On street parking was extremely accessible and the caretakers did a fantastic job of making sure we had a spot right out front. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and other tractions in a less than 5-minute walk.

Breakfast -wonderfully presented by them, and happily eaten by us. They sat with us for breakfast, it really was like having breakfast with actual people. The inside structure, and their choices for ambience made this a great step into another time. Napes. Nothing. Oh wait. We heard one very polite yip at one point at a very decent hour. Probably one of their dogs that was desperate to make my acquaintance. :-)

The facility is in a great location, within walking distance of several nearby restaurants. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owners were very pleasant and gave us the option to move to a room with a king-sized bed. The home-cooked breakfast was delicious (particularly compared to those served by hotel chains that we stayed at during this trip).

I had a one night stay and found this B&B to be exactly what we needed. The room was very comfortable, the host welcomed us when we arrived but didn't overwhelm us with too much attention, and the location was perfect. We left very early so couldn't have breakfast but woke up to a bag of fruit and snacks anyway. And, finally, we left something in the room and didn't even realize it, and they were really proactive and helpful in contacting us and getting us the item.

Hollerstown Hill takes your stay at a Victorian B&B to the next level. The proprietors are super-friendly, the room was spacious and well-appointed, and our en suite bathroom was massive. The decor in our room included an actual vintage dress and shoes on a vintage seamstress's form, a claw foot tub, and... wait for it... a pull-chain toilet! Breakfast was delicious and healthy and our hostess even packed us some coffee cake to-go.

we stayed in the Cannon Hill room. The sink was very tiny in a corner in the bathroom which wouldn’t of been a big issue but there was a piece of glass directly above it to set your things on but it came out as far as the sink did with only about 8-10” between so it was basically impossible to wash your face in the sink without your head hitting the glass and getting water on the floor at the same time. The breakfast was not at all what i expected and we stayed at many BB’s in the past. Some type of egg casserole with frozen vegetables on top of the eggs. The casserole must of been sitting a while and partially cold. The only other items they had was a muffin and smoothie. It was more like a continental breakfast served at a hotel. just not what I expected with a fairly pricey room over which was over $200 per night.

Phil and Betty are wonderful hosts. They have a game parlor with a pool table and chess set. We used both. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Lots of attention to detail. Phil is very entertaining and Betty is a sweet heart. They know the area well and give great suggestions on thing to see and do. It’s apparent that they love their home and have a lifetime of collecting dolls and salt and pepper shakers on display. It was a treat to spend time with this couple. We hope to return again for a visit.

If you read my reviews at all you will know that we go to many B&Bs around the world so we know what to expect from a good B&B. This was not up to my standards. There were barking house dogs and some noise upstairs (both early) and that can be overlooked but the dust rolling on the floor (molding and floor was not vacuumed in quite awhile) was a bit more than I ore my sinuses could take. There were way too many tchotchkes and dolls that were collecting dust everywhere and gave me a suffocating feeling like I was staying at a hoarders home. Fung shui was badly needed here. I soon began to suffer from itching eyes and a stuffy nose in the musty unvacummed room. Downstairs there were dolls stuffed absolutely everywhere, it was kind of creepy, and again, way too much dust collecting on dolls and other items. There was no bottled water or hand cream in the room, just tiny paper cups by the sink. I later was offered bottled water but it was not clearly shown where it was until later. No cookies or fresh fruit were offered when we arrived or in the evening, only cheap candies in bowls. In the room, the noisy window AC blows right at the sleeper (me) in bed. Since the house is old with few outlet plugs they did have electric outlet extenders available. A bedside clock stood on the one bedside table that was so bright I had to turn it away from me as I slept. But the bed was good and firm. Breakfast was a fruit parfait (vanilla yogurt) and a chocolate waffle with bacon. I didn’t want

Owners were extremely nice. Breakfast was mediocre. Location and neighborhood were nice and walking distance to downtown. Parking was on the street. Cleaning of the room was poorly done. We selected the property because it didn't except pets and young children but the owners had two dogs that were frequent barkers in the morning and we chose to the property to avoid that.

It was my first time at a bed and breakfast. The location was perfect and the breakfast was excellent. There was access to bottled water and cookies. The room was very nice and had air conditioning controllable for the room. The owners were very nice. They also suggested places to see based on some of my interests.
