Moldy odor, no room service at all , dirty room and bathroom, staff least willing to help. Over rated on website. Breakfast nothing worthy to eat, coffee not available.

Room was dirty and reaked of cologne and was coakarochs floor boards very dusty, dirty and night stand had spilled stains on it old toilet paper rolls 1/2 empty and no fresh rolls, too scared to try the breakfast after seeing roaches, second just as dirty late will not ever stay there again and do not recommend to anyone, pool was green and murky looking!

Staff was great Someone complained about me and my kids because we were on the top floor. Felt like I had to be on my babies non stop. Next time I’ll request a bottom floor.

Location and workers are usually friendly Workers not polite at all especially the guy working night shift on May 30, 2026. Housekeeping was loud, slamming the door s at 8am. I couldn't sleep so I got up early and departed

The bed was comfortable The hotel is dirty. Stained furniture, floors of the facility didn’t look like they’ve been vacuumed, swept or cleaned. Electrical outlets in our room were broken which looked dangerous. Window screen holes were taped with electrical tape…

The front desk guy was asleep. The place smelled like sewer. The parking lot was sketchy with people smoking weed. Overall i would avoid

I originally reserved a room that had one king bed, but cancelled it after I decided to invite my son. I then reserved a room that had two king beds. When I arrived, I received the keys to the room but was surprised when I didn’t have two king beds. The room had one king bed and a couch with a pull out bed. When I went downstairs to question my reservation, they said they didn’t have any rooms with two king beds and all the rooms with two queen beds were sold out. So it seems hotels.com promoted false advertisement. Along with that, the furniture in the room looked like it was from the 1980s and looked very used. The elevator was missing a button to push, which we didn’t need, but the aesthetic of it was unpleasant. I also thought I was closer to my destination, but I learned my lesson. Book directly with the hotel.
- 4/5
Average room for the price.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good, cleaning staff was very nice. Bed was good, a little too firm. Pillows were like sleeping on a rock.
- 2/5
We reserved 3 rooms and could only use two because the people in the room next to my daughter were so loud and inappropriate that my grandchildren were too afraid and they all had to stay in one room. My husband and I had a room away from them but the room was poorly maintained. They should have received a credit for one room.

Staff was cool Rooms were not clean to my family's standards, base trim filthy, dirty dispensers in r shower, shower walls have brown stuff smeared in a few places, doors around handles are filthy etc, the exhaust fan in bathroom does not work, mini fridge doesn't work either

I had an encounter with the day supervisor. She had an attitude with me. I could see that my race has a lot to do with her attitude. *The facilities are decent, but there are a lot of things that are not clean. *Carpeting in rooms need to be cleaned. *The floor tiles in all of the hallways and entryways need to be cleaned. These areas look like street sidewalks or actual roadways with gunk on the flooring on almost every tile. * * *I reported that my toilet has mold in it. The mold under the front rim inside the toilet has this mold. This mold is spread every time the toilet is flushed. I was informed that all of the toilets in all the rooms have this mold problem. Turns out that this is true, as I stayed another night and had to switch rooms. I took pictures of both toilets in both rooms, they look like the same toilet, but they are different toilets, in different rooms. * * * I guess I expected more, because I have recently stayed at both Holiday Inn Express and Hyatt Place. These hotels were fantastic and met all of my expectations. I GOT WHAT I PAID FOR, LESSON LEARNED, THE HARD WAY!!!!

todo exelente , solo me gustaria mas diversidad de desayuno pero esta bien ,entendiendo las condiciones del pais.
- 4/5
My room well not dirty was not quite as clean as I would have liked it. Also sort of sparse even though it's large being sweet, there really wasn't much of anything in the rooms. Additionally, one of the two TV controllers didn't work. Was relatively quiet down at the end of the hall, although it was close to the train tracks which we did here once or twice. Typical breakfast. Worked out well for my dog and they didn't charge extra for it
- 4/5
The staff were very helpful, and both the hotel place and room were good. However, a bit more attention to cleanliness would improve the experience especially the floors and the bathroom on the first floor and the walls in the bathroom room.
- 3/5
Fitness Center was very nice. Room was nice and big. Some parts were dirty, broken and old. Staff was inflexible when we asked if our 3 year old could take a baked good to-go at 6:40am and we were told breakfast starts at 7am. It just seemed unnecessarily strict when it was already out and we were just asking to take one item to-go so we could leave.

All is good.

The lobby was very clean and inviting. However when we arrived, no one was at the desk and it took several minutes until the clerk arrived and he was non-apologetic. We did not eat breakfast. However one of my traveling companions went to the gym during the breakfast hours and said it was well attended. The main issue was the trains! Train tracks run adjacent to this property and we were awakened during the night and early morning hours three and possibly four times.

Nothing. This spot needs a revamp. Every thing is falling apart, doors are extremely dirty and dinged up, our bathroom has weird gross spots all over the door way, rug was coming apart.

Entry and first floor were nice. 2nd floor AC was not on. So the hallway was hot and stuffy. The room furniture was dinged up everywhere I asked for a couple blankets and the hotel did not have or supply. The bathroom needed help, it was clean, but the toilet was scoured, molding at shower was peeling, bathroom door was warped, yet the floor looked new.TV had to be reset every time turned on and the remote was broken. Not a standard La Quinta at all. a bust on the lodging.
- 1/5
The Bed was extremely depressed on one side. The Best reception for the TV lasted only 30 seconds, TV constantly freezing up. Breakfast: 1st day sausage overcooked and not edible. Second day eggs cold. Room was Buggy, killed 2 roaches and multiple other bugs in two days. Bugs crawling on the wall.

Room was disgusting. Had stains on all the furniture. Didn’t want to touch anything.

There were cigarette butts all over 3rd floor. Lady yelling in her room. Smelt like cig smoke and butt on 3rd floor. To top it off, I have really bad Rheumatoid Arthritis , I choose this hotel due to pool and hot tub to swim and use hot tub. We checked in went upstairs to change went down to pool gate was locked, went to front desk and asked and he said oh yea its closed today, no expectable, we paid $250, I was very upset. I asked for manager she just left was told she would be there in the am . No manager there. We left feeling that we were taken. I believe we were taken. Please respond
- 3/5
Stay was good for the amount you are paying its all good but they should keep the hotel alittle more maintaned restroom curtain bars were rusty because restroom has no fan
- 4/5
Great staff!!! Hotel rooms could use some updating, but overall it satisfied our needs.
- 2/5
We were put in a dirty room that smelled like dog and had a leaking refrigerator. Room 102. Size of room was great, but every hour the train went by and blew its horn. If you stay make sure you are not on the side with the train tracks.
- 5/5
I booked only a few hours before check in and I was very pleased!
- 1/5
Lobby was the only decent room in that building I think. Elevator to go up was missing a button..... Room was appalling... Window was wide open. When we entered, there was an odor that hit my nostrils IMMEDIATELY once the door was opened and not in a good way. There was a HOLE IN THE WALL and looks like they tried to patch it up with tape and then painted over it??? Wild work. And to charge $120.00 for a place like that is absolutely diabolical.... Then to be given a nonchalant apology and not "able to" give us a refund is asinine. -100/10, if you're reading this and have some self respect please just go to the one in Clovis.
- 3/5
Comfort inn way better...
- 1/5
No Gym access, room was completely dirty. My kids pulled a dirty pair of underwear from under the pillow so they gave us a refund as they had no other rooms available. Refund wasn’t approved until I had to talk to them again after cleaning the room myself and buying extra blankets from the store to sleep. Cleanliness was not there.
- 1/5
Not good for families. Seems to be a hot spot for the homeless.
- 3/5
Front desk needs to get costumer service class

Next day we were leaving out to go handle business the room attendant came and we asked her if she was gonna clean the room. She moved on to the next room and rolled her eyes at my mother very rude, very disrespectful We left . When we returned our room was still dirty.we went down talk to staff They made it seem like it was our fault he said it had to be more to the story That's why she didn't clean our room. very unprofessional. The breakfast was great. They just need to work on their staff. The room attendance very rude

- 4/5
Clean room, great breakfast. Great price for overnight stay
- 4/5
The room was OK and it served its purpose as we just needed a place to sleep for the night. It’s just old and kind of rundown. But the stuff was really nice and they had a decent breakfast in the morning so we had a good day.
- 4/5
The laundry room, washing machine steal your money, I speak with the front desk service and she told me with not responsible for those machines...
- 2/5
When we arrived at the property, the clerk who helped him was very rude and not very friendly. The hallway was pretty dirty, including the stairways. Our room was not as nice and there was a lot of things missing like a hairdryer. The continent of breakfast was very minimal. I would not stay at this location again.
- 2/5
Usually, we enjoy our stay at a La Quinta Hotel. But this hotel was different and we could tell it was not as well maintained as others we’ve visited. There was no answer when we called the front desk, only busy signals. Bath towels were missing. There was no hair dryer. The pillows were very flat. But the worst part of our stay were the constant trains that went right by our windows at all hours of the night and day. We asked for a quiet room, but our room couldn’t have been closer to the railroad tracks. In addition, our room was across from the elevator doors. We checked out about 7:15 the next morning.
- 4/5
The breakfast is OK. The parking area is safe.
- 5/5
Hot tub was great, breakfast was amazing. Room was spacious
- 2/5
The hotel felt unsafe and the room was filthy, desk chair had holes, sink was dirty and there were used towels
- 3/5
Breakfast was ok. Parking is fine
- 4/5
Easy parking. Close to grocery store. Mini fridge. Microwave. Enjoyed the in room hot tub! Breakfast was acceptable (oatmeal, cereal, pastries, juice, eggs, sausage/bacon).
- 3/5
Room bed in 219 had a dip on right side. Lots of odd smells, hallways. Elevator. And road construction made for some driving delays.
- 3/5
Breakfast good. Staff was ok. Clean but building is very beaten up. Parking was ok and trashy..
- 3/5
Hot tub looked like a guaranteed yeast infection and the pool looked dirty but the rest of the property was fine other than that there was a train that passes by and definitely isn't the nice when we're trying to sleep overall you get kind of what you pay for it it's kind of cheap but it's definitely not as nice as many other la quintas I have stayed at.

Jacuzzi wasnt working and in fact had dirty water stagnating. Normal pool was dirty. Hot breakfast was just scrambled eggs, oily sausages and the rest was bread and bagel. Rooms were ok-No smart tv though so forget Netflix and chill. Best thing about the hotel was around 4 to 6 free EV charging stations.
- 2/5
Breakfast was available. Room was clean until we found a cockroache in our room. Mentioned it to the front desk. He didn’t apologize and just wrote down our room number and spray next to it. Parking was accessible. Gym was okay.
- 3/5
The photos need serious updating. Everything is a bit old and dingy. The furtinure in the rooms
- 4/5
Room is always clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast, jacuzzi not always working, not heating up. Other than that, nice stay.

The property itself was misrepresented online. The location was not in the best.Area. In addition, I had to have my room changed twice, resulting in a refund due to the cleanliness of the room. One bedroom suite. There were spots on every piece of furniture. There was odors in the room ripped carpets stains on the wall.Very disgusting to say the least. I had to request a full refund and find another hotel .

Room was nice, clean and large with a king bed, L shaped couch, desk, fridge and microwave. Hallways were dirty in need of a good vacuum. Breakfast was ok, decent selection if you get there before 9am. We arrived at 9:02 and kitchen staff had taken most food items back to kitchen. We did get one to unlock the yogurt fridge, but no juice since machine was turned off. Not too much around it to eat at although there was an In-n-Out.
- 2/5
Internet was out for a long period of time. Cleanliness is not what it should be. 1 elevator for the entire building. Staff was not friendly. At this price point there are way better options in other areas of Fresno, particularly in the river park area. I’ll never stay here again.
- 3/5
Just alright

Shower hose was rusty the bathroom, dirty the chair it was all ripped off the refrigerator was dirty the small fridge they got in the room the lamb. The headlight lamp on the table was dirty.

El staff no se preocupan por el servicio estuvimos 20 minutos esperando y nadie aparecia Como que era un hotel fastasma y los cuartos muy sucios olia bien feo a humedo sucio para el precio un muy mal servicio
- 3/5
Hotel itself is old and it shows. I will say the staff was pleasant and the room/sheets were as clean as possible given the general wear and tear on the property itself.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
This property was very nice to stay at it was very quiet and good condition very clean and safe, great for families that are traveling with children, people that are traveling with pets like me , older people that come maybe to have visit to the Dr or maybe just come to visit family, I think it was an amazing experience, and I also was very happy that seven minutes from there it was the mall , where I was able to gin Petco, Marshall’s , Ross , Victoria Secret , Bath and Body Works, Cold Stone and other restaurants so it was definitely a good location I only had to drive like 7 minutes and went there a few times while I stayed there, they also have a Starbucks close by and Carls Jr and other places you can go eat to something fast or restaurant to , so it was nice to get to stay there and go out sometimes. Thank you so much to the staff members specially the old tall man from the front desk he was very kind and helpful, very professional team members.
- 1/5
Room was pretty dirty with an odd smell. Toilet bowl was pretty dirty.
- 1/5
The property from the outside looked okay, but as soon as we stepped into the hallways, elevator, and room it was a completely different story. This property needs a lot of work! However, I will focus on the room(s) alone (we had two). The one I happened to stay in had a piece of chewed gum stuck to the cabinet door containing the mini fridge, this was the second thing I noticed, the first was the smell of uncleanliness. The desk table was broken, the front left leg was bent in and with enough pressure that desk would completely give out. The bed had questionable stains on the bedding, and mattress needed to be replaced as it wouldn’t even hold its shape anymore. The bathroom also smelled dirty and the counter was unclean, most surfaces in the rooms seemed to have gone without cleaning. The accent chair was disgustingly dirty, the art frames on the way were dirty, the smoke detector wasn’t even on or functioning with is definitely out of compliance with the fire code. The place just was not a place my family and I would’ve stayed so we checked out early. We checked in at 3pm and checked out by 5pm because we’d rather keep driving than to stay in a place that clearly feels like your safety and comfort is the last thing it intends to provide.
- 3/5
Tv didn’t work, jacuzzi was cold and broke down, staff didn’t help at all so I had no tv.
- 5/5
It was amazing . Thank you Tim !
- 5/5
Only stayed one night. Was clean, best hot water shower and staff was friendly
- 3/5
Even when we asked for "pool towels" up at front desk..employee gave us towels but did not mention pool was not even open. So we were under the impression pool was available until we actually went out there prepared. Dissapointed.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Room had musty smell. Only stayed 1 night and would have not stayed any longer.
- 1/5
However, the original room was very poorly set up. For example, when you turned off the light, it also turned off the TV. I had to call the help desk, and the staff member walked me through plugging the TV in behind the microwave. This is something that should have already been set up properly and reflects a lack of attention to detail. Additionally, the hot tub and pool area did not appear to be very clean. There should be someone responsible for maintaining that area regularly. We have a hot tub at home, and the cleanliness we saw there did not compare. Another concern was that my wife is very allergic to mold. As soon as we walked into the room, she started having a reaction. We opened the window and avoided running the air-conditioning unit because we didn’t want it circulating anything that might trigger her allergies. After airing out the room and spraying it with Lysol, it became tolerable. Bottom line: if you’re trying to save money and can tolerate a few issues, this hotel may work for you. However, if you’re looking for higher quality and peace of mind, it may be worth spending a few extra dollars for a hotel such as a Holiday Inn, Marriott, or similar brand.

The corridor smells bad; Couch in room is dirty,; elevator is smell ,old and the close-door button is broken.
- 3/5
The hotel was pretty nice. Except the hot tub wasn't working, and the water in it was green. We walked around the block, and the neighborhood was pretty blighted.
- 1/5
My check-in at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fresno Northweset was smooth and the staff contacted me in advance and moved me to what was described as an upgraded room. Sadly, the property itself has significant issues. The hotel is surrounded by construction and industry - on the “bad side of the freeway with a train going thru every hour or so with its horn blaring. All night. Notably the parking lot was poorly lit with people loitering outside. Also from a security perspective the side doors did not lock and the front sliding doors were broken and had to be forced open by the single staff member on duty. It was that way in the morning when we left. the room had over powering mold smell. The bathroom also had visible mold, and the jacuzzi tub leaked water into the carpet area and was moldy. The bed was badly worn with a visible dip in the middle and springs pushing through the topper. After confirming there were no bedbugs as stated in other reviews, we kept our luggage in the car and slept on towels on top of the sheets. The air conditioner was a wall mount and did not cool at all- Even for a budget property, rated a 8 on Orbitz (it’s definite 2) basic safety and maintenance standards should be expected. This location appears to need significant changes and attention now from management. In contacting La Quinta and Wyndham neither state the property is a licensee. People who are staying here seem to be all construction workers where corporate is paying.

Hallways could have been cleaner, & staff member who checked me in, seemed like a 20 something year old could have been friendlier, seemed like he was reading off a script instead of being personable. Other than that it was a good stay.

Booked a spa room for 3 nights for Valentines day weekend. This hotel used to be pretty nice, weve done this the past 3 years, something must have changed because now its dirty and gross. The spa tub was broken, the water was cold and wouldnt get hot just qarm and had such low pressure by the time it would fill about 2 hrs later it was cold, first night luckily they refunded and fixed by the next day but even when hot it still filled too slowly. The bed frame was messed up and i kept hitting my feet and ankles on metal pieces poking out. The first time they cleaned they took away 2 of the 5 pillows so we only had 5 the first night and 3 the other 2 nights. The lamps had stains all over them, the carpet in the room was sticky and gross, the hallway tile by the elevators never got cleaned up the whole time we were there. The corners of the bathroom were dirty not cleaned well, same as the rest of the room, furniture had cracks, the fridge wouldnt stay on because it was plugged into an outlet that only worked when the light was on and wouldnt go to any other outlets. The phone was disgusting and had no cord to the wall for sure anyway. The dresser drawers were broken. All around awful stay except for the staff at the front desk who were always apologetic and kind.

Clean, quiet room.

They never clean the room. We had to find them to get sheets and towels. They charge me for pet fee when I had a service Animal and I showed him the certification. I don’t believe it’s right refund my $294 that they took we’re gonna report it to the BBB.

They never came and cleaned the room and charged me $294 for a dog when I have a service Animal never gave me my money back
- 1/5
The room never got cleaned and then they changed me about $294 for having a service dog and I showed them the certification for my dog and they still have not gave my money back

Firstly, the refrigerator door in our room did not close properly. The sofa was extremely old and dirty. In addition, the shower room ventilation fan was out of order. We requested to change rooms, but our request was not accommodated. This added to our disappointment. Furthermore, the hotel is located next to the railway tracks, and the noise from passing trains was very disturbing throughout the night. Overall, this experience did not meet our expectations.
- 1/5
If you enjoy the feeling of being systematically violated while paying for the privilege, look no further. Stay at this hotel at your own risk. The "ambiance" is a charming blend of a freight train roaring through your head every twenty minutes—whistle included—and the unmistakable, pungent aroma of stale dog and cat urine embedded in the carpet. If you manage to ignore the smell, you can relax in a Jacuzzi filled with water so filmy you’ll leave dirtier than you entered. The real "service," however, starts in the parking lot. After being explicitly told where it was "safe" to park my locked U-Haul, it was promptly robbed. When the police arrived to investigate, the front desk clerk’s contribution to the investigation was a shrug and a literal "I don't know" when asked which guest owned the vehicle. To cap off the incompetence, the staff managed to lose the police officer's contact card. I filled out a guest incident report, which was treated with the same urgency as a piece of literal trash. I received: Zero phone calls. Zero apologies. Zero accountability. Apparently, the management believes that being robbed and ignored is a fair trade-off for a subpar free breakfast. If you want your belongings stolen and your dignity shredded, this is the place for you. Otherwise, keep driving.

I want to start with the staff was amazing. That is why I am giving any stars. The outside looks freshly painted and the lobby is nice. That is where the nice stopped. Stray cats everywhere and some lady comes and feeds them. Smelled cat urine the entire time. Inside the halls were very run down and the rooms were clean looking but everything was stained and shabby. This hotel is not updated or is up kept in a lot of ways. Grateful for somewhere to sleep but the 7.6 stars deceived me. Caution

Breakfast was a neglected , they use too much bleach in the laundry , room 111 toilet running continuously from lack of maintenance , flooring in the hotel rooms need to be steam cleaned or professionally cleaned after you get out of the shower your feet will turn black from the shower to the bed , dog feces, and urine at the entry side walks .

Great!

There was a late night construction going on that was undisclosed. There were piles of new furniture in the lobby. The front desk staff did not let us know what time breakfast was supposed to happen when we got to the room. It looked completely run down. They had very old microwaves, the paneling on the bottom of the walls were falling off. The bed was not made the floors were uneven and had several dips in them. The bathroom smelled heavily of bleach. The Jacuzzi tub had a plastic lid in the tub still so it leads me to believe it was not cleaned. The room was very small and terrible lighting. The shower water was freezing. The door did not lock It looked like it had been kicked in or broken into even the hatch. Lock had to be forced to make sure that the door would stay closed otherwise it could just be pushed open. We were on the first floor. I saw a cockroach come out from behind the microwave stand and we left with no refund just a receipt and a front desk staff that look like he knew what we were gonna say before we said it.

Normally i love staying at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham all over the states because they are the cleanest safest places to stay for my family and I but not this one in Fresno, it really let me down. The bathrooms were dirty hair all over, towels were dirty had dirt all over them and don’t even get me started with the floors they look like they have not been vacuumed or cleaned in weeks. The bed sheets were stained, never again will i stay at this location and dont recommend it at all.
- 5/5
Very comfortable, staff was extremely nice. Looking forward to returning
- 2/5
Cleanliness of room felt neglected. Room also had a stench.
- 5/5
Clean room. Bed was comfortable.
- 4/5
Very limited breakfast, the drink dispenser for the juice and eater was not working so there was no drinks with breakfast. The waiting area infront of the front desk was filled with shipping boxes.
- 5/5
Great place wonderful staff
- 5/5
Very nice hotel friendly & helpful staff. Fun fact a choir kids dream…the acoustics in our high roof room was amazing. Comfy beds lots of tv channels. Good breakfast. Will definitely be back.
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 4/5
There were two rooms with a bed in each room and a common bathroom. There were no chairs to sit in, other than the chair, at the desk. The TV controllers were impossible to operate. I like to watch the morning news and I was not able to do that during this stay.
- 1/5
The hotel smelled a lot like marijuana. The doors from the side entrance and back entrance were not secured so anyone can come in and out. Front desk phone was always busy. The beds were super hard and uncomfortable. The elevator was scary, felt like it was going to break down! Too many things were wrong and I will never book here again!
- 5/5
Overall very nice stay. Room was clean. Staff at the front desk and breakfast area were friendly. One of the most comfortable mattresses I have experienced at a hotel (of any price). It is true that the property is next to the train tracks and you can hear faint sound. But that did not bother any one in my family. Overall great value and an excellent experience.
- 4/5
great breakfast with lots of options.
- 3/5
it's was fine
- 3/5
Rooms are nice but my carpet was disgusting. Spots all over and some of them were sticky! In general, the place needs a good cleaning. Bed comfy.
- 2/5
The room was VERY neglected. Dirty walls, carpet, couch and chair. Bathroom was dirty and gross. Hallways were nasty and there was stuff all over the floors. Felt very dingy and gross
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Thanks for everthing ..
- 3/5
Great customer service!
- 5/5
Front desk lady super nice, also room is very clean feel very safe!
- 4/5
Room counters and headboard needed more attention! I cleaned them myself
- 3/5
Had better had worse.
- 5/5
Me agrado mi estancia, muy recomendable.
- 3/5
Would have given 5 stars BUT, the shower had no soap in the dispensers so i showered 2x! Yes, I didn't bring my own body wash because now hotels have complementary and it's good most places. Outside of this the bedding is " flimsy" they need to give you proper bedding in the winter the bed spread didn't do!! Outside of this it's quiet, the breakfast was decent, and the rooms are nice. They should however check room 105 to check the floor planks! A few need changing
- 4/5
Great value stay.
- 3/5
Felt a little dirty. Weird smell in hallway. Definitely dated.
- 2/5
Everything from the common area to our rooms lacked care, maintenance and cleanliness. The couch/ sofa bed in one of our rooms looked so disgusting that we didn’t dare sitting on it. Every object in both rooms looked as if they came from a thrift store, with scratches and dings all over. Going into the shower and finding out that there wasn’t even a drop of shower jell in the bottle. There were also trash from previous guests underneath one bed.
- 3/5
Clean and nicely designed but walls were so thin and the trains were sooo loud. Bring ear plugs and you will be fine.
- 4/5
I stayed at 5 different places during a 10-day road trip. I don’t remember the details of each place.
- 2/5
Mold in shower, dirty elevator and main hall floors, breakfast crew could not keep up, terrible neighborhood near train tracks, my Maps app took me through dark, back alley streets, etc. I have never written a negative hotel review before. Very sorry.
- 5/5
yes
- 5/5
I was very happy with my stay starting from check-in... They have a little area with snacks, drinks, and hygiene items we often forget that we're reasonably priced:) Beds were comfy and water pressure was good in shower. I will definitely stay again when in the area.
- 1/5
Room very neglected, torn and stain up furniture and carpet. Hair shower. Rooms with door bells and peep holes. In a motel W. T. F is up with that!? One door had a upper and lower peep hole with a door bell. Dirty place.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
They take care of the most important thing to me my cats
- 5/5
clean, friendly staff
- 2/5
Front desk was not helpful and rude
- 1/5
Room was dirty. I requested a change of room and it was worst then the first. In the end I just asked to cancel the stay.
- 1/5
Granted this wasn’t something I knew but the train tracks are right behind this hotel. Since we didn’t use the AC, and opened the window. The train late at night and 5:30 in the morning was crazy loud.
- 4/5
Clean and tidy room. The beds are really firm I would say hard. The elevator was very jerky and when it arrived at the desired floor it gave a little jeck and you felt like you dropped three inches! Breakfast was good, but more attention could have been given to keeping area clean. Loud trains run throughout nite so earplugs are a must
- 1/5
Room was filthy. Hotel in general was dirty. Problems with room key. Lack of help front desk.
- 3/5
Room was good, the guy at the front desk was extremely rude! No reason to act that way.
- 3/5
Gud
- 5/5
Yes, clean room and friendly staff
- 2/5
Needs a lot of work
- 4/5
Clean and spotless room when we arrived and very quiet which makes it 100x better to sleep.
- 5/5
Front desk, housekeeping and breakfast team were all great!
- 2/5
The breakfast and staff were to redeeming factor. Very friendly staff, good selection at breakfast, however, I wish they had normal hot chocolate instead of sugar free.
- 3/5
Fine, not sure the unit was working automatically. The new wall thermostat wasn't on or could used.
- 1/5
Dirty and old property.
- 5/5
The hot tub was cold and dirty, unusable. Pool was ok. Room was hreat
- 5/5
Evryting OK
- 4/5
Room was quiet and spacious.
- 5/5
Facility clean and safe.
- 1/5
Extremely dirty and run down looking. Hot tub was cold, broken and disgusting. I wouldn’t stay there again
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay
- 2/5
Hotel manager just deferred to this being a 3rd party purchase and offer no support other than a refund.
- 1/5
Everything looked bad floors really really dirty
- 3/5
There was a large group in the parking lot having a party (bbq, loud music, tents and chairs) along with a litter box by the elevator on our floor. Pull out sofa needs to be replaced. Patched holes in the wall.
- 3/5
Need attention to the cleaning in public area including hallways and elevator
- 4/5
Good price but no so clean
- 3/5
bathtub drain clogged, toilet water ran continuously, electric in bathroom was dead. Breakfast food was not very good, hotel staff was eating at the same time and place where the guests were eating..
- 2/5
/////!!!!!///?????
- 5/5
Room was clean. Breakfast was great with many options.
- 4/5
Room was clean and very quiet. Elevator is terrifying with the floor all chewed up and dangerous looking. All in all, just needs to update some things. There is major construction going on in the area but you don't hear it at all.
- 3/5
Pool and jacuzzi were very dirty. Elevator floor was all broken with visible nails and staples exposed, major safety hazard. Carpet in room 219 was very dirty. Carpet was vacuumed however very dirty smell and feel.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Ok
- 1/5
Smells bad
- 3/5
Decent hotel surrounded by road construction. 4 block detour to get into lot. Room clean, but corridors and elevator not. Good place to walk dog. Exterior areas lots of poop. Would not return
- 2/5
Furniture was cracked and in need of repair. Pictures on the wall were always crooked, and the cleaning staff never seemed to notice! The front desk is advertised as open 24/7 and it was NOT! I attempted to get in touch with the front desk for 2.5 hrs, and it just rang& rang, and then got a busy signal! I even called the national 800 reservations to see if they could get through to the front desk, and they couldn’t get through either! NOT a good experience and I will never stay at La Quinta again! VERY disappointing!
- 3/5
Near train rail so it’s a bit noisy. Room smells
- 2/5
friendly staff but the property is rough, had bed bugs in the first room the gave me. moved me to a different floor but still nitna great stay.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel.
- 1/5
Dirty, elevators falling apart
- 3/5
Breakfast was terrible
- 4/5
property not in very good shape
- 3/5
La Quinta has always been a property I’ve enjoyed staying at, but this particular location will cause me to rethink choosing them in the future. First, let me say the staff is very friendly and customer oriented. When we arrived for our stay and walked into our two room suite the room was in poor condition. The couch was worn and had stains all over it. The air conditioner looked broken but was working despite its appearances. The curtains, carpet and furniture looked worn out. I was ready to find other accommodations as this was an anniversary trip. We went to the front desk and the gentleman explained that they were in the middle of renovations but offered me to go look at a room that had been recently renovated. Although it was not the suite I had booked it was in much better condition. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast tasty. When considering this location keep in mind that it is an older hotel, it’s near railroad tracks and is an active railway. The most frustrating thing was the road construction going on at night making it difficult to find your way into the hotel. We drove around for almost an hour our first evening trying to get to our hotel. I told the front desk that a sign was needed between the Chevron and Shell gas stations at W Shaw Ave. and N Barcus Ave. La Quinta can only be accessed off N Golden State Blvd. I was also unprepared for the smell of pot outside and inside the hotel and the gentleman who was vomiting outside below our window at 3 am.
- 2/5
The outside of the hotel was great! However, once you leave the lobby area it was dirty walls. It’s only one elevator and when the door opened I was afaird to walk in. It is totally disgusting. I use the stairwells instead of the elevator since I was on the second floor. The wooden furniture in the beer room has fallen apart or all beat up the furniture in the bedroom, chairs and sofas. The material is falling off or shredding. The water in the sink would not go down the hotel really needs a true makeover with new furniture installed new floors installed and definitely a new elevator.
- 5/5
Good enough overall
- 4/5
Pretty good place to stay in Fresno. Need to get the bathrooms more renovated and cleaned
- 1/5
Noisy Male front desk person gave misinformation 3x about times for breakfast !! Unable to walk to Forestiere underground gardens as advertised..had to move to another room noise from kitchen and trains next to building..not happy campers at all!!!
- 5/5
I felt the pool could have been cleaner and there shouldn’t be any smoking allowed within the pool area. You could smell cigarette smoke. I asked for no smoking because I have a smash.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Good place for work travel for construction crew
- 2/5
Clean room but bed’s uncomfortable pillows were like stuffed towels smelled like mold. Elevator looked so bad thought it was not going to work floor was tore up and tiles lifting up scary looking like twilight zone . Breakfast was messy and ran out of things and taste was average didn’t even want to take photos that is how I felt
- 1/5
While my husband was waiting for us to check in outside, he saw at least four roaches. There was missing flooring in the elevator up to our bedroom. Once I got to our room, there was dirt all over both doors, including the front door and the bathroom door. I opened up the bathroom and there was something splattered on the back of the bathroom. There was a couple that I’m pretty sure were on drugs because they kept coming in and out of their bedroom and went downstairs to the lobby. We ended up canceling our whole entire Reservation because we did not feel safe and it felt extremely dirty.
- 5/5
Chill
- 3/5
Hotel was nice and in a good location but was surrounded by construction and literally right next to a train. Pool was nice, but very overfilled when we went in. Breakfast was nice with great options. Staff was friendly whenever we ran into them. Hotel itself needs some TLC. Multiple leaking spots in ceiling on different floors. Multiple spots across hotel need new carpet. The only elevator had cracks in the linoleum and made it look very sketchy to ride on. Was very surprised that the windows were not more sound proof being next to a train track, we heard every train that went by for 24 hours, including at 1 and 3 AM.
- 4/5
Rooms smells like humidity
- 4/5
The bed was a little uncomfortable and AC was covered by black lace really didn't feel air. But everything else was good 👍
- 5/5
clean room comfortable bed, some construction across the street
- 3/5
Temporary issue due to road work
- 5/5

- 2/5

- 4/5
It is a pretty new building , the sound insulation is bit weak , but the breakfast is nit bad .
- 5/5
Very clean and a friendly staff
- 1/5
The Hotel looked renewed from the outside, however the inside and the rooms were terrible, bathroom discussing old furniture is not a problem, however they were old and broken, I felt like I was mislead.
- 4/5
Bed was uncomfortable. Firm but you can tell uneven. Firm but with a pillow top would have been better. Saw a small roach. A/c was older but still worked. No fan in bathroom so after shower everything including the floow was wet. Other than that it served it's purpose as a stop over night. We have been to other La Quintas and they were much better.
- 3/5
Staff and location was good, plenty of food options close, including an awesome taqueria cart a block away. Okay, now bad, hotel needs some maintenance and was a little dirty. Elevator floor was tore up. Room was dirty. Hopefully they can make the repairs and scrub this place down, because everything else was fine.
- 5/5
Great Service !
- 1/5
I paid for rooms with double beds and when I got there they had already been given to someone else, I paid for something I didn't reserve.
- 2/5
Well understanding that the property is having construction on the outside of the building unfortunately the inside of the building was also a disaster with sticky floors doors that don't close especially to your hotel room as well as AC not being appropriate and non-working
- 4/5
The hotel needs some touching up. The elevator floor is cracking and the walls look banged up.
- 5/5
I loved the property and the stay. Thank you
- 1/5
The staff was nice, but everything was really dirty, not just the room, it was everything. The walls, the floor, the furniture. It was so uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Road work

Not so much dirty but it's definitely moldy . Very hard to breathe
- 5/5

Lawd have mercy! Completely hotel catfished ! We drove from out of state for a funeral. Arrived late after trying to find the hotel with alll the construction im front. I l notified them I would be arriving late. (we drove 17 hrs) nobody in the lobby or front desk. I waited and finally someone showed and he had an attitude because I asked him if he worked there. I have mobility issues & requested a bottom floor but was still out on the top floor. I got one key/one coffee pod/1 set of towels for 2 people. I was so exhausted and tired I shrugged it off. Got in bed and started to doze off and then CHOOCHOO I swear to god I felt like I was in the movie Polar Express because the train tracks are right behind the hotel and you can hear every wheel and every car shaking. The whole room lit up and was shaking! It was so loud it jolted me out of bed! I was like what the.. the trains began around 3-4 am and continued all night ! After getting like 2 hrs sleep I made my way to the lobby to get coffee because I only had enough for one person and there was 2 of us and the coffee was empty so I waited for more to come out, I checked to see what they had for breakfast since they advertised a continental breakfast. Y’all they had these disc egg things with sausage and one waffle maker and a juice machine that was out of order! I got my coffee and stumbled my sleep deprived self back to the room and went to get ice for my water, the ice machine was broken ! Yallllll catfished!!!
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
the whole access is under construction feels like hotel need remodel after mess of construction is completed
- 4/5
The hotel is nice. Its just the area around it is under construction and its right next to the train tracks so you will hear the train once to twice a day. It didnt really bother us. The hotel is located in a good location safety wise. The staff were nice. The breakfact was good.
- 3/5
hotel is surrounded by a construction zone. bed was comfortable.
- 2/5
I don't know how that works. I hope I did not bring them home.
- 4/5
It is unfortunate that the facility management is lax. The hallways and carpets need to be cleaned.
- 5/5
The breakfast was good. As for the staff, the room, and other facilities, they were great! Much appreciated. I would stay there again any day.
- 1/5
I originally booked for 4 days and 3 nights and when I got to the hotel, I decided to only stay 1 night and cancel the rest of my reservation. The hotel was dirty, trash bags with trash and roaches all over the outside of hotel. The hallway leading to my room smelt of urine and then later that night the whole hallway on the 3rd floor smelt like someone smoking pot. The AC did not work well and the light and vent in the bathroom was not working and the bed was uncomfortable. The furniture was torn and the refrigerator was not cool at all and was turned up to 7. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and will never go back.
- 1/5
The rooms were musty, the beds were hard, the pool was green and cloudy with no lights, the hot tub was freezing cold. The front desk lady was nice and courteous though.
- 1/5
We have called the hotel twice because one of our rooms had bed bugs. We were promised a manager and no one had gotten back to us. One of our kids was eaten alive
- 3/5
Construction in the directly neighboring area, and hotel itself was in a state of disrepair, from the elevators to the rooms. Neighboring Freight Train sounded its horn near midnight. Signage lies (no ice or vending on 2nd floor, despite what the signs say).
- 5/5
Helpful and nice
- 5/5
Liked it
- 5/5
I like this hotel because it’s very quiet around that area
- 3/5
Room doesn’t have phone to call the front desk, room upstairs are loud room upstairs kid running early in the morning round 4am could not sleep. Wifi is ok key card ; is horrible we didn’t know, the card will de-activate if your phone next to the key card something like that, this is the 1st time happened to me to all hotels I have been booked and when i ask the front desk to replace the card he sounds mean, hes not friendly. I feel he doesn’t want to do extra work. Breakfast: food are okay, but orange juice machine are broken, no milk for the kids, only thing we have is lemon water taste okay. Oh coffee is cold and tastes watery, I can’t taste coffee flavor more on water. Overall: Just okay
- 1/5
2.) hotel key kept being deactivated 3.) smoke alarm kept randomly going off 4.) terrible hospitality from housekeeping
- 3/5
It was ok , was to shower and sleep. Drive again the next morning
- 5/5
I liked how staff was very attentive, answered all my questions, and was there to help. The breakfast was great, pool and hot tub were the best, the workout room was the best!!
- 4/5
Quiet, easy online check-in and out.
- 3/5
Not a great experience with staff being rude. Keys got demagnetized often. Breakfast was not at par with usual inns
- 1/5
I have reported the issue to the Expedia customer support with photos of the room. Also left a message in the property chat as well for the records. I reserved a King Suite (2 room) in advance and payed upfront. After driving for 6+ hours with family for a recreational trip, when we entered the room, we immediately noticed that room was dirty and disgusting, it had sticky white material on the carpet and sofa bed, which looked very suspicious. I took pictures and showed to the front desk person on duty and requested cleaning or room change. But the front desk person was extremely rude and unprofessional. He stepped away and went to the back room by saying that he had other things to do and couldn’t help until morning when supervisor would be available, meaning my kids need to sleep on that disgusting sofa bed for the night. Extremely disappointed.
- 4/5
The area is not great, but not sure what to expect in Fresno. There was a lot of construction around it so it was a little hard to get to. The elevator was a little rough too.
- 4/5
Great.
- 2/5
Easy highway access for travel. Room was definitely older and small. Lots of stains on the carpet. Air system had a musty smell and exposed wires. Phone didnt even work? Not that i use the phones in hotels but even if i did, no dice there. Service was more like "what do you want?" Than "welcome"
- 2/5
The staff does not prioritize customer privacy, housekeeping will walk in on you and the staff was not friendly or helpful in anyway. The only thing good about this place is the location and the cleaning, I got a suite with jacuzzi tub, the room was decent, but I won’t stay there again.
- 3/5
No clean table, they need to clean the table in between customers Room consider clean, not spacious Homeless seems utilized the restroom regularly need to talk to the city to help them out so they not coming to the property The bed is Ok, overall you get what you pay!
- 4/5
The floor in the elevator was coming off. Needs renovations but overall good and cheap
- 3/5
Room old and musty. Bathroom faucet broken, air conditioning unit in disarray. Property in need of some major TLC. Definitely not a 3 star property as advertised. Definitely a two star.
- 3/5
The facility is pretty old. The room was ok clean.
- 5/5
Very clean, room very spacious. Highly satisfied.
- 5/5
The property is decent. Nicely maintained interiors and clean as well. The location is close to railroad. At times it can get noisy when train passes by. Close to alot of good places
- 4/5
Service at front desk excellent
- 4/5
Last minute stay Family business Elevator dirty not cleaned Room nice Bed slightly uncomfortable
- 3/5
La quinta was your average stah with basic amenties for anyone that will not be a hanging out in the hotel. The room smelled veey musty and a bit like cigarettes tjough it was non smoking. The furniture was stained , the elevator was extemely unpleasent with a poor smell , we saw some roaches alive and dead. Front desk was fairly pleasant , but i did want to note the older gentleman was such a gem .It did the job for us to rest our head at night and leave for the whole day.
- 5/5
Excellent service, accommodations and breakfast.
- 2/5
Clean up and do the repairs properly they literally had staples holding down the floor in the elevator no signs in elevator for inspections and upkeep the carpet was ripped and unraveling breakfast was ridiculous should’ve just served nothing only good thing about this place is the staff
- 5/5
Was yelled at by the front desk staff when i qrrived. Cracks elevator and tule floorshot tup onthe 2nd night had No heat. Was told that maintenance wont be back on shift until Tuesday. There is a ice machine sign on the 2nd floor but no ice machine. Juice machine only ran lemonade ans water fron the other 3 flavors. Stay away. Motel 6 would have been a major upgrade
- 5/5
It’s was an amazing stay everyone was so attentive and helped me with everything that I needed! Tim and Edgar was amazing! Can’t wait to stay there again.
- 3/5
