It’s ok but not really was great until some forgot about a hot dog in the microwave and the smoke alarm went off. The stall kicked us out the first of our 3 day trip and fire alarm went off for hours said the fire dept shut off. Could have been a great trip but the staff ruined it.

Meh! Not a great spot but ok for the price if you need a cheap hotel.

Honestly, this place wasnt as crappy as I was expecting from the reviews. That being said, the bed is a rock, the fridge in our room was crazy loud so we had to unplug it, and the equipment in the "gym" didnt work, and one of the exterior doors wouldnt open with the key, and our tub didnt drain. No pee smell in the stairwell tho, or homelss people that we saw

Clean room but the room I was in the door looks like someone tried to break into it. The AC unit needed to be clean inside and out the return was broken. The first person I met was amazing answered all my questions and we had a good laugh she worked around the 3pm time… The Second Lady had an attitude problem and no customer service skills there wasn’t a hello it was what do you want worked after the nice lady. Breakfast was minimal muffins and oatmeal. Fremont was there after 6 and going through someone car made me feel uncomfortable.

The property looks nothing like the photos on Expedia, everything felt outdated, dirty, and had a strong unpleasant smell. The room furniture was worn out and torn, and the bathroom looked poorly maintained. Our first room had a window that wouldn’t close and thin shades that let in too much light, making it hard to sleep. We requested a room change but were asked to “adjust” multiple times. Eventually got another room, which was only slightly better. No breakfast, just coffee. Only positives: location. Overall, very dissatisfied. Expedia should review this listing. Would not recommend.

I don't know where to start. I probably knew something was wrong from the start because they have a building A and b. Building a seems to be clean. They put me in building b. First off anyone can walk in the building. The door doesn't lock in building b. So you know what comes next. I found a homeless person sitting on the floor. Both of the doors were wide open and they had the nerve to be charging the phone and I asked them. Were they a guess. Of course they wouldn't be sitting on the dirty floor if they were a guess. I went to the front desk to see why is a homeless person in the building. The front desk lady first told me they didn't have cameras there. So what do I do when I get back to building b? I look up and it's a camera right there where the person was sitting. That just tells me they was all right with that homeless person being there and it was just the way the whole conversation went was telling me they had something to do with it. They probably let them sit there in building b with guest walking. By. Then you got a guy on the second floor who stole this garbage on the carpet in the hallway so nobody will walk that way. So I also had to complain about that and now he doesn't do it anymore. I see why extended stay gets very reviews. I've never done business with them before but I'll never do business with them again. Real odd that is cameras right there and they pretended like they didn't see anything and this happened around 11:00 p.m. do yourself a favor. Find

Have a great day was only there for one night but the free breakfast in the morning was pretty cheap. Could’ve had a better breakfast.

Breakfast was muffins and granola bars put away at 9:30 including the coffee. Room was like a motel room with kitchen facilities.

It’s perfectly fine for what it was as the price I paid. Minimal staff and the laundry price changed while I was there- $3.50 to $5 a load. Changed my own bedding. The rooms was pretty dusty and no one cleaned for the 2 weeks I was there. Convenient to highways and grocery, gym. Pretty quiet. Could do with more useable outdoor spaces. Fremont ranked happiest city in the country- unless you’re black. They just stare at you. I noticed a huge stain on the mattress when I was changing the bedding, and I never slept right after that night. I dont know why people always want reviews. I’m going to tell the truth. Thank you to the wonderful woman at the front desk who checked me in. I appreciate your spirit!

I wasn’t sure if the hotel was for homeless people. There are some damages in the hotel. There was no breakfast. I was disappointed when I arrived there because it looked better on their website.

Minimal breakfast choice, the bed was not correctly installed, and the night shift staff had no training on how to register a client; my client had to wait for more than an hour for the supervisor at midnight to check in. Very disappointed.

I was not satisfied with my stay. The room was not clean, and I found cockroaches and other bugs. The bed was very old and noisy, and the sofa was also old and torn. Overall, the room needs better cleaning and maintenance. I hope the hotel can improve these issues for future guests.

Front desk made me feel i was checking at the army. Dirty carpet, smell of weed, very unsafe
- 4/5
This property is goid for the price. We had a few 'issues' but the staff fixed them immediately. It was nice to have a atove, microwave & refrigerator.
- 4/5
The hotel is clean but few things that disappointed me were: 1) breakfast is a dismal coffee and bar and muffin if you find one. 2) The dishes, bowls and utensils had to be requested explicitly and not already available in the room. 3) Even after making the request for Dishes, no one brought it to the room. The rate was decent and that may be reason why the hotel seemed minimalistic. For budget friendly person it is worth every penny but if you are willing to spend more, you can get better choices to its next door.
- 3/5
Trash around the property.
- 2/5
Doors to hotel were left open because they were broke and the area has many transients wandering throughout the night. Some of the rooms are reserved for homeless residents and saw some drug use on premses

The front desk person was very, very, very rude. She talk but never listens, as soon as i spoke she talked over me. I was never able to tell her that someone was trying to get in my room, they finally left, but if they came back I was going to call the police. I questioned the room i was in, she told me 7 times, "thats what you paid for". Screaming she doesn't talk she screams. I told her let me talk,"no i know what you want" my husband is in the hospital there and will be for at least another week. I found another hotel that was peaceful, pleasant, without a KAREN At the desk. Thank you

Found roaches in room 403 and spiders. Needs better up keep. The entry door to building B wouldn’t open then went around to the main entrance found the doors wide open what the purpose of having to use your card keys to get in if the doors are open to the property for anybody to get in. The Beds were neatly made and clean but the roaches over shadow any good comments of the unit or property. I have pictures of the roaches in my room if you would like me to send them to you. Will never stay here again or recommend it to anybody else. I’m glad I didn’t notice them roaches on my first night of my 2 day stay. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. 👎

Also blinds with stains
- 4/5
In the pictures the rioms look nice but in person they are not. It smells bad inside and they are very dirty
- 2/5
On a table you could request plates, pots, and pans to be delivered to your room. That didnt happen. I was toldthey didnt ogmffer those services anymotlr Its a cheap place but no toilteries,

Clean bathroom, bed but dilapidated furniture - see picture of cushion replaced by pillow. Arms are very worn.
- 2/5
No kitchen supplies in room. Pool closet because they can’t get a permit
- 3/5
The negative part isvthe staff can be rude. In the room, they say they will change the sheets every 14 days. I find that unsanitary therefore I changed my own sheets and picked up my own towels. As far as their breakfast goes, its non-existent. Two bite muffins, instant oatmeal and a strawberry nutrigrain. No yogurt, no milk, no cereal.. They have coffee but never make enough for their tenants. The run out of coffee cups and takevtheir time to replenish them. It seems like whatever minimally they can get by with, thats what they do. The pool...Its out of commussion. Unfortunately nobody tell yout when making your reservations. They have washers and dryers and when Ive gone, its never crowded. The only benefit I get from staying there is I can make it to work in 2 minutes if I hit all the lights green.
- 5/5
Hotel was nice but no in room amenities. Coffee maker etc. 1st time I’ve ever went to a hotel like that. Iffy about going there again. Not even an ice machine
- 3/5
Didint like the bed , not comfortable at all and i was in the sweet
- 3/5
The price and location are good. The deluxe studio was big and comfortable. However no room cleaning service provided. And no breakfast during the stay of a few days and the receptionist said the breakfast delivery service vendor couldn’t deliver the foods for the entire week. Very strange. But price was supposed to include breakfast. Also the pool is closed this summer.
- 3/5
I have requested maid service after 8 days to which I was informed they only change the linens on day 14. Its over 14 days and nobody but me has changed the sheets, vacumned or swept. When I asked for this service theyclaimed they would put me on their list the following day but the room was never cleaned by the hotel. On fact when I asked for them, the front desk gave me the wrong size. Im not in the main building where its not so convenient. In the room, theres a notice that if you want dishes to call the front desk and they will bring them to you. I called and was told they dont do that anymore. They have a pool which is green and not useable. Its closed but nowhere on thw booking info does it me tion the pool being closed. I went to the front desk to get another green tag so my car wont be towed and they dont have a record of me having a car. I have personal plates and its all letters but they kept asking me if I was sure that was the license number because it didnt look right. I asked if there was an ice machine. No ice machine. There is an ice cube tray in the freezer for you to use. Ive never been at a hotel who didnt have an ice machine. Other ESAs have ice machines...this one doesnt.

Hotel reeked of marijuana. Toilets wouldn’t flush and overall stay was not accommodating
- 2/5
Bed was not comfortable, red stains on pullout couch mattress Toilet backed up & we had to unplug it ourselves Bathroom sink backs up

As we were in the room we started to look around and noticed how the ceilings were dirty and around the window. My husband went to use the bathroom and when he was done, he noticed the floor was a little wet. We thought maybe the room had just been cleaned before we got in so didnt think nothing of it. After each of our family used the restroom we continued to notice the floor wet. Then realized the water was coming from under the floor. We were in a hurry to get ready for an event so didnt have time to call the front desk to complain as soon as we checked in. As we left for our event we decided we were very disappointed and didnt want to stay there anymore. When asked for a refund and they refused. I would never stay with them again and would not recommend.

I just stzyed for 1 night and my room was clean and spacious... HK was very attentive and easy to deal with... thznk you very much

Everything checked out good.

The hotel was dirty.very dirty. This is the worst Expedia affiliated property that I am staying in. The only good thing amity this property was the staff. They were good and attended to me professionally and apologized for my concerns and unhappiness.

Big gap under the door letting in light. Who the heck serves Coffeemate anymore with coffee.

You get what you pay for. First our room has a strong foul stinky odor from Pets. All furniture was chewed on. Cushion from couch missing and bed lights and tv didnt work. And a neighbor kept blasting the entire vibratingninto our room. Best part, was checkingnoit and leaving. But theres a Starbucks across the street if you can get pass the homeless encampment

Great place to stay

Roaches!! Left got a refund less than an hour. DID NOT STAY!!

The room had spider webs, there were bed bugs on the sheets and the room was FULL OF DUST. I am still waiting for my refund.
- 4/5
Bed wasn't all that great would move when you move
- 3/5
The initial check-in was unpleasant. There are no signs directing customers to the check-in lobby location. The lobby check-in area does not have a public restroom. There was only a partial roll of toilet paper in the room. There are signs posted that picking up pet waste pick up is mandated by law but the are a few dog bag dispensers/waste disposal cans on the property. I would not stay at this location again.

It was noise smells bad
- 1/5
Roomm was dirty Refrigerator did not work thwy had no ice mechanic staff was not help full it smelled bad
- 1/5
Disgusting. Dirty socks in my room when I came in. Hair on the kitchen counter.
- 3/5
One big reason to stay there was the kitchen. Most of the buttons on the microwave did not work so cooking was difficult. They were not able to replace it. Didn't offer a room with a functioning unit. The room looked like it hadn't been used in a long time and no touch up cleaning. The room was on the first floor and all the chatter in the hallways and reception area came through the door. The mouse that can out from under the kitchen sink was an unwelcome surprise.
- 1/5
I booked this hotel for a family vacation, thinking it would be convenient with kids since it had a kitchen. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The stove barely worked, there were roaches in the room, and housekeeping only comes every 14 days. After my toddler spilled muffins, I asked for help cleaning and was told they don’t provide brooms or mops either. This location seems to cater more to long-term residents than travelers. I would not recommend this property if you’re visiting from out of town.

3.5 If you need a place to crash for a night or two, this spot will do the trick. It’s clean, well-located, quiet, and reasonably priced, all solid wins. The room had everything you’d expect, including plenty of towels, and for the rate, it’s hard to gripe too much. That said, the bed was stiff and the pillows were practically nonexistent. The first night’s sleep was sheer exhaustion; the second was a restless battle against discomfort. Honestly, a decent pillow could’ve saved the whole experience, but having both a hard bed and flimsy pillows made a good night’s sleep a lost cause. Breakfast was underwhelming, some cereal, pastries, and small coffee cups that barely woke up my taste buds. A simple bagel with cream cheese would’ve been a game-changer. Now, for the real highlight, Emily. I think that was her name, anyway. She was at the front desk and was easily the best part of my stay, even though we only interacted for about three minutes. Sweet, kind, and genuinely beautiful, I say that not just as a guest, but as a photographer with a trained eye for symmetry, bone structure, eyes that make a poet pick up a pen, and that effortlessly charming smile. Will that help you decide whether to stay here? Probably not... unless you're casting a commercial. All in all, not a bad place for a short stay, but if you’re planning more than a couple nights, you might want to look elsewhere.

It was good, I expected something lesser but received great service!

I stayed here two nights each morning I woke up to roaches being in shower. Building B has a weird smell and it’s even worse once you enter your own room. Don’t expect a lot for the breakfast. Overall not a good play to stay
- 5/5
temporarily, it’s a nice place to stay, considering the RVs parked outside the property and the homeless

We got a room with a kitchen & there were cockroaches scurrying around all over the walls & counters. The beds were supposed to be double, but they appeared much smaller. The hallways were dirty and the overall appearance of inside & outside was dirty & grimy. The woman working the front desk was very nice & accommodating. We did not stay. We asked for a refund & left. We had to call back the next day for the refund & the front desk person was again very nice & accommodating. We got the refund. I will not go back to Extended Stay.

I had no hot water for a shower, I let the desk know but nothing happend i was told that the manager would contact me and did not, I still had to pay for price, as well as the grap and go there was nothing there I had to let the front desk know. Overall, I probably will not stay at an Extended Stay America Suites again.

I have a disability knee problem. They elevated been broke for three weeks. No one has fixed it so I have to move to where I can find the elevator instead of stepping up three flights of stairs.
- 5/5
Staff is very kind! This was a very good base for us when my partner had a surgery at a nearby hospital.
- 1/5
When we check in the place was nice, but it became scary when every hour someone was knocking on the door, screaming in the hallway, the washroom door has vomit in the wall...there was cockroach in the washroom sink as well...
- 3/5
This place was not bad
- 3/5
Refrigerator and bathroom fan noise entire night and made it impossible to sleep.
- 1/5
Our first room was perfect out so I thought, it was a kitchenette. After getting comfortable we began cooking only to discover the electric eye on the stove didn’t work, there was no water pressure in the kitchen sink and the phone in the tin didn’t work. I walk down to the front desk to explain and they switched me into a smaller room. I was able to finish cooking my meal, but later that evening I went to shower and there was no hot water and again very little water pressure. At that point I decided to leave the location all together. Very dissatisfied and I will not go back to that location.
- 1/5
Lady was really rude in the front desk wasn’t able to check in
- 3/5
Not so good ,. Needs cleaning , smelly floors ,. Needs upgrade
- 5/5
It was nice clean and staff very pleasant. Lots of food options in the area and a selection of food at the front desk area.
- 1/5
The heat doesn't work, the staff has a bad attitude, the rented room is too old so everything is damaged and makes loud noise
- 1/5
No dishes nor silverware napkins . Dirty room
- 3/5
Bad attention
- 1/5
On the outside the building is ok, but inside is awful, smells, and needs a lot of remodeling.
- 1/5
I’m deeply disappointed, at some point I felt unsafe, the place was stinky (marijuana) and cigarette smell. There was a altercation in the hallway in front of my room, and what I got when I called the front desk was “what do you want me to to about it” people yelling and banging at walls and doors. I highly suspect they have unhoused people living in there.
- 5/5
This location is clean and a very reasonable price for the San Jose area. Staff was helpful and friendly. I love the option of have a microwave, regular refrigerator and stove top for some light cooking. It also makes the rooms more spacious even if you don't utilize those amenities. I have stayed here many times visiting my family in the area.
- 2/5
Cockroaches in my room. The smoke detector was halfway ripped off the ceiling so i don't know if it was working. The room and hallways smelled bad. There's not actually breakfast, just coffee. The place would have been ok, except for the roaches.
- 2/5
I ended up checking out and going to another hotel after two nights. It was just smelly from other people cooking and it was just unpleasant. There was a loud humming noise near our room, and the show had a significant leak the entire time.
- 4/5
Goid place in general for stays work/visit related.
- 1/5
AC didn’t work well, main entrance door was broken. I barely had any sleep.
- 4/5
The manager Amal treated my family and myself abysmally. Knocked at our door in the middle of the night accusing us of smoking, and threatened to call the police if we did not allow her to enter “right this second”. We did not let her in because we were not dressed. We dressed ourselves and stayed up, waiting for the police to arrive. They never did. Long story short. I will NEVER stay at this extended stay again.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff
- 1/5
Staff are poorly trained: rude and unfocused, not to mention no interest to serve anyone and careless about how others think
- 3/5
Overall, the place was extremely blah. The heater in the room didn't work. No shampoo in the bathroom and it was a long walk to the front desk to get some. OK for a quick overnight, but that's about it. Best if you bring an extra blanket for yourself as the heater in the room did not work, would only blow cold air.
- 1/5
I spoke to the front desk & the reservation department told me if I paid with a card that there isn't a deposit. When I checked in, front desk wanted to charge me $100 for incidentals. I told them that when I made the reservation I was told there wasn't a deposit because I've been with my card. Well the front desk wasn't trying to hear it so I called the hotel & Front desk picked up my car and transferred me over to reservations. And in front of the front desk ppl The person over the phone told me that because I paid with a debit card that incidental fee was not Required. So the front desk lady continued by saying oh sometimes it's required and I asked what do you mean sometimes it's required. I guess what I wasn't told over the phone was because the location on Farwell has two facilites, they require a deposit. However all the other spots don't. Which I find annoying because I called to make a reservation for the location on Farwell, so I find it strange that they would forget that detail. I'm completely okay paying an incidental fee however, this booking was for a friend and I wasn't trying to pay more than I already was. So the no incidental fee was 100% why I booked at this location.

not the best place but not the worst, wifi is terrible and has fees if you want a not so bad bandwidth

Horrific smell of cat urine, curry and marijuana on the floor we stayed on.

My tv was old and had no clarity in the picture

They had no breakfast, they lied about free breakfast in their expedia description. There was no toilet paper. The building was smelling like mold, and room had horrible stale smell, bathroom had smoke smell despite claiming to be a non-smoking room.
- 3/5
We had a reservation for Friday night initially, but because of flight cancellation we couldn’t arrive till Saturday. We called Friday night to inform. When we arrived Saturday the room we reserved was NOT ready. They contacted us later to inform us it was ready. When we went to our room, it was not cleaned from last guest- bed unmade, food on counter, dirty towels. They gave us another room. That evening there was a cockroach on the bathroom counter!!!💁 we thought it was non-smoking but we could smell cigarette smoke. The next day we saw someone smoking in the hallway. YOU TELL US HOW OUR STAY WAS.

This property didn’t have no pots or pans when they offered a kitchen, i went to buy food to cook because they offered a kitchen but they said they ran out of pots or pans, i should get a refund for this. I was not given the amenities i was waiting for and the whole reason why i booked this hotel but they didn’t have it.

Everything is great a plus for kitchenette

When you cannot even take the time to vacuum the hallways - you know its only about the money. This hotel is dirty and needs TLC and not property managers who only care about $. Great property potential but the people don't care how clean it is. Basics and that's it!
- 3/5
when I returned at night, just gobs of people outside all around the building like you were at an apartment complex unexpected
- 3/5
The shower wasn’t working. Bedsheets smelled like dirty. There may have been some kind of bed bugs ‘cause I was ver itchy. And they run out of “breakfast”( coffee and muffins) @ 8:00 Definitely not going back .
