overall quiet accomodations. comfortable bed. breakfast was above average for a budget motel, with eggs sausage potatoes waffles. room rate was in the lower range for the area. main issue is that air conditioning is poor so that will need to be fixed before the heat comes.

Unfortunately, housekeeping and property maintenance were lacking. Trash cans throughout the property were overflowing for two days. Our room had not been cleaned adequately upon arrival; we found used Band-Aids near the bed, stained or dirty bed skirts, dirty walls, and a dead cockroach in the room. Additionally, the lamps did not work, although the ceiling fan was operational. The grounds were enjoyable to walk around, and the fruit trees added a nice touch, but the landscaping appeared neglected. The fruit trees needed better care, the rose bushes needed pruning and cleanup, and the porches and walkways were dirty. While there were some positive aspects to our stay, the cleanliness and maintenance issues significantly impacted our overall experience.

Rooms are terrible old broken crap no back on the remote stained comforter ok’d stained carpet. Just dingy. Updated rooms newer carpet and linens how about a plug for the bath tub! No plugs for phones except across the room But not by the night stand.

The room was clean and no complains. We arrived late and had to wait for an hour for the clerk to open the door for us to check in. Tried calling rhe number from the website and no answer. Customer service lines and it was AI so did not get anywhere. I recommend a door bell so for those that travel late can use when the clerk is away asleep or doing something else to hear the people arriving at all times.

The facility was unique and comfortable. It was located close to the freeway and the grocery store. The Bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean.

When I opened the door the size of the space was incredible it was like an apartment. A living room and full size kitchen. The bedroom had two queen beds, a full-size dresser and closet. I loved the separate shower and sink because it was easy for us to get ready and not wait for the bathroom. In the morning the simple breakfast ( bread, bagels, sausage, hars boiled eggs, yogurt cereal and a do it yourself waffle station) was what we needed for our journey home. The only thing I noticed is that the small coffee maker in the room had no Hot cups. I wish we could have stayed another night.

Spacious, but very old room. Nice fruit trees on the property but the private porch area to my room was pretty dirty. Very helpful concierge and overall a good stay.

The property is run down in desperate need of repair. Outdoor trash cans overflowed with trash because they were never emptied during our 3 night stay. Hot tub is as cold as the pool. Breakfast was not good - cold eggs and terrible coffee. Weird parking situation with the super sketchy motel next door. Rude staff. Wish we had stayed elsewhere.

We spent the weekend with some friends, we were 4 people sharing a room. Room was clean and spacious with a ceiling fan but still we felt the room kind of warm but AC wasn’t working, we talked to the staff and they let us switch rooms next day but in the new room AC wasn’t working either we talked to the staff again and they apologized offering 10% refund, other than that we were fine. Me and my friend loved the garden in the premises.

We knew it was an inexpensive place, but we did expect the hot tub to be working and the pool to be clean. There was an issue with the AC rhe first night. It had to be turned on and off in the office. The second night it just didn't work.

In my experience, this hotel was a disappointment. Pros: -room smelled clean on arrival -weekend desk staff did the best with what he was able to do -room attendant was available if needed -although not maintained, the grounds/trees were unique and a welcome surprise - breakfast yogurt available and good Cons: -air conditioner was controlled by staff, never got cooler that 71F, in the room (controls in-room) -SOME rooms had Roku TV, mine did not have cable (manager said, "No cable, too expensive") and I was NOT given a room with Roku (one that would allow me to log onto my subscriptions) -Hot Tub broken told will be repaired this summer, pool dirty (child vomited in it while I was there) -weekly staff very slow to help and did not compensate for problems with TV and lack of air conditioning in room -weekday breakfast, not like the picture, hard boiled eggs-poor quality and smelled bad, some small oranges-moldy, no cream for coffee, no decaf coffee, whole milk warm on counter, hot meals were heated-did not look cooked Overall, for me, a big disappointment after reading the reviews. SAD!

Reasonable accommodations for the price. Room was clean, bed comfortable. I could hear the street noise at night but not enough to prevent sleep.

It was perfect for what we needed. We attended a wedding and loved the suite, all family members were happy and comfortable.

Breakfast was good, rooms were not so clean and in need of updating. Channels were terrible, wifi was not given, pool was fine but spa was not working, which was one of the reasons for booking. Was a good price for the rooms, but can definitely see why.. got a conjoined room but the room didnt have any deadbolt type locks that i could lock from my side of the door which was uncomfortable. If you are looking for cheap and not expecting much this is your place.

I want to give an honest review for this place. I really loved it. The thing that I loved most was the grounds. They had 64 fruit trees lots of different colored, rose bushes, and lots of other types of flowers as well. It was so beautiful that I took the time to walk around all of the property to enjoy them. It is a dated facility that has not been modernized. But it has been kept up well and is very clean! At this price point, you could really be in for a disgusting accommodation. But this place far exceeded my expectations. I was traveling as a single woman, and I felt safe here. The staff were very friendly and the grounds were very well maintained. If I ever have to stay in Fresno again this is where I will go.

The room was clean and had good amenities. The heat wasn't working and I was given the option of moving or using a space heater. The breakfast items are hot sausage, eggs, potatoes, or waffles, or cold cereal, yogurt, muffins and juice and milk. The hot items weren't anything to brag about, but they were good.

I think we had a one off experience...the thermostat didnt work, there was a bug in my husband's bed the first night and the shower head screeched. The hotel was nice enough to not charge us for leaving after two nights vs four night stay planned

Lovely garden and trees with lots of fruit. However, the rooms themselves were older and not as clean as I would expect. Was disappointed.

Pool were dirty , furniture in the room old, tv in the room didn’t function, and everything was dirty . Needs a gardener to maintain the rose bushes look beautiful and property.

Other than the roses and trees the garden inn is ugly outdated and unkempt. We needed a quick stop over on our way home from SoCal but I would not recommend this hotel. Very outdated and shoddy.

Good affordable place!

it was nice to have a quiet large room after driving for 12 hours. We arrived late and were hungry so finding an In and Out across the street was great (my favorite). I would definitely stay here again.

My only issue was that there was no shampoo and conditioner in the shower. It was just bodywash, but other than that, the place is great.

We chose this property because it would allow us to have our dog since we were there for a veterinarian appointment. When we got there the room he put us in at first the beds were not made yet so he moved us to another room. That was fine until we got ready to go to bed and to turn on the lights by our beds. Both lights were unplugged and there was no outlet in sight to plug them in. We took our shoes off and walked to the bathroom and there was a big wet spot on the carpet by the bathroom door. I put a towel down so we didn’t have to walk on the wet carpet. However, the office staff was very courteous and helpful. And he provided us with a very good breakfast. The arrangement of the hotel was a little strange, because I think it might have at one time biern sn apartment complex. But it suited our needs in the moment and we were happy there.

Full kitchen in our room but no cookware. No utensils, NOTHING. Fortunately I hadn't planned this stay with cooking in mind. That being said.......our room was very clean. Staff is very kind and actually have a great attitude. This is a beautiful place to stay! I wish I had spent more time in it.

This location was super quiet and the perfect landing spot for day tripping out to the national parks. It is very spartan with no frills and a touch outdated but not in any way that impacted our stay. The fruit trees were delightful. Love that it’s pet-friendly. It worked perfectly for what we needed it for.

This hotel is Awesome. It’s super clean. Room had a private patio with a bistro table, abundant flowers & fruit trees, clean, accessible swimming pool with spa. Room was spacious, including large, large flat screen, an 8’ couch and mirrored, full Length mirror doors, coffee maker, refrigerator and separate freezer unit. The breakfast was great with waffle maker, sausage links, cereals, yogurt, bagels, muffins, coffee, teas, hot cocoa packs, juices and milk. Inside tables and patio tables or, use your room tray to bring it back to your room.

I love how its so peaceful and the rooms are always so clean.

Unfortunately, the room was not clean.There was a portion of tampax found under the bed. There were ants on the bathroom counter. There were also dead insects sitting on the toilet tank. I could usually forgive certain items in a hotel room but cleanliness is not negotiable. The staff was also not attentive to the breakfast service. I had to tell him, yogurt, coffee, hot water were out. He got up and refill them afterwards. Just did not feel that staff was attentive to the guests needs.

Friendly staff, clean room, quiet area. My only complaint is that breakfast starts a bit late, at 7:00. 6:00 would be better, as I was not able to take advantage of the breakfast because of my schedule. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

I loved the outside of the hotel. There are fruit trees all over the property. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked making my own waffles and how clean the dining area was.

The hotel setting is beautiful and quiet. The room was large, well furnished, clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided looked to be quite nice. The coffee tasted good!

The room had no heat and the tv never had a signal...we complained to the office but were told to wait and see if it all comes back on....nothing happened! After several hours we were moved to a different roon!

Beautiful exterior! Lovely fruit trees and small patio outside our door. Very nice front desk staff. Large room and very clean. Generous breakfast including warm sausages, hard boiled eggs, and a waffle maker. Little quirky things were wrong with the room. A light bulb was missing for one of the bedside lamps. No light switch near the door entrance. Overall a nice place I would stay at again.

I had to go and find the desk agent so I could checkin. And when I did he was dismissive and seemed to be put out. When I got to my ppm it was sweltering hot! There are no thermostats on the rooms, all controlled from the front desk. So I went down and had to find him yet again so he could turn the heat off. I don’t think he did because the room never cooled down even with the windows open. We’ve stayed here before and have always had a great experience. This has left us with a bit of a sour taste. The next time we’re in town for work we will stay again and hopefully things will be better. But alas if not…

I really wanted to like this place. The grounds were lovely. There were many fruit trees that added to the ambience. But I got into my room and it was freezing. I turned on the heat waited a while, but nothing. The front desk staff was helpful and offered a space heater or a different room. I chose a different room and it was nice and warm. Unfortunately I woke up early and it was freezing and I couldn’t get the heat to come back on. Eventually, it did warm up a bit. But I think you can’t control any of the temperature with the in room thermostats that was very disappointing as it was so cold outside it was not the cleanest place and there were ants in the bathroom and a stain on the towel. Again the front desk staff was nice and tried to help. I do think guest should know ahead of time that they cannot control the heat.

First, I didn't understand that my room was inside another room so the room number the guy told me was not easy to find. I walked around the place at least 4 times and then asked what was going on. Attendant on duty was not very polite. Second, the lamps were not working so the attendant had to come in and move the bed to plug them in. Third,the tv only gets Christian channels which is very strange. I asked the attendant if that was the case and he said yes.

It’s a lovely big room with all the facilities you could need. The outdoor areas look fantastic, and the design is really nice.

Although it was quiet and serene outside (from what I could see) the exterior was good. However, inside could have been much better. I had a room with a front porch area (2 chairs and a small table...it had a used ashtray with some cigarette butts in it). Inside the thermostat instructions stated to not tamper with it although the room temp never rose above 67 deg. and the heater was on. Neither of the bedside lamps worked...I finally discovered one wasn't plugged in and there was no outlet available. The other one was inoperable. The TV had no stations worth watching since most of them were old sitcom reruns. The bed although clean and well made up was hard and uncomfortable. I didn't complain because I'm not a complainer; I just dealt with it. On an up note: the room was clean and well supplied with towels, soap, shampoo etc.

Just the heater individually control would be better solution to a more comfortable stay. The good thing is price is right is affordable.

I went out with family and friends, went I got back a bought 11:20 at night my room was 64 degrees went I tray to turn the heater on it wouldn’t work , then I call the office and they toll nothing they can do about it because they did not have any more rooms. My? Is why they don’t have technicians 24 /7 for this situation in November. That’s why I rate it 1 Then the TV wouldn’t work ether.

The checkin was smooth and the room and gardens are exceptional..indeed a beautiful garden. We loved our stay but they can upgrade the beds for a 100 percent grade! It was an otherwise perfect stay...found it by accident and was so surprised Fresno had such a wonderful hotel!!!! Will stay again if passing through

They let animals sleep at their hotels in any room they have ticks on their couches my son got bit and they still didn’t care to do anything about it

Friendly staff, quiet area, good value, decent room in low rise buildings, and breakfast for less money than most. Pet fee $25 USD like most others, some wear and tear in the room but linens were nice. Some spots on walls need a little more cleaning. Double queen suite (755 s.f.) has kitchenette with full fridge, microwave, single serve coffee maker but no dishes, just the disposable coffee cups. A tv in livingroom area and another big tv in the bedroom. Cable worked fine. We did not try the pool and hot tub but it is a cute resort style setup in centre of the buildings near the office. Waffle maker, bagels, sausage and scrambled eggs, cereals, juice and yogurt offered. Coffee was ok a bit of grinds nwere

Everything was great! We got a suite and it felt just like home. The only thing I would recommend is an area rug in the living space. That would be great for I didn’t bring any socks.

We booked on hotels.com. After a long flight we arrived and there was no record of our reservation. They said we could pay a higher price and try to sort it out in the morning. We ended up driving straight to Yosemite and camping just outside the park.

Breakfast coffee was disgusting. They mind as well use sewer water. Dirty room and unsafe location. No decent running water. Narrow parking. Too many stray cats and garbage bins were never emptied. Definitely NOT coming back. Place is badly managed and should be rated less than it deserves.

The property has the potential to be very nice. My room felt used up and dirty. Toothpaste smeared on the walls and the air conditioning didn’t work. It was 80° and I found it difficult to sleep.

Really convenient for travelling, the pool area was relaxing. The rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast fuelled us on our way. Parking was easy. The laundry room was just what we needed on our journey.

No air conditioning was broken upon arrival I let the front desk know and he got upset and said well don’t turn on the air conditioning it is going to be cool tonight. It was 76 degrees in the room with no cooling awful. I would not recommend staying here.

The people that work there were sooo nice and helpful. Sitting on the patio under the fruit trees was so relaxing. The flowers and garden areas were beautiful. We only had breakfast on our fly back home day, it was simple but filling bagels, FRESH fruit from the trees on site, sausage, eggs, toast, and you could make a waffle but we didn't.

The room was spacious, but the bedding and other items had a bad smell. I couldn't sleep at night. The room was very old, and most of the outlets didn't work. They didn't refill items at breakfast, and there were very few options. However, the area is nice. They have lots of fruit and flowering trees, which look really beautiful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was right next to the underground garden, and we walked to it. The refrigerator worked well. The room size was big. The carpet had many stains, TV had little channel choices and signals were poor. The sofa arm was broken and one seat sunk in. Lights next to bed were not working, so as outlet. The bed looked clean and we checked there were no bed bugs. However, my husband and I were very itchy. I don’t know why, and maybe it was due to some harsh chemicals. The bed seemed comfortable at first, but it had little support, so we both woke up with body aches. The room condition was so bad that we didn’t take shower or eat the free breakfast. We just slept the night and went to the airport. I had no idea how this hotel can get such good review on the condition of the property. Later I looked back, I noticed that if there was a poor review, there would be many 5 stars came after that review. Unfortunately, we will not ever come back to this hotel again due to the condition of the facility.

Our room was 51 degrees upon arrival, there was trash left that had not been replaced by previous guests. Had to ask for extra blankets 3 times and everytime all we got were excuses as to why he couldn’t access the extra linen garage. At the third time asking for extra blankets because the room was beyond freezing, was told the employee could shut off ac unit from his office. We had heat set on 90 and could only get room temp to 56 degrees! Completely unacceptable treatment. Also they allowed other guests to party loudly and I do mean loudly even later into the night! Would NOT recommend this hotel!

The front desk area was very smelly. It was us assaulting to my nose. Anytime I had to go in there. I thought I was going to be sick. I asked how late the hot tub and pool were opened and he quickly said the hot tub was broken and to not get in the pool because it was dirty. I then went into the room and there was flies filling the entire unit. The bathroom had mosquitoes in it it was very dirty. The sheets were not cleaned. The furniture was falling apart, and there was questionable stains on the furniture. He also only gave me one key. I had to go back and enter the smelly office to get another Key. I would not recommend although if you do have to stay here there’s a really good Mexican restaurants next-door. staff was also rude and unpleasant. The bellhop trolleys had broken glass on them so I could not use them to carry my luggage. I

There was construction going on so the pool always had a layer of soot/dust on it and the hot tub wasn't working. Considering it was in the 90s the pool would've been nice, that being said as much as I enjoyed everything else about the stay (the front desk was awesome and the interior of the hotel was great!) I'm going to have to think twice about booking here on my next visit in November. Missing a major amenity is amjor deal.

Words cannot describe the beauty encompassed in this region. I was born in Fresno, California 54 years ago. I didn't discover this area, Garden Inn/Suites and the Forestiere Underground Garden until several years ago. A must-see and visit for the entire family!

What an amazing bargain for a 1-bedroom suite, just .2 mi from the underground gardens. Staff was beyond accommodating, and the pool was lovely.

The rooms are very old and outdated with stained carpeting. Broken air conditioning, breakfast buffet was terrible. Electrical outlet not working in my room. No, elevators and the steps were very slippery.When went. Soap dispensers were empty. I would not recommend this property.

WiFi had spotty service. Phone did not work. I tried calling front desk but never got a dial tone. Hair dryer did not work. Whenever I turned I on, the bathroom lights turned off. The room was clean but outside the trash cans were full and overflowed to the ground. The front desk clerk knocked on my door at 11:30 pm waking me up just to ask my name and ask the spelling. I was shouting through the door because I did not want to open the door to a stranger late at night.

The property was large, clean, and the staff were very accommodating. We’ll stay her again for sure.

The Rooms were nice but needs more towels and no ants in Kitchen…. The Pool was Ok But need to get rid of the smaller metal rusted tables and it would’ve been nice to have a working Jacuzzi…

On a hot summer season stay. Other than the first room there was given to us was dirty, floor and furnitures have unexplanable dirty stains, unclean, bed were not made. We have to walk all the way back to the front desk told the man on duty. About the room he gave us. He was nice enough to give us another room, at the end of the property. Oh 2nd room all have the uncleaned issues same as the first room, but the bed is made, On top of that AC doesn't work, over ten mosquitoes were flying around and it started to bite us. The bath towels were on the floor and after our long drive with over 20 mosquitoes in the room biting us as we sleep with the fan high speed, later AC the starting to work. We were able to fall asleep. Overall the property looks like it have a potential to be a nice place for a short stay. Note to property owner: Your property can be very beautiful. But it can use a deep stream clean on the carpet, furnitures especially the chairs, sofa and repaint the wall especially in the bathroom with a lot of nasty stains it's hard to look pass as a clean place to sit. Overall: customer service Friendly, street parking for large size car and trailer. Good for short stays.

Loved the hotel layout, our room as very quiet and spacious. It has a very nice patio. Area for dog to potty was very convenient. Loved the breakfast availability. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely return.

When I mentioned this to the receptionist in the morning (a young lady), she said she would check with the manager and provide a 10–15% refund. I wasn’t even asking for a refund, but this experience left me quite disappointed. Based on this, I also feel that some of the reviews may not reflect the actual experience

Good value, area is challenging. Bar and bistro had limited food and drink choices.

My stay here was very disappointing. The room had no air conditioning, which made it extremely uncomfortable, especially at night. The pool was dirty and definitely not inviting to use. Breakfast was also a letdown — there was barely any food available, and the options that were there were very limited. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless improvements are made in cleanliness, amenities, and basic comfort.

Just amazing fruit trees and native to our valley

Broken furniture. Large room. Easy parking and access to room.

The A/C went out and the room was 80 degrees and climbing. I checked out and headed home as I could not sleep. I was told that there would be a credit to my payment but I have heard nothing so far.

Nice location, roomy and very comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to swim in the pool but it looked very inviting. Breakfast was tasty as well. Definitely recommend.

Lack of courtesy and hospitality. Morning staff was rude and unapologetic for an error on the part of the times posted for morning contenital breakfast. Error would have been understandable but the attitude and the rude tones taken but the morning manager were not acceptable. There are many other available hotels in the area which we will try next time. I would not recommend this hotel.

We love the ambiance. There’s pool, garden, trees. Rooms are big and we like how the lay out of the place. Breakfast is decent too.

There was a carpet nail sticking up along the edge of the bathroom, which I stepped on twice and cut my foot. The light next to the bed is missing the switch, so I couldn’t turn it on. One of the bath towels had an entire corner ripped out of it. It was shredded. It’s too bad because the room was clean and comfortable, other than the nail jabbing me in the foot and the garden walkways are lovely.

The 2 room suite was spacious, furniture a bit tired. An update was done but left an unneeded telephone cover/connection plug on the wall that looked old & smoke stained. This could have been removed spackled & painted. There was a kitchen but stove was disabled, no dishes, silverware, cupboards were bare. There was a coffee machine & working large fridge. The free breakfast was good in lobby but while eating I noticed the doors were filthy from many hands using the doors. That's if that's the dirt you can see, what else is dirty you can't see? The suite seemed clean and we did leave a tip for the maid. We were looking forward to the pool & jacuzzi but the pool was cold & lots of debris floating on top. The jacuzzi was warm (not hot) but the jets weren[t working.

You won't see any fruit - very poor breakfast, only coffee and not even water! The rooms are dirty, the bed linen is old, pilled, stained, made of synthetics, which is unpleasant to sleep under.

Dated, but very clean and spacious

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and had a very home bedroom feel to it. Only a couple of minor things the tv was old and didn’t have many options. Also, the breakfast Buffett ran out of many options quickly and wasn’t replenished. So get to breakfast early. Would recommend this hotel overall.

The gardens where wonderful!! Hot tub did not work

It's a convenient location, but the rooms are not the cleanest, nor up to date. It's a basic hotel, even if you upgrade and purchase the suites. I checked in one hour after check-in time and the front office could not figure out if a suite was available, because none of their housekeeping staff was answering.

Beautiful place. Comfortable beds. Big room. Nice staff. Within five miles to all fast food, grocery stores, Costco and shopping. Right next to the Underground Gardens a must see. Delicious fruit from the trees for breakfast. We'll definitely come back

The room smelled and was not clean at all.

Stayed here about 10 years ago and it was beautiful with many fruit trees and flowers. It has new owners and they have let it run down. Still a good value even though they are not paying attention to the details like the previous owners.

Okay. Probably would look for another place to stay next time.

The room was clean and looked like an apartment or a home, not like a typical hotel room. Staff are attentive and friendly!

The bathroom is very poor. Smelly wash basin. Very basic breakfast.

Why a $100.00 charge just in case an incident or property damage REIMBURSEMENT AT SOLELY HOTEL DISCRETION?... the property building is in so poor conditions. Outdated (vintage) broken phones, holes in walls and doors, second hand carpet, destroyed stove... But the fruit garden is nice.

Cute hotel. It was good but couldn’t watch TV, I don’t think the TV was connected. Good quiet location. The breakfast was good but they ran out of coffee, they should have had 2 containers of coffee. The room was okay but the fan didn’t work. Overall it was good.

Room 162. The thermostat does not work. The bedside lights do not work. The vent fan moter in the bathroom does not work. The chair at the writing table is dirty and stained. The pool and hotub are in need of repair.

Clean units, but very old. We happened to be awakened by a domestic abuse fight of another guest. Courtyard was beautiful.

Ty Garden Suites Inn

This is a $300 room for under $100. It seems like a condo complex converted to rooms and suites though Im told it's not. I would be happy living here. The fruit trees and flowers are spectacular. The air smells like heaven from the blossoms. There is road noise but I grew up on hwy 1 so it's just background to me. The hot tub was perfect after a long drive. We are seriously considering staying a extra night. What a score! Plus walk to the underground gardens. It's worth the admission price.

As the site says, this is an older hotel so don’t expect fancy. But what it lacks in newness is made up for by the beautiful grounds and very kind and helpful staff. The roses are spectacular. Bigger than a fist and full of aroma. Citrus trees are also plentiful. I would love to star here again.

Staff mentioned to wait for an hour for AC to kick in but still did not work. The outside temp was around 95-100 degrees… had to go to different hotel.. the staff at this hotel mentioned to give full refund and i am hoping to get a full refund for this booking…

Shower was making a loud, high pitched noise. The desk clerk changed my room with no hassle. Room was tucked away, private, and quiet. I would definitely stay here again

There was no heater or AC services. It took about 25 minutes to check in. The area around the property looked sketchy. the front door latch was broken. I paid for a double suite, but wasn't allowed to access the second suite. My keycard didnt work, so i was unsure if it would be rented out to someone else and it had access to my kitchen. The bathroom was older and the place felt more like a motel 6.

The service was excellent from day 1 until we checked out. Very accommodating. Breakfast was free. Near to other restaurants. We loved the hot tub as well. Unique place. Will definitely stay again. Thank you! We had a good experience.

When we checked in we left because we were in town for a sports event , we didn’t get back until late and went to bed , when we woke up in the morning we realized the room was full of maggots , EVERYWHERE . Falling from the ceilings , in the corners , behind the tv , literally everywhere . Its disgusting . I asked for a refund, and noticed MANY other guest leaving for the same reason . Of course they are not refunding me , so unless you want to sleep with worms , DO NOT BOOK !!!!!!! I will be reporting to health department and to the city . Shame on them and shame on Expedia for not protecting their customers .

Parking lot was alright but was frustrated that I lacked space towards my room as it felt like many people just parked further from the lobby even if their room was closer by to it. Could do with a few more spots but those were taken with garage spaces. Maybe if those were knocked down or open up for an extra price? Also the key card kept getting demagnetized even in the sleeve though which sucks but the staff were always there to help out. Overall, the positives outweighed the negatives so I can see myself staying again.

It was a nice place to stay for my trip to Kings Canyon/Sequoia. Lots of options for the included breakfast. I felt like I was living in my own apartment for the weekend. It would be nice if there were tissues in the room, though.

The bed is very good, though. And there are actual garden areas. Quite nice this time of year. I seems that the staff is doing all it can with what they are given.

The grounds are well kept and the "garden" setting is very lovely and well maintained. The breakfast is ok but would have preferred fresh eggs and better breakfast meats.

Property had a lot of potential but it has not been maintained. No conventional TV. Some funky service that had channels that nobody would want to watch. Internet was non existent. Breakfast was terrible, out of all hot items and were not replenished. All that was left was coffee and stale bagels. This place could be wonderful but needs new management.

Additionally, the first two electrical outlets I tried didn’t work. Despite the room having a stove and refrigerator, it was poorly stocked—there was only one cup and no utensils. I addressed my concerns with the manager, who offered to move us to another room. However, given the state of this one, I had little confidence in the overall cleanliness of the hotel and chose to stay elsewhere.

Overall everything was ok I’ve experienced worse I didn’t like our 1st room and was pleasantly placed in a different room which was a little bit better but my comfort level was lower due to the fact that I was able to get the room heaters to warm up our rooms.

We were so cold all day and night, and obviously the suite had a heating problem because there were signs near the thermostats that said "do not turn up past 80°". The thermostat needed a battery which they replaced, but the heat still did not come out of the registers. It seemed more like air conditioning was on. The TV's only got weird non-network channels. The TV remote didn't work that well. The Wi-Fi was terrible and we had to use our own hotspot. When I took a shower in the morning, I went to grab a towel and it had a dirty disgusting blood like stain on it! Thankfully, the other towel looked clean. They had shampoo conditioner, and body wash dispensers in the shower. They were all empty! The breakfast was decent, and the beds were comfortable but I would never stay there again!

Ratngbif this property varira based on the room. The whole property is razred 8.4 and my suite was rated 9.4. My rate would probably be 7.0 considering no heating, ripped curtains, dirty towels, lack of toilet paper and towels, bath fan hanging off the ceiling and mold spots on the ceiling. It is too bad because the look of the property with beautiful citrus fruit is quite opposite from the way this property is managed

Great stay and quiet.

Check in and out was very smooth. The man Jackson at the front desk was very kind and answered all my questions. The breakfast served was a nice variety. Our room was perfect. We got a suite so it has a living room with a kitchen and a separate bedroom with a bathroom.

Heaters don’t work. They don’t care

The owners are so nice, the rooms a clean and breakfast is great. Definitely recommend to people.

Dirty no clean

It was like being in a tiny Eden right off the beaten path. I was happy with the garden scene.

The rooms were outdated but not a deal breaker. The heat in my room didn’t work. Nor did the phone to call the front desk. So I went to the lobby and told the manager. He told me to crank the heat to 80. After it was cranked all the way up for a few hours, the temp in the room had not gone up. So I asked for a new room. They put me in a new room that was in a dark, dead-end corner of the parking lot. As a solo female traveler, I didn’t feel safe. Went into new room, the thermostat was already cranked to high, and the room was cold. I couldn’t stay in there. Went to the front desk, checked out, and then had a comfortable stay at La Quinta across the street.

The landscaping was the most beautiful i'd seen at an inn. It was very quiet. The one issue was the parking was too far away from the room.
