Overall, good location a good property could use a little spruce up but I was still staying there again

Staff wasn’t rude but definitely wasn’t friendly or informative at check in. Didn’t say two words to me. Our room wasn’t very clean either but it was just small things like the shower head and the windowsills. The ac sucked and it felt super humid, almost wet in there.. the bed was alright and overall it wasn’t awful. I’d probably pick somewhere else next time though.

Bathroom doorknob was broken.

Housekeeping didn’t clean our room when they were supposed to.

My reservation was not honored when I got to the property and the manager was not helpful.

The breakfast offering was dissapointing, to be honest I expected more variety, especially as a Kosher-observant diet customer.

I haven’t had a good experience with this hotel, so unfortunately there is not much I can say about liking it. I do not recommend booking these facilities. The hotel staff were very unhelpful. There is absolutely no public transport heading up that way in the evening. I phoned them on my way from the airport to ask for a shuttle or suggestions how can I get there using public transport facility. No suggestions were made and I was told they can’t offer a shuttle either. I was stranded in a middle of a night waiting for uber to arrive for 2 hrs. When I got there the receptionist at the check in desk told me that my credit card has been declined, so they couldn’t authorise the payment. I offered to pay by cash instead. Cash payment has been taken, but a week after I departed from the hotel, they have taken a duplicate payment from my credit card of what I have already paid by cash on my arrival! In addition to that, I have sent them a number of emails to investigate the error on their behalf and refund me the money, but none reply from the hotel has been received up to date (which is two months later) UTTERLY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Nicely maintained property with comfortable rooms. While we would stay again, the main drawback was the amount of noise. We could hear the footsteps from the room above and the property's location right next to I-294 meant being seranaded by traffic noise all night.

This was a great hotel in a nice calm area. The staff was respectful and the rooms were super clean. I have no complaints and I look forward to staying here again when I’m back in town.

This hotel is convenient when trying to save some money! But the hotel needs renovations asap! Seen a couple holes and paint coming off the walls , the bathrooms are very small but very convenient and near a lot of food places. The staff was helpful as well

When I arrived, the hotel was fully booked however, the Front Desk made a room for me. Although Expedia had messed up my booking however the hotelstaff were very helpful and and gave me a room for a nice rest before my early morning flight. The rooms were extremely clean brand new and the vanities were great. The coffee was excellent and so was the bath and shower utilities. They even arranged for a free shuttle at 4 AMfor me to the airport, which was 15 minutes away overall very grateful to the manager and the facility.

We booked this property for the affordable rate and proximity to the hospital. The rooms are small but clean and breakfast was just fine.

We were in the area for a concert, and really liked having a room, which included a long counter, counter height fridge/freezer, microwave and deep sink so we could prepare our own meals...Our King Room with Single Sofa Bed was fantastic, in that the bedroom & bathroom were separated from the sitting room and mini kitchen by a set of french doors. The decor was modern, but not steril, with a lot of wall and carpettextures, and the 'kitchen' and bathroom sported quartz countertops. Each room had large TV's and separate temp controls, so we could keep the bedroom colder, as we like it. The bed was very comfortable and there were 4 pillows, 2 firm and 2 fluffy. We brought all cotton flannel sheets and a cotton blanket from home, as we've stayed in hotels where sheets and blankets are polyester (plastic) that don't breath and we don't want to repeat past uncomfortable hotel experiences. So we slept great. Breakfast was fairly decent, with scrambled eggs, or biscuits & gravy (of which I do not understand the allure) but no meat like bacon, ham or sausages. They had a waffle maker, bagels, toaster, etc and things like fruit cups, mini muffins and fresh bananas. This hotel was an incredible value and we would gladly stay again and definitely recommend it:)

clean, quiet area

We had a nice stay for one night. Room was a bit on the smaller side for four adults, but we had a restful night's sleep on the side opposite the highway. Chose this location based on reviews mentioning cleanliness, and those reviews were not wrong. The hotel had updated facilities and was incredibly clean. Beds and pillows were comfy with crisp, clean sheets. The small gym was a pleasant surprise with nice equipment and lots of weights. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a variety of both hot and cold foods, with the waffles being a highlight. We've had better breakfasts, but for the reasonable room rate, it was good. The restaurant next door was also convenient for dinner. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when in the area.

It was an awful experience. The front desk clerk was not helpful and I think on purpose. I think he rented out my room that I booked, and paid for third party, to someone else, for cash under the table, and then told me that my credit card was declined and asked for the last 4 digits of my credit card. When I hold him. Expedia doesn't tell me the last four digits of their virtual card. He looked a little surprised that I knew I was talking about and told me I would have to contact them directly when I know that. Usually the hotel staff does He wouldn't answer the phone while Expedia was calling, he would just say still not working, while I was chatting with the Expedia rep so I knew it was them calling every time the phone rang. Even though Expedia assured me several times that it should go through and I even offered to pay cash or remake the reservation myself or whatever was needed, while staying completely calm for 3 hours, he eventually told me it wasn't going to work no matter how long I waited and it was definitely on expedia's end, funny thing is The hotel next door, it worked just fine, first try. I stay in in hotels 200+ nights a year, this proprietor picked the wrong random person to try and pull something like that on. I hope he is held responsible. If He'd been honest up front right away and told me I'm sorry your room got rented to somebody else. I would have gone next door and got a room, save over 3 hours and moved on with my life.

Usually, I booked with this hotel because it’s close to my work and all my friends but the last two times I worked with this hotel first day was OK second day with this winter at Chicago. I have no heat in my room. I talked to the front desk since morning. I told them there is no heat in my room he told me they will fix it, but they didn’t until I came back to my room at night. There is no heat I back to the front desk. I told them the room it’s freezing. There is no heat in my room. I cannot sleep at this room. He told me I can’t do nothing if you want to change your room. I have all my stuff in my room but anyways and second day it was OK. Second time I booked with this hotel also as usual because it’s close to my work and everything everybody when they book the hotel they checked where they come with the hotel on the website. They said it’s Smart TV when I came to room. I told them it’s a smart TV but their remote control it’s not smart. Can you give me one? He said I don’t have anyone. I can’t do nothing. Wait until tomorrow to change the room for you like what of the other room they don’t have this remote control he told me I cannot do nothing right now because I don’t have the remote control. Smelling of their rooms are very bad not cleaning good bathrooms. You can see hair everywhere. Bed smelling nasty weird also shampoo, body wash conditioner smelling very weird. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

The room was a little small for two beds, but was perfect for us as we were only there to sleep. Breakfast was delightful, as there was a lot of variety to choose from. Staff was super nice!

Very loud traffic sound all night

Bathroom was tiny. It felt like an airplane lavatory. Room was clean but sheets were a bit too used and threadbare. Saturday evening was too loud with a party/concert going on nearby until 11p.m. Breakfast buffet was OK, but nothing special. OJ, for instance, tasted too powdery, artificial, and watered down. Some of the staff were hard to understand when speaking in English. Very disappointed guests here. Not planning to return to this unwelcoming property again.

Your staff accommodated me when I called to let them know I was having issues with my flight coming in and would be checking in late, at some unknown hour. Thank you for coming to the desk so quickly at that late hour. I was exhausted and not needling to wonder if someone was coming to give me a room key was great.

Our stay was brief. Our bathroom was not clean with toothpaste and dust in back of toilet lid. Beds comfortable and semi quiet with exception of traffic and airplanes overhead. Our check was easy and front desk person friendly. Overall I would stay again.

Strange experience: I had to send a copy of my Driver License for ID: but when I got there I had to present it again, as though I had not submitted it on line. The receptionist person was put out of sorts when I asked him why I had to present him with my DL again. Room had no smell and clean. The coffee in the room was awful. The shower was a bit wonky but it did work. I did not use anything except the bed, coffee machine, shower and toilet. Toilet was very cramped in a corner - I could hardly wipe myself after using it!! Towels were clean, soaps/shampoo/hair conditioner in large pump bottles. Breakfast was very good,selection and layout.

It was overall a great experience given that we only stayed there during night time for 5 nights.

It's impossible to take the positive reviews for this hotel seriously. The constant noise from the lobby, including loud check-ins after 3 AM, made a restful stay impossible. This is a severe operational flaw that management needs to address.

We arrived to check in and the front desk stated there was no reservation and no availability. I called Expedia and they credited our account. In the panic we quickly reserved at a nearby Marriot.

The hotel is by the main road, very very noise. When we checked in, the front desk man was very unfriendly. We will not stay in this hotel if we come to this area again.

I entered the bar, but the phenomena and bathrooms that were only seen in ordinary inns on the ceiling were moldy. It doesn't make sense to call a hotel, and I don't know if it's a manager or owner, but it was too unfriendly.

Lots of parking and safe and quiet area

Our room was very clean but noisy. It felt as if the highway vehicles were inside our room. We heard all the footsteps on top of us and in the hallway. Breakfast on Sunday was horrible. There was nothing to eat, staff wasn't replacing empty stuff, yogurt machine wasn't working, the eggs were not ready. It became better on Monday and Tuesday though.

This was the most affordable option in Glenview (by far) so we chose it mainly based on budget. But we ended up being pleasantly surprised by how clean, updated, and bright our room and the lobby were. Plus, the front desk staff (Shubha?) was very friendly and helpful. Another bonus: the hotel is close to a H Mart and several restaurants. Will stay here again when visiting family in Glenview.

Rooms near the highway have serioisly loud noise throughout the stay, day and night. Hotel should take action to improve the noise problem. Other than that, the hotel is great at wonderful location.

The hotel is in a nice area with plenty of restaurants around, but the beds were super uncomfortable and has indentions from people sleeping on them. When I left a review with them, the manager called and tried to argue that all the mattresses were new. Everything was clean, the waffles were good, just don't look for a good night's sleep.

The room was nice, with the exception of that fact that it is RIGHT next to the highway so 5am, the traffic is loud. The owners of the property will not work with you. We needed to change rooms due to a medical situation and they would not accommodate, even though they were not full. I could have booked the room I was asking to be moved to, and it was the same price, and they refused. Since I couldn't cancel, I would have paid twice. I know I did not pay that allows cancellation, and I should have, but I was actually trying to extend my stay and move to a room with the same price.

This hotel is a great value

The room was very nice with the suite. However, our bathroom was small and the a/c unit was very noisy. The breakfast was minimal. What really disappointed us most of all was that the website claims they have a pool, but once we got there, they said it was out of service. While they said we could get free passes to another pool 10 minutes away, that’s not ideal, since you need the pool close to your room. I also didn’t see any pool on the premises, which made me wonder if the description that said they have one is inaccurate. I would not have made a reservation here had I known the pool wasn’t available.

I have stayed here a number of times. The hotel is in a better condition since Best Western took over. Our room was a double queen suite. Very roomy. The bathrooms are very small, but are sufficient. We had to ask for shampoo and body wash, which makes me wonder why the cleaning staff had not noticed that before we did (while trying to wash our hair.) The only other thing breakfast is okay as long as you get there in time. I thought it was rude that they let all the food run down to near nothing as it approaches the e ding time. Thete was no yogurt left. Only 2 sausage links, barely one cup of pancake mix. We git down there 25 mins before the ending time. The attendant, who as worked the front desk couldn't wait to start cleaning up. Why people were still eating. That is not great guest service. I didnt get a break on my bill. I still had to pay for my stay which includes breakfast. I hope they rethink their service style for future huests. It just felt like they didnt care if you got a good meal, all it seemed like was you were an inconvenience.

The front door was locked early in the morning so when I had to go to the airport early in the morning, I had to leave from the back door which was very dark.

Front desk clerk did not greet us, didn’t give any directions to the elevator, stairwell, or to the room. It rained for a whole day and water was leaking through the window badly which was also near an outlet. It seemed to be an ongoing issue that mold had built up. Same clerk initially told us to wait for maintenance to arrive but we persistently requested for another room in which we were given. You can hear everything going on in the hallway, very loud and clear that doors were opening and closing. Bathrooms were clean but pretty small.

Clean,clean,clean! This hotel far exceeded our expectations. Room was immaculate. Front desk gentleman who checked us in was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was continental with a large chafing dish of scrambled eggs and a breakfast meat selection each morning. Complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby 24 hours a day. Shower was great, good water pressure and full sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash attached to the shower wall. Revlon blowdryer in the bathroom( so much better than the standard cheapy hotel blowdryers ). Ironing board and iron in the room worked well. Large tv, microwave and mini fridge in each room. There are several good restaurants nearby, a nicer pizza burger place in the same parking lot as the hotel which is open for dinner ( lunch on weekends), Korean BBQ across the street which had a line out the door in the evenings. We enjoyed an awesome brunch/lunch and the nice atmosphere at Elly’s Pancake house. Surrounding area is definitely one of the nicer parts of Illinois. This is a smaller hotel with ample/convenient parking. We will definitely stay at this gem again in the future.

We stayed here for two nights and it was wonderful. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Overall we had good experience 😊

located about 30 yards from interstate, very noisy, meager breakfast choices. Booked for 3 days, but only needed 2 as business plans changed.. but mgmt would not allow refund for 3rd night even when requested 36 hours in advance by expedia rep

Nice area. Rooms were good. Bathrooms are small, but overall a nice stay. The fresh yogurt at breakfast is really good.

I booked the hotel because my family have stayed there in the past. We mainly booked again because of the locality, pool and past experience. However, when we checked in, the room was less than expected, bathtub had some issues, which the management was not veru helpful with resolution. Additionally, the pool was so dirty with some kind growth in the pool, looked liked it hadnt been cleaned in several years. Totally inoperable. I would have checked out right then, however, my stay was non-refundable. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay there again

This motel is right on the highway so it’s very loud. My room had a large burn spot in the carpet and the bathroom smelled so bad I didn’t want to use it. I’m not sure what the other rooms looked like so I can’t speak to that. The breakfast area was nice and the food was good.

would love to see a king bed in the assessible room. All in all it was a great stay.

We were disappointed that the swimming pool wasn’t ready for use.

It was a very nice room for the price. Besides a few minor discrepancies. Like the hand soap and body wash dispensers in the bathroom were pretty much empty. There was no soap in the kitchenette area next to the sink. There was dried food stuck in the carpet next to the couch. Also, somebody’s under eye patch was stuck on the bedside table. Besides that stuff, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was very spacious.

I needed a hotel close to the city for the Beyoncé concert and this place was great. Friendly staff , informative. Breakfast was provided, standard waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, breads. Wish the pool was open but I wouldn’t mind coming back

Great hotel! Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Excellent recommendation for dinner our first night. Very clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again when we're in the Genview area.

Thanks to the receptionist we were able to change noisy room with windows facing the highway with a completely quiet one, as I am very sensitive to sounds. Thank you. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Chicago!

Great location

The hotel has been updated and the rooms are. Lean and bright. Beds are comfortable and breakfast was decent. My big complaint was how noisy the hotel was. Our room was on the side closest to the freeway and there was noise from the traffic all night. The floors are thin and footsteps from the floor above us were audible all night. The staff put a family on the floor above us and we heard kids running and jumping on the bed until almost 2:00 am. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.
