Overall a nice place to stay. Quiet and clean with helpful staff. The Continental breakfast is adequate but could benefit from more frequent cleaning of counters, tables and equipment between guests. They are supposed to clean your room every 3rd day but I had to ask someone directly on the 5th day to get clean sheets and towels. I stayed a total of 8 nights but when I asked for a late check out I was told I would have to pay an additional fee. Seemed a bit rude.

Breakfast was decent with eggs and sausage - happy to see protein! However it was randomly stocked… The pool was TINY! At first I thought it was a large hot tub. Super disappointing - deceptive photo on the booking site. The hot tub was gross and dingy and small as well. Friendly staff. Overall, this might be worth $95/ night… not more.

Stayed at the Comfort Inn for the Desert Gravel Bike Rave. The hotel was clean and conveniently located.

Not one of the better Comfort Inns we’ve stayed at but not too bad. Our room had a couple maintenance issues that should have been addressed but didnt affect our stay. Tub spout was loose, baseboard trim missing.

The property has a lot of the amenities that make a stay pleasant but with the ice machines continually breaking, pool and hot tub only accessible part of the time, back door keypad broken, window screen on room windows not secured, it’s going to get a bad reputation.

The main reason for my mediocre review is that our room was pretty noisy. Cars in the parking lot were very sparse, yet we had a person next to us that we could hear their TV late at night. Additionally, we were assigned a room right by the lobby and laundry room. Around 3 am, we could hear what we assumed was the staff doing very loud tasks. It seems like they could do better at spacing out the rooms, and assigning rooms away from workers when it seemed that they had plenty of available rooms.

Poorly maintained. Bed mattress sagged to the middle. TV was not high def. Door to bathroom rubbed against the floor.

My family and I stopped in for a night as we were passing through town, we really enjoyed our stay, the breakfast and service was amazing.

The only it really issue is I had a 3 o’clock check-in time but they weren’t ready till 430. I called to see if I can get in early at 1 o’clock with a side of an early charge but do I get a discount for for a late check-in?

Walkable dining options good place to stop on your way through.

We stay here every year on our way home from Arizona. It’s not a palace, but we’re not looking for one. The place just seems run down. The area around the desk and hallways are fine, but the room needs attention. The painters and drywall workers need to be fired, and the cleaning personnel could use some training. But the breakfast was the worst. There were no eggs, no sausage, no potatoes, no bananas, no spray for the waffle maker, and no waffles batter. The lady from the dining room left with some food on a plate, and when she returned she brought out more bananas. That’s it. We will not be returning next year.

First, the TV was unplugged. I asked the front desk if there was a reason for this, there wasn't. I moved a very heavy piece of furniture (with the microwave & fridge inside) to plug the TV in, by myself. Second, there was a lot of noise! Not humans, not road sounds, it was like heavy equipment moving around (all NIGHT!) in the walls & ceiling! Third, they put a $30 "hold" on my credit card for incidentals. I left the room better than I found it & was still charged the $30 deposit fee without an explanation! Fourth, the shower was awful. The little deal you pull up to switch water from the bathtub fill to shower head only went about 1/2 way, rendering the shower head water pressure very weak. Fifth, the hot tub was a nasty bubble bath - even after the staff put an anti-foaming agent in. No thanks. They need to do better, I'll find another place to stay next time.

This hotel charged our credit card $100 for security deposit in a PRE PAID stay. As my traveling partner used a separate credit card — this was $200 to be held for two weeks or more. On the way back through Grand Junction we found a nice nearby hotel, that charged ZERO parking and had a modest and more reasonable $30 security hold on a credit card. Can’t recommend this hotel any more.

Staff was great, very helpful and pleasant. Room is very nice, clean and spacious.

The towels were small. We found a dirty baby bottle under the bed. The ironing board broke and would not close. The internet was hard to access and was off and on the entire three days. The pool was closed. However, the front desk staff were very nice.

The room was clean and even though we had to change to a different room because of plumbing issues it was right across the hallway and an even nicer suite was our replacement room. I would stay here again based on this visit. It was quiet too-away feom traffic noise and Starbucks is right across the road!

The lady at check in was nice, friendly and helpful as was the gentleman at check out. Recently we've stayed at many hotels this had the worst breakfast at only 8 am. Over done eggs, potatoes, bacon watered down OJ. Not the best place to stay.

The place could really use a little TLC. It smelled old and looked old. The bedding was ripped and paper thin. The soap and lotion dispensers in the room were so dirty and looked moldy. The pool room air was so thick with chemicals that it was uncomfortable. Using the hot tub jets caused an unpleasant frothy slimy situation.

My reservation was not found resulting in me having to purchase a room. However, Hotels.com did not refund me.

The not-so-good - I'm not sure if it's because we booked through Expedia or not, the room was not in a good location as it was right next to one of the utility stacks. Showers being taken nearby on our floor as well as the floor above us created a lot of noise in the room. Additionally, the cabinet housing the fridge had a harmonic vibration that was noisy whenever the compressor ran. The bed and pillows were only OK, and all of the furnishings were a bit tired as you might expect from an aging hotel. It's generally a noisy location, which is out of the hands of the hotel. Overall, it was about value for the price and a place to sleep and have a light breakfast before moving on.

Everything was good except you had to keep logging on the internet too often. The entry into the room was awfully narrow and the bathroom wasn’t very roomy. The room was clean and a comfortable bed. I liked the nonslip mat on the tub floor with a grab bar. The painting of the room could use a professional to do it. It was done sloppily and it could use an update. Overall, the staff was very nice and the maintenance man was nice and helpful.

The room was filthy and disgusting. We changed rooms and the second was not much better. There was a terrible smell, ripped and stained bed covers and unclean bathroom. I didn’t feel comfortable enough to unpack our suitcases. The breakfast was terrible, they threw overcooked sausage patties in with breakfast potatoes. I told staff about my concerns and they were not interested.

Our room had way too much furniture pieces in it! Large pieces. It made our room feel cramped. Will not be staying there again.

Got 3 rooms and 6 guests. My Room was clean but a bit run down. Had loud noises outside window at about 5am lasting about 30 minutes! You get what you pay for was the sentiment of all.

Good value and location. Updated room. Fairly good breakfast. The air conditioning was very loud, and it was difficult to sleep through the endless cycles of noisy cool spells alternating with warm quiet times.

Hotel room was dirty. There was feces stuck at the bottom of the toilet bowl as if they do not brush the toilets. The complimentary shampoo was completely empty. The bed sheets had stains on them. When I informed the front desk the next morning, they indicated they would have the room completely serviced. Came back that night and nothing had been done except for the pillows had been fluffed. Will never stay at this location ever again.

Good location The booking.com reservation was a problem. The hotel night clerk claimed they could not include the three rooms in one charge to booking.com. Then when I checked out they told me they were changing my personal credit card for one of the rooms. It took me nearly two months to resolve the issue. Booking.com indicating the payment was made and the hotel saying it wasn’t.

The property is well taken care of BUT, even though the hotel is a non smoking property, someone around us was smoking. The smoke was so bad, that my husband and I ended up being sick all night. When I went to the desk, they were sympathetic, but were not able to place us in another room because they were full. When I checked out I was told to email the manager which I did 4x's and have yet to hear back. I have the correct address and checked to see if the smoke was coming from outside. Which is wasn't! I was also told that we were the only room that complained. I want my money back! Until that happens I will make sure that everyone knows about how little they care about their guests!

Staff was slow no hot coffee ready on both days & not very friendly. Property was quite and in walking distance of good food. Comfy mattress overall we would book again.

Quiet town and a good place to say

Looks to have been recently updated and had a few quirks with the bathroom door not shutting due to a high spot in the floor. Shower picket not completely operational when switching to the shower mode. Water ran out of spicket and shower head.

Have stayed at this hotel twice due to pet friendliness. Check in and out was friendly and quick both times. I did not have breakfast, but it smelled amazing. Beds are comfortable, pillows could use updating, bathroom was clean. Noise level was acceptable. I have 4 stars b/c even though it is pet friendly, a lot of high touch, high visibility areas were splattered with what I guess is dog slobber and “whatnot.” Overall, We were comfortable and so was our pet.

Horrible property. Skip it. I booked on Expedia and was told I could cancel, I had an emergency and tried to cancel OVER a week in advance and they would not give me a refund. Even Expedia has tried to get me a refund, with no luck. Bad, bad service.

Room 226 smelled damp. Hotel staff was unable to offer another pet friendly room because they were fully booked. Tile floors were not mopped, the bottom of our slippers turned black. Fridge barely cooled and freezer was frosted over. Shower faucet was loose, so water could not be turned on fully to showerhead. Water noise was extremely loud. Bathroom fan barely worked. Breakfast food was cold and the toaster burnt the bread. Overall, a very poor experience. We will not stay at this hotel in the future.

I'm glad we only had to stay one night. The room smelled terribly of mildew, the walls looked like they had been painted over about 37 times. Bathroom fan sounded like a dying animal. The bed was comfy, pillows were no better than an empty pillowcase as far as support. So incredibly overpriced for such a room! Will never stay here again.

The only negative was that the hot tub jets were not working. I let the front desk staff know, but it was 7:30pm at night and there was no way they would be able to get it fixed that night, which is understandable. Clean, comfortable room, easy access from the parking lot. Very adequate if you are traveling through on a road trip. Price was excellent. Close to downtown for dining or you could choose one of the restaurants right near the hotel. I recommend the Reckless Brewing Company just a couple of miles away You could hear the guests walking about in the room above.

First they gave us a room that had someone in it- we walked in to have people in there, then got a room with a non working toilet and had to switch rooms again. Hotel is not dirty but I wouldn’t say it’s clean either - housekeeping can do better

Apparently I did not specify that I had a dog so when I got here they refused my stay as they did not have any pet rooms available. The did let me know that Super 8 had one available, so we stayed there.

Property was in a nice area of town, walking distance to a lot of restaurants, front desk lady was friendly, breakfast was decent. Was overcharged, paid for room 2x, manager was rude and unhelpful told us that it wasn’t his problem. Room was very small, pool was cold despite the add stating that it was heated and it was small. Had a guest come up to my room from downstairs to complain that I was walking and running to hard and I was giving him a headache. Not a very pleasant experience.

The checkin staff was friendly and helped direct us to the Mexican restaurant next door, which turned out to be great. We were only at the hotel for the evening and left right after an early breakfast, which was pretty good/ standard hotel breakfast.

The room service was not the best, they did not clean my room and had to empty my own garbage's and request towels more than once. The pool was also closed half of the time. Rooms have very thin walls could hear doors opening/shutting all night and toilet ran water all day. Would not stay there again.

Room was clean but the toilet was not working. Maintenance addressed the issue and was a partial fix. The next day it wasn't working again. I asked check out clerk to perhaps adjust our rate for our inconvenience and was told only his manager could assist. Not an acceptable answer. I won't be staying there again.
