Just spent one night and slept well.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was small, there was no elevator the steps were a little dirty and the parking lot had a number of pot holes. My first impression was that this motel was run down. I was pleasantly surprised by the interior.

Fine hotel. A little old and worn but clean and fully functional for all our needs. Bed was really great and water pressure was superb too.

Breakfast was delicious and rooms were more modern than expected! Staff were wonderful.

Honestly, we did have a problem with the shower in the room. I called the front desk, the response was immediate, the gentleman that came to the room was so friendly, fun and earnestly wanted to please us as guests. He was so helpful and accommodating, it was very impressive. The person who checked us in earlier was very kind, he also went out of his way to help me without my asking for help. So the two employees that we encountered were exemplary. I highly recommend this hotel.

For the price it was a great choice.

Window did not lock and had to change to another room. Window screen bent and falling out but window did lock in second room. Had to call desk for tv remote and drain in shower broken.

Also, I usually had been able to get a paper copy of my receipt but this time for some reason I couldn’t get one. The staff was kind, we had no problems checking in, and we had an okay night in the hotel. Breakfast was alright. The lobby looked renovated and nice. Our deadbolt didn’t work on the door, bathroom was very small, you had to stand in the bathtub in order to close the door. Doorhandle for the bathroom was very loose. Shower floor looked like it was covered in mold, covered up with a bath mat. The shower would squeal when it was on, getting louder and louder until you adjust the knobs every 30 seconds. Our pull out couch was covered in white stains, we ended up covering the couch with an extra sheet just so we could sit. Breakfast was okay, all of the juices were very watered down. The ice machine was broken, entire hotel smelled damp but after kicking on the AC in our room, it was better. Bed felt like it was older, not very comfy.

Check in was seamless. Everything was correct, room appeared clean and well maintained. When we returned from dinner and turned on the lights, very small little bugs appeared near the lights. We killed them and more appeared. I called the front desk, a young man came (Mitch) to check the problem. He identified them as sugar ants. He left to see what could be done. Returned to say we could move to another room very near the highway or to an upstairs room but there was no elevator. So at 10:30 pm we collected our belongings and moved to the 1st floor near the highway (room 157). Got very little sleep due to LOTS of road noise. We were scheduled for 2 nights so they gave us room 104 for the second night. When I went to pick up the keys I was told that 104 had already been rented so they gave us 137 instead. I checked the room for bugs and spent the night there. They said they were extending a 20% reduction in our bill. As far as I can tell, that has been done. I will know more when I get my credit card bill. Overall, I probably won't chose a Best Western room in the future. This was an unpleasant experience and one I will not knowingly allow to happen again.

Room smelt musty, not clean. The smallest bathroom I have ever seen. Literally a closet. For 172 dollars I expected more. I left before breakfast. Couldn’t wait to get out.

Front desk greets you with a smile and welcomes you in. The support staff is warm, courteous, and willing to help should you be in need. Their knowledge of the area allows them to guide you to wonderful parks, restaurants, downtown shopping, nightlife.

The front desk and cleaning staff were very helpful. The room was clean and roomy. However, the layout of the bathroom is odd (The sink is outside of the bathroom, and it is very tight inside of the bathroom.) Additionally, it will be more accommodating if they put a larger coffee table so that you can use it for two people.

The location. It was very close to my house which is what I needed at the time. It is also in walking distance to a shopping center with a grocery store. I also liked the snack machines and breakfast There were minor inconveniences like loud humming appliances.

be vary cautious when staying at this hotel. we booked a room with two double beds and after arriving to the room, as the blanket was pulled back we noticed an actual bedbug. this is a serious cleanliness issue for us so we went to the front desk to request either a refund or to be moved to another room since it was 2am and finding another place to stay was not possible at the time. the night shift clerk was extremely rude and kept telling my friend to be quiet and that she would not talk to her because my name was on the reservation but we were standing there together explaining our concerns. after an unpleasant interaction the clerk changed our room and let us examine the new room and the bedsheets to make sure there weren’t any bugs. I will say, the only main positive with this hotel was that we were slightly impressed with the free breakfast options. the food was actually decent and had many choices to choose from.

To start with, the staff were first rate. Always polite, kind, professional, and accommodating. Room was clean & fresh smelling. Only a couple stains on furniture were present. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and continuously stocked during the morning time offered. The only minor drawback was the heating-cooling unit in the room seemed responsive to personal control only part of the time; overall however, the air temperature in the room was comfortable.

The mattress was pretty uncomfortable unfortunately, it was a great size but without any sort of mattress topper or thick sheets the springs made my back sore each night. Also the shower would squeal when it was in use. I was also a little disappointed about the juice at breakfast being very watered down.

The blankets are very thin, I froze all night. The hvac system is very loud, kept me up most of the night. The bathroom had a bug in it and wasn’t super clean. The front desk told me there was a gym on the 2nd floor but walked the entire floor and no gym was found. Not the best

Nice hotel for a stay close to downtown. The staff are friendly and caring and the breakfast is above average.

We were only staying in for 1 night. I was told by 2 different staff members that my charge would be $55. When we checked out the next morning, they slapped a charge of 2 nights and $139. It is fraud and they lied to us. I put the blame on the General Manager Bhavesh Prakash for defrauding us who does not know what customer service all is about.

They told us that there was no microwave available but did not have the courtesy to let us know and waited for us to call them again. I demanded that we be moved to a different room. We were told all rooms were occupied which of course was not true. When I started to really sound upset, the front desk guy found a room immediately across our assigned room. He asked us if we used anything in the room. So, after checking in for 4 hours, he expected that we will not be using the beds or towels etc.? Had they been honest enough to tell us there was no microwave, then we would not have agreed to unpack our things in that room. This was a very bad experience. The management should ensure all rooms have a working fridge, microwave etc. They should not wait for customers to discover that something is missing in the room. This is not fair to paying customers. Never will I book again at this location!

The price was good for an overnight stay and the staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was a bonus. The location was out of the way. The bathroom was small for handicap accessibility and there was little space to move around. The decor needs upgrading.

He kept reaching over us and taking things off our table and personally using them. We eventually brought our food up to our room. He had no respect for personal space. Maybe the manager could use a lesson in the proper way to ask to use items that others may be using. He made us felt uncomfortable.

When we got there and checked in, they gave us a key to someone else’s room, which was uncomfortable when I unlock the door and there was somebody already in the room. Then the room they gave us. The bathroom did not have a vanity to it so it was hard to brush our teeth and put out stuff that we need for hygiene and impossible for my wife to do her make up.

The check in person - I want to say I wish it was smooth. Wanted to give me only one key for a two person check in, said their “Stock was low.” I ended up getting the second key but how is stock issues my problem. He also called my last name “very German” said it was a compliment, he needs to work on the small talk. Same person at check out this morning looking like he just rolled out of bed. Glad I’m not the manager, he would have been told to go home shower and wake up, he’s the face of the property.

We booked a room for 3 people, a king with a pullout sofa for our son, but no bedding was provided in the room for the sofa bed. When I called the front desk, I was told I had to walk down to the front desk to get it myself. The staff, though polite, initially gave me only a wadded-up blanket. When I asked for sheets, she went back and retrieved a wad of sheets; back in the room, I realized it was the wrong size for the sofa bed and lacked a top sheet. Exhausted, I chose not to return to the desk. The sofa bed mattress was old, yellowed and uncomfortable. The king bed was comfortable, the only nice part of the room. The bathroom faucet wouldn’t switch to the showerhead, streaming only from the faucet despite pulling the shower pin. My husband couldn’t fix it, and we reported it the next day. I requested a partial refund for the inability to shower, but was told prepayment made this impossible. Later, the staff offered a room change, but as we were settled, moving for showers was impractical. I appreciated the attempt to address the concern.

There was a stench in the hallway that smelled like cat pee, which I know to be the padding underneath the carpeting. The room was not very clean.

Room was okay, the bathroom was awful there was mold all over the tub and the used some sort of mat to cover it up but the mold it growing outside of the mat now and the shower curtain and linens had rips/holes in them. Other than those issues the hotel was quiet and conveniently located next to shops and restaurants.

The room given to us had a leak in the bathroom, so we had to change to a different room. The desk clerk was very nice and helpful, but she had reported that issue to housekeeping 2 days ago. The rooms could use a good thorough cleaning.

Bed was too high off the ground. At 63 and only 5 feet tall, I had to push the foot stool around the room to get into bed. Nothing in or around the tub to hold on to for getting in and out of the shower. Cost was fair and front desk was nice. But there was no ice available until the middle of the night.

Air conditioner did not work in the room. They offered to move my room, but it was upstairs and a double bed, I requested the first floor and a king room. Oh, and there’s no elevator and my daughter is handicap. So yeah, it was not happy with this visit. And I think they knew that air conditioner wasn’t working because apparently it was the only room left which I find hard to believe.

Basic hotel that is a few minutes drive from downtown Frederick. The hotel could use a facelift, as it is a little dated, but has a large amount of rooms. The room was a bit dark with limited lighting — my only critique. The breakfast was fairly good with a number of options in the small dining room. It should be noted that this hotel doesn’t have an elevator to the second floor.

It was average at best. People in the front messed up reservations for a family member that we paid for in advance. She showed up and they told her they had no suxh reservation for her and caused her to have a severe panic attack considering she drove a long way and it was late in the evening.

The first room we were given had a very unpleasant odor. Additionally, our keycard malfunctioned six times over the course of just two days, which was quite inconvenient. The hot water dispenser also doesn't work unless there's water in the coffee machine, which means you can't get any hot water for tea or other needs—this seems like a design flaw, as the hot water dispenser should have its own dedicated supply. The lighting in Room 146 is also too dim, and the window appears to be broken. As mentioned earlier, the smell in the room was particularly bad and made the stay uncomfortable.

I was not able to sleep past 7am because they are replacing the roof and there was a lot of noise. I stayed in the second floor so they were literally above me. My shower also had a hole the size of my foot. Would not recommend it. My room was 227.

Ive stayed here several times, and its ok for what i pay for. Frequently, the microwave oven, or the TV has minor issues, or the heater/ac is a bit loud. The staff is nice and helpful.

The property is close to the area we are visiting, so it is very convenient. There is nothing fancy about it, but it is nicer than expected for $89 a night. Room is large with a king size bed, sofa, desk, refrigerator and microwave.

Truly excellent check in staff. Had a sort of odd reservation combination, they took care of it with great ease. Cleaning staff were very considerate, and did a fab job. Very nice location.

This property was old and run down. Outside access to rooms and for sure not worth the price. The online booking was misleading and if I hadn’t booked online and arrived so late in the day, I would have cancelled my booking.

Place was an actual dump hated every second left as soon as I got there and the staff was very useless.

Hotel needs a renovation.

Not a fan at all. My room smells, there is water damage on the ceiling that was repaired by masking tape, the bathtub is un usable, lights don't work, parking is terrible due to several people taking up 3 spots, and it just feels dirty and unsafe. Will never stay here again. Worst Best Western I have ever stayed at.

The property was well maintained and all of the staff was courteous and helpful.

Bathroom was very small - there is a spa tub in the room, but no way to close the drain, so it was useless. I felt like I was in a box while using the toilet. Room and facility were clean and breakfast was good.

Breakfast was great and plenty

Check in started with the staff making fun of previous guests for not knowing there aren't elevators. The room was weirdly placed. Small bathroom, leaky shower door. The sink was in the other room.

Clean and good place for the night. Friendly staff esp coming in late at night.

The room was OK, but the bathroom was way too small

The bed was extremely uncomfortable, neither myself or my husband could get comfortable. I eventually bailed to the couch in the middle of the night. The bathroom is very small and hard to move around in. Staff was friendly and the area around it is nice with good dining options.

I likely would not stay here again. It was priced accurately for this property but the facility is not kept up well. It was clean but worn out and therefore felt dirty and old. It was not walking distance to the historic area. I would suggest considering a bed and breakfast in town.
