Very accommodating personnel. Common areas rundown. One stairwell was boarded up with a danger notice from 2003. Other areas were not bad at all. Makes you wonder what problems could be hidden

The room was dated but clean, although it needed some minor work. The bed was comfortable. Front desk staff was incredibly nice. It looks like a lot of work was being done on other sections of the hotel but it didn't interfere with our stay at all. Breakfast was the typical free hotel breakfast, the eggs and sausage weren't bad. The location was good for where we needed to be. Over all, it was good for the price and we'd stay here again.

Especially for an older property, the extra attention shown to providing clean, comfortable rooms makes this a good value. Breakfast was adequate. They were fully booked and had assigned us to a 2nd floor room. They said the elevator wasn't working, was that a problem. I said yes because we're 79 and handicapped and need a trolley to transport our things. To their credit They found us a room on the first floor after rearranging some assignments. Toilet too low to get off easily.

The place was clean, and the staff at the reception were both amazing

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY STAYING AT THIS ‘HOTEL’. False Advertising ! The photos on Hotel.com are not current. This is motel style, exterior room entry. The first two rooms we were assigned smell like wet dog and stale cannabis, we accepted the third room because we were exhausted from driving. The walls (no pictures), curtains, upholstery, and carpet had unidentifiable stains. We slept in our clothes. The paint on the walls was peeling in the bedroom and bathroom. The sink faucet was broken, the toilet bowl was cracked and there was a slow water leak running into the grout, the tub was filthy and had cigarette burns and a hardened goop of something white stuck to it. We did not use the shower because the lighting above was halfway into the shower area and the heat lamp looked like it was from the 1980’s (stained and rusted). The microwave was yellow from age, the outlets and switches had years of buildup in their crevices; as did the blow dryer. The Kleenex dispenser was empty, I looked in the cabinet under the sink to find it had no bottom-just a blackness to the floor underneath. The iron stopped working halfway through use. The experience was horrible.

Great check-in experience. Disappointed about the room. Pretty insecure and draft a door, the outside sidewalk and parking lot are uneven and hazardous for anyone other than a six-year-old. The towels are a paper thin so ask for extras when you check in. It didn’t smell too bad but the microwave is so old. It has a knob to turn. My 13-year-old just looked at it. The cops do drive through the parking lot, so there is that but at certain lock my car. I don’t know about the breakfast because I didn’t want to have to fully dress to children and call them around the building in the cold to get there.

I stayed 4 days for business. Breakfast was cared by Beard Monkey next door, the guy really spend time to make sure every item is ready for you. Front desk staff and manager are also great, Mandy (manager) help me to resolve my cancellation issue due to FAA Flight Control "shutdown", got my refund from Expedia - two weeks follow up on her part. The best experience I had throughout my Expedia-ence for more than 20 years.

The front desk gentleman was very nice and the same went for the morning as well. Young lady was very nice. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would most definitely stay again.

When we checked in. No hangers in the closet, no hook on bathroom door, security latch on front door missing , tub wouldn’t drain and t.v. Kept glitching. I fixed drain and tv myself. Staff brought some hangers and fixed security latch. Room was pretty rough and outdated

Along with the having to wait in the lobby for me to get my room key “unlocked” another customer was wanting a refund due to their room not even having curtains over their windows. I will not be returning to this location for these reasons

The property has not been updated in a long time but the staff is friendly, helpful, and pleasant. The bed is very comfortable!. Lots of traffic noise if you are sensitive to that. I slept well. I cant afford much so it was great for my needs.

Had some plumbing issues with the room

Don’t stay here, this place needs to be gutted and redone from top to bottom. Everything is old and run down from the furniture to the building itself. If I hadn’t pre booked while on my super long roadtrip, I would have definitely left immediately. Roaches, old rug, old/broken furniture, dirty walls, curtains are older than me, lamps are broken/rusty or not working at all. Etc. The one and only good thing was the attendant when I arrived was friendly. I was so disgusted with the place that I didn’t even consider eating the “free” breakfast. When it was time to check out, there wasn't any staff to be found, even as I yelled out hello, hello? Stay away from this place unless you are used to staying at seedy motels.

It was a really big room, and clean. They staff were nice. Only issue I had was the fitness area was not up to par. None of the equipment worked. They need to get rid of it. Other than that my stay was great.

Claims there is a pool however there is one but it was closed up like it was winter. I door pool looked like a swamp - 2x2 holding up the frame work. You can tell it was a beautiful place at one time but it is dire need of attention

The staff provided excellent service, the room was nice and clean, and I had excellent parking right in front of my room. The downside of the hotel was that there were certain areas that had been closed down for repairs. It seemed that over half of the area of the hotel was being renovated.

The staff were very friendly BUT, only one room key worked. The furniture was shabby and stained. The double sink, only one was functional. No hot water in the morning. The rates were relatively cheap, which goes to prove you get what you pay for. The restaurant was o.k. with a sports bar atmosphere.

I was in the handicap room, the carpet needs to be shampooed and cleaned immediately. This the Property Manager’s fault. The Choice Hotel should make sure the carpet is done every 4 months. This is a turn off to most people. Hardwood plank floors is less maintenance.

I had to find another hotel room after the previous hotel had issues. I was tired and ready to turn in for the night. It was around 11pm. The young man. Alan, was quick to get me checked in, showed me where my room was on their map and gave me other information that i was too tired to care about. He was very pleasant, friendly and just great! The room was everything i needed. Check out was a breeze! I will definitely stay herecagain.

we had to walk to our room, and they had no outdoor lighting, there was construction going on and was hard to see where we had to go. There were some sketchy people so lighting would have been nice. While walking to the room looked like a homeless guy was in the construction area and followed us in the dark to our room, watching us from a seat. I literally slept with my tazer out in my clothes. The rooms way outdated for the price we paid, pictures online must be from 20 years ago when the rooms were new. Place needs a face lift for sure.

There were a few young people hanging outside one door down. Smoking something and drinking. Felt to us a little sketchy! The Main Lobby was nice , but from what we could tell the rest of the place was in shabby. Would definitely not recommend!

I was in a bind due to another hotel, and clarion inn was a blessing. Allen at the front desk was awesome and very helpful. Also, want to shout out the bartender, Jessie, at the bearded monkey, for suggesting this stay.

This property is an unsafe dump. Dirty floors. Ripped curtains, run down buildings. We did not stay after reviewing two rooms. I made the reservation online without seeing the property and they would only refund 1/3 of what I paid. Do not fall for the nice pictures online. Do not stay here.

The night staff’s Allan was fabulous then when I went to get breakfast I was told I could get danish a coffee but nothing was ready the morning staff was rude and unprepared and I had to pay 100 dollar deposit for what a rude morning staff’s and no breakfast to tell me I could try there new restaurant that jutst opened the night before never again and I have a lot of friends and family that travel through the area thanks Allan sorry you have great skills with such a crappy staff and hotel

The front desk staff that checked us in was very nice and knowledgeable about what he was doing as well as the area he was in. The room was clean and nice overall. 1 ice machine was broke but was told we could walk to another hotel and get ice if we wanted it and the bed, it was pretty hard and both me and my fiancée had sore backs after waking up. The power went out for about 2-3 hours but i understand there was only so much the desk staff could do because it was the whole strip of road we were on, but she was rude when we approached the desk to ask her about what had happened and inquiring about the restoration time. Overall..not horrible but not wonderful

Excellent staff, building literally falling down. Booked for the pool/hot tub but notified it's been closed for months but still advertised as available.

We also love this hotel because of the indoor/outdoor pools, large rooms, and comfortable beds. We highly recommend this hotel!

The website and even the sign out front claimed an indoor pool and spa. Unfortunately, those are unavailable due to renovations but that should be revealed before arrival. The breakfast was limited but still very good. The staff were all friendly, personable and service oriented. I would stay there again.

The pool and hot tub inop no restaurant or bar and had to run hot water for 30 minutes to get hot water for shower.

I found two roaches in my room. The smoke alarm malfunctioned and woke me in the middle of the night--twice. At 630 am there was no hot water. The staff was generally kind and helpful.

My car broke down while traveling, and needed to be repaired overnight. This place was close by, and bonus: had a pool! I was grateful it was there

The reason we picked it was for the whirlpool/jacuzzi. It wasn’t open only outdoor pool and the place was under construction throughout the place. There was no milk for cereal in the morning and no coffe

Upon arrival we were told that the indoor pool and hot tub were not working. Also, that there was no hot breakfast as advertised. It would only be a grab and go breakfast. I believe that this should be advertised on their website as you clearly aren't getting what you are paying for. The walls around the entire property were being held up by 2 by 4s. When we got into the room the furniture was all stained and dirty. The room had cockroaches in it. When we went to the front desk and told them about the cockroach infestation they did not question it one bit. There were people out partying at the pool at all hours of the night. Needless to say we did not stay here and would not recommend this place to anyone!

My stay at the Clarion Inn was a pleasant one, except there were no towels or wash clothes on the second day. Each trip to the front counter was met with excuses, as to why there were no towels. I had to shower and dry off with my clothing.

Well, the hotel said I could not check in early. Yet, the hotel was only partially full. I did not have a key card for my room. So, I had to ask someone from the front desk to let me in everytime I left and came back. They said the key card system was updating. Upon entry, the room had a stale smell, not pleasant(moldy). I used the air freshener from my car. It was a double room, but only one set of linens. The security blinds were very worn in certain areas. So if the lights were on, someone could definitely see in your room. However, I did have a very comfortable sleep. The beds were cozy. The front desk staff was also very pleasant and courteous.

We just checked out from this POS this morning. We were in town for my Daughter's graduation. The property had a smell soon as we entered the lobby. We were hesitant to stay but do to a time crunch we stayed. The keylocks didn't work. And we had to have guess services let us in. Which made us feel like we had no privacy. The rooms had the same smell as the front lobby. There was also a notice on the propertys wall...to not rent the upstairs due to it being unsafe. The whole hotel needs to be torn down. The rooms also had roaches...and the mattress covers had stains. Do not stay at this establishment. It wasn't worth the cost.

I ended up eating the money I spent on this place (because I booked through Expedia) and stayed at another HOTEL. First off this property is listed as a hotel it is not, it is a motel. Before booking I made a point to read through reviews, I have no idea how this hotel has so many good reviews. First off the hotel looks closed down when walking up. The check in staff was super nice and friendly. The first sign I was probably not in a safe spot is the sign they have hanging up that says no one with in a 50 mile radius is allowed to stay at their hotel. The second sign was signing an additional document saying that I would not not bring drugs, openly drink alcohol, keep the noise down and some other weird random stuff. As I drove around to my room I seen a couple of cars in the parking lot that looked like they were being lived out of and people hanging out in them. As I walked to my room which I felt unsafe, the building was literally falling apart, painted plywood up as a wall, unfinished areas. As I entered my room it smelled awful. The lights flickered, covers to plugs in were falling off, nasty brown stuff running down the wall. When I pulled the blankets back and the top sheet to check, you could tell the bottom sheet at not been washed as there was brown stuff on it like something had spilled. The curtains were tattered and piece of toilet paper was being used to cover the peep hole in the door. Noisy dog barking in the next room. Pictures on website are deceiving.

The physical plant/building were clean and neat. Room ameneties are on par with similar properties. Lack of a real restaurant is a big negative. The limited menu (heated in a microwave) is a real negative!

The young woman at check out was a sweetheart. The place is kind of run down but we brought our cats and they let pets stay. The beds were actually comfortable. We got good rest.

Friendly night staff. No full breakfast and no warning. Hot tub also cold, no warning it was being cleaned. Room smelled in pleasant. Indoor pool was open to outside so room was cold but water was warm. Could use a good scrub and new paint. Would not stay again.

Had a long travel day and booked this hotel because of the restaurant and bar. Unfortunately both bar and restaurant were not open. Front desk person assisted our group in finding something that met our needs. Very friendly and helpful.

It’s has a microwave refrigerator. The shower was great. Very good pressure and hot.

The room was clean. Gaining access to internet and getting Tv to function required 2 calls to front desk. The hall/stairwell was heavily smelling of "weed" and I am asthmatic.

The manager Racheal was very rude, not treated as a customer. Requested, a smoking room then find out its non smoking. Accused of damaging the mattress with fecal matter and urine, when i have a lower back problem in need of surgery and lost my balance spilling a whole cup of coffee on the bed the day before checkout.

I saw a roach in the room, the smell band and the pillow are sucks.

I checked in in the evening. I was very tiered. I went to take a shower and right before getting in the shower realized that I have no towels at all, not even a wash cloth. Outside my room was very loud of people drinking and yelling until after 10:30. The breakfast was a bottle juice and some packaged granola bars. The WIFI was so slow that I could not even send a few pictures via text.

For me, I booked this stay online. The pictures make the property look beautiful, but it is a much older hotel. Many persons live here on a regular basis - day to day living. It's not like a normal hotel.

Our stay was just overnight. Its pet friendly and that was great. It was as clean as they could get. The hotel really needs a renovation. The staff was pleasant and to my surprise, they were sold out. Overall not a bad place to stay.
