Nice place to stay. Easy to get to. It was clean and well kept. Hot tub was OTS but the indoor pool was good.

Decent road stop but the breakfast options are subpar. Manage expectations.

The A C in my room was loud and didn't have a grid on it to direct the air upward. I contacted Wyndham and they are going to work with the location.

This motel was strictly just ok. It certainly could use a refresh. The man at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. I unfortunately didn’t get his name. Location is great and several places you can walk to for something to eat or drink. Beds were very comfortable. Great for spending the night after traveling all day. The main reason I booked here was because it advertised a hot tub. Unfortunately it wasn’t working when we stayed.

Good stay. Room clean and items worked. Location was good for access to food, businesses and to highway. Room expense was competitive . Stayed 10 days visiting grandkids. No issues.

Very old and in dire need of a remodel and update. Carpet is very old and dirty and the beds are completely worn out. I’ve stayed in Fruita many times and this is the worst property by far. The hot tub was out of order and looks like it’s been down for a while. Avoid if you can. It’s the bottom of the barrel in this town for sure!

I never give reviews but had to give one for our stay. Room was dusty, looks like whoever cleaned it only dusted the top of the nightstands, everything else was covered throughout the room. Bathroom door handle was falling off, Hot tub was only open for one night and was under maintenance for the rest of our stay, pool was cloudy and slightly green(we never swam in it), air conditioner was so rattly and loud had to sleep with earbuds in but it did keep the room cool, thankfully the staff was friendly and helpful.

It was great. I didn’t have any issues. Easy access to the Colorado National Monument.

We were charged an incident fee of $30 and it wasn't supposed to be charged. It's on our statement. We will definitely be looking into this.

Breakfast was better than I thought it would be - waffle-maker, yogurt, peanut butter, and fresh fruit made for a pretty good breakfast. Pool was nice and warm - almost as warm as the hot tub. Not the cleanest pool I've been in - but not the dirtiest. Overall, met our needs for a night, but probably wouldn't come back.

Found bugs in the first room, they said they would clean it and that didn't happen. They moved us to a new room and the carpet was so dirty we asked for a vacuum to clean it ourselves. When I checked out and told the front desk about our experience they did not offer a discount or refund. Also, breakfast was a very minimal continental breakfast, not worth it. Will not be staying here again!

Breakfast area is very small not much seating very tight space for worker keeping items full to customers getting there breakfast and there are not very many items for real fast will stay in grand junction Colorado next time at a different motel chain!

This hotel, while somewhat clean, could use renovations. The mattress was old and lumpy, the air unit was dirty, the carpet was stained and dirty, and the hallways were uncomfortably hot. The staff was kind and helpful, and overall it was fine for the one night we stayed.

Stayed in room 102. Vehicle backed into space in front of room about 3:30 am was woken up by a vehicle idling. Smelt an odd odor in room and figured out that the exhaust from the vehicle was entering our room from the A/C heater wall unit. Eyes and throat on fire. Got dressed checked on wife. Went outside to talk to the vehicle owner and vehicle left before I could talk to the driver. Went and talk to the night shift worker. She apologized. Nothing else. So I opened the hotel window, room door and turned on fan in bathroom. After 30 minutes odor carbon monoxide from the exhaust of the vehicle, cleared out of room. Notified dayshift worker tried to submit a concern. Complaint no response from management. They could’ve had two dead people in their room. If I did not hear the vehicle running. Close to the border of Utah and a national park. Good road stop with gas stations and fast food nearby.

I was not given the room I reserved. It was late at night and I didn’t have the energy to contest it. The person at the front desk didn’t tell me there was a change. It was disappointing not to get what you reserved and prepaid and not be told of the change at check in.

We appreciated the hot tub and pool very much! the staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was quiet, good dark out curtains, AC was perfect, allowing us to change the temperature as we needed. We were allowed to bring our bikes in for safe keeping which was very important to us. One lamp in the room did not work, the person at the desk wrote it down immediately to get it fixed . highly recommend this hotel.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and lumpy. Pillows were also Lumpy. The fact of bed was so lumpy to me is very clear that the mattresses are extremely old. I appreciated the sheet being cleaned and bleach but at the same time I have asthma and they started getting really bad headache

Parking was safe and convenient

Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. They even called me 2 days later and let me know I accidentally left my wedding ring in the room. I have never had this experience at any other hotel. Usually if you forget something in a hotel room, it’s gone forever! I appreciate the honesty and can’t thank you enough for mailing the ring back to me! Would highly recommend staying here!

We had a comfortable stay. Our room was very clean. Location is near attractions and amenities. Unfortunately the pool was closed as was the hot tub on the following day. Would stay again.

The only thing of note is that the air conditioner isn’t super strong and possibly because the room is larger it doesn’t get very cold. I feel all super 8s have bad ACs, it’s just unfortunate when it’s getting really hot out and the room just stays at around 67 degrees.

This Super 8 does what it needs to, and no more. My room had 2 Queen beds, bathroom, microwave, refrigerator and TV with cable channels. The parking is easy and the free breakfast adequate. The guys at the front desk were helpful (one fixed my TV because someone had disconnected it and I didn't want to troubleshoot it). I was asked if my room had been okay, which I appreciated. In fact, the cleanliness of the room left something to be desired - sticky handprints were on a mirror, appliances, and even the phone, and the sink drained very slowly.

When i first walked in the stench if the room was horrible, I checked the filter on the ac/heat unit it was caked withfilth . I quickly washed it. Stains on curtains. Doors scratched up. This use to be one of my favorite plaves to stay ,its sad to say we won't stay here the next time we're in town.

Our room smelled very bad and it didn't go away despite us running the AC and bathroom fan constantly. The floors were quite dirty, this was a shoes-on room. The covers (not the sheets) had stuff on them that indicated they needed washing. The walls had junk all over them. Either someone had a food fight or a fist fight or this has accumulated over many guest visits and its kinda gross. The sink needs a renovation. Mold was growing under the fake crystal handle and a dark red rust accumulating was by the drain. It was also cracked. The tub was backing up leaving us showing with our feet in a pool of water. The toilet was also running slowly when we arrived and eventually stopped flushing. We had to ask them to come try to plunge it to get it working again. Breakfast was slightly nicer than most continental breakfasts. Yogurt, fruit, toast, juice, and waffles. We probably won't be back because of the state of our room. It was not a very comfortable stay.

The stay was fine, the main issue was my key card stopped working on my room door. It worked fine on the outside doors but I had to get new ones. Then it stopped working again the next day on the room. Could have been the card reader on that particular room. Thankfully I didn't stay longer to get another one made.

Got in late. Left early. Not much of a breakfast. I grabbed a small cup of coffee and got on the road. Desk clerk at intake didn't make me feel welcomed. Still, the room was clean, bed comfortable, and nice and quiet!

Location It is very dirty! We received no services in the four days we stayed. Breakfast choices were terrible and we ended up never eating anything.

Fire alarm started beeping at 140 AM. Staff could not solve. Made me switch to new. Room. Manager would not offer anything for this complete failure. You get a hotel to sleep. They did not give me this service and refused to to offer any customer service. Complete failure. Will never ever stay here again. Wow unbelievable!!!!!!!!!

I did not use this, and I think it was under repair. Generally speaking the place needs to be updated, the breakfast offerings were dismal at best.

The hotel looked clean, superficially, but we got attacked by BED BUGS! I have 15 bites over my body like the ones in the photo, on top of that we had to thoroughly wash all clothes, clean out our car with a thorough vacuuming so as not to contaminate a friends home and ours. A big hassle.

Room was not clean when we checked in for a two night stay. We informed the front desk and they ensured us it would be cleaned at the next opportunity. It was not. We had to borrow a vacuum cleaner to get rid of the toenail clippings on the floor from the previous guest. I also had to wipe up an unknown white stain from the wall next to the bed and side table. Even if it had been properly cleaned, it desperately needs to be gutted. The carpet and all the caulk is disgusting, lighting and design are terrible, and the bathroom fan doesn't work. Overall, not where you want to spend your money.

The dragon treasure Chinese restaurant, one block away, was phenomenal. Very well priced. Super quick, hot and fresh. Just hoping for a reasonable breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Probably the best Super 8 I've stayed at over 30 years. I didn't like the"deposit" for damages but they claim it is necessary because of abuses. It is supposed to be refunded automatically - hope so.

Carpet and bathrooms could use a renewal, very old and worn. The caulking around the bathtub was black. Mattress was like sleeping on concrete and ply wood but it did the job for one night stop on our trip.

Was not worth the cost. Carpet disgusting stains everywhere. Had to move night stand when I dropped something, looked it had mot been vacuumed in a really long time. Bathroom don't get me started I think a refund is in order

Walking into our room we were greeted with a clogged toilet with someone’s “stuff” still inside. We contacted the front desk and the only solution she offered was for us to come get a plunger and fix it ourselves. She stated there wasn’t anyone on site that could take care of it and there wasn’t another room we could move to. Asked for a refund and she stated that only the owner could offer that and he was “out of town”. So basically we had to plunge someone else’s feces in order to stay in our room. Not sure how this gets by the cleaning staff and then not rectified by other personnel once brought to their attention.

Overall the room was ok. It was very dated and had a musty smell.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Property is well kept and clean. I didn't use the pool. The breakfast area is clean and pretty well stocked- seems like more so on certain days, but not a big deal. They provide trash cans everywhere inside and outside so people won't just throw trash in common areas. The parking is good, and I saw them walking the lot and picking up trash outside every day. The cable TV went out one morning, but didn't seem like it was anything the staff could do and it came back by 7am. My room was a little more beat up than the other rooms I have stayed in. The screen was bent, the cover on the A/C controls was broken and had a sharp edge, so I took it off. They used to have an extra table in the room, to put stuff on and this is the second time it's been missing. I'm not sure if they got rid of the extra table in the King bed rooms, but I wish they would put it back. The recliner chair was missing the reclining lever. I didn't need it but someone else might. The room was clean and everything else worked and aside from the noisy family upstairs, it was quiet. None of these small issues were a deal breaker, I will stay there again next summer :) The location is perfect for biking and restaurants and a short drive to anything else you might want. The mexican restaurant across the street is really good and there is fast food walking distance if the kids don't like real food.

Then, she said, "OH, GOOD, I CAN SELL THIS ROOM TONIGHT!" I immediately protested that she would have the audacity to sell a room with a non-functioning toilet and bathtub drain to some unsuspecting traveler! She then picked up the phone to call the maintenance man, who "was on his day off." My husband and I walked out of the Super 8 asking ourselves, "WHY HADN'T SUPER 8's MANAGER PICKED UP THE PHONE THAT MORNING TO ENSURE OUR ROOM WAS IN WORKING ORDER THAT AFTERNOON?"

It was an overall okay stay

It wasn't the stay that was so bad. It was okay. When we got home and looked at our bank statement, we found two (2) charges of $30.00 on our credit card from Super 8. Since that time, one of them has been removed. I don't know what those charges were for. We charged nothing while we were there. I wanted to contact them and ask why but they don't have a local number. My itinerary said that I would be charged exactly what I saw. Why was I charged another $60 and then one of the $30 was removed but not the other? I think they ripped me off.

Couldn't check in, they are listed as pet friendly but only take dogs.

Very clean and quiet hotel, the bed was super comfortable. The coffee was amazing and the staff were super nice both the ladies the one who checked me in and the one who checked me out.

Typical budget property. Nothing stands out. Breakfast a little below average for this type of place. If you're looking for a cheap room, this will do, although there are better places at that price point.

No parking as they were paving the entire lot. Had to park in a sand lot. Had a hard tine using tap to pay with my phone because you need to have your physical card to see your name matching your license. Thank goodness I had the app for my card that showed ut. The deposit if you are out of State it 33 00 but if you have cash is 100 00.

One of the beds had a huge dip in it and was damp, like maybe the bedding wasn’t dry, so had to try to sleep around it. There was dust next to the microwave, pet hair on the chairs, strong cigarette or pet odor even though it was labeled as a nonsmoking room. The shower head was excellent. Hot tub was separate from the shallow pool. Carpet wasn’t very clean looking, but maybe it was due to the stripes trying to hide pet stains.

We were a late night check-in, and then we had a problem with the room! The staff handled the problem quickly and efficiently -- they got us a new room right next door, so the move was easy and painless! The room was clean! And the breakfast in the morning was good!

This hotel was updated, in great shape and comfortable. The ac was a little louder than I like but doable with ear plugs. Breakfast was nice, nothing fancy.
