Room was ok. Unfortunately, I noticed a very large brown stain on the bottom of the mattress (when the sheets came up a little). Overall, the hotel is in a good location but I didn’t feel it was very clean.

It’s an older property but you can tell they’ve renovated it. It was a nice layout inside the room and bed was comfy. Loved how the entry room was separate from the bedroom so we heard nothing from the hallway. Breakfast was well done - lots of options.

This is my go to place to spend the night when traveling between San Diego and Denver or Further out. It’s always clean, quiet, has a good breakfast at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend it for the tired traveler staying in the area or passing through!

The property seems to be well-maintained with hospitable front desk staff and hard-working cleaning crews. The swimming pool isn’t well suited for laps, but kids will enjoy it. 2. blackout curtains on room window did not fit correctly, allowing light to come into the room throughout the night.

The gym was very dirty and dusty. No wipes for equipment and no yoga mats. Our room was supposed to be pet free. Either someone snuck a pet in or we were put in a pet room. Our allergies were terrible. Light bulb out in the room, TV wouldn't connect, phone wouldn't call the front desk. A herd of elephants were playing soccer in the room above us. Called the front desk about the elephants, it helped for about an hour. Tried to call again and no one would answer. Didn't stop until 10:30 pm. It was a tough stay. BUT!! Location of the hotel is fabulous. When I'm not working, when my wife is with me and we ride along the Riverside trail or bring our mountain bikes. The kokopelli trails (mountain biking) are not far. This time we rode our road bikes on the Colorado National Monument loop with was fantastic.

This property has a very pretty lobby area with a fireplace and clean lines. The updates stop there. I would say that our room seemed “tired”. Needed to clean the white doors, fix the scuffed and marred furniture. The bathroom had rust marks on the doorframe. Our bed was very uncomfortable. Might be ok for younger bodies😏. Would not stay here again

Stayed here because the location was great, with shops, coffee, and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was disappointing. The staff were unfriendly and seemed annoyed, the property felt outdated, some chairs were broken, and the lobby smelled like urine. Too bad, because the location is the best thing this place has going for it.

We were extremely happy with the location. We were able to walk the Dinosaurs Museum and it was a short drive the Colorado National Monument. The rooms were dated and the pool was cloudy. The breakfast had limited options. It was a bit of a disappointment.

Perfect stop on a road trip

The cleaning agents used to clean sheet and or room were so toxic to my husband that he had to go sleep outside in our truck. Outside there were kids using a horn to alert the thief trying to break into cars. when someone came out of the hotel the helper thief would toot the airhorn

Photo show nice pool, but don’t count on it. It shows it’s there but it’s always either closed or the hot tub is closed and the pool is ice cold. And I don’t mean the heater was set to low. It was absolutely not heated at all. No one was in it for a reason, it’s an ice bath. So if you go into it knowing there is a closed or unusable pool then you’re good.

We reserved the room as a good place to stay w/ a family & we were all looking forward to using the hot tub. We had specifically reserved it because it had an indoor hot tub and pool. When we arrived & checked in, there was a note at the desk that the hot tub was out of commission. We were super disappointed. The next day we were told that it has been out of commission for a couple months and that management says they aren't going to bother fixing it until summer, that a sign at check in is enough. That is really frustrating because online it shows as having one & why we chose it. By the time you have your family at check in, it is not refundable AND a pain to repack up the car and find a new place. We were really disappointed with this. The room was also pretty disappointing. It was plenty of space, but had a cable cord draped across the room & just not great quality. The bedding was nice & the lady at check in was nice. The guy in the morning said there just was nothing he could do, that we are not the first people frustrated about this.

The hot tub was out of service which was a main point in me booking this particular hotel. The desk clerk warned that the television remote may not work but yo turn the television on by hand. I was unable to view television at all as the remote, cable box, and television were not set up properly.

First the room was literally an ice box when we checked in around 7 o'clock at night. Who turns the a/c all the way up in the middle of November? Also the doors to the rooms were absolutely disgusting and I don't mean just mine every door in this hotel was disgusting . Also the cable wire that was basically taped to the wall which was just hanging in the door frame like how ghetto is the place??Next the pool, it wasn't the problem it was the broken hot tub that was just left with nasty stagnant water, it literally smelled like mold. After that we found out out our wifi wasn't working. So I got tell the front desk girl, and how convenient she tells me I just need to turn off my wifi and then turn it back on it worked for five seconds then immediately said that there was no Internet connection, when I went back down to ask again she basically just stared at me and said well it's working for everyone else. At that point I was so irritated I just went back to my room and went to bed. Breakfast sucked it was the worst scrambled eggs and some muffins I never once seen sausage, bacon, anything like what's up with that huh????? Either way I will never stay at a la Quinta inn again. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS 10/10 do not recommend!!!!

The whole hotel was just dirty. I paid more for a room with a jetted up just to get switched to another room because the first one didn’t even have a water stopper and was leaking. Then the second one didn’t even turn on. When I told the front desk she never said sorry for having to switch me rooms or the things not working and simply blamed housekeeping. I’m majoring in Hospitality and Management…people want to hear an apology not an excuse. I know it’s not her personal fault for the incidents but she is the face and who to go to when stuff like this happens. The whole time she was on the phone with what i’m assuming was her boss. If you haven’t taught your staff how to have proper customer service and handle these types of situations you shouldn’t leave her alone. She said housekeepers tend to leave things. I suggest you fire them and get new housekeepers because everything was dirty. They can’t even wipe down the dirty door as they walk out. Details matter like old trash still being in the room, soaking wet towels “left”. All I’m trying to say is clearly the people you have don’t care

I booked this specifically for the indoor pool and hot tub. The hot tub was out of order and there was only one light on in the pool space. In our room, the remote did not work for the tv, the AC/heat did not work, and I could not connect to the internet after multiple attempts on different devices (PC, iPhone, and Amazon tablets). I was traveling with my two young kids so by the time all these issues came to attention, it would’ve been too much to try and trade rooms.

Good breakfast, very conveniently located just minutes from Colorado National Monument entrance and right next to Dinosaur Museum. Pool was cold, very small and weird shape (good enough for kids but not for any swimming).

There was no television reception during the entire stay. No discount was provided for the inconvenience of a long night in a hotel room.

My socks were clean when I put them on however from walking on the carpet and flooring in the room was very dirty. These areas need to shampooed and floors need to washed. The toilet seat was brown and kept falling off when ever used. The telephone had no wires and couldn’t call the front desk. When my husband arrived I had him look at it. He found the wires on the floor behind the night stand. The worst part was he also found a dead mouse under the night stand and disposed of it. There are only 2 luggage carts , need more.

It was exactly what we needed after traveling and hiking for 2 days.

The continental breakfast was not good at all.

The AC in the room was loud and kept me up all night. It went off every 10 minutes or so and there was no way to turn it off. Staff was friendly and breakfast and parking being included balanced it out a bit.

TV is pretty small for the room. AC worked good. The breakfast is sub-par for certain. I stay at many La Quinta's and this one is one of the lower end ones. They need to step up their game a bit.

If you are traveling with a pet is the perfect place to stay, breakfast was good.

The room was clean but needs a refresh. I hate seeing inch wide poorly laid caulk trying to cover up mold in the shower and the halls and doors could use a fresh coat of paint would go a long way. Worst part was the noise I was by a door and people were in and out and up and down the stairs until well after 2. On top of that I could hear every step coming from the room and hallway above. It’s clean, staff is nice just don’t take a room near a door or stairway!!

The halls and front desk area were very dirty. The room wasn't as bad, but I found hair on the blankets. Had a tub but didn't have a stopper. Ask the front desk and was told he didn't have one, to go try and find a housekeeper 😳 Not my job! I'm the guest.TV wouldn't change channels. It would freeze up and shut off.

We booked this is a stop on a roadtrip and I could not have been more pleasantly surprised. I was looking for something clean and comfortable but the recent renovations and service made it feel special. The staff called to make sure we knew how to get there and gave suggestions on where we could make a quick grocery stop on the way. The full breakfast had something for everyone and most importantly the comfiest beds! The hotel is not a five star but the staff really were five star!

The hotel features spacious accommodations, a visually appealing lobby, and a comfortable breakfast area. However, there are some concerns regarding the pool facilities; specifically, several lights in the pool area were non-functional, there was a limited supply of towels, the pool temperature was notably cold, and the sauna did not reach an adequate temperature. These issues could be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience.

This hotel is just okay. It needs a lot of updating and a thorough cleaning. Toilet & shower were separate from sink and the space is cramped, dated, and the toilet seat wasn't the right shape or size for the toilet so we had to clean up messes on the floor. Desk chair was stained, but bedding looked clean. Unfortunately we ended up near a room with 2 yappy dogs and we had to deal with their barking at an early hour. Would have appreciated a heads up that we were being placed next to a room with dogs so we had the option of finding a different room or hotel. Breakfast offerings were fine, but not extensive. Front desk staff was very friendly at both check-in and check-out. Not a hotel we would stay at again.

Our stay was pretty good for Country Jam 2025. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they even called to check in on us when we were a few hours past our check in time. The bathroom could have been a little better kept (staining on the walls behind the shampoo and body wash holder in the shower, some other staining in the shower), but overall a good stay. We’d come back again

Stayed 1 might on a road trip to California. Property was convenient and easy to get to with ample parking. Rate was very reasonable and included breakfast and free wifi. Many options were close by for dining Facility was very clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was good. Rooms and hotel are a Little dated? But over all it worked for an overnight stay. Our room had 32 inch TV with HBO, microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. Room was clean. Perfect for a night or two stay. Only real con, was the price of the room. For what it is, $225 is a little high. But you do have gas stations, restaurants, coffee all in close area.

This could be a very nice hotel, it appears that there has been some refurbishment and the beds are decent. However, the hotel is filthy throughout. From the carpets on the corridors, the elevators, the doors (scuff marks and scrapes) the lobby restrooms and the breakfast area. What a shame! There is obvious neglect going on and very poor maintenance and housekeeping. The breakfast was poor, with a very strange taste in the waffles. What a pity!

This property was interesting! A disheveled but very friendly gentleman checked us into a lobby that smelled of disinfectant but was reasonably welcoming! It was a mixture of new and old! Seemed to have been redecorated in shades of white and green with purple and brown! A large water container sat alone in the middle of a huge counter! There could’ve been fruit, cookies, napkins etc. on the counter along with the water! The floors and carpet were reasonably new but the elevator was old and smuggled! It needed a quick spray of deodorizer! Our room was ok, just hot, dark and stuffy when we walked in! The sheets had been put on haphazardly! Once again the doors were white and badly soiled with handprints! The bathroom was nice! Towels were new, fluffy white and reasonably thick! The hairdryer way hysterical. It had been a wall hairdryer and was taken down and put in a bag complete with the mount which was necessary to turn it on! Breakfast was ok just not appealing to look at! Items looked sparse on a long white countertop! Choices were sparse!

Shower had mold in it, juice machine for breakfast was broken and selection was lacking, and the fitness center didn't have a full set of weights or any mirrors. But the bed was comfy and clean, the staff were helpful and friendly, and our room was quiet. The hotel is located right next to lots of food places and a dinosaur museum.

I liked most that this was a very quiet property on a week day night, right off the interstate after a 12 hour drive, and having to get up early again for 6 more hours of driving the next morning. I woke up refreshed! My room was very clean and the front desk accommodated my request to be on the 3rd floor away from guest traffic, ice machines and elevators. Easy parking on the property right outside the steps was a bonus after being in CA for a week. I never take easy and free parking for granted. The free breakfast saved me time and money. The food area was clean, as was the dining area. I will definitely stop here again when I pass through.

Pool heater was not working making Iit unusable. The layout of the breakfast serving area was un appealing. The space seemed about twice the size needed. Average budget hotel breakfast fare, ended up going else where for breakfast.

When we were getting our card keys from the male receptionist, he spoke our room number out loud and he did the same thing to the next person as well. This needs to be stopped immediately! It compromises privacy and security. I have stayed at many hotels all year around and no one has ever done this before. The hotel is conveniently located and has nice facilities.

The first morning we discovered that our in-room coffee-maker hadn't been serviced--otherwise, our stay was excellent.

We had a suite for 4 nights, and it was wonderful for the most part. They have no instructions for the TV in the bedroom, so you have to contact management to be able to use it. The condition was a little run-down, but it was pretty clean. They allow dogs, so you will hear them periodically. We just got used to it. Other than that it was quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent everyday. We would definitely stay here again!

Employee staying in a trailer in the parking lot with rv pipes draining into the parking lot. Very classy. When brought up to f/d they argued with me. Told me to contact owner. No uniforms for any employees. All wearing personal clothing. Breakfast was poor compared to most LA Quinta's. Stay in Glenwood springs!! There hotel is great!!

Great spot for dog owners traveling across country. Dog friendly, nice grassy area and poopie bags on the west side. Dog park with playground on the other side of the dino museum. Only negative was the person in the room above us who was dropping bowling balls on the floor all night long.

Stay was part of a road trip. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was good but refrigerated was noisy so we unplugged it…issue solved!

Very nice property. Clean. Easy to access from the freeway with many dining choices nearby. Good breakfast. Great dog park nearby-just on the other side of the Dinosaur Museum which is next door.

Unfortunately the pool was freezing, so for our family that was a big downside. The breakfast is the same options each day, so a little redundant if you're staying more than 1-2 nights.

The rooms had obviously been updated and were lovely, bedding very nice. It’s the halls, outside the property, window jams and screens still need cleaned/replaced. There was gtrash in the halls.

The bed was nice. however, i felt the bathroom needed a major scrubbing. There was dirt in the corners of the floor.

Overall nice clean property and room. Only negative was Pool area was quite dark and pool too cool

The hotel is easily accessible from the interstate. Pleasant staff.

Clean and good location!

This hotel could use a little refreshing. The ice machines on all three floors were out of order. When we asked the desk clerk about it, we were told that the owner of the hotel has known that they are broken for several weeks and has neglected to do anything about it. This whole hotel seems neglected.

I didn't arrive till late, but checkin was fine, the man at the desk was friendly. Room looked and smelled clean when I got in. Got ready for bed and tried to turn on tv, but it wouldn't turn on. Not the biggest deal. I didn't call the front desk, cuz i was all ready for bed...I didn't wanna have to get up and dressed for them to check it out/fix it. When I was getting ready for my shower this morning, I noticed the bathroom wasn't all that clean. Hair on the door, shower wall and shower curtain, and a small clump of hair on the floor, along with a fingernail next to the trashcan, and some small pieces of something near the toilet/wall. When I left, there was nobody at the front desk to let know. I called the hotel this afternoon to let them know, and after I explained about the tv, I was asked to be put on hold. Ok, fine. I finally hung up after 28 min of sitting there. So, because I couldn't tell them in person about these little things, I'll just leave them in my review.

This is our favorite hotel to stop at. The Guy at the front desk is amazing. I wish i had thought to get his name.

The bed was very uncomfortable— so hard— did not sleep most of night. Breakfast was disgusting. Cold, icky sausage and the eggs were dried and cold. We stay at La Quinta frequently but I won’t stay here in Fruita again.

Decent hotel that offers rooms with three full size beds at a decent price

It wad close to a lot of eating places, great when your tired and don't want to have to look for a good eating place. Also LaQuinta had a list of eating places at there front desk, very helpful.

Excellent location, great value, wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, very spacious, and comfortable. There is a Starbucks, JimmyJohns, and McDonalds within a stone's throw. There is also a Dairy Queen, Qdoba, Einstein Bagels, a couple gas stations, and the local Munchies within walking distance. A little past that are a couple other sit down restarurants (BBQ, steaks, chines, etc.). Plenty of parking, safe, breakfast was good, and the staff were very pleasant. Thanks!

The front desk gentleman was excellent, our arrival was delayed by almost 3 hours due to a traffic on Interstate 70 and the detour route we had to follow. The gentleman on the check in desk called us to check our arrival time. Upon arrival he offered a free upgrade to a room with a jetted tub for my wife. An offer he certainly went the extra-mile and was very personable. A welcome relief to the difficulties of the drive that day.

The hot tub and swimming pool had issues when we first arrived, but the front desk was quick to have maintenance fix the issue and informed us a breaker tripped. Their attention to problems were prompt and they were friendly and apologetic. It was great customer service and made us feel like we were more than just another check in to them.

Pool was ice cold, door looked like it had an attempted break-in, sink smelled like a sewer.

The hotel room was comfortable and well-appointed. I found no issues whatsoever. The hotel itself was starting to show its age, but the staff kept it very clean.

Clean and quietly

Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was pretty good. Mattress felt worn down. Super noisy motel though with paper thin walls. You could hear folks upstairs walking and talking. The noise from the hallway was worse. The (tiny) pool was ICE cold. Even my kid refused it. Unfortunately, every other family in the place felt the same so the hot tub was way over capacity and the pool area was unkept.

Staff was AMAZING!!! Breakfast was wonderful. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Great location.

Looking under the bed and other furniture, there was a ranch ccup, big ball of aluminum and foil, trash, leaves, the beds fitted sheet wasnt on all the way, there was random pink paint all over the walls, tge jacuzzi tub was leaking from the faucet handle. I will never stay at this hotel again.

The pool was ice cold. The entire reason we chose this hotel was because the setup of the pool looked fun for our 3 and 5 year old, but it wasn't heated at all. We couldn't use it. We will not be back.

Heating unit was do loud as to wake you up in night and controller on wall did not work. Sink didn’t drain properly and when I pointed out on check out “front desk said italways like that”

I called the front desk twice, it was around midnight. The employee at the front desk was polite and stated he would take care of it, but it never stopped. Finally fell asleep around 1 AM and was awoken again at 6 AM to more pounding and banging and it sounded like people jumping around. Bathroom had a loud fan that doesn’t stop unless you close the bathroom door, and you can still hear it slightly. I went to check out in the morning and express my concerns, but there was no one at the front desk and there was a sign that said be back soon or call this number for emergency assistance. I left my room keys and exited.

Great stay for the night. Super friendly staff when we arrived last night and a simple continental breakfast in the morning. La Quinta's always seem to work out well!

The hotel itself was great. The area out the back door was sketchy and not somewhere you would want to walk your dogs. Staff was excellent.

I usually stop here when I travel between Utah and Colorado. The stay is usually quite nice however my last time staying here in November 2024, I had a hard time sleeping due to the extreme bleach smell on the sheets, otherwise good.

Hotel a bit rundown. Fine for a quick overnight stop

Great location (several shops near it). Room was clean and updated. Check in was great. Beds were comfortable. Room was quiet. Price was fair. I was surprised but this place was good. Keep in mind the very small city is in the middle of nowhere. It was better than i expected.

Just a heads up that the pool and hot tub are closed, which was a bummer for us.

Staffer very friendly and helpful. Suggested a restaurant nearby that was excellent. I would stay here again. Easy to reach Colorado monument from here.

Beware! They took my payment out twice. I had to beg them and give them ideas before they went the extra mile to check. Upon finally checking they discovered the cc company did indeed take it out twice. We were on a very tight budget for this trip and it took a hard hit on us financially. It's been over a week and I'm still waiting for a refund. I called corporate and all they did was read an apology on a piece of paper and have me no solution or compensation for the huge inconvenience.

Comfortable

We had a jetted tub room and it was in the large king room which was fine and surprisingly it filled with hot water. The breakfast was NICE! The service was “fine”. The pillows and bed were comfy. It was close to lots of food too. We were sad the pool and hot tub were closed.

Lobby and especially halls had heavy wear, scuffs, and could use cleaning. Room itself was good though.

Quick check in. Quiet location.

I checked out late at 10 and at that time, the Starbucks customers were using the parking lot like a street - probably nothing you can do about that but it was kind of bizarre to be loading my car amid that traffic

We arrived and our toilet was clogged. The desk person brought us a plunger and we had to plunge it ourselves (it was clogged before we arrived!). The sink did not have a stopper in it and the drain was very dirty. Also the side of the building outside our window also very dirty.
