Best continental breakfast I’ve had in a very long time! Hotel room was clean and comfortable.

The location is ideal, the neighborhood is safe, pleasant and with plenty of restaurants close by. Reduced level of services at the hotel.

But by the time I got to the room, apparently maintenance had done left and could not do anything about that part. Other than that, everything else was great. Hyatt Place Germantown was a nice enough place to stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. My only complaint is the rooms have refrigerators but NO microwave. I was shocked because I'm used to both in a room.

This was our second visit to this location. Everything is clean and well maintained. The adjacent streets are quiet. Rooms are spacious. Good value for your traveling dollars. My only disappointment is breakfast. Coffee was bland and not hot. Food was poor quality.

Booking a hotel sometimes can be a crapshoot. This specific hotel was everything we ever want when we get a hotel. Clean, spacious, not 1970's painted over amenities, not $500 a night, in a great area, even the breakfast in the morning was quality and worth the time. I genuinely will start looking to book at a Hyatt Place whenever I travel now because this place was exactly what I wanted.

Our showerhead sprayed water everywhere even outside of the shower and got the floor and toilet all wet. Called to tell them and they said maintenance had left for the day so we just dealt with it for the 4 showers my family needed. Beds were not comfortable.

Another issue I had was one staff person failed to change the printer cartridge after I had asked for assistance. Below average rating accept for breakfast, parking and security.

Nice hotel. I stay here often for business travel. Clean property with a decent breakfast.

Stay was good but disappointed in management. I made a mistake in booking online. Wanted a stay on 4/15 but booked for 4/27. Did not realize until confirmation received. Tried to correct date but was denied by location manager. Had to make a new booking without getting a refund from Hyatt. Very upset.

We were there on April 7th and the air conditioner did not work properly. Instead the heater went n and could not be turned off. The room temperature reached 80 degrees. No maintenance on site to help. We complained to desk staff who took our phone number but we never received a phone call back. We were having a good experience until that point.

This hotel is always a good choice. It was quiet and peaceful, very spacious and everything was clean. It’s always our go to when we are in Memphis

This was our third stay over the course of two consecutive journeys from Oklahoma to Augusta GA. We stayed here last year both on our way to GA & again back to OK. This year, my son (22 yrs) commented that this hotel was the best of the 5 or 6 we stayed in over the course of our trip. The rooms are spacious, very clean, the staff is always very friendly and the location offers many surrounding dining options etc. I highly recommend this Hyatt for pleasant stay is what feels like a very safe area near Memphis.

Quiet space, comfortable room and bed, pet friendly, secure with helpful and friendly staff, well run and maintained breakfast.

Room was on top floor and in a corner which happened to be quiet thankfully. Room was adequate for the three adults. Only true complaint was the mattress was worn flat from likely being the most slept in spot, over and over. After laying for longer than 20 minutes the mattress compressed to hard flat like an old worn out chair cushion. Maybe other rooms have newer mattresses? The included breakfast was good. Location was easy to get to. Room was clean. AC worked great in our room. Room did not have any weird smells for which I was thankful for. Despite the mattress, I'd highly recommend.

I had a broken coffee pot in room and it was replaced within the hour. My sister needed a shower stool, and 1st staff was unhelpful. A 2nd staff person got it done.

Hotel is nice. First receptionist at the desk that checked me in was very nice. However, once I got to my room (403) the AC wasn’t working properly. Called front desk and the gentleman that took over for the first receptionist was no help at all. Said maintenance left at 6pm and there was nothing he could do, but apologize.

outdated room. I like the living room area but felt we couldnt really sit on the couch bc it was stained. So that area went to waste. Rust stain in the toilet bowl. Felt like i had to walk around with shoes or socks. Bed was clean & commmfffy as were the pillows. Lots of mirrors so me my fiance and son could get ready at the same time. The breakfast was decent. It sis the job. There was sausage, potatoes, pancakes, eggs (i think from a box), oatmeal and muffins i believe cereal? Apple and orange juice water coffee. Im a bit of a germophobe so i probably wouldnt stay here again bc it it ao outdated it feels unclean. Staff was suuuper nice!

The main issue is that the bathroom was horrible. Getting in and out of the small bathroom was difficult because of the door opening inward. The shower took forever to drain and the shower partition didn't go over far enough to block water from coming out. There was standing water in the bathroom after the shower was used. Very unfortunate because the rest of the stay was great. The room itself was spacious with lots of storage and counter space. Also, the beds were comfortable, my kids loved the breakfast choices, and the staff was very nice. We would love to stay again if/ when the bathrooms get remodeled.

Exhaust from an outside car came in through the air conditioner. Curtains still let a lot of light in the room early each morning. No full shower door. Shower wall was incomplete, with water easily spilling on the floor. Loud whimpering dog could be heard during one of the afternoons.

Clean room that felt a bit older. Bed was comfortable enough. Check in was easy and that staff member was friendly. The hot water happened to be malfunctioning at the property on a 35-degree day, so that was a problem. We could not shower without freezing. After bringing that up to the front desk staff during checkout, I requested a water bottle which she said I had to pay for. I thought that was a bit ridiculous after the fiasco with the hot water. I honestly think they should have discounted rooms for all the guests.

The was no hot water to take a shower. The TV did not work. Should get a refund.

I didn’t give 5 stars because carpet on the floors inside the room. I know most times they don’t shampoo the carpet’s therefore with people constantly coming from walking outside no telling what germs you put on the carpet walking in the rooms with shoes on so I believe all hotels should be hardwood floors something you knew would have to be mopped to stay clean

The hotel was great overall but once we got in our room I noticed stains on wallpaper and in the tub. The ac unit was really loud and woke us up multiple times throughout the night. On the positive side the staff was great and the breakfast was great!

The property was decent. The room was clean, spacious, staff were friendly. But I was informed that they don’t have cleaning service on daily bases and only offer every third day when I informed them that my room was not cleaned the following day. I stayed only two nights. The property clearly says daily cleaning service. If I would have known this I would have picked a different property.

We stayed for 7 days, and found the location to be very convenient to everything in Collierville and Germantown. The room was quiet, staff was friendly and accommodating, and our room was quiet.

Charged $3 for bottled water was a bit much but would stay again.

My husband and I checked in on Friday July 25. Our room was not cleaned on Sat. We inquired at the front desk and were told rooms are cleaned only every other day. Odd. We left for the day on Sunday and returned and the room was not cleaned and the bed linens not changed or new towels given out. This is inexcusable for a nice hotel. Two times when we went to the front desk there was no one there. When we checked in I had to call the hotel on my cellphone in order to have a human surface to check us in. On Sat when my husband waited at the front desk to ask for new towels the two workers continued to chat behind the counter and completely ignored him. This Hyatt needs to improve on both front desk service AND housekeeping. We were very disappointed and won't be returning.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable, but I did notice that the rooms could use a bit of an update. A fresh coat of paint and some modern touches would go a long way in improving the overall feel. The staff was friendly and professional, and check-in was smooth. Room was comfortable and spacious. We were not cramped with 3 adults 2 kids. Breakfast was hot and tasty for a Hotel breakfast. The bed was comfortable, I just wish they would provide extra pillows and comforters in the closet. Especially for the Couch sleeper person. Sheets were in the closet. Each bed needs 4 pillows.

The Associates were nice and friendly, the bar was closed until further notice but the stay was as expected. I always stay here.

The property maintains an average overall concentration in appearance, such as furnishings, bedding (pillows very uncomfortable); couch cushions so worn until they were no longer firm enough to keep one from feeling the frame of the hid-a-bed.

A bit off standard travel paths but a very nice pool and larger than typical room size, reasonably priced for a Hyatt Place. Great shower, good staff. Nothing negative to report!

Checking in and out was seamless- however the “in-between” was extremely annoying . I stayed 3 days and asked for service each day and didn’t get any service in my room- the blonde guy at the front desk was rude. Housekeepers are nice, but it’s like pulling teeth just to get towels or toilet paper! All employees are just awaiting their time to get off work and aren’t interested in helping anyone.

In my opinion this property needs to get back to what it used to be, to attract the families they want coming to a nice hotel in Germantown. We were there while a group was there who were extremely loud and disruptive. Just wasn’t what I was used to when in Germantown. I was pretty disappointed. Room looked dated. Odd way the door opened to the bathroom. Overall quite disappointed.

The place was super clean! We were welcomed as soon as we walked in by Stephanie. She made checking in a breeze.

2 Night Stay- This location was quite and very clean with access to many stores nearby. The staff was present and very helpful if needed. The breakfast was excellent. A different variety to choose from each morning. Yes I would definitely recommend this location to others.

The hotel was almost sold out. We were given a room that was obviously a last resort. The carpet was wet and there was mold on the bathroom wallpaper. I have photos to support this. I called front desk and they acted like it was no big deal.

Check in was fast, morning coffee real good. But the building is old, the carpet really dirty. I like Hyatt but I was expecting more from this location.

This was a fantastic experience! Our room was fantastic, clean, cold, quiet and spacious. The bed was so comfortable, I slept great! We had dinner at their little restaurant/bar and it was delicious! So nice not having to drive anywhere after arriving. And great staff! I give it my highest recommendation!

The friendliness of the staff makes your stay worthwhile. The rooms are very clean. Staff seems to be overworked, but you never know if they are stressed because they speak to you as though they have all the time in the world. And don’t skip the free breakfast! Top-notch!!

This was our fourth stay at this location and we've been pleased with the floor plans for each of the rooms. The service at the front desk is always excellent. We understand that the property is a little dated, but otherwise--it's still a nice facility.

One lady I saw two times, black lady mabye early to mid 30's and then another lady on friday morning - I think reddish blond hair about 30. Both were amazing and they made the stay great. This Property is in a nice safe suburban area, about 24 miles from downtown Beale street. There are a nice selection of restaurants a mile up the road, but the hotel has food options if needed. We were happy with our large and spacious room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar before bed.

Bathroom set up was horrible. Cramped shower, only3/4 enclosed bath and toilet area swamped wall paper peeling of walls carpet was stained /soiled. TV difficult to use. Wifi also not user friendly had to get front desk attendant to help. Staff very helpful, accommodating and friendly.

We stayed here a couple years ago and it was really nice so we booked it again. Unfortunately, the experience was much different. There was not always someone up at the front desk, the elevators had a bad smell and the room was very dirty. I wore slipper socks while in the room - they were black when we left. The walls need repainted, there were stains on the carpet, the bathroom floor was dirty, tons of dust in the corners and behind furniture, the bathroom fan didn’t work, our tv had issues. I will note that the counter tops and tables appeared clean on the surface and we had no issues with the beds. The room itself needs updated with fresh paint and flooring.
