Everything outside the rooms is nice, such as the patio and the lobby area. The room was very rundown and I didnt feel comfortable. We also found mosquitos when we arrived. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. Parking was easy to get and the little plaza in the back was nice. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again.

Charming place, lovely staff. Great Continental breakfast for my kiddo - waffle maker, toast, muffins, apples, bananas, juice, coffee. Property was older but everything was clean and it was perfect for the price. The only thing I missed a little was a nightstand light. :)

The previous time they did supply us with washcloths when we asked. This time we were told that they didn't have any. The staff is always very polite....it's just odd that a hotel did not have washcloths.

The bad: the shower didn't have any place to put the soap and shampoo, so I had to put it on the shower floor. Also, I wasn't even checked out on my last day and the maid came into my room and removed my towels. So when I came back to my room and was going to take a shower, I had to call for towels. Also, the lamp by the bed did not turn on, even though the lady at the front desk said it worked when she tried it. So I don't know what happened. Overall, I would probably stay there again because the price is better than most hotels in the area. Thank you.

It was cozy and comfortable. There was remodeling near our room so very noisy. Continental breakfast was just okay as fruit was a bit over ripe but waffle and coffee were fine.

The room was dated, had unfinished patches on the walls, but was clean. If, like me, you enjoy Asian cuisine and culture, the location here makes it worth the somewhat dumpy facilities.

Here are room for improvement: 1. Front desk person could been more friendly and nicer. Needs training. 2. Towels should be better. Easy way give the impression of a better hotel. 3. Whatever cleaning agent or air freshener used, was bit too strong. Probably not good for any one with breathing issues. I kept the window open to reduce the affect.

The water was cut off. There was no running water for most of the day. Then was flowing again by 10 or 11. The water was cold and brown. Then cleared up eventually. Not all outlets worked. It was very loud overnight along with a family screaming at each other. It just didn’t feel like a successful stay even though it normally does.

Eventually, I was able to switch the room. TV was working alright but sink wasn’t draining water smoothly enough. The window was very hard to close. The bed was okay if the next room is quiet. I was unfortunately the next room guests were noisy. I don't think I will stay this hotel next time.

Parking has plenty of spaces. Checkin was quick. I was assigned a second floor room. The inside of door lost a large paint making it look ugly. Room was clean and spacious. There are only two lights, one on the roof but it’s not bright, one lamp on one of the nightstands but it couldn’t light on so literally it’s pretty dim after sunset. I didn’t bother to ask for a lamp or bulb replacement. The bed sheet was dirty so I asked housekeeping lady to give me another clean sheet so I could sleep on. The sink is a little clogged and the cold water wasn’t flow much so the coldest water is warm. The shower water was ok and the drain is good. Someone was coughing badly in the downstairs garden all the time, which bothered me much. He was there in daytime and evening and even at 2 AM. I couldn’t have good rest for the first night. The soundproof was so bad that I initially thought he was in the next room. I asked front desk lady to change my room but hotel was almost fully booked so I didn’t have an option. The breakfast was very basic and there was no milk or cereals or bagels. There was only coffee, juice, white bread and muffins, some red delicious apples and rotten bananas, and a waffle maker. That’s it. I didn’t have interest to go there the second morning. There is a microwave on each floor. There is no elevator. Overall, for two nights of sleep at a hotel that’s 20 min drive to the airport, I think it’s ok.

The room was clean and the hotel felt secure. However, there was a somewhat unpleasant smell in the hotel hallways, although it was something you could get used to. Another issue is that the shower water temperature, even at its highest setting, was comfortable but still about 10 degrees Fahrenheit lower than what I would consider ideal—especially on colder days.

Hotel Pacific Garden has great customer service

Didn’t know that early check in required an extra $20 but that was okay I guess. You could hear the water running whenever someone took a shower in another room. You could also hear doors slamming in the hall sometimes. No elevator and there were a lot of flies in the lobby to check in, but other than those things everything was okay. It was in a decent area with a lot of shopping centers and the hotel wasn’t bad for the low price.

Check in was a great experience. The greeter was very professional and listened to my concerns and needs and was able to accommodate. The room was ok. It was a little too dark for my liking. Areas in the room were dusty. TV didn’t work and maintenance was unavailable to fix it. Check out the next morning was different. As I’m checking out and had the greeter the card key, she proceeded to walk to the room we stayed in. She didn’t tell me what she was doing. How I knew is because of the TV screen they have at the front desk has every view of the hotel cameras. So I watched her the entire way there and back to the front desk. I felt that was odd, since I’ve never known of that ever happening during check out. I later found out that she did this because we are African American. This was done to other African American guest only. The lady then explained that she doesn’t do that to other guest because they are “international guests”.

Awful experience overall. To name a few reasons: The agent was absent every single time we went to the front desk. The room was in a way worse condition than depicted; There were multiple water damage stains on the ceiling, poor patchwork found all around the room, missing amenities upon arrival (e.g., empty tissue dispensers, and only two small bath towels were provided). It was also extremely dim with only one of two bulbs in the ceiling lamp working. My partner and I felt “catfished” by the property and ultimately decided that it was not worth staying here for our trip.

Room was great for the price. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast could've had a bit more variety, like eggs and bacon. But overall great experience, would 100% book my stay here again.

Staff were great, and they work hard to keep it clean and safe. Location is good- just a short ride from the airport, and lots of restaurants nearby. But the building is old and needs a lot of repair and update.

The AC was not working properly. The a/c made too much noise (loud) when turned on. A/C was not cold although I kept it on the lowest number during the day. Breakfast food could have been better and more preference. Oatmeal would have been a nice morning meal instead of bread and packaged muffins and donuts. What is the reason for having cream cheese when there were no bagels to toast??? At check out, your front desk staff did not say thank you and or ask how our stay was! And he seems irritated that I asked for a receipt. Need to improve on customer service.

They didn't have a clock, kleenex or lotion in the room. However, parking was plentiful and the room was clean. Breakfast was skimpy but they had fresh fruits so I ate apples and bananas. That was good enough for me. People who want substantially more will be disappointed.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room smelled like they had shampooed the carpets shortly before then let the room sit with the all the windows closed so that was quite a problem for us. Breakfast was limited to basically coffee, muffins, bananas and a waffle maker so nothing special. Luckily the place was cheap to stay at and the shopping center behind was really nice with plenty of food options around.

do not stay at this hotel - the “owners” named “Nick” and “Max” (at least that is what they claim) are rude, unprofessional, disrespectful, dishonest and belligerent. I stay at hotels frequently and this is one of the worst hotels on earth and should not be allowed on any reputable platform.

The staff were great. The hotel is very clean and relaxing. Loved the garden area. Shower was fantastic. Definitely a place I would stay again and recommend.

The hotel lists 'continental breakfast' to only offer toast, coffee, and waffles. The waffle machine was not heating and cooking the batter. Rating for the breakfast is 2/10.

In my room, facial tissues are out, kinda cheap towels. Rooms are quite run down. Especially, there are dead ROACHES. They put roach kill traps around the room. Breakfast options are limited, and it’s upstairs. There is no elevator, so not quite accessible. Pros: the many restaurants behind and around the hotel

I just completed my stay here with my daughter and we felt safe.There is a CVS about 5 mins walk and other food places walkable distance. The hotel room is equipped with a small fridge and microwaves are located on each floor. There is also cable tv. The room was cleaned daily and fresh towels each day. The young guy at front desk was so helpful and kind. I'd definitely stay again

Where do I even begin lol, ok so first off the maintenance lady her name is Christina is the absolute worst I don’t know if she has kids or not but she hates children, she let me wife know from the beginning that she could not bring breakfast to the kids back to the room. Now there is not any signage that specifically says you cannot take food out to your room, now while other people are taking food to their room she stands there and tells my wife that she can’t take food up while everyone else is taking food up. Another thing is the place is full of mosquitoes and everyone else is completely rude the front desk would talk to my wife as if she was a child but they would never tell me anything like at all ever but it seemed like they had something against my wife and children which blows my mind we are a family of 5 me my wife and our three daughters ages 6,5,3 so if you have a family I recommend you do not go to this place it seems like the staff is rude to women for some reason. Another thing is when you book a certain room they will give you a completely different room and they just will say that they are right and we are wrong I don’t know if it’s because they don’t understand English that well? Or what the issue is but please if you don’t want the headache of being treated differently for whatever reason don’t come here.

Quiet and clean property, got what I paid for: a place to sleep with a private bathroom and free parking. Continental breakfast was mediocre and included bite sized muffins, bananas, a waffle maker and tea/coffee maker. There are some cool stores in the area behind the hotel and front desk was helpful when I needed them.

The Deluxe Suite? Man, those showers are amazing. Plus, it's got a whole kitchen setup with a fridge and even little stoves – totally perfect if you've got the family with you. They usually have some sweet deals going on too. And the staff? Seriously cool, always down to help you out with whatever. My absolute favorite thing, though – and this is a big one – is sometimes you can see raccoons hanging out in the yard! Oh yeah, and they got laundry right there, so no need to go hunting for a laundromat. Plus, you can grab some breakfast there until 10 in the morning. Definitely try to ask for a patio room with the deluxe suite if you can – those are the best!"

We were so glad they had breakfast, coffee, a fridge and microwave - and the door opened out on a garden with chairs! So beautiful. It didn't have a hairdryer or washcloths, oddly enough, but our sizable room more than made up for it.

Hotel Pacific Garden is a good value for your money. It needs updating with a little wear tear, breakfast is just coffee and bread pretty much, but service is outstanding friendly and they clean your room every day.

Stayed here last minute, staff was wonderful, room had everything I needed. However there was damage done to the room I stayed. Looked like someone had lost their temper before my stay. However it didn't really affect my experience.

Very cool and inexpensive spot. Security deposit was super cheap and got it right back when I checked out. Staff was very nice and the 24 hour front desk was very helpful. Also a cool plaza behind the hotel with lots of Asian dining options and a big Japanese grocery store. Highly recommend, especially for someone getting in late on a red eye.

The area is relatively safe and convenient because it's right behind a Japanese supermarket and other cafes in a plaza. Single bed room had all necessities and was very clean upon arrival. Front desk was amicable as well.

The first room the hotel booked us for had unfinished paint, the toilet stopped working, and the window was broken. They changed rooms for us after lots of convincing, so that made things better. But very dirty hotel with limited things (pillows, blankets).

Location is good, the room was on the 2nd floor, which was a terrible ordeal for my wife, a stroke victim. No elevator available. The clerk did not offer an alternative ground floor room.

Property is very dated. Bathroom tiles looks original to the building. Louvered window in the bathroom allows outside noise in when closed. Tub drainage was very slow and took a while to drain. Toilet took a long time to refill, I thought it was stuck and wasting water. Beds were ok, room adequate but wouldn't want to spend a second night. Walked into the room and the window was wide open. The window screen was bent and warped and would not stop insects from coming into the room. Front desk was very nice. Weekend breakfast was sad. 1 of 2 waffle irons working. A few tiny mini muffins and one or two bananas. Drink fountain, coffee and hot water station. We ended up going out for breakfast.

Room was very spacious and clean. There are drinkable water station and couple of microwaves to use along the hallways. Backyard is very quiet and nice. Several restaurants, grocery stores and Target near by. Great stay.

The guy didn't get off his personal call in his own language. He just gestured to me for our passports and my credit card. He didn't advise where breakfast was (we found it by searching the next morning and it was surprisingly ok), and i have no idea where the listed pool is! The room was cramped. Shouldnt have had 2 beds in it. One bed had a plastic sheet, which is weird for a double bed. Mattresses fine, but pillows were fluffy nothings. New TV, which was the only thing new that place has seen in the last decade

The carpets looked like someone got murdered on them. Closet doors stuck in open position. Bathroom sink cabinet completely off the hinges. So gross we didn’t even want to sleep in the bed or use the water from sink.

Receptionists were nice and friendly but the building is old and needed a lot of repairs. A lot of bugs in the garden room even though they say they have pest control coming every other week. Lights were so dark and unable to see anything. Floors were not even. Seems like they are on the way to renovations. My friend stayed and she left cordless massager in the room which costs $600. I visited on the next day but it was gone.

It was an old hotel. The bed was very uncomfortable and everything was very outdated. The breakfast was horrible. The first night the room had a weird smell. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The bathtub had no water pressure and did not get very hot at all. Found stuff under the tv from previous guests which means they didnt clean well. Does not give you wash rags for the bath room and only 2 towels. Very limited tv channels.

Property had several restaurants within a short drive and was quiet. No elevator which is bad when you have heavy suitcases. Not enough towels in bathroom which to don’t realize till it’s too late. Bed was comfy. TV channel selection was limited. Property was clean and felt safe.

The Chinese woman who is the front desk discriminates against LGBT people, she ran me an hour before checking out and threatened to call the police asking me to leave the hotel as if I were a criminal and pay for more than a month for my stay.

Calm place, but need some renovation

Someone there is obsessed with ventilation; window was wide open when I arrived, seemed to be stuck; receptionist was willing to come help me close it. After I returned from an outing it was open again; this time I closed it myself. There should be no concern with ventilation since the bathroom window also opens! Bed was very comfortable with an attractive covering. Shower was like a fire hose; super high pressure (better than low pressure but probably wasteful of water). Room was fairly quiet with the window shut (neighborhood sometimes noisy). No microwave in room but there is one near the breakfast room. Breakfast itself is limited to waffles, toast, minimuffins and bananas.

Nice place for what you pay for. Also like that it is asian-based. The breakfast is less than stellar, and the complementary shampoo is a bit small, but it was clean and hotel staff were great.

Staff is super nice. Area is quite centric and quiet, safe and walkable. Shopping options quite close to the hotel.

So far i didn't like overall.

False advertising, booked a room with 2 kings, they don't even offer a room with 2 kings. They have a 1 king room. We needed a 2 bed room so the manager offered a room with 2 double beds for an additional CASH charge! We had prepaid through Expedia. The manager claimed it was too late to cancel and that it wasn't his fault, so no refund for remaining days. Besides this, there is a window in the bathroom that you can't close which little bugs fly in and it is cold. The shower head was taped to the wall. The sink and tub were very slow to drain. Hair dryer plug was broken showing exposed wires. Had to go through Expedia for them to negotiate with this hotel to get a PARTIAL refund. Will NOT stay here or recommend to anyone.

Very dirty especially the bathroom!! Clogged tub, tiny insects flying around the bathroom, broken window at the bathroom which you can actually be seen outside and we just have to cover it with the towel, dead cockroach under the sink and a lipstick stain on the pillow. The guy on the front desk was nice. But overall, it was nasty. Could have found a better place. This was my first time encountering these kinds of stuff in a hotel. Staying at Motel 6 at Barstow was so much better than this hotel.

I confirmed that my room has a king bed and when we opened the room was a 2 single beds. The receptionist was accessible to upgrade the room but was not good the description in the photos. Besides that we had a comfortable stay at pacific garden. OH, and the breakfast included is just waffles and fruits hehe. Not eggs, no sausage.

Toster and juice machine and knife, fork,supoon location at dinning room is bad layout.

I thought it’s more nice hotel because this name is Pacific garden hotel. But it’s motel. Also front desk worker attitude was not good.

I enjoyed my stay.

My family member stayed here and it was horrible. It was a prepaid room and the check in was a day late The room and bed was dirty. The shower had hair in it , the bed had stains , my family member was bitten by a spider, and there was a spider in the bathtub .There was no compensation for this inconvenience. Contacted the property and the manager and we received no assistance there either. My family member contacted Experian and they were rude and no help. I purchased insurance on this reservation not sure if that will help this situation but I'm not going to let this end without a further complaint against the hotel and Experian.

This hotel turned out to be more than I expected. Nice desk, table, chairs, & big tv inside the room. Everything fairly clean. Many stores & restaurants nearby.
