and the staff refused to put out more, despite there being over an hour of breakfast left. The breakfast is included in the cost of the room, but my kids, husband, and I didn’t get to eat because of this.

Old, run down hotel. The microwave, and coffee maker were probably older than me. Not to mention the coffee maker is in the bathroom? Like what? The tv only has satellite and you have to sit and watch the guide very slowly if you want to see what’s on. I guess you get what you pay for, next time I’ll spend the extra. I personally won’t be back.

Room was spacious although we had to change 3 rooms to get one that was quiet not adjourning with another room away from highway. Sleep was excellent; comfy beds and bedding. Lots of restaurants in the area. Breakfast was a little disappointing as sausages were pink inside and eggs were in cubes coffee aweful.

The shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while - pink mold around the drain, the edges of the tub, and on the top of the soap shelf. The toilet could use some bleach too.

Wow. This property needs a DM to walk through it. Showers with no body soap. Blood stains on shower curtains. Mold in the shower. And broken door hardware. Please take a look. The location is idea but poorly maintained. The folks at the front desk were ok but seamed aware of the issues.

Comfort Inn hotels have the most comfortable pillows and beds of all chains, making their name very appropriate! I love this location too. If you get a room on the back side of the hotel (not facing Ballenger Creek), it's quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. Friendly staff and good breakfast, too.

We check in after 3PM Friday to a muddy lobby floor which stay that way till Saturday afternoon. our vroom must have been breached at some point at the way light coming in all around the door, the safety latch had been ripped off and replaced but did not fit or function. The floor where the tub met the floor was stained or dirty. There was no tub stopper to allow for a bath to help with the skin irritation. The static in the bed covers and sheet were full of static or the sanitation chemicals were so strong they irritated my skin. We were in room 117 and the last room down from us on the left across the hall had two Rottweilers that constantly were barking at ever sound they heard and there we no owners around. You could walk out side and look into the room where these dogs were up in the window barking at people walking by outside. The people above us starting walking around the floor when they returned at 8Pm and it sounded like they were 500 lbs walking on their heals. When I called the desk to complain when the noise did not let up at 1120pm it only got louder. I called again and while they acted sympathetic they also acted like there was nothing could be done. I was awakened again by the hard walkers at 3AM and 530 AM. At 3AM I went out to the front desk again and all he could do was apologize and suggest a room change for tomorrow. Sunday at 530 AM the Rottweilers started barking that lasted 16 minutes. I was never informed of the dog walk area. Not Happy at all!

Had a slight issue at check in, but the front desk promptly fixed and upgraded our room. We'll definitely be back.

Room was very clean and comfortable, the location is perfect for me, the exercise equitment was high quality and functioning properly, the breakfast good, 24 hour coffee and infused water and Sam at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. I always stay there when I come to visit family and will continue to do so. Also the price is very reasonable.

The staff were fantastic. The beds and bedding were comfortable. The price was great and location perfect. Unfortunately the heating units whined. We were moved to a new unit and it also had the same issue. The refrigerator also whined and rumbled when it kicked on. Someone had set the alarm clock for 4 am and it went off as well. I unplugged it. Not a good choice for someone who can’t sleep through these noises.

This place is horrible. Apparently the toilet was already clogged before I even checked into the room so once I used it, it only worsened the problem. Had to go to the front desk and get a plunger. I couldn’t get the clog to free so I went back down. The nice young lady at the front desk said they were sold out for the night and couldn’t switch me to a different room but then she said they had a few on hold in case of emergencies. She tried to switch it to one of these on hold rooms and when she did, the manager called and ripped her a new one over the phone which I could clearly hear. He said not to switch me and to instead call the maintenance guy. I waited for about a half hour before he came up and he couldn’t break it free either. After being checked into the hotel for almost 4 hours, they finally switched my room. The manager was more worried about losing his money than taking care of his customers. The bed sucked, the shower had mold around the top and they obviously don’t clean very well if they left a toilet clogged before they left it. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere decent.

The stay was nice, staff was friendly and accommodating and I slept well. But the property itself has seen better days. Lots of stains on the walls, wallpaper peeling, the room was clean, but it had a lot of stains and cobwebs.

Price was ok for a 1 night stay but the pool was closed for “ongoing maintenance”, no canteen and the vending machine was “out of order” as was the printer at the “business center”. May be time for a property renovation.

Soda machine permanently "Out of order" Walking distance to Texas Roadhouse was a HUGE Plus. Friendly check in staff, but not so friendly late night or early morning staff.

Had two dogs at dog friendly hotel but the smell was musty. Air conditioner did not cool the room properly. Caulk in bathroom brown. Carpet torn up and stained badly.

Room smelled very musty moldy. Lots of pets which was fine but not controlled well. Lots of barking dogs. People in the room above us sounded like they were jumping off the beds and running laps around their room stomping until 1 am. Called the desk but continued and then called again then finally stopped. Between the musty room, barking dogs and banging half the night got almost no sleep.

It's an excellent budget hotel. Room was clean and updated. Hotel common areas were fine. The breakfast was also pretty good - they served scrambled eggs and sausage patties along with all the usual stuff. And the price was right and the only charged $10 extra for my dog.

The hotel was not the newest but it had upgrades and was very very clean and well maintained. The free breakfast was minimal but for the price of the hotel could fill you up. It was very clean and kept filled.

I haven't had this good of a stay at a hotel in a while. When I checked in, the person that helped me check in carried my bags to my room for me because I was on crutches and offered to switch my room to a handicapped room which I didn't know was even possible. Even the person at the desk the following morning was extremely helpful also. I most definitely be back!

Traveling to NC from NE OH. Arrived late in the evening. Toilet was not working in room. No plunger in hotel. Traveling with 2 kids. Night staff offered another room at midnight and finally gave us the key to use the room next door for the bathroom. Hotel needs upgrade. Plumbing is horrible. No real breakfast as advertised and even when I required at check in I was told there was. Cold cereal and bagels was all that was offered. Not the hot breakfast as we were led to believe. Room was hot upon arrival we had to turn on the air and to keep it comfortable and ran the A/C all night. Could have been cleaner. Overall it was not a pleasant stay. All the hotels in that area are crap.

Check in was a breeze, the hotel clerk remembered me from a previous visit. the room was facing the road, however there was no road noise. the room was clean, the heater worked well (it was very cold outside 18 degrees, and it snowed about 3-4- inches.) very happy stay.

Very comfortable and clean. Have a dog and they only charged $10 ....very reasonable. The young lady at the front desk, Samantha, was very polite and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay and customer service was top notch. We traveled with our dog (which we were grateful to have a pet friendly option at the hotel) and the room we were given was great for easy outside access. The only downside was the wifi was not strong enough in our room to connect our pet camera so we could have eyes on our pet when we stepped out. I did not request a room change or ask if a booster was available since we were only going to be out for a few hours.

Rooms need some updating

My room was for the most the part, was nice and prepared when I arrived. No issues for my stay that really bothered me for real. My only real complaint was that for some reason my card key kept losing access to unlock my door. On my second night a concierge with a fantastic warm and radiant smile just so happened to have the magic touch to resolve the issue! All in all, I would highly recommend this establishment to travelers not looking to brake the bank, but enjoy a nice Cozy rest on the adventure!

The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for no reason for two nights in a row. I had trouble getting back to sleep. There wqs mold on the shower tile.

That being said, for those of you who consider dining options to be important, please search this area on google maps and see all the options on the streets around it. The variety of restaurants just across the street are genuinely staggering. If I'm ever in Frederick again for whatever reason, I will be back for sure.

Everything was good except for the breakfast. They could use a little help in this area.

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This property met my expectations at a very reasonable price. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was ok. No hot dishes like eggs or bacon and sausage but did have a microwavable egg sandwich. Unfortunately, at the time of our visit, construction of another building took some parking spots so parking was a challenge when we arrived after midnight. Overall I would recommend to others and stay here again on my next visit.

It was a clean quiet bed after a long day of interstate travel.

The property was reasonably clean, it was convenient to shops & restaurants, and it was within an easy drive to downtown Frederick. The breakfast was very basic. Our room was a little noisy, due to a loud tv in the adjoining room.

Bath tub dirty.

Front desk person was friendly and personal.

It was easy access right off the highway

The property and staff were great, but bathroom was not clean.

You all never came to make our room, we only stayed two nights, the first night we got there late (after 11pm) and the second night we left by 5AM but our bed was not made at all.
