    I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was very good. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service and the facilities. The only downside was the pool. It was quite small for the number of guests, and since it was indoors and enclosed, the noise echoed a lot, making it feel crowded and loud. Other than that, everything was excellent, and I would gladly stay here again.

    Very clean and nice rooms. The staff had no idea on how the trolly worked, but that is minor. We could use the pool as well as the pool at the property next door which they also own. Right across the street from the beach. Very close to shopping, dining and what not. Loved it! WILL be back.

    The beds were great and we slept well. But the overall hotel was run down. The bathroom sink only provided hot water, too hot to touch most of the time and brushing teeth was a task. The elevator was slow, we took the stairs most of the time. We registered for 4 and the room was only prepared for two, we had to get bedding for the sofa sleeper and extra towels. The lady who checked us in was harsh and breakfast was pulled at 10 on the dot, even on the weekends. Overall, all we didn’t feel especially welcome.

    The cleaning staff failed to restock room prior to my arrival, therefore; I had to go to the front desk twice to get the items missing from the room ( no toilet paper in room at all and only 1 towel and 1 wash cloth) . Makes you question if the room had been properly cleaned. Indoor pool was freezing cold . Parking inconvenient. Only allowed to park in back, can not park in front of hotel or will be towed the front desk stated. Front door is located in front.

    The only thing that I can complain about is that they don't put liners in the trash cans! I feel that is VERY unsanitary! People put diapers, ect all sorts of things in the cans. I know times are tough, but maybe they should pick something else to try to save money!$$$

    2. Desayuno únicamente pan, waffles, cereal, y huevo (horneado y cocido) con café 24/7 y agua 24/7, manzanas y naranjas, no hay más. 3. Nosotros reservamos habitación con cocina, el refrigerador estaba grande, tenía para lavar trastes, NO tenía estufa, pero la verdad nos gustó bastante la habitación en general. 4. Nuestra TV dejó de funcionar después de las 11pm, parece ser que tiene hora límite 5. El parking en la fecha que fuimos se llena bastante porque es únicamente a los lados del hotel y atrás, no te puedes estacionar frente al hotel porque pertenece al estacionamiento de un restaurante externo. 6. Bastante cerca de tiendas, eso nos encantó 7. Staff muy amable, profesionales. 8. En general un 8/10, bajamos 2 puntos por la limpieza que NO es diaria, nosotros nos quedamos 2 noches y no hicieron limpieza porque es a partir de 3 noches Reservamos 10-12 junio del 2026

    This property is not what it looks like in pictures at all!! Room is nice but it needs work! Don’t pay extra for beachfront view because there is none!! The pool is so nasty ! It’s green and dirty and needs to be closed! The staff told me I was lying that the pool was blue it’s not ! It’s nothing like the picture on the website!!! That nice pool is not at this property it’s dirty and nasty!!! The inside pool is not heated !! Inside pool is like an ice bath!! The breakfast is nothing worth free ! It’s nasty egg bites and waffles along with some other options if the staff will stock more of them! By 930 it was all empty and lady working wasn’t restocking nothing we had to ask for even syrup to be refilled ! They had no fruit , yogurt , cereal, creamer for coffee nothing !!! Just much attitude if you asked for something!!! Don’t offer free breakfast if you’re not keeping options available for everyone!!!! There are so many better choices of hotels in Galveston!!!

    The hotel doesn't have a beach view. The room's door wouldn't shut close on it's own. We'd have to apply force to close it completely. Even though the room itself seemed nice, the restroom's door wouldn't close either. Also, we didn't have any body wash. We had never encountered a hotel room with no body wash. The restaurant in front of the hotel was delicious.

    Arrived early. Didn't get into almost 4 hrs after checking time. Pictures on site show stepping onto beach from HOTEL. not! You have to get across a 4 lane highway first. We also reserved a beach front view and was told that they all are. Not! Didn't pickup trash from room each day. Show a outside pool and it was on adjacent property.

    Following is very important concern on that place: 1) As you enter, you see fly flying and roof is leaking in the dining room. 2) all the carpet is dirty and smell in the hallway and most of the place. 3) bathroom has very small stall for adults, it’s good for baby 4) bathroom lock doesn’t work. 5) bedroom carpet was dirty Bedroom had bad odors 6) beds are not sturdy, felt same bed has been used for 2 decades. 7) when you go to pool , water is cold I had to jump out from pool right away. 8) cheap qualities of breakfast, very few items and apple was rotten. Needs my 100% money back for horrible stay.

    Yes, the beach was directly in front of the hotel. The balconies are not facing the beach. We had a reservation for two days and when we got there we had to wait over an hour for our rooms to be ready. We were dropped off so we had to sit in the breakfast area with all our luggage and 7 people for over an hour. The manager said she would go check on our rooms and never came back to give us an update. That was disappointing. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was real good. The swimming pool was used alot by our party. The cleaning staff was very accommodating. Overall we had a good time and the stay was comfortable. Just very disappointed about the check in process. I probably would not stay there again if vacationing in Galveston. Hotel.com was a very good site and the discount was the only way we could have taken this trip. Check in was our major complaint.

    Friendly staff and a nicely remodeled property. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only drawbacks were a short wait at check-in and no housekeeping service during my two-night stay. Overall, a pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

    This hotel is very nice and close to the beach. You can walk across the street and be on the beach which is why we booked it. Next door there is also a mcdonalds and Rita's ice cream which was INCREDIBLE! The staff was helpful but they were always away from the front desk so we had to wait. The free breakfast and coffee was below average, that is my only complaint. Overall very affordable and nice hotel for a family of 4.

    Bathroom door in room was horrible, gets stuck and makes a loud noise to open and close waking others. Breakfast was minimal with the guests in there, long lines waiting for stuff we just went and ate elsewhere. Not the worst hotel ever visited must not my favorite. But good enough for a one night stay just to sleep.

    Decent place to stay. It was a pretty typical $125-$150 hotel. I wouldn’t pay more than that. Parking is a bit of a mess. Elevators were fast. Just request being away from the dogs. Several with dogs and the barking was annoying.

    I planted overnight trip with my dog to go to the beach. It was conveniently located right across the street from the beach with a great dog friendly restaurant that shared a parking lot with the hotel. Had a great time and will definitely say at this hotel again.

    Location was good for beach, but room was noisy due to being located with 20 yards of the McDs drive through. (We could read the menu from our 1st floor balcony!) Price was decent for the location and room size. Staff was busy on phone entire time checking me in with a customer that had not received their hold $ back yet and was double charged. I know this bc I heard the entire conversation twice, once from one clerk and again from the other clerk that took over the call, all while trying to get me checked in.

    The pool is indoors and there is no outdoor pool. Also, the chlorine content of the pool is really high. I could smell it outside. The elevators are pretty slow and there’s usually only one person on site at the front desk. They don’t clean the rooms every day… You have to ask for that. When I asked for more towels because the room wasn’t clean, I had to bring my used towels downstairs to trade for them. Mattresses were decent, but not wonderful. However, having set all of that, the location for the money is still fair. Would I stay here again… Probably. But only because of the deal I got.

    Friendly staff, I am a simple person no cereal, great for the wife and 5yr old waffles, fruit , yogurt, toast, juices. I rented 1 of the few beach side rooms which had a spectacular view of the ocean, Beach front. Great parking lot.

    The staff is friendly however it doesn't appear that every staff member goes above and beyond to help like most. There was a problem with the room given to me at checkin and once the manager confirmed they made an error she didn't take the liberty to resolve the issue and rather made me stand in line all over again and just said the the other employee who was already swamped with about seven people in line would handle it. The breakfast was average at best and the only thing I did not care for is if you do not ask the cleaning staff to supply you with new towels they won't go in the room and replace used ones. Other than those simple fixes, the overall experience was not bad and is located convenient to everything along the Seawall.

    Pool was very dirty then next day it was not working rest of the stay. Also first day power went out we were on fifth floor no way to get downstairs and we were stuck there a few hours no air or food. Speaking of food the breakfast was awful only one hot item egg jalapeño muffin, which was nasty. Seeing I’m a senior with a bad knee the place was not close to the beach like advertising and no few of ocean front rooms. Place does not sit on Oceanfront like advertised.

    Place was under renovation at the time. Had trouble even finding how to get into the lobby upon arrival. Breakfast wasn't onsite. It was at a companion hotel. Hotel was easy to find and had a good location. Would stay again after renovations are completed to see if the facility meets my needs.

    For almost $300 a night, this “motel” should have been a lot nicer. Please remove the outdoor pool picture from the rest of the room photos, you only have an indoor pool. I do not want to walk to another hotel to use their pool. The pool was the main reason I booked this room. Room was semi-clean. Super slow elevator, but the lady that checked us in was very friendly.

    The room we got didn't have a closing bathroom door, staff helped changing us the room. The lady that did the check in didnt want to be there and was very clear at how much she was bothered that we were checking in. She didnt even want to tell us about breakfast without asking everyone in the room for her attention and basically screaming that breakfast was from x to y time. It was very uncomfortable and dont you dare to ask any question.

    The breakfast was amazing! Kiddo is still talking about the egg bites. Our fridge was broken in our first room and they switched us rooms but the fridge in the second one was still barely cooling. The view though was amazing. On both sides of the hotel. Love how close it is and how easy it is to get to the 61st pier.

    As I tried to check in the Friday evening of a holiday weekend, poor Ryan at the front desk spent nearly 20 minutes helping a family change a room. He told me he had to Google how to do it. He said he was the only one working. I asked if that was intentional and he said yes. Not sure why this was so considering poor Ryan had a line waiting at 9:30 pm. Once I am finally all checked in, I find the elevator is painfully slow and feel especially sketchy as if it hasn't been maintained in years. More than once, the hotel staff crammed themselves and their carts into the car with me, which felt claustrophobic. The rooms are okay but mine was heavily sloped towards one side, which made me slightly worry about the structural integrity of the building. Everything seemed nice on the surface but once you look closer you realize it's only skin deep. The hotel keys are also easily demagnetized and I had to wait once again for a while at the front desk to resolve this. Decent stay but ended up checking out early because it just got stressful to deal with it all and the disappointment.

    The peep hole in our door was missing, giving you a clear view into the room. The floor in the room was sticky in places and clearly had not been swept. A little over an hour before check out time we got on the elevator with a member of house keeping and was asked what room we were in and when we were “getting out”. I can forgive the coffee machine being broken at breakfast but the rest…100% avoidable

    This is not a Hyatt. It is a run down motel that Hyatt has purchased and is trying to capitalize by a coat of paint, some new flooring, and some other lipstick on a pig tactics. It's not working Hyatt!! Dirty bathroom at check in, heated pool that is not heated, egg bites at breakfast that should never be served at a Hyatt. I was a Hyatt Gold member for 20 years. This is not a Hyatt.

    Con: At night the ONE front desk staff has multiple task. I turned on the heater and it smelled like smoke. Got so bad the alarm in my room was going off. I called the front desk 3 times. No answer. Went down to the lobby and she said she was locking up the pool area. Maintenance came to check the heater. Of course this time nothing happened. I said we would call if it happened again and he rudely said, no I get off at 11. I said I’m call the front desk then and he said…He is not coming back. It’s not what he said it’s how rudely he said it.

    The entire building was under renovation which I can appreciate. Our room was actually a renovated room, but it was very sloppy - paint mistakes everywhere, the bathroom didnt seem to be redone - tub was dingy and floor tiles cracked. The hallway was dirty - I think we stayed on the same floor as the reno crew. The elevators took an eternity. The entire entry was a disaster and had to check in at a make shift desk. Breakfast was not provided but we were give the option to eat at the neighboring hotel. While the price wasn’t terrible, the extent of the renovation/current condition of the property could have been better communicated. Definitely would have stayed elsewhere had I known.

    The room was fine but the hotel was under renovation and breakfast was served off site. I arrived to find no coffee and had to tell the front desk clerk it needed to be filled.     Room was fine mostly. The hotel is in the process of updating. The bathtub was new and very dangerously slippery with no grab handle. But the worst part was the noisy made by the people next door and hallway. From 8:30 pm until 4:00 am no sleep and then we had to get up at 6.

    Upon arrival the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I definitely don’t think it was worth $320. Absolutely not. Libby renonvations, breakfast was next door at the neighboring hotel. It was good though. It shouldn’t have cost more than $120. The room seemed stale and old smelling. Rusty door hinges, rusty Kleenex box holder, crooked light plate and missing paint.

    The rooms smelled musty like they were struggling with controlling the humidity in the building. The breakfast room had a couple of dehumidifiers out on the tables so they were trying to do something in that space, but it wasn't very professional looking. The beds were really springy, but not in a good way that made it difficult to sleep on your side because of how much pressure it put on your arm when sleeping on your side.

    The biggest complaint was the lack of sound deadening between rooms. We could hear regular conversations through the adjoining door. Which the deadbolt did not function properly. The place is in the midst of an upgrade and it certainly needs it. I will say the staff was nice and the price was right. Nice location, a short walk to the beach.

    I was notified at check in that the indoor pool was not available, which was one of the reasons we chose that hotel. The hallways smelled strongly of pet odor and mildew. Our room was so pungent of mold, mildew, and pet odor that it caused my husband and daughter to have severe reactions. The floor was warped and we had to leave the premises within a few minutes. We had just completed an 8 hour trip and were very disappointed. We had to find occupancy elsewhere.

    We lost power multiple times for multiple hours. We were on the 5th floor with no elevator. Staff was unhelpful about the key working for our room (we knew it wouldn’t work without electricity). I had to walk up 5 floors just to figure out the key didn’t work, walk back down to the front desk and wait for someone to come unlock our door. There was no apology, no offer for a lower floor no offer for a discount. Very disappointing.

    Everything is just okay. Breakfast could have a few better protein option, rooms alright (Looked like some repairs were not finished), we did enjoy the view from our room, and were charged for using the safe and still waiting on a refund. I have tried reaching out to the location several times about the charge and a lost item, will repeatedly getting disconnected.     Booked suite with queen bed and pull out bed. I know these can sometimes be uncomfortable but this was a whole new level of bad. Springs poking you through mattress bad. Was a 3 night stay and front desk moved us to 2 bed room for last 2 nights. But room should not be advertised as pull out bed until higher quality mattress added.

    Maybe only 3 stars because of the power outage that was not beyond your control but then I realized its good to know now when booking if hotel has generator..Because of the power outage its hard to give a 5 star review because we had a restless night with the alarm went off also.. and no more breakfast even milk we were not sure if ok from a no power fridge and not even coffee.. We know its not your fault thats why its hard to give review.. but the thing is no phone or anything too like generator.. and maybe its better if the guests were informed.. but no information on whats happening unless going down a very dark stairs from fifth floor.. When I asked the lady at the front desk, told me that it was not their fault about power outage so they wont be giving full refund but just a percentage. I did not argue and I just gave our room number . Maybe its better to have generator so it wont be happening at the future. Im not the person who wants to argue so I just checked out. But in future, generator is a must on our list when booking hotel.. Also Hotel Management should have informed the guests on whats happening.. Scary getting down the dark stairs when it happened and alarm went off leaving my family upstairs - was not an option.. Management should informed guests but no information or anything, no phone as we tried to call front desk many times.. Staying calm lessens the stress..

    All of the staff we dealt with were very helpful. We have stayed with you before and will definitely do so again on our next trip to Galveston. The only negative which I would like to mention is the breakfast was not the best. The potatoes and the sausage were barely warm.     I appreciated the communication from the GM Monyssa via text. She promptly answered my request and made herself available to help me further, if I needed it. And when I arrived for check-in, Ms. Jayce was awesome!! We even laughed and chatted, which helped my day get better. She even accommodated me as well. I wasn’t expecting it because, as I said, Ms. Monyssa did help me. However, I like the fact that Jayc had the same willingness that her GM had.     The hotel is undergoing remodeling and will probably be finished soon. The inside and outside have been repainted and looks really good. The staff was really helpful and friendly. I've stayed there before and will probably stay there again

    The property was good overall but the only complaint that we have is small but when we went to use our refrigerator it was not cold because it had been turned down, we had went to a nice seafood restaurant and brought back take home boxes and could not put them in the refrigerator because it was not cold.

    When we checked in the lady, we had no patience , she wasn’t extremely rude, but you could see it. One of our bookings didn’t go through. I had three rooms. The house cleaning cleaned our room said she’d be back to drop off new towels never showed back up after we tipped her five dollars. The carpets in the hallways were pretty beat up. Not sure if they were vacuumed in days . Not a horrible horrible place to stay, but they could do better.

    I paid over $400 for 2 nights and it’s a waste of money. The bed were very old and my boyfriend woke up with severe backache. Breakfast was very bad with very poor quality food. The little room was crowded and ran out of utensils. The only good thing is location close to beach. But there are so many other properties along the beach to choose from. I will definitely not return.

    Good beds, good breakfast, friendly staff, but there were cockroaches in our room and in the elevator. There is also an awful smell to the entire hotel (like wet dog) that reflects how yucky the carpets are. If they take out the carpets, it would immensely improve the hotel. The slippery showers could really use a grab bar and/or non-slip surfaces. The location is great and the heated pool was wonderful.

    The room was old. Room size is too small, made it hard to enter the the restroom, and the room had a very strong bad smell, we had to open the door to the balcony. Room service wasn’t great either, some used towels were just left there by housekeeping after they cleaned the room. The front desk staff was nice, breakfast is atleast good.

    The bathroom was the worst you could not get to the toilet because the door blocked your way also for safety purposes you should put non-slip strips on the tub floor.     Wonderful place to stay. Clean and spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Perfect location. Decent parking. My only complaint was the breakfast was AWFUL. The breakfast was cold and the meat was like RUBBER. The milk was like tinted water so switching to cereal didn’t work either. If you just want a waffle you may be okay or maybe a muffin. You can tell nothing was actually cooked, even the sausage links were microwaved to oblivion. I didn’t take any stars away because this isn’t a big deal to me as we like to go out and eat in the local places anyway most of the time. But if you’re looking for a good breakfast this isn’t it. Otherwise wonderful place to stay.

    Perfect pre-cruise stay! We had a balcony that looked out toward the ocean. It was near the main attractions, like Moody gardens, Fisherman’s wharf, grocery stores and restaurants.     Out door pool is across the road in the “sister property.” Smell of weed is everywhere, indoor pool says heated, but the water is cold. Elevators are slow and seemingly on their last leg. There is 1 per side of the property. Ocean view is partial only. You can hear stomping from upstairs. Check in is @ 4pm, so if u are only staying 1 night. It will literally be at night! It was confusing to find the lobby at first, cause it’s at the top of a steep hill. Around the back of the property, where only 3 cars can fit in a cramped area. The lighting in the room was very dim. I know u get what you pay for….

    The room was clean as well as the breakfast area and the fish tank was a nice touch. The only issues I had was really with the staff. I don’t believe we were ever really greeted and anytime we needed to go to the front desk it seemed like we were a huge bother and it took awhile for anyone to actually come to the front desk as the employees were always hanging out in the back room. Checking in the women was very cold and indifferent towards us. The only other time we had to ask the front desk anything was just to get extra towels as we had showered multiple times during our stay due to going to the beach so much. When we asked for more towels the lady only said to us “these towels CANNOT leave this hotel”. It was a younger blonde woman. Which is fine we understand that, and had no intentions of taking them anywhere. We were actually RETURNING from the beach when we asked for the towels. It just seemed like we were being scolded for requesting towels as if we had been asking for things the entirety of our stay, and again, that was the only time other than checking in and checking out that we had to speak with the front desk. All the interactions with staff just felt a little like I was in the principles office.

    Had a decent stay at the quality Inn. The property is a little dated as are the rooms. Some of the fixtures in the rooms had obvious signs of use because of the proximity to the Gulf, there was constant humidity in the room. Even the carpet in the room felt wet the entire time the staff was friendly. However, there were no amenities in the hotel.I would’ve graded this hotel a three out of five, but the continental self serve breakfast raised it to a four. The self-serve waffle station was amazing.

    One of the worse experiences I’ve ever had at a hotel. Didn’t have hot water in our hotel. Told them pretty early in the afternoon. Went to dinner and was getting ready to put my daughter to sleep and realized it still wasn’t hot. We called down to see what can be done. The woman at the front desk said she would look for another room. I met her on the 4th floor. She came out of one room and I asked if that one had hot water and she said yeah but not that good. She then walked down the stairs and left me on the 4th not knowing what she was doing. Walked down stairs and met my wife and baby down there and the lady was waiting on customers. We were trying to see if we could resolve this or if we needed to get another hotel. I needed to know if she was going to be able to refund us before I booked somewhere else. She focused more on the new customers than with us. We were getting heated because it was already past our daughter’s bedtime but we never cussed at the woman or got out of control in any way. She called her manager and the manager said to refund us. She did something on the computer then said for us to go get our stuff out the room. I asked if I could get a receipt and she said no. We asked how would we know she refunded it and she said it would be in my account in 3-10 days. I kept asking for a receipt and she kept repeating that we needed to leave. It then got to the point she called the cops on us to be escorted out.

    The first room we were booked in had leak from the ac unit and the carpet was wet. They were able to move us pretty easily, which we appreciated. The door to the outside patio was really difficult to open and the entire hotel could probably use a refresh.

    Check in was fast and easy thanks to JayC. She was wonderful and got us a great rom! It was very clean, bed was comfortable, and room had a great view! Breakfast was good and we really enjoyed our stay. Great hotel for the money! We will be back!

    We booked this hotel based off of reviews from Hotels.com. There was no mention of the crazy parking lot that is shared with the neighboring hotel and the access lane to get into it. Also, the floor in our room was a terrible trip hazard. I have never in my life stayed in a room with a ramp under the carpet half way in the room that was going to the balcony. The beds felt like they were lying on a downhill slop. The flooring underneath the carpet was very bumpy and had dips that made me trip several times not to mention how bad they crackled and popped when you walked on them. I felt like I was in one of those crazy houses at an amusement park. The lounge area for breakfast felt very congested and cramped. The front elevator was also accessed in this area which lead to more people in this already congested area. The hotel next door shared pools which added to the already crowded place. Also, the partial view of the beach is only visible if you are standing on the balcony looking over the railing definitely not sitting in the chair relaxing to enjoy it. Our view was looking over the hotel next doors shared pool. Just wasn't worth 500.00 to stay there. Definitely will never book this place again.

    Front desk guy was the only good thing here. I mean it wasn't a horrible place, but there are much better hotels on seawall for this price that are nicer. We stay at a different place every time we visit. This place is run down. Check in and was given wrong room, they couldn't do anything about it til the next day. Next morning feont desk lady was rude. Didn't wanna switch us but did. Breakfast was gross except the cereal lol.

    The location is perfect, across from yhe beach, close to restaurants. Bed was really comfy. The breakfast was really good, eggs, sausage, biscuit n gravy, etc.

    There was black hair on the shower wall…I am very much a redhead. The lady who worked mornings when we checked in was rude to the person on the phone as well as short with us. The lady who ended up checking us in later (our room wasn’t ready) was exactly the same. She seemed to flustered over every little thing, totally not the beach vibe. The view was nice. Breakfast was good. There is VERY little parking for the number of rooms.

    The motel has.comfortable beds and is within walking distance of the beach. There is both a restaurant and convenience store within walking distance. Anything else is a short drive away. Staff was very friendly.
