We loved the property and we’re surprised add the exceptional location. It was also a moderate size and perfectly sat in the neighborhood. The breakfast was also exceptional.

Unlike some hotels like Hyatt, they do not have any liquor on premises. The hotel breakfast is strictly self-serve contintental. Muffins and Waffles are great though. Staff is friendly, place is clean, would stay there again!

It was awesome! We stayed there a couple years ago and it was in poorer condition. We could tell lots of energy has been put into it.

Comfortable bed, safe area, breakfast selection was good There was a funky smell in the room. There’s train tracks close by you’ll be able to hear if you’re sensitive to sounds in your environment.

The hotel smelled so good when we walked in the front door. We were greeted by a very sweet and helpful lady who checked us in quickly. The room was very clean, beds comfortable. Jam was so sweet and helpful this morning. If we get back that way, we will stay again.

We consistently have a wonderful stay at Fairfield Inn and Suites, Germantown. Kind staff, delicious breakfast included. This is a great location, in a quiet safe neighborhood close to shopping and restaurants. We love Sugar Ghost ice cream just down the street.

The staff are the sweetest!!! Any concern they had, they took care of. Breakfast and making your own waffles are yummy! The water pressure and the super hot water was wonderful!!!

We choose Fairfield Inn and Suites Memphis Germantown because it has everything that we need. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Close to restaurants and shopping. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Breakfast has both hot and cold options. We will stay here again soon.

This place was a mess. Walls were super thin. Could hear everything and everyone around us. The bathtub was stained and/or dirty. Went to the pool area where there was a ceiling tile out and laying on a table. Next we went to the hot tub which had very cloudy water, no jets working and s huge whole open in side of wall. Beds were very soft, towels had a yellow tinge. All the time we were there a big cart full of tools was in the hallway. This place is not worth your time AND Expedia charged us $24 over the actual rate at hotel!!!!!!!

The room wasn't bad but the tub had a very bad stain that we didn't feel comfortable standing in so we had to put a towel down to step on to shower. The pool water was pretty nasty and the hot tub was even nastier and didn't work. Staff was nice and breakfast was good but probably wouldn't want to stay there again.

Beautiful area of town. Breakfast wasn’t amazing, but it was good. The pool and hot tub temps were good, but I the pool room could have used some extra cleaning. Very nice staff, nice and clean room, and overall very good value for the price.

Staff friendly - breakfast didn’t appear to be monitored - half and half milk for coffee was empty - no regular coffe just decaf our first morning but desk clerk did get that those issues resolved - room clean

Air conditioning unit made a clicking/beeping sound every few minutes that made sleeping impossible. Room was HOT, 75 degrees in December and heat was still running. We tried fixing it to no avail. Finally went down to the front desk around midnight. They sent us to another room upstairs. Air conditioner was making the same beeping. We decided to just turn up white noise on our phones to try and drain it out. My husband did not sleep. Mattress was flimsy. You could feel every micro movement and it would shake. I woke up with back pain and neck pain (I’m 25…). Went to take a shower and saw that the ceiling was about to burst. There was a bubble filled up with water. Either a pipe burst or someone upstairs was flooding their tub. Could not use the shower. Shower was also stained yellow with mildew. Ran down to the front desk (really wanted a shower) and waiting for ten minutes before being told by someone eating breakfast that the front desk was in the kitchen cooking. Waited a little longer and they finally saw me and came out. No offer of refund, no apologies. Would not stay here. Go two minutes down the road to Hyatt. Cheaper prices and newer rooms. I also never got my shower that day :(

the breakfast was fresh but it was a bit repulsive when a client drop utensil on the floor and out it back for people to use. The lady at the desk was truly adorable and the treatment by staff was great. It was a holiday week so i didn't go look around much

The room smelled very musty and the carpet looked dirty. There were cracks in the bathroom sink. I will not be staying here again. I was here for work and could not sleep because of the group of girls next to my room that were loud.

A great stay while moving into a new place! Had two cars filled with our belongings and was very pleased with the safety of the area, I never felt uneasy leaving my car unattended.

The bathroom sink in our room had a very big crack. I specifically asked about housekeeping policy and was told we would have new towels, trash removed and bed made the next day. It never happened. Breakast was adequate. Forgot about the train noise seemingly right outside the window at 7am!

We arrived at 1:30am. Night staff was truly amazing. Helpful, kind and all around amazing. Day staff (mgr) was quick to get an attitude when asking about compensation for the tv not working and bathroom exhaust fan not working, she was dissmissive and rude. Telling me how the night staff didnt do their job correctly and how she has advised how to handle that situation for next time. On top of that, we wanted to stay another night to utilize the pool however it was closed. Something about ph balance being off. I get things happen. The room was okay. The beds are too high, bathtub has been painted and paint peeling off, toilet was all scratched at the bottom looked like hair in it. The air conditioner hadnt been cleaned in what looked like forever. Looked like it could have mold in it. I swear by Fairfield. But, I definitely wouldnt recommend this location to anyone.

Explanation, they overbooked, “we sent you an email” was the hotel’s response. Well, I get about a thousand emails a day - missed this one. I travel the world (work/pleasure) and have Never Ever had a room cancelled on me. Ever! I’m sorry — I thought the whole point of a reservation was to, you know… reserve something.

The service was exceptional....Jam at the desk was amazing. The breakfast was very goodwith many options and the back pato area was a great perk while my family swam in the indoor pool and hot tub which were nice...the pool was colder for indoors than I'd hoped but my boys loved it. Our room was roomy , clean and comfortable.

Brittany did an excellent job with assisting us and making sure we were taken care of during our stay! We felt at home and were treated like family. She deserves a pay raise! We will be back

Property located in a very quiet neighborhood. As an older woman traveling alone, I felt very safe. Front desk staff at check in and out were kind, friendly and efficient. Room was tidy and quiet. Towels were several steps above what I’m used to. Excellent value for my money. Will definitely stay there again.

Our room was not that quiet. You could hear the people above us waking and running around constantly. And it was very loud in the hallway, with doors opening closing. The hot tub had hair and lint in, and INDOOR pool was NOT heated. The door lock system in our room was hard to master. The was not any type of security there, for the parking lot. The water purifier above the water fountain did not really make that well, and it took the water a long time to come out and it would not full our water bottles all the way.

Was a great stay but the pool and hot tub area should be available for guests at anytime if they are quiet an the jets on the hot tub were working properly as there were only 2 jets working and not very powerful.

The hotel is in a safe area with plenty of food options within a 5-minute drive. The property is very clean, with fresh-smelling rooms and common areas. Beds were comfortable, and everything felt tidy and well-maintained. Now the downsides: The hotel is clearly dated. Doors, elevators, and especially the shower tub show signs of wear and tear despite being well-kept. The biggest issue was noise. I was woken up around 2–3 a.m. by a loud garbage truck, and the nearby train was disruptive even from the far side of the building. Lastly, the pool was disappointing—closed the first day, and when reopened, the chlorine smell was overpowering, and the water didn’t look clean. That said, if you're looking for a decent, clean, and friendly place to stay in a safe area, and you don't mind using their pool, this hotel is a solid choice.

Everyone at Fairfield was super from the minute I stepped in the door until I checked out. Ms Jam went out of her way to ensure my room was right across the hall from my daughter and grandson.

It wasn’t what I expected, the day staff lady was super nice! She was so helpful with my check in and giving me some ideas on places to visit and eat while In Memphis and Germantown. She’s amazing and I can tell she tries to make everyone feel welcome. Now for the bad, my shower curtain was short and water was everywhere when I showered, I immediately asked for a new one and was told a work order had to be submitted. Day 2 no shower curtain, day 3 no shower curtain, day 2-4 no towels or room cleaning, I asked 3 times and finally on day 5 my room was serviced. My room smelled of moisture since I was above the pool maybe, but chlorine after a while can be much. Some staffers could use a little pointers on customer service, not everyone is from Tennessee or the south. I travel often enough to know what good customer service is. This hotel was all that was available due to Memphis in May festivals. Overall this is a beautiful hotel but could definitely use some help in the customer service department as well as the rooms. Had a blast and thanks for having me!! Lastly, the breakfast is amazing.

They got pool and hot tub working

The staff was great and super polite but a lot of the electronic door locks didn't work properly the breakfast had equipment that didn't work and while we were there there was some sort of trip going on because the pool had over 20 children in it.

My overnight stay was good. What I didn't like was no privacy shower curtain in the bathroom.

When we arrived at 5 pm, there were signs on the door and at the front desk saying there would be no water from noon-5 to fix a plumbing problem. The water was on again around 7pm. It was a tiny bit of an inconvenience but, we were going out to eat and were able to hang out at the pool and hot tub so it really wasn’t a problem. Other than that is a very nice hotel. Friendly staff and nice rooms

I booked this hotel because it was the only one in the area in/around Collierville to have both indoor pool and hot tub. I check in to find they are out of commission.

Would stay here again. The staff were amazing- maybe the friendliness I’ve ever run across. Everything was great except we could hear the people in the room above us very easily- and while I don’t think they meant to be loud, I’m not sure if the issue was them or just the hotel The area felt safe and was easy to get in and out of places.

Great service, clean hotel

When we checked in, the clerk told us that a new owner was making repairs as fast as possible. Good - but the hallway smelled like chemicals. The doors in this property are dangerous. Sometimes the handles need to go up, sometimes down; a child in the room across the hall got locked in for a while. The card reader on the outside of the building did not work so they told us a workaround. It did work - but anyone watching could use it to get in! No security in other words. The bathtub had been refinished and was peeling horribly. The staff was polite and professional - most were even friendly. I felt sorry for them as they had to carefully cover for the inadequacies of the property. As repairs are made, this may be a great property. But for now, ok is the best we can give it. We will say that we appreciated 2 improvements from our previous year's stay: a microwave (not available in every room yet, ask the clerk) and a chair at the desk.

Great hotel, very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Hot tub wasn’t working entirely and pool ran out of towels but a huge group had just gone through so not entirely their fault. Breakfast was good and nice variety but very short window to eat. The alarm clock in our room went off at 6am and it was hard to shut off. It was also set to go off just before check out which made us feel rushed. Overall nice hotel, friendly staff, would stay again.

Perfect stay for my parents and me to be in town for my son's college baseball games. Great service, clean and comfortable rooms, several nearby restaurants and shopping, short drive to Memphis and surrounding communities.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Having never been to the area, I wasn't sure what to expect. The staff are some of the friendliest people and the facilities were immaculate. Nice area. I am VERY picky with everything and complain about EVERYTHING....but not one complaint about this place.

We arrived late to our hotel because we were driving in from out of town. We were upgraded and that was amazing! The room was clean and we slept soundly. Breakfast was good in the morning as well!

Wonderful front desk service. Housekeeping never came in my room for the 3 nights I was there. When I first got there I had to call down to the front desk to get towels. Only bath towels had been provided initially. I also had to notify the front desk to relay to Housekeeping to empty my waste baskets. Of the 2 in the room, only 1 was emptied.

Our room was decent it had a stench smell to it , the bed was not as comfortable compare to other hotels at the price range. Breakfast was decent to say the less. I would not go back , for a Marriott hotel it was the worst one I had stayed at not to thier standards especially for the price
