I drove into town, arrived in the parking lot to find two shady individuals loitering there. One had no shirt on, seemed to be living out of a car, and did not appear to be anyone I would want to be around, or even leave my car around. I left without checking in, will seek a refund if charged.

The staff here are great; The maids, receptionists, and Owners/long term residents-All of them were exceptionally customer service driven, well mannered, and minded their own business. The rooms are exceptionally large and spacious with original wood flooring and the electronics and furniture inside functions well. The shower pressure is probably the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel before. Soap, shampoo, and plenty of towels are provided by the hotel. The only problem with this hotel are the smaller species of cockroaches which will only appear if any food items are brought into your room, although, not very many. The hotel staff said that the hotel receives pesticide treatments and I wouldn’t doubt it by the small amount of cockroaches that I witnessed while staying here and when I only brought food into the room. They also seemed to stay only near the room door and bathroom area. The hotel must do better at employing more frequent pesticide treatments if they wish to completely rid the problem. Lastly, there is no elevator at this hotel and most non-smoking rooms appear to be on the 2nd floor. The stairs quickly become tiresome and steep both going down and coming up. The stairway railing on both sides of the walls are helpful but desperately require new paint and additional reinforcement. Soda can machine costs $3.00.

The facility itself is old, hallway carpets are dirty—needs major upgrade. Despite it all, if you want a decent, clean and comfortable stay, I recommend you stay in this hotel. I might book another night while waiting for my apartment.

The outside looks pretty beat up and creepy but the inside is cute and clean. It’s decent for the price and it’s close to Redondo Beach so it’s perfect for me. The staff was nice and I will be a returning guest.

I like that is quiet. I wish they had microwaves in the room and not in the front office. Little repairs need to be done to somebody in the rooms whether not it’s cool.

What I always liked about REDONDO BEACH INN is that the rooms are very cozy and for me it's peace of mind to relax without any disturbance or drama.That is the reason I always book a room there just for me alone.

Too many occupants in the room next-door couldn’t sleep. They were up till 3 AM banging on the walls TV extremely loud the hotel is easily confused by the initial one. I wanted to book on Pacific Highway which is similar to the name easy to make substitute but for the price I paid I would not recommend it for anyone that’s looking for comfort the best way to describe. It is last resort if you can’t find anything, and even then you won’t get a good nights rest poor bedding, poor pillows, not very clean bathroom head hair in the tub, the towels or slightly Yellow therefore unfortunate that I always bring my own towels

The quality of shower head, water pressure, mattress comfort vary from room to room. Many food options that are walking distance and Target store for your hair care, toothpaste,snacks, Starbucks inside!

This place is falling apart,i had a phone that had no button and believe it or not no cord attached at all .i tried calling front desk and realized the phone didnt even have cord.the remote to the t.v didnt have a back on it .everytime you picked it up a batteries fell onyo the floor.sucks big time hope i didnt bring bed bugs home.

Staff is ok til I told them about the roach running into my bathroom in the middle of the night as I'm peeing and made it seem like it's just a me issue when this place is legit the nastiest with water coming from their roof , refrigerators are rusting, tables don't seem clean , tv is old , lights are dimmed you probably should bring a light and everything is just old and outdated but it's "oh others don't have that issue with roach" didn't like that then they offered me to leave when I booked 3 days . Like it's a reason I booked and it wasn't to just leave .also they are just about the same price as better hotels . They told me if I get makeup on anything they will charge for that . lol I bring things anyways to cover my pillows because I do wear makeup and even after washing it off it can still be on the skin anywho I thought that was interesting to tell me I guess if ur desperate for a night or two this will be great. Not sure how it has a good rating

The property is very old and not updated. The room is crap, old stained curtains, super worn pillows that I threw on the floor. This was probably the worst motel I ever stayed in.

Never again will I stay here. I was sadly disappointed because it was frightening externally and internally. I have never seen a more depressing structure. I couldn't sleep because of it. This place is NOT worth your time or money. Over priced and very poor customer service.

It's basically not bad, but it was a little disappointing that the blinds were broken.

Rooms do not have a microwave or coffee maker. Toilet seats are worn. Air conditioning doesn’t cool very well. Fleas in the hallway.

My hotel room beds, headboards and floor between the beds were coated in ky jelly and smelled like feces. I did not detect this aroma until i laid down to sleep. The sheets, towels and bathroom were clean but everything else was foul.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable. My only problem was they have bed bugs and I’m still recovering

The room that I requested for was a 1 king bed cause I have an 2 yrs old child that sleep with us, didn’t get that. They gave us a 2 bed. The room that they gave us. The ac didn’t work.. it goes on for 10 secs the turn off. The phone didn’t have a plug to the wall, so the room phone didn’t work.

At first I was a little skeptical but once doing a one over on the room it was nice an clean. Everything worked as it should, the bed an bathroom no complaints. Tv worked fine an the refrigerator did what it does. Only down side was there was no in room microwave, but one is available down in the lobby for use. Overall I was satisfied an will use again if needed

The girl at the desk acted as if it was a bother to check me in. I found the name kind of funny, there's not a beach for miles.

I informed the staff that I was arriving late past midnight because of my flight into LAX. They assured me everything would be fine when I arrived to check-in. After arriving to the Inn I was quickly checked-in and proceeded to my room. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay at Redondo Beach Inn again.

It is an older hotel but was very clean., comfortable and cozy.

The property is old and not particularly well maintained. I'm good with "old" as long as it's properly maintained. The carpet in the hallway and stairs was filthy. The room was clean and well supplied. Generous off street parking and the surrounding neighborhood was decent. The staff was polite and efficient.

Even though check in time is at 2, I couldn't get in until a little after 3. I also did not have a microwave in my room, and no way to get one. Had trouble with the tv upon checking in too. Ice machine has been "temporarily out of order" since about March. And they don't have the Game Show Neteork on the tv plan. It would probably cost them between $1 and $3 per month. C'mon, step up your game.

The gentleman at the front desk at check-in seemed to have a bit of an attitude with me. I didn't appreciate that as I'm basically a friendly guy. The young lady in the morning was very nice and helpful. I was in room 209 for 1 night, Thurs 7/15. The light over the shower was out and the exhaust fan did not come on at all. I still feel let down that they won't add Game Show Network to their tv line-up. And the ice machine has had a "temporarily out of order" sign on it since around mid-April I think. Time to get that fixed- you've jacked up the room rates for the summer....spend a few bucks so the patrons feel it is worth it.

Besides all that it's a decent place. A light breakfast is offered every morning, but still no coffee. I thought they'd bring that back with covid restrictions having been lifted back on June 15th....

Well....the tv kept turning off via timer every hour. They have this issue in a few rooms and can't seem to solve it. The light closest to the window didn't work. The exhaust fan and light over the shower didn't work. The room smelled- as if the people in there before me left some meat in the fridge beyond the expiration date. I was in 209 from 3/31 until 4/2. Never encountered problems like this here in my many previous stays. Also, the ice machine hasn't worked for more than a month now. Somebody step up and fix this stuff. It's time....

it was a pleasant stay, the room was ok. My second night, the renters in #207 was very noisee at times. Well some people does not think about other people in close quarters.

I usually ask for a certain room when I stay here. It was unavailable this time, and they were working hard to make sure I ended up in a room I was happy with! I really liked that, and I was quite happy where I ended up, in room 223.

Check in was a hassle. Staff wouldn’t allow my partner to check in. I had to be present even if I had an emergency. Finally checked in late but was woken up by people in the next room. Walls are paper thin and their conversations were disruptive while trying to sleep

Redondo Beach Inn is a room because you want to save money and because this place offers really good deals. I HATE having to leave a deposit and am insulted every time Im forced to do so but either give deposit or forfeit your online paid booking.

Once again I had issues with the tv upon arrival. There was no signal. Not even sure how I fixed it, but after about an hour it was fine. Almost every time I've stayed here I have had a problem with the television. Somewhat upsetting.

There is always some issue at this place. I didn't have an ice bucket in my room. Asked one of the maids...no real help. I used an empty bag I had in my car from Vons.

No microwave in the rooms and had to walk up and down stairs to use lobby microwave. No smoke free rooms on lower levels. Parking lot in the rear was dark and toilet seat in room was broken.

Redondo Beach Inn is the only place I go to. The staff is nice, and every room is cleaned thoroughly everyday. They always make sure to have clean towels. Just all around a good place during your travels.

The beginning was fine, the issue came when it was time to lay down under the covers and sleep. I layer down under the covers, I was on my phone, all I see is something out of the corner of my eye on the bed. I quickly look, and it was some sort of fly or spider (first thoughts that came to mind), nay nay......I sit upright, move the pillow, and low and behold, a bed bug. Or I think it’s a bed bug. It was like a brownish-reddish/orange-ish color. I quickly sprang Orta bed, changed, and left the building. Didn’t return til morning to check out.

My staying was ok the front desk lady at night has and attitude I couldn’t get in from my phone to book more days but she won’t give me the price as the one online so I over pay !! I also call she say 3 nights is $248 but when I show up is a different price $298. And she say sorry I gave you the wrong price why you tell customers the price and then show up to pay is a difference price 😡

The place was neat but there was a hanging light by the bed that was micky moused by clear tape. We didn’t feel safe so we didn’t sleep there. We ended up leaving at 12 am.

We were next door to people who started arguing yelling fighting .hitting our walls and doors .stood infront our room door screaming!! Chasing in car in parking lot and a gunshot was heard!! Told front desk they blew me off!! Wouldnt even discount my stay or refund me my money!!
