The location was great and close to the cruise port location. The room seem to be humid and when my wife and I woke up our clothes felt damp and my wife’s asthma was acting up. I felt a little stuffy and our sheets on the bed felt damp also. There was a lot of humidity in the room throughout the night.
- 2/5
The person in the room next door died and they refused to put us in a different room.
- 5/5
The quick check in process The gas station noise
- 5/5
Kind staff, amazing deal, nice clean room for good price you can’t beat that far away from everything, but that’s relatively speaking since the island is smal anyways
- 4/5
staff was friendly, breakfast basic only, WIFI very weak in the room, bed very good
- 5/5
Very nice for the price. Very friendly and accommodating. Will be back.
- 5/5

Hotel is not as advertised with 24/7 shuttle service. Once we paid our way there it took over an hour to get us into a room because of I outer problems. The woman was very helpful and trying her best but it was almost 4 am and we were exhausted. I spoke with the manager in the morning about our troubles and he stated he could not offer any refunds due to booking with a 3rd party. After almost 1.5 of trying to reach the right person and being hung up several times they offered a credit for$25. I asked for more seeing that didn’t even cover the uber that we got due to their deceptive advertising. They declined any refund and sent me a email with a broken link for a “free” night after I joined some program. No thanks never again!

Great location. Worked for our stay
- 4/5
Did not eat breakfast.
- 5/5
Front desk associate was very helpful and pleasant. Quickly addressed my concern and was very apologetic.
- 5/5
Yes awesome
- 1/5
This hotel stay was absolutely the worst. I didn’t think the hotel would be bad especially since it was next to a truck stop. I got to the hotel and I couldn’t even get to sleep because the people next door had their tv on full blast. I had to call the front desk 3 times to knock on their door, call them and tell them to turn it down. Nothing worked. This was in the middle of the night and I was way too tired to stay up any longer. So the front desk told me I could go into another room and I tried to sleep as best as I could but the fridge was acting up. The door to the hotel room didn’t have a latch on the door so I could only use the lock and I had to put something in front of the door to keep anybody out. I will not come back to this hotel again.
- 4/5
What I didn't like was the "breakfast". Why not just say they have "snacks"? See the pictures that shows what they advertise versus reality. No oranges, just a few apples. No orange juice, just a gallon of milk in the fridge and a few pieces of bread.
- 5/5
The room was very nice.
- 3/5
Clean but very dated. Bed had 4 very flat pillows so, basically no pillows. I asked about cruise parking, since the sign says "Ask us about our cruise parking." He said "Uhh just come down to check out of here, in the morning, and the people who handle it can tell you." He had the personality of a porcupine. And zero info. I went down the following morning, and no one was there, and a guy was sleeping next to the ice machine. Lol it was no sleep, no info, no bueno.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Had payed parking at the motel for our cruise that was very affordable. Also helped us to arrange for a personal driver that charged $30 each way to and from the cruise terminal.
- 5/5
Great check in service clean rooms and amenities
- 5/5
Staff, cleanliness, comfy beds
- 3/5
Room was ok
- 5/5
Great serve. The staff was so helpful.
- 1/5
Staff was very nice, but hotel room was old and rundown fixings had rust that was in six in the wrong, and it was so noisy outside. The view from the window was a half a powerline near water.
- 3/5
This place needs work on breakfast and customer service
- 3/5
Your ad stated free cruise parking, that is not the case. Currently it’s $5.75 per day going up to $10 in January. You need to correct your ad.
- 3/5
The room looked like I was sleeping the the projects or a big cell
- 4/5
Clean room for one night. Just what we needed
- 5/5
Very kind and thoughtful staff
- 4/5
The front staff were great! The room was fine, the bathroom needs some attention but the water had good pressure and was hot. The breakfast though minimal it served its purpose. We would stay there again. Also, we were able to keep our car there while we cruised.
- 3/5
Both rooms TV’s had to be reset by staff, so technically the rooms weren’t ready upon my arrival at 4:30 PM. Positive note: rooms were clean and organized with pleasant smell. Staff friendly and informative. Price reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.
- 3/5
Yes
- 5/5
Everything went smoothly.
- 2/5
Worst bed ever. Freight train came through three times. Poor selection of “breakfast “ items. The coffee was see through The floor was dirty
- 1/5
We booked this hotel as there were good reviews for staying for a cruise. They also took a paper copy of our card and ID due to systems being down. I have a lock on my card. If we wouldn’t have gotten there at 1am due to a delayed flight I would have 100% changed hotels and will never stay here again .
- 4/5
We feel safe hotel, clean, we will come back!
- 5/5
Clean property
- 3/5
Everyone was friendly, could not get coffee in the morning office was locked.
- 5/5
We atay at this property before every cruise, 4 this year. The staff is always happy to see us and very courteous. The property is just 5-10 minutes from terminal, depending on traffic. They also provide parking during cruise but nnot transport to terminal. We will continue to stay there before our cm future cruises
- 5/5
Professional, friendly,
- 5/5
Very nice place to stay easy access to the main part of the island
- 4/5
Everything was as expected, it’s an older property but fairly well maintained. It’s a really good deal for a place to crash for a night.
- 1/5
The property and rooms need a complete renovation in and out!
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Much better. Excellent staff.
- 1/5
Definitely not what you think more along the lines of a motel
- 2/5
No breakfast like we thought
- 1/5
The hotel door would not lock. The peep hole had a piece of paper wedged
- 3/5
Just noisy and was old and pictures misrepresented the rooms and property.Good for 1 night stay.
- 5/5
The people were very nice and the place is easy to get in and out of
- 2/5
Before guests check in, make sure TV and phone are working. Bathtub was nasty, the entire property needs major renovation and cleaning
- 4/5
The only problem we had was the temperature of the water. It was more like taking a shower and baby warm water. It did need some updates, but otherwise it was very comfortable and very very quiet. Will most likely stay there again. It was close to the port where we were cruising
- 4/5
Stayed 1 night to board a cruise the next day. It was conveniently located.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and very easy to get to cruise ports
- 5/5
Would definitely stay again
- 5/5
AMAZING Staff
- 3/5
We last minute decided we to go to Galveston for the weekend. HJ staff was friendly. Breakfast is oatmeal, cereal and muffins. The room we clean, HOWEVER, the carpet was not. It was sticky and very...gross. I am sure it is simply time to update. Otherwise, it was an average, affordable stay for a last min trip.
- 5/5
Excellent stay!! Highly recommend!! Beat stay I’ve had in Galveston on a budget yet!
- 5/5
Peaceful
- 5/5
Great motel for the price.
- 3/5
The staff is very friendly, and the room was surprisingly spacious. Plus, parking is free. However, there were two major drawbacks: the room reeked of cigarette smoke, and the smell was so overpowering that leaving the door open didn't help. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the train tracks meant we were disrupted by loud trains passing by at least five times a night. It's a good option if you are looking for something cheap and only one night.
- 5/5
It was amazing and affordable’
- 5/5
Room was nice & clean.
- 1/5
Well I checked out on the 27th , was told the incidental fee was refundable but now that I checked out I have not received it yet. That 50.00 was to go back to my mom and I know there was no damage to the room as I know how to take care of things but I need that 50.00 to give back to my mom.igs not right to not be picking up the phone as I am needing that money back and why tell me it's refundable when I checked out and not even giving it back
- 4/5
Cruise parking is available for $5 a day if you book the night before. The car was safe and the staff was very helpful! Just Uber to the Cruise port for $15 .
- 5/5
Wouldn’t watch my bags while I waited a couple hours to check in. I don’t see why not.. it’s nice to do for customers who arrive early and don’t want to lug around lyggage
- 5/5
They were able check me in at 1:30 in the morning. I liked the sink outside the bathroom.
- 5/5
Did the job for a pre cruise night stay. No frills. Just a room and a parking space. Tv worked and the bathroom was adequate. The motel is dated but upgraded where it counts - the bed and flooring.
- 3/5
Sheets had stains on them
- 4/5
The safety issue waa of concern. There were 2 mens drinking outside their room one room away from ours. As we walked into the room they kept starring at our vehicle. We then decided to gat all of our suitcases down.
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
It was ok.
- 1/5
Blood on the walls. Room not clean
- 3/5
The staff were nice but there was hair on our sheets. We requested new sheets and changed them ourselves. The mattresses were very badly stained. The toilet valve was leaking on the floor. They offered to refund us and check out but it was 9pm and we had travelled all day. $81 was pricey for what was offered.
- 5/5
Nice friendly and close to the port
- 1/5
Rooms are non smoker and the room was cancelled.
- 1/5
This hotel was extremely overpriced. We chose this hotel to be near the port terminal for our cruise and honestly, we expected more for a Wyndham hotel. The hotel is completely outdated and in serious need of an upgrade. The “decorative” pillows on the beds were stained as were the towels. Thankfully, we were only there for one night.
- 3/5
It was a good place to spend a night!
- 5/5
Clean rooms, railroad tracks right behind hotel.
- 5/5
It was a nice place enjoyed our stay
- 4/5
just stayed for one night, quick easy and affordable
- 5/5
As always we enjoyed our stay. They are constantly working on improving and updating the property. The room was clean and quiet.
- 5/5
Everything was great butvthe air conditioner didnt qork very well. We had it on 65 and it felt like 80 in the room all night
- 4/5
It was a nice place to stay
- 3/5
Not worth for Money
- 3/5
L9yd and a little worried about the surroundings
- 1/5
Room was dirty pictures on website were manufactured not true, overall one step up from crack motel
- 2/5
For the price I paid l believe it was definitely a disappointment
- 3/5
Property was old and damaged but covered with paint. Overnight stay is ok but not suitable for long stay. It was too pricey
- 4/5
There was knocking on the door by a stranger.
- 5/5
Lovely
- 2/5
Its very old and outdated. I thought the tub was dirty but however it was the paint chipping in the tub
- 3/5
Was close to the beach. Only thing I didn’t like was that there was a door inside my room that I guess was connected to the other room. Since it was a girl trip made me a feel a bit unsafe. Never stayed in a room where there was a door inside.
- 1/5
Extremely shopworn and in a sketchy area. Said we could park free for our cruise…got there and had changed their policy. Panicked since night before our cruise and all lots were full! They did allow us to go ahead and park for $10 a night which was no big deal but we weren’t the only party they didn’t tell about their new policy. Will never stay there again
- 3/5
Super convenient because Is close to the port , but is an old hotel. Very clean. Breakfast is so basic.
- 3/5
Breakfast not good
- 5/5
Nothing spectacular ,but a clean quiet room
- 3/5
Bring your own cleaning supplies! Horribly outdated and unclean bathroom, etc
- 5/5
very good...comfortable...good customer service ..close to our vacation site
- 2/5
It was very old and dinghy inside. Blanket, sheets, and cover were old looking. The cleaning product they used had a very strong smell that it gave me a headache. Their continental breakfast was terrible. The room was too expensive for what we got.
- 2/5
There was food in the floor and blood wall bathroom and something red and stick on the edge of the floor and closet call downstairs they change us to another room but for sure will not stay there again
- 4/5
We like to stay at this hotel the night before embarkation for a cruise. It is very well located close to the cruise terminal and the staff is always kind and courteous and the property is well priced for a nice room to stay in the night before a cruise.
- 5/5
Great. Customer aees62
- 4/5
Price was very reasonable. Going on a cruise and I picked this place base on distant to ship. The room was very clean, appears to be freshly painted. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Coffee pastries, and apples.
- 2/5
I almost never, ever, bother with reviews, and I typically take negative ones with a grain of salt, but this time... well, it's not quite abandon all hope ye who enter here but... buyer beware.
- 5/5
Easy access to port and down town
- 2/5
That the train blew it's whistle all night
- 5/5
Just to sleep for one night was alright. Offered parking for the 8 days we out at sea.
- 4/5
The property is older, but in decent shape. The price was good, but the mattresses are a little worn. If you don't have a car, there is no decent restaurant close.
- 5/5
Very easy check-in with the motel representative.
- 4/5
Clean, efficient, safe & convenient location for the cruise ships. Will stay again. Only negative was the breakfast, a few small pastries & cereal.
- 4/5
I didnt like the stains on the bathroom walls
- 5/5
This is our 3rd stay in 6 weeks, each time leaving our vehicle for the week to cruise. Staff is always pleasant, rooms clean and comfy. There's a train track that has action, hence 4 stars.
- 4/5
Clean and great shower! Quiet! Breakfast could be a bit better! But overall would definitely recommend and stay again! Desk clerks were also very nice as well!
- 5/5
Not bad especially for the price
- 5/5
Max , the desk clerk, very friendly and helpful! Love the cruise parking options! Comfy bed, good TV, microwave, and fridge.
- 5/5
It is ok, the staff is very friendly. The room is clean, the mattress are hard for me but my husband likes it. The train passes behind the hotel I hope I don’t have to hear it after midnight, but my husband doesn’t care he will not hear it anyway. What I love about this hotel is that we can leave the vehicle while we are in the cruise. I will stay again and yes, I recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
The bathroom had a cracked toilet, but didn’t leak. There was a small bit of “toddler art” on the wall that made me miss my small children. The beds were comfy with clean crips sheets, The room was nice and cool when we arrived (8:00 p.m. mid September). The room was bigger than I anticipated and smelled wonderful.
- 5/5
Good place to stay.
- 4/5
Room was comfortable, in relatively good repair. A/C kept the room good and frosty. As it was kinda close to the beach, it had a a sprinkle of sand which we may have contributed to (beach day/fun in the sun time) Nike hot shower, sub-par personal care products but had my own. All in All was great accommodations at a very reasonable price.
- 1/5
This motel is next to a convenient store that lets 18 wheelers park at night; they leave the vehicles on all night and are so freaking loud. Our vehicle broke down and I asked the receptionist if we could extend one hour and she said only half an hour, and after that, I will charge you extra.
- 3/5
Old and run down, it was close to the port, but the motel is in sad shape, it was fairly clean, and the bed was OK but that’s about it. We will not stay here again.
- 4/5
There was no options for breakfast cereal or cold muffins was the choice coffee run out did not refill i think that this could have been better.
- 2/5
Room was dirty. Everything in the restroom was rusty. The room felt musty and sheets had hair all over on one bed. Seriously not worth the price I paid for.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and room was nice and clean. Good area.
- 4/5
Everything was fine. It is justcan old building and you can tell.
- 1/5
First of all when I went to check in I was greeted with a very rude manager who immediately started asking for my ID and debit card. When I explained I didn’t have a debit card for deposit as the room was already paid for. The manger then informed me he was going to refuse me access to my room unless I paid him $50 cash or by debit card. My son ended up paypaling me the money. When I asked when it would be refunded back I was told 3-9 business days! I asked about breakfast and was told it would consist of muffin, oat mill and coffee. I asked if they offered juice and was told no. When I got to the room I was met with an overwhelming smell of laundry soap or bleach! The bathroom had absolutely no tub as you can see in the pics. The room was nowhere close to what was represented on hotels.com! It was awful! You look out the window and you see train tracks and a utility tower. 2am comes around and I am woke up by a car alarm! My son had booked this hotel for me so I could get away which I never do and was charged almost $100 for this piece of crap!! This was by far a horrible experience! Do not stay here!
- 2/5
Check in was horrible, staff said are room was canceled, but it really wasn't. They ended up finding us a room but we had to pay more money.
- 4/5
Hotel is older but well maintained. Very limited breakfast. No meat or eggs.
- 5/5
Good place for a quick night rest
- 5/5
Cheap and clean and safe...just keep your rubber flipflops on at all times...just like camping...dirty floors...
- 4/5
Rooms were very clean. Very hot Ac works very well. Staff very friendly. Family enjoyed the wifi.
- 5/5
The room were clean and comfortable. There’s a hose outside to rinse your feet from sand and vending/ice machines are there for use as well. There’s a 18 wheeler stop right next door so the area always has people. I would recommend going to the gas station across the street as it was not overly priced.
