The location and the hot tub was very nice The rooms were older
- 5/5
The hotel was in a great location (directly across from the beach). The room was clean and there was a microwave and mini fridge. There were daily activities for the kiddos and there is a restaurant and bar on site. Check in was smoothie and the front desk staff was helpful and nice. There is a foot wash and an outdoor shower to use when you return from the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Everything was great, the staff was amazing and super helpful and friendly! The hotel was clean and had very kid friendly. Enjoyed our stay!

Very good
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 4/5
I liked the location and the cleanliness of the facilities. I didn't like that there was a time limit on access to the facilities especially since check in is so late in the afternoon, I felt I paid 400 dollars for only a couple of hours of access plus there were extra fees to use the amenities and even extra fees for parking. I feel that it was a bit excessive to charge for each individual area plus the room fee.
- 5/5
Excellent food
- 5/5
The staff was nice and the pool is fantastic for the kids
- 1/5
Blankets smelled bad, roaches. Did not want to compensate anything since booked through expedia.
- 5/5
Great trip
- 4/5
Location, view and room This is a resort. Therefore, need more activities. Also, maybe start a Buffett in the Jetty restaurant.
- 5/5
kids. Chairs were NOT cheap plastic AND they were clean! I hate going to a property pool and and chairs are dirty and unkept! Great poolside service for food and drinks. The restaurant food was so good. Not your typical “concession” quality…real food freshly cooked! and VERY reasonably priced with big portions. Deserts white cheesecake or warm brownie sundaes! And ice cream and milkshakes for the kiddos. We added the breakfast package onto our stay so we had the option of a breakfast buffet or ordering from a select menu. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this resort.

Location was great. Staff was very friendly. Bed was comfortable. Too pricey for what you get. It's called a resort but it doesn't feel like a resort. Too many kids in the pool. No room for adults to actually enjoy the pool. Parking on site cost whether it's in the garage or not.
- 2.5/5
Not a lot Price, parking and add on fees!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned and stocked daily. I know this was probably in the fine print but I missed it. They charge a $50 fee every day for just existing plus an $8 a day amenity fee. I’m supposed to get the $50 a day fee back, which for me is $250 in seven to 10 days. For me, that’s a lot of money for them to just leisurely hold on to. Also, they call this a resort and spa. It’s a very middle of the road hotel.

Absolutely great place to stay. Front desk staff was very professional. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was hassle free. Very clean room.
- 5/5
Beautiful view. And the staff were very friendly
- 4.5/5
It’s close to all major areas. They only have one elevator which is slow. They should look into adding 4 more at least.
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel had amenities I did not need, but I was impressed. Movie theater for kids, and a play area for kids as well. Video game room. I have no kids

- 5/5
Great hotel. Lots to do for kids.
- 4/5
The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were excellent and there was bar service at the pool. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas were available.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly, room was nice, accessible to beach, dining and shopping. AC was perfect.
- 5/5
Relaxing weekend. It’s nice to be able to swim and not have to leave the premises for any meals. Good bar food and good food options.
- 5/5
Pre cruise stay. Had an unobstructed beach view. The room and view were very nice. Beautiful pool area and lounge with live music. We added the breakfast for an up charge and it was worth it. Very good and convenient. They offer a shuttle for $20 pp to cruise terminals which worked out perfectly. Would definitely stay again if in Galveston.
- 5/5
Best staff! Great place to stay great everything!
- 4/5
perfect! (except for the price) (meaning you pay the peak season sunny beach price when it's chilly and raining 3" in a day)
- 3/5
Don’t think I would ever stay there again
- 5/5
We hadn’t stayed at this hotel in over 8 years, but are so happy we finally came back. The rooms had clearly been updated, but still maintained that beautiful view I had been dreaming of. Rhianon at the front desk was very helpful, friendly and kept great communication with us during our stay! We will definitely return 😍
- 3/5
The beach view was un obstructed however, it left out the roof of the building below, which was not very nice to look at
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff, and very clean hotel.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable room with amazing views!!
- 5/5
Staff and room were great
- 1/5
The floor was filthy in our room. There was no dresser to put our clothes in. No Kleenex in the room no notepads or a pen. The bathroom was very tiny only large enough for one person
- 5/5
Overall, a very good hotel, excellent restaurant dining, and good amenities.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing, loved the beach view and just walk across to the beach. Room was cleaned and the food was amazing also the pool and hot tub was AWESOME! Will differently be making this our hotel anytime we go to Galveston!
- 1/5
We had multiple cockroaches in our room. When asked to switch rooms we were told we couldn’t. So we had to sleep with
- 4/5
Yes for us beach view was excellent! My wife love it. From the 8th floor! The staff was unbelievable and willing to help in anyway needed. Sorry didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel ate it at I hop just a short walk.
- 5/5
Clean room. We love Mike who always checks us in Desiree the be tender is awesome. We always stay here when we are cruising
- 5/5
We love to bring our family here
- 5/5
All the staff was so friendly. In the elevator, hallway, restaurant, anywhere we went they were smiling and friendly to my family.
- 4/5
Nio...did not eat breakfast.
- 3/5
In the description it said that breakfast was included but at the end it wasnt. And the price for breakfast was $16 dlls for each person. $8 dlls + $15 dlls fee extra per day which it wasnt on the information when doing the reservation. Its not really just about the price but paying all the fees and for a poor service its Not worth it. When i got there i was told waters would be included and towells and blach blah blah but when i asked for waters the lady said that it would take a minute but she never did. When we ended up going for the waters we got only 2 small bottles. The bathroom was dirty when i got there. I wouldnt really get a room here again tbh it was aright but not that good.
- 5/5
We picked this hotel for our springbreak trip. Kid friendly and had things for the adults as well. Really enjoyed the views of the beach and the karaoke 🎤 night.
- 5/5
Was the very nice
- 4/5
Good location, right across from the beach.
- 5/5
I had a good time. It was very nice.
- 5/5
Wonderful place to stay with children, they have a plethora of children activities daily from crafts to movie nights. The pool, children’s pool, hot tub area is large and inviting. Poolside service impeccable. We will definitely be back!
- 5/5
We do not eat breakfast. But the bar and the bar staff was great.
- 4/5
Good breakfast
- 4/5
The room was clean, pool area was very nice and well maintained. Could use new balls and toys for the pool. Breakfast is overpriced, but in a nice area. The view from the balcony was amazing
- 5/5
Nice service.
- 5/5
The birds that greeted us before the sunrise, less great. I hope that future staff puts spikes on the Palms trees so that no birds next there and wake up guests like they did for us at 4am. Plus side though.. we had a early start!!
- 3/5
Handy for cruise port
- 5/5
Friendly staff great location
- 5/5
Very helpful staff everybody was nice lots of little conveniences, especially the parking for our cruise.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing! The hotel is in a great location and very clean.
- 5/5
When we arrived — Isabella did a great job checking us in and letting us know what we are able to do on their property — I was definitely a wonderful greet. And also to DANIELLA - who took care of us during our stay while we enjoyed the pool! It was our first time and I have to say that I can’t wait to go back !!! It was a beautiful stay and the staff were all so wonderful !!
- 1/5
Our stay was disappointing. The room had a strong, unpleasant smell, and the doors from nearby rooms slammed loudly at all hours, making it hard to relax. Our poolside balcony room also came with constant noise late into the night, including the pool gate repeatedly slamming shut. Between the smell and the nonstop noise, this wasn’t a comfortable stay, and I won’t be returning.
- 5/5
Yes the gym was perfect. So convenient with hotel across from beach and so walkable to pleasure pier.
- 3/5
Also the floors in the room was very dirty, I had to wipe down the entire room with wipes just so that we could walk barefoot. There were two times where we were chasing a large size cockroach around the room, had to move beds to to kill them and noticed so much dust under the beds. One day had housekeeping come in to make the beds and change towels, but only one bed was made. My mother who was with me on the trip is currently recovering from a broken arm and it’s almost impossible to sleep on the bed. I researched the hotels website and saw that there was a single sleeper sofa available and offered in other rooms, so I called front desk and told them my situation and was told there was no such thing available and was not given any other options. Mother had to sleep on chair the entire trip. Was charged over the original price and no explanation of it was given. I would like my money back!. I left the room in better condition that it was given to me as I had to pretty much mop the entire floor with wipes. Also, we did not even used the coffee provided. On the good side: Food from restaurant in lobby was pretty good and staff were friendly. Also, Nikki from the kids activity room was super nice and friendly.
- 5/5
View was great
- 5/5
Great view , amazing remodeling and updates! Kids loved their mini vacation. Breakfast at the jetty was great as well. Will be bsck soon and every spring break
- 5/5
Nice property with good amenities
- 5/5
Great staff
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very nice
- 5/5
We stayed at this resort the night prior to our Disney Cruise embarkation day. The hotel Wes clean, the staff the night we checked in was very friendly. They had a backdrop and decor for Mardigra which was perfect for a picture lover as myself. The only disappointment was that breakfast buffet was not included. It was $21 pp the choice were the usual eggs, sauge, etc, the restaurant area was clean. I highly recommend this hotel. I’m a traveling single mother with a 13 and 10 yrs old.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing
- 5/5
They where great and friendly
- 5/5
I liked the love seat and table with two chairs that were part of the room amenities. I was glad to have the K-cup coffee maker in room, some hotels are eliminating the coffee maker from their rooms.
- 3/5
The pro: My room was clean and adequate. The cons: The outside of the building is peeling. I wasn’t aware the rooms were all accessed through a breezeway. As a woman traveling with her daughter, I wouldn’t have chosen this hotel for that reason.
- 5/5
Brandon, who was working the front desk, greeted us as we first entered and immediately was so accommodating.
- 1/5
Staff shared wrong information about early check in fees, the staff also gave wrong information about the shuttle. For the price and the stated amenities being wrong, stay elsewhere
- 5/5
Yes, there was a gentleman at the front desk. I think he his name is Don. He’s African-American. He was great great customer service.
- 3/5
Okay.
- 4/5
Great location and friendly staff!
- 4/5
Staff was friendly. The noise from the bar with the band playing was a little loud.
- 5/5
Great staff service. A staff member actually called me the day of my arrival to see if I wanted an early check-in.
- 5/5
Clean room good service
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Friendly front desk staff, great location, nice sized rooms
- 4/5
Wonderful!
- 3/5
Rooms are "ok" - clean enough, they are the "outside door to your room" style which is not my favorite. What made me drop 2 stars.. I booked and prepaid via Expedia for 2 rooms, 1 night. My son got there before me and I had called to let the front desk know so he could get into his room. When I showed up, they assigned me to the same room so had to walk all the way back down to sort it out. The next morning, we were charged an extra "resort fee" on both rooms which they said was mandatory and not part of my booking. I inquired what it was for.. "things like access to bicycles". Ummm. ok. It was 40 degrees outside. I am not having to call them because they charged my son for the room. Would not stay here again - disorganized and I feel the "resort fee" was not transparent (not disclosed at check in and should have been part of my booking). Oh, and parking is extra.. so they do look for any chance to nickel and dime.
- 5/5
Very accommodating and excellent customer service.
- 5/5
New Years Eve little get away. Comfortable beds, nice pool and bar
- 5/5
Staff were amazing helpful and cheerful . Funny
- 5/5
Good location.
- 5/5
Excellent balcony view of the beach!
- 5/5
Stayed here night before cruise will be , night before place from here on wil also use their cruise parkink
- 3/5
The staffs are friendly and the hotel is a family friendly. But room is not as good. We stayed in room 502 and paid extra $60 a night. The bottom of the ac unit is very dusty, the floor is very dirty, the toilet flush is broken, and the front door has a big gap around the frame that its letting the cold air coming in.
- 4/5
Very nice stay
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
The staff was very kind but the room didn’t smell fresh. I probably will not stay here again.
- 4/5
Hot tub wasn’t working
- 3/5
The room was the worst I have ever received. They didn't accommodate that we had two rooms and did not put them next to each other and the hotel wasn't even half full that first night. They cancelled our cards on the second day and had to get all new cards programmed. The first day the ice machine didn't work on my floor and tried to other floors until I found one that worked, etc.
- 5/5
No free coffee after 8:30 a.m. was a bummer!
- 2/5
We were put in a room right next to first floor elevators the first night. It was terribly loud. Although they moved us the second night, it was a room with 2 queens instead of 1 king. E were also assure me that our $40 shuttle to our cruise ship would get there in plenty of time. Our boarding time is in one minute and the shuttle still has not arrived at our hotel. Very disappointed.
- 5/5
Ok hotel
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Our stay was pleasant but our reservation was initially for conjoined rooms but upon arrival we were told the rooms were not available. After further investigation, the rooms were available but after an additional $50 charge. We found this disappointing and unfortunate but paid since we had little kids that necessiated the rooms.
- 3/5
No conditioner in shower. Cockroach in room
- 5/5
Location and staff.
- 5/5
Great view if the beach from the room. All staff was happy to see us there and friendly . Our new favorite place to stay in Galveston .
- 4/5
The balcony view was nice. The customer service was exceptional. Convenient to the beach and local restaurants.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Our balcony looked out to the roof of the hotel main entrance including many air conditioning units and various industrial equipment. There are additional resort and parking fees automatically charged whether or not you park a vehicle. You have to follow up to be sure the parking isn’t charged with the front desk staff who obviously deal with this issue a lot and have limited patience for the questions. The walls are thin and the comings and goings of others are loud.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing!!!!
- 3/5
Staff was nice and room
- 5/5
Very clean and the staff was beyond kind and lovely!
- 5/5
We stayed one night before going on a cruise. The staff was amazing both at the front desk and the restaurant! We will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean room. Nice bed and pillows
- 5/5
Very courteous and efficient staff
- 3/5
About the additional charges, like parking and amenities, which was not in the website when I booked the room
- 5/5
Great view of the gulf, spacious room, staff wonderfully friendly and helpful, particularly Rhianon!
- 3/5
Don't try to hustle extra money out of a room request, or early check in. We were asked to pay $60 for each. Needless to say we declined and checked in at 4pm and took the room that was offered. A money grab policy that we will remember the next time we book in Galveston.
- 4/5
Overall it was a good stay. Lobby and main area was very nice. Friendly staff. Not that it’s an issue, but I didn’t realize it was an actual motel until we got out of the elevator heading to our room. Room was updated nicely. Did see a cockroach in the room and the fan in the bathroom was very loud. Other than that, great stay. Good breakfast with large portions for the right price.
- 2/5
Surprise $25 resort fee for parking on check in. Bed and pillows very hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom could have been cleaned better. Would not stay again.
- 5/5
Excellent!!!!!
- 2/5
Room could have been cleaner, there were hidden fees that were not disclosed at check in and the water was extremely cold. When I advised staff, they said they turned off the hot water for maintenance but never informed the guests of this information. Staff was not very helpful and full use of amenities and the facility was not available.
- 3/5
Room was fine, person at desk was less than friendly.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Front desk was wonderful and very accommodating.
- 4/5
We did have a few issues one was not the hotels fault it was my cc company, but i think there was miscommunication as i was told that they had refunded my hotel stay when my card declined so i paid for 1 night with a different card and then I would call my cc company the next morning and get it all figured out. I got everything figured out went down to pay and I was told by a different employee that he seen my payment was pending for my whole stay. I will wait and get that part figure out. Our first night the smoke detector decided to start going off when we turned off the lights to go to bed. I will say maintenance was speedy on getting up there to get it fixed. He did have to come 2 times but unfortunately he couldn't fix it so we where able to get a different room on the same floor. Both rooms were clean and very nice. Every employee we spoke to or walked past was very friendly and said hello. The 3rd floor balcony you could see both the pool and the ocean. The pool area was nice and clean. It was a little loud at night, but not enough to keep us up. We do plan to go back to Galveston and we will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Everything from the staff, cleanliness and view was awesome!….will definitely be staying there again!…
- 2/5
Unexpected fees were charged. Called the morning of and threatened if we didn’t pay over the phone then our reservation would be cancelled. Multiple phone calls during the day asking when we were arriving, after we paid earlier. The back lot parking doubled with no notice or heads up. Shuttle no longer free, $21 a person with no notice of change either. I’ve stayed multiple times but after this visit, I will not return. Very disappointed as a previous customer.
- 4/5
The pool was closed BUT everything else was great. Very welcoming and accommodating and clean. Lots to do for kids. Conveniently located to shopping and restaurants.
- 1/5
This was by far the worse stay I have ever experienced. Never ever again will I stay at any Holiday Inn.
- 5/5
The staff is super friendly!!….The were willing to go out of their way to accommodate me and my family….very attentive!….the rooms, were exceptionally clean and the views were awesome!!….breakfast buffet had a variety of choices and very filling!….will definitely stay here again in the future!
- 2/5
Charged for breakfast-didn't know until bill came to table which was expensive- could have eaten better for less elsewhere. Hidden charges piss me off no matter the amount.
- 5/5
Will definitely return!
- 5/5
Nice pool
- 5/5
Room was spotless. Was a little disappointed that for the cost we had to pay for the parking and there were no free breakfast.
- 4/5
The coffee maker didn’t work we tried twice , the water went everywhere.. the mattress is really hard.
- 4/5
Very friendly staff
- 4/5
Great place to stay the night before a cruise.
- 5/5
The staff were great!
- 3/5
The old and not updated A/C unit was very loud and annoying!
- 5/5
Great staff and location. Girls in restaurant/bar were great!
- 4/5
Overall it was a good stay. Few minor things that could’ve been better (loud AC unit), small balcony. But hotel was comfortable and good location.
- 2/5
That second room on the 5th floor, was also really smelly, though less people noise, but the AC was noisy. However, the hotel appeared to be really busy. Unfortunately I was not able to deal with the smell and the overall hotel cleanliness, and noise and checked out just a few minutes after checking in. The hotel staff said they were unable to issue a refund, which I sort of understand, but at least should had not charged me for the update.
- 5/5
You could tell the hotel was old but it was very clean. The staff were very helpful and attentive.
- 5/5
Staff was very accommodating and made check in easy.
- 5/5
The room was comfortable, air conditioner cold. Loved the whole experience
- 5/5
Everyone are professional and friendly
- 5/5
When we finally did check in at 4:00, the gentleman that waited on us was VERY friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our room had recently been renovated and was very nice and clean. The pool area was VERY well maintained and nice. Each morning, we watched from our balcony staff cleaning in and around the pool area. Each night we went to the bar at the hotel. Both nights had great live music! So, in spite of our initial impression, we were very pleased with our stay.
- 2/5
We had a cockroach in our room. They sent someone up but he didn’t seem very bothered by it. We had to help lift the bed and find it to figure out where it was and my husband had to kill it. Nothing was offered as an apology. Slightly annoyed by that.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Everything was perfect here. Love the atmosphere the staff. I will be returning for a nice stay!
- 3/5
It was okay, but not a resort.
- 5/5
We got the highest room on 8th floor after making the request. Hispanic man at front desk was very helpful and kind and called when room was ready. The hotel has been recently updated and is really nice. I loved our room. There are only 2 elevators and they are very slow. We were there Monday thru wed so can’t imagine the wait on the weekends. The pool and hot tub are very nice. Unfortunately this is a very kid friendly hotel and I usually stay away from this hotel because of this but San Louis and Hilton was booked up. I wish that this hotel sectioned off an adult only area in the pool because kids can be very inconsiderate. While we were there there was a young boy jumping in and out of pool with no regards to anyone around him. Chlorine water doesn’t feel so good in the eyes. He was jumping on all the chairs, jumping off the waterfall, running around the pool, throwing the landscaping big black rocks in the spa and then throwing balls across the pool and splashing water everywhere. The parents did nothing but just watch him doing it. It was disappointing that no one from the hotel asked him to behave. We fished the big rocks out the spa when that family finally left end of day. With that being said, everything else was great. Loved that they had complimentary coffee bar in morning. We loved the huge hot tub. Pool waitresses always asking if we needed anything. Love the bar area. Very good area on the beach

- 3/5
The music in the lobby and under the canopy out front is way too loud
- 4/5
Hotels.com said all taxes and fees were included in the price. The hotel charged me room city tax, and room state tax. Why?
- 3/5
Beside that my experience at the hotel (resort) was a nice one.
- 5/5
Just walk across the street to ocean
- 5/5
Very good staff
- 5/5
Room was clean, comfortable and very appealing to the eye. Staff was super friendly and very accommodating.
- 5/5
Everything and everyone was great.
- 1/5
Fee after fee after fee.. parking is 15$ for the night you stay and an "amenities" fee of 8$ a night then if so choosen shuttle to the cruise is another 20$ and parking fee for the week would be 100$.. bait and switch much?!
- 5/5
Are sometimes the best room was good price Don was the best view was breath taking
- 4/5
Everything was good. Many repairs are going around, though. I especially appreciate the staff in the restaurant. They were very kind and foods were great!
- 5/5
Excellent staff
- 5/5
Great view and we loved the pool time and nightlife….Jamie was amazing at the bar in The Jetty
- 3/5
I didn't like the hidden fee charge for parking and commodity.
- 5/5
Perfect location, the pool was wonderful, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean & had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable and I loved the pillows.
- 1/5
- 5/5
Loved the resort and staff!

Spent one night here everything was fantastic until 7:30am the loudest noise for hours & hours right outside our hotel room all morning long & we had a 1 year old with us, it woke all of us up. We couldn’t even sleep in bc of it. Completely unacceptable smh.

It was relaxing …

I booked a room using a site based off google maps. Long story short it gave me the cheapest hotel room for this particular hotel. With that being said I booked late at night after a few drinks and did not realize to specify that I wanted an “ocean view”, I’m new to making reservations like this. Long story short I did not get the ocean view look but after speaking with Keiana the manager at like 10 at night “I work late so could not check in until late”, she upgraded me to another room in no time at all, loved the view it made the drive worth it. Second to Kaiana (I love that name by the way, never met her but she sounds like a dream), is the fact that the hotel had an actual live band with a singer that should be producing albums. Plus you are right next to other nice hotels so the beach goer’s are more comfortable to be around because the majority of them are staying at the exceptional holiday inn and surrounding other nice hitels. See ya there in a couple weeks lol haha

Prices to high especially at the breakfast

Really enjoyed the pool area and bar and food service at the pool

Convenient to What? Property is Old, Worn Out &, with a Musty Smell. Balcony was absolutely disgusting. Severly overpriced for such shabby hotel.

Front desk was great. Everything super clean and relaxing stay

Property needs renovation. Rooms smell .

The phones in any of the rooms do not work , not sure why they are still in the rooms . We tried to call the front desk regarding a non working toilet and had to walk down when we were told they do not work . Also u have to put in 61on thd tv remote to get the TV guide and its not the normal guide which shows u what is playing on each channel it just shows u the channel name with notions or programs , very frustrating . At night when u just want yo sit and watch something you have to search for 1/2 an hour to figure out what to watch and try to figure out if it just started or has been on for a while . Seems very out of date for an expensive hotel . My husband said the WiFi sucks we could barely download an email on his phone . My phone not such a problem but we have different internet providers .

nice and clean

The very best place I go to in SLC

So when I book a hotel stay I expect that what is advertised as the price is the price I pay. When I arrived they charged me a parking fee and a convenience fee. It was my understanding that all fees and parking was included. Also the staff made me feel stupid when I called down to ask how to use the room safe as there were no instructions placard on or near the safe. There were also no chairs on our outside patio that faced the ocean as I noticed were included on the patios for the upper floors.
- 3/5
They had fees for parking and fees for coffe and water. Was not told about these extra fees when booking the room
- 4/5
It was good

One of the best we’ve stayed at in a while. Highly recommend

Was not happy staying at the Holiday Inn. The lobby was the only thing that looked like a reputable hotel. I decided to spend the extra money to have a comfortable stay but that wasn’t the case. The rooms, hallways, and the site in general was not worth the money. They charge extra to use their pool and park your car. They will nickel and dime you at every turn.
- 4/5
Great food options especially when lounging by the pool.
- 5/5
Greay place to stay. We will be back soon.
- 5/5
Loved being right on the beach
- 3/5
I was extremely frustrated with the unhelpfulness of the staff when my reservation was incorrectly booked. They told me to step away, saying it would take a while to fix, which was unacceptable. It took me just 10 minutes to cancel and rebook over the phone. Their lack of support caused me significant stress, ultimately leading me to leave in the middle of the night due to anxiety. I didn’t get to enjoy the pool at all, which is very disappointing.

Only one working elevator
- 4/5
Location etc But been disturbed many times with main tender crew house keeping staff etc Elevator was only one and very slow I

The young guy that checked me in and out was very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. All front desk agents were nice and welcoming! The hotel itself was clean and decent.
- 5/5
The staff was absolutely amazing, my kids had a blast.
- 5/5
I wiish they have free breakfast.

Nice room. Clean. Family friendly

Much appreciated!
- 4/5
Great hotel for the price. But beware of unexpected fees when you get there. Of course i know a deposit for damage is expected and i did get it back but i wasnt prepared for all the other fees. But even with the fees the price still wasnt terrible for the stay. The only other issues i had was one of the elevators was down the whole time we were there so during check in and check out times it was hectic with all the people and the vending machine took my money and didnt give me the drink i paid for. But it was clean it was family friendly and the kids loved it. I would definitely come back
- 4/5
The room was very clean and the staff was excellent . The downside was there was only one working elevator and it was extremely slow and the buffet breakfast had the same food every day
- 5/5
Everything was perfect!!!! We only stay for one night and it’s was really convenient we will be back !!!
- 4/5
I loved the posted activities the hotel offered. The hotel was kid friendly with games, movie room and arcade option. Complimentary coffee station and the option to eat at the hotel restaurant with great menu options versus going to other restaurants. Cool and comfortable rooms.
- 5/5
Its right across the street from the Beach. Beautiful views close to restaurants. Great location.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay. It was perfect. Beautiful view of beach from balcony and from inside room. That was most enjoyable. Everything was clean and updated in the room. Everyone was super friendly. Perfect location near sites, shops, and restaurants. The hotel itself had plenty of activities especially for kiddos. Family friendly. We were very pleased.

Very pleased with this property and staff. Expedia was good choice to go with. Saved a little money too. Thanks Expedia.

Good but only one elevator working

We had a wonderful time! The property was very kid friendly and the location was excellent. It looks like it had just been refurbished because everything looked new. Every staff member was professional and super nice. Will definitely return to the property again.

The only thing I didn’t like was there was no crosswalk to the beach. I wish the city of Galveston would consider that

Decent place to stay. Gives more of a family vacation vibe. They had activities at the pool for kids and families. We came as a couple and the vibe wasnt for us but it was clean and had everything you needed. Our room was on the 2nd floor, I asked for something higher and was told nothing was available. When we got to the room we were greeted with the view of the airconditioner blocking everything. Mind you, we came to the beach to relax on the balcony and watch the water. But, if you are there for family fun, it would be a good place. They even had a kids activities area inside. The pool was decent but crowded. The hot tub was nice too.
- 3/5
Parking lot is not free for guesses, you have to pay for it. They have a good mades, bedroom well takecare! Personal was nice. Love a room with games and tons for kids to play available.
- 5/5
Easy beach access, lots of things in hotel for kids/family example: ice cream, kids playroom movie room, arcade and pool bar, nice large pool also everything is close...dinning, pier etc.
- 5/5
I didn't like paying the parking fee.
- 1/5
There was only ONE elevator working for the whole property , and even the elevator was not working as intended . ( it was too slow , we had to wait 15-20 min each time we wanted to go downstairs , and we were in the 8th floor ! ) Reception desk was completely oblivious and did not care about the situation . My wife had recent knee surgery and had to go down 8 flights of stairs! Completely unheard of … especially for the amount of money that we paid for our room . The room itself was very nice as it had been renovated recently … Other than that this property has a long way to go as far as customer service is concerned .
- 5/5
Great place
- 2/5
The property itself was decent... the problem was i paid for late checkout, but was still woken up before my checkout time. Also had severa problems with key cards not working, causing me to have to make numerous trips to the lobby desk
- 5/5
Great place. Right across from the beach. Awesome pool for the family. Great pool service

Nice

No cold water in the bathroom sink, only 2 very small trash cans in the room, asked several times to change room because it was right next to elevator & hallway to pool, very noisy. Paid for breakfast that was terrible. List can go on & on. Very dissatisfied with this stay. Will never use this hotel again. Was supposed to be a resort, not much more than a low level hotel.
- 5/5
Good location to the beach. Friendly staff and clean facility.

Best place for a family. The service and staff is so sweet and really take care if your kids.

I loved and appreciated the friendliness of the staff and how kid friendly the hotel was!

For an entry level type hotel this place was really cool. The value you get from the location and amenities is phenomenal. Will bring the family back.
- 5/5
The room is spacious, the view is amazing and the staff is kind and caring.
- 5/5
We love that all the rooms have a balcony overlooking the gulf, the bar with either karoake or a live band, the food options and the pool.

Decent hotel right across from the Seawall.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect. Everything was well-maintained, and we really appreciated how clean everything was throughout the hotel. There were also fun things for the kids to enjoy, which made our stay even better. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
This is a good spot. In the middle of everything with the gulf right across the street. We are already trying to plan a trip back.
- 4/5
My room smelled like men’s cologne and when I got into bed, I could smell it on the sheet. I was disappointed that you have to pay for breakfast here.
- 4/5
The place can use some TLC but the staff is extremely friendly, especially the housekeepers. The bed was so comfortable and offered both a soft and a firm pillow. Nice pool. The back of the hotel has outdoor only hallways made up of partially painted cement in a horrid brown. It doesnt match the interior of the rooms. It makes you feel like you are going from staying at a 1 star motel to a 3 star hotel. That is odd. It could use some sprucing up with maybe beach decor out pastel colors.

The hotel was very family friendly. We enjoyed the pool so much, the Getty Restaurant and drinks and food delivery at the pool from the bar. Our grandkids had a great time!
