Good room and location. There was no coffee or snacks in the morning. I am an early riser and don't like to wake my partner by making coffee in the room- she wants to sleep! I also wake hungry so a donut or pastry is needed until we can go out...BECAUSE THERE WAS NOT BREAKFAST! Really- for this price and no breakfast. Also the bar closes at 10 pm and the restaurant opens at 7 am? I had to go next door to the convience store- not real glamourous.

The guest room could’ve been cleaned with a bit more attention to detail. Floors were not fully swept, drapes were broken and wouldn’t close not close all the way to block light. Room service must be requested daily if you want clean towels, bed made etc. For the price of the room, I feel this service should be standard. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We ran out of hot water the first day, as the hotel seemed to be fully booked. The worst part about our stay was the atrocious artificial smell that was pumped into the lobby and restaurant area. It was overwhelming and toxic. We were unable to enjoy these areas, as the toxicity gave me an instant headache. It is quite disappointing that a hotel that prides itself on sustainability would allow such poison to inundate their guests and employees. We loved the location and ease of use of this property, but definitely would not stay again unless this artificial toxic scent was removed.

Very clean room, was not noisy was quite nice. Bed was a little too soft for comfort but other than it was fine.

Everything was great, however, the room doors must be hollow because we could hear our neighbors conversations and people talking in the hallway.

The heated floor in the bedroom of the corner suite stayed on and I couldn’t figure out how to turn it off and didn’t ask the front desk how to do so. Although I’m sure it’s wonderful in the winter, it was so effective that the room was noticeably warmer than the reat of the beautiful suite.

The Exercycle in the gym wasn’t working which my husband has counted on to manage a condition he has but otherwise everything was great. Like the convenience store and coffee place right across from the hotel too.

The location, the restaurant on the premises, and the staff were great! The gym was good. The room was spacious and clean. However, both of the queen beds in room 418 were horrible and sagging and we felt like we were sleeping in a bowl. Every pillow on the beds were lumpy and super thick and couldn’t be used. We hardly slept.

Less than ok. No staff or cleaning staff to refresh your room or to bring fresh towels. You have to ask the front desk. The beds were not comfortable at all. It’s probably good for one night stay. The pictures online are misleading. And cornhole, it’s kid size so don’t plan to play. It is not a quiet hotel, you can hear room to room and floor to floor. We were on the 2nd floor and could hear the music in the lobby/restaurant. Its only convenience is a 6 min ride to Red Rocks.

There is a small bar for drinks and socializing but not much seating area. But I never saw it full/busy. Fun to write with chalk on the wall by the elevators. There is no drawers or room for your closes in the rooms. It's a hip cool vibe but no place to unpack really.

Liked the property, but we arrived late in evening to find three people waiting to check in, no one was at the front desk and the other people had been waiting for some time, it was another twenty minutes or more before someone showed, so by the time we got to our room it was almost an hour, midnight our time. No excuse.

Staff was amazing, friendly, and gave great recommendations nearby. The location was super convenient for Red Rocks.

1) The exercise room had a lot of broken equipment. The only bike and one of two elliptical machines was not working. 2) When checking in we waited almost 15 minutes for someone to arrive at the front desk. Apparently there was only one person on duty (at 9 PM on a Thursday evening) and they were dealing with an issue in one of the rooms.

I had a loud banging sound coming from the wall not another guest complained the next morning but seemed to already know about it and offered to discount the room but then did not.

Great stay! We will come back next time we are in Golden. Quick drive into town. Bar & restaurant in the lobby, wonderful coffee/cafe across the street for breakfast.

Perfect place to stay when catching a concert at Red Rocks! The atmosphere on a concert day is alive and festive, staff is fun and pumped up, guests are all hanging out in the bar and courtyard. The shuttle that operates from the hotel is well organized and worth the extra money. It makes the Red Rocks experience easygoing. Will do it all again for sure!

Tomatillo salsa with chips at Nomad were delicious so were fish tacos. We enjoyed our stay.

Great experience especially with how close it was to the amphitheater. Food (breakfast burrito and croissant sandwich) was so so good and everyone was super friendly and helpful.

My only complaint is the toiletries, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash seemed watered down or lower quality, and there wasn’t any lotion provided. For the price per night, I would expect better amenities in that area. Other than that, everything was great and I would definitely stay here again.

The only thing that bothered me was the shuttle service that appeared to be free for concert goers. $60 a person when a uber there and back was $20 total for two people. That just irked me you had a sign making it seem it was free when it was a crazy price. Would stay again if was going back to red rock show. I know don’t fall for shuttle scam.

Everything was according to plan, if not better than expected. I don't imagine it is always the case, but the front desk staff allowed us to check-in almost two hours early so we could change for a lunch reservation before our concert at Red Rocks. They also gave us suggestions on where to park, etc. Our 2 night stay was perfect!

This is the perfect hotel to stay at if you are going to Red Rocks. The staff was awesome. The rooms were clean and updated. The bar was a great place to get drinks before the concert. I just wish it stayed open later (closes at 10).

I actually had to leave my trip before I was even checked in due to being in an unsafe environment with my partner that I was traveling with. The hotel staff was contacted by my brother in another state to come retrieve me from the hotel lobby bathroom where I was hiding. Nora, one of the employees, came and rescued me and put me into hiding away from the person who was threatening me. Other hotel staff kept an eye on this person and helped me get away. I was so scared and extremely tearful from how thankful I was for the staff's kindness and their willingness to help me. So although I cannot speak on anything else, I cannot recommend this hotel and their staff enough. I am safe and unharmed because of them. And because of that, I will forever sing their praises and rate them 100000000/10.

The room was clean and the staff nice but our toilet paper holder was broken so the TP either went on the floor or toilet. Also, one of the electrical outlets was not screwed in and didn’t seem to cover the hole. The bed was uncomfortable. Not staying here again.

Stayed here almost 5+ times. Conditions of hotel get worse every time. To be expected though with the hotel aging. Last few times had maintenance issues. This time TV wasn't working. Instead of offering discount or offering free breakfast, hotel staff just simply said, "Sorry about that." We recommend this place often to others, but not anymore as might be embarrassing. My mom was embarrassed when she had friend come with her because rooms are so beat up now.

Our room was great upon check in, we rushed to get to our dinner reservation and didn’t realize the state of our room until our return. The bathroom shower had someone else’s bathroom products still in there; along with hair. There was a constant knocking in the walls in the bathroom. The bed was large but seems broken, you sunk into the middle of the mattress.

I’ll start with the positives: Good location & parking with Maverick right across the street & cute coffee shop nearby. Nice restaurant & bar with lovely outdoor seating area. Decor is west-modern but getting worn. Staff members were nice. Now some downsides: Checked in and hot water faucet on bath sink was broken. Instead of changing our room immediately, they said they’d send up maintenance. We sat awkwardly waiting, partially unpacked, not able to go anywhere or use anything. While my husband went down to request another room a maintenance man came up and after running out to grab a part, got it fixed. Unfortunately they had already given us a new room. I just think they should have done that immediately. We stayed 2 nights but they didn’t replenish towels, coffee, or cups. We got 2 bath towels from desk but they didn’t have hand towels or washcloths & said to check back. We didn’t have a chance & no room service ever came. The Nespresso didn’t work. It trickled & only filled less than 1/2 a cup even when continually pressing. & even if we wanted another 1/2 cup the next morning, we didn’t have any new coffee, creamer, or cups. In addition, there was some dog fur on the sheets & one scratchy blanket that looked like military issue or what movers cover furniture with. Breakfast were rubbery pancakes that were made with a tasteless mix. We didn’t get to try dinner. If they could fix some of these downsides it could be a fantastic place. I think it probably once was great.

trendy property with well appointed rooms. great mexican restaurant at the hotel with delicious margaritas and lovely outdoor beer garden. nearby i-70, red rocks, hiking trails, and other restaurants. minus one star for the beds- in room 208 they are AWFUL and lumpy.

This was truly a great experience. The staff was welcoming to both my dog and us. The ameninties are accessible and clean. I travel professionally and will definitely be staying here again.

The mattress wasn’t even flat- the sag in the middle was significant. I would. It ever consider staying here again. Worst bed I have ever seen. Also had no hot water in morning for shower. Tepid at best.

Not told upon check in that every other room on my floor had no working TV's, Not satisfied, was in town for a Memorial Service. Finding somewhere to shower just added to my grief and stress levels. I can’t really rate anything about the property other than how we were greeted. Electricity was out at the property. We were told they had no records of any reservations unless we had done pre-check in before 4pm the day before check in. We could come back later or find somewhere else to stay. We were not offered anywhere to put our things while waiting or no help in finding other accommodations. Definitely will NOT try to stay there again

We love this hotel but this time they put us in a room that needs some major renovations. Broken Tile, furniture all beat up, toilet paper holder broken and patched. Needs improvements.

Room was very clean and felt new. Bathroom was spotless and had fluffy towels and fine soaps and lotion. Ample room by the bed with a high back chair to sit with a side table. High ceilings, full length mirror and a closet.

Overall, it was a B- experience. The aesthetics are great and its very eclectic. The bar and restaurant area are really nice and accommodating. Easy access to the mountains and downtown Denver. My rook was ok, next to the ice machine room on the 3rd floor. Other guests were adults and no kids around, but I could hear the floor creaking above me and an occassional 15min duration of the sound of a dripping pipe. I assumed it was the wall that had a pipe running through it, and luckily I am a heavy sleeper, so I ddint bother to complain. The water takes a long time to get warm/hot. The amenities in the room (coffee maker was Nespresso) were nice. The EV charger is very slow and while it will charge it will be 12hrs to get from 30-80%. One EV cord was all jacked up and tattered. So, overall decent stay but left a lot to be desired.

The room was large, clean and quiet. The coffee maker was a fancy nespresso one. The breakfast isn’t included but the restaurant area looked modern and nice. I decided to get breakfast at the coffee shop down the street (less expensive and tasty). Would love to stay again in the summer

The room wasn’t cleaned very well and lacked proper maintenance. The bed was very noisy and obviously wore out. Shower head is way overpowered and needs to be cleaned. The room lighting was horrible and could use improvement.

Room was in good condition and staff was courteous. However little things like too thick and hard pillows, the bathroom sink that wouldn't drain until you stuck something under the plug to hold it open. Oh and this room was an accessible room. It had plenty of handles in tub to hold onto but step into tub was very slick, no bench and no mat. I am on crutches and after requesting a shower chair staff did bring it up. Also the light in the bathroom is far from the door awkwardly next to the toilet and difficult to find in the dark (no nightlight). So not terrible, just not the best.

The room was very clean and super nice. The only thing it was missing was a microwave. Great place. We've stayed here before and would definitely come back.

European style design was clean and efficient. Nice upper floor and quiet. Does show some signs of maintenance needed. Chipped paint and some shower updates. But since it’s a hotel focused on concert crowds attending Red Rocks I can see where the rooms probably take some abuse during concert season. Proximity to I-70 and distance to the tunnel is what made us select this stay to avoid a late night drive to ski country. I’d stay again based on the non-concert season price.

The hotel was nice. I loved the decor and ambiance. l loved the area and the outside patio, etc. The bar was good and the food in the restaurant was good. The staff were excellent. Our room was good. The bed is comfortable but not the best. The furnishings in the room were nice enough. The desk area and table under the TV and such were put together in an interesting manner - was not level and seemed pieced together from maybe a broken piece... The bathroom was clean and appeared nice but upon closer look the sink faucet did not fit property and moved when in use. The attachments to the bars in the bathtub were also not adequately adhered - they were all loose. The shower was clean but the water was only warm - not really hot. So my overall was good but I would not rate this as excellent.

I loved the location/accessibility of Origin RR! It was a quick and easy check in and overall stay. I would like to mention that it is lacking attention to detail when it comes to cleaning. Also, the coffee/espresso machine in my room did not work. I called the front and asked if they had a replacement or free coffee downstairs and the only resolution was to purchase at the cafe. If you are coming for a show it is convenient and you may meet others who are going as well which is a plus. Enjoyed my stay just the little things.

Location, location, location! This is the #1 advantage for this hotel if you attend a show at Red Rocks. The decor is cool as well. The service seemed subpar, the reception desk employee was quite aloof, did not set-up my key properly upon arrival at 3-4 PM so I had to haul everything downstairs again to get it fixed.It was not pleasant, to put it mildly, considering that I was awake sonce 4 AM Eastern time ( 2AM Denver time). He didn’t say a word, not a “sorry”, nothing. The food at the restaurant was subpar, but the service friendly. The parking was free.

This is a solid 3 star hotel. It’s not high end, but it’s not a roadside motel either. Staff is friendly. Little things need fixed. Only half of the safe number buttons worked in our room 322. The coffee maker was wonky, but worked okay. Conair has never made a decent hair dryer. The bathroom and shower is nice and room size is a plus. Overall, a solid 3 star hotel.

We loved staying here for a show at Red Rocks, the staff was super nice and friendly and the location of the hotel is great. We had a great breakfast at the hotel on our first morning, but they have a few stores walking distance including a nice little coffee shop. We got to explore around on the bicycles and it was gorgeous!

Friendly desk staff, but service in the hotel restaurant was slow. There were only 3 other tables taken, but we were ignored. We ended up asking the bartender for a to-go order to take back to the room which worked out just fine.

It was our first concert at red rocks. This hotel was an excellent choice! The staff was so helpful and friendly. Gil checked us in, and was so efficient and friendly. Jamie served us at Nomad, and he was an absolute joy!

Very convenient and clean. My family enjoyed the stay. The only complaint is electrical outlets and certain bathroom items need to be updated and replaced.

I booked a room for two nights because I thought it would be convenient for a Red Rocks show and because the images of the property looked nice online. At the start of my stay, I found the property underwhelming. The food at the restaurant was poor quality, and there limited dining options nearby. Other nicer and less expensive (with more amenities nearby) also offer a paid shuttle to Red Rocks. I would consider exploring those instead. My main issue with this hotel was the fact that the staff were completely untrained for emergency scenarios. On our second day there, the power went out, and people were trapped in an elevator. The staff could not even point us to the stairwells. After we found the stairwells and asked the staff to come and unlock the doors, they noted that they didn't know how because they were "new." If there was a worse emergency scenario (like a fire), and the staff did not know how to guide guests to emergency stairwells and exits, the situation could have been much worse.

Loved our stay at this fun boutique hotel! It was perfect for our concert seeing Megan Maroney at RedRocks! The shuttle bus to and from the concert was such a huge bonus!

Getting tired and worn

Loved everything about our stay at Origins Red Rock! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, the rooms were nice and clean, the beds were comfortable and the view out our window was amazing!

Staff was fantastic and the room was super clean. No problems with anything no noise. Everything was great. We’ll visit again first time to Colorado and really enjoyed the red rock area.

The room was larger than expected, and with an extra cot, it was very manageable and extremely comfortable. The staff was beyond friendly at check in, and the restaurant staff was amazing!

This was an extremely convenient place to stay if you plan on hitting the Rockies the next day or want to catch a show at Red Rocks. The facilities are nice and the staff is attentive. The bus transportation to Red Rocks is also convenient. I highly recommend coming here.

Beautiful property, close proximity to Red Rock Amphitheater and the paid shuttle service was worth every penny. We got drop off close to entrance and exit was super fast compared to others who drove themselves. Enjoyed the restaurant and options within walking distance. We spent a lot of time at Maverick for refreshments and snacks, liquor store near by also

Really cool hotel but very uncomfortable bed.

Have to say, the hotel is nice. The staff are very nice, helpful. The bar is GREAT. The food at the restaurant is pretty damn good. That being said, they are the only place near Red Rocks, that proximity does not allow a basically nicer Holiday Inn to charge the EXORBITANT price per night. It was not worth $496.00 per night. That was some BS.

Just a sense of apathy among the staff. Despite our request, our room was not cleaned the entire stay. No explanation or even an apology.

Definitely not worth the price. The gym is subpar and there’s no pool. Our faucet in our bathroom was severely leaking. If you’re going to a concert at Red Rocks I guess it’s a good spot for that, but if you’re on vacation it’s not worth it.

Fabulous as always! The staff is super accommodating. Kat went out of her way to get us dog bowls and a bed for our pups and we always live how welcome they make us feel. Bailey was an excellent bartender and Katrina was our breakfast server—also super friendly and helpful. We will be back! :)

The staff were helpful and quick, the property clean, and the service impeccable. I only wish that, as the closest hotel to red rocks, and the choicest location to stay when attending a concert there, that there were more food and drink options when returning from a show. The shuttle service was a major bonus.

TV in room didn’t work. Or in neighboring room. Screen showed the last time it functioned was a month ago. Staff aware of tv issues in our floor and said they’ve ordered parts. Therefore booked rooms knowing no TV. Offered to move us next day but that was the day we were going to be out more than in and we had already unpacked.

Literally the only issue we had with the property was housekeeping. We were not time at time of check-in that every day we had to request for housekeeping. Also, the 1 day they did come, they didn’t replenish the coffee pods or the coffee cups. Other than that, great location, great facilities, great food.

This is our second stay at this hotel. This time, unlike our last, the staff was generally apathetic. No urgency, our room was not cleaned despite our request over our 2 day stay and people just didnt seem to care. Bar prices were considerably higher on concert night.

Rooms were very clean, service was friendly and nice and aura was cool vibes. A little pricey for it being just a cool clean hotel and if it weren’t for attending a concert I’m not sure I would spend that kind of money for a pretty standard room and amenities.

It has a cool eclectic style. Clean. Could walk to coffee and other restaurants. Close to downtown Golden and Morrison. Beautiful trail nearby. Wish you had a pool

We had a clean, nice room. Our friends agreed that having a regular coffee maker would have been better and easier. I think as other reviews have mentioned, the hotel is overpriced for what it is, but we enjoyed our stay.

Clean room, comfortable bed. TV remote did not work, maybe needs battery. Bluetooth connection to phone to play music wad unsuccessful. Shower head adjustment was challenging. Unsecured WiFi not preferred. Toilet paper holder needs to be fixed as roll continued to fall. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Room 223.

Nice spot to stay if you’re seeing a show at a Red Rocks

The staff was fantastic! The room was quiet and comfortable. The food at the hotel was not to our liking but we found other places to eat in town that were an $11-15 Uber ride away.

There’s no other place I’d stay for a show at Red Rocks! Every single person who works there goes over and above for the guests. The rooms are perfect, the location is perfect, I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. This was my third visit and I’ll be back!

Easy, convenient, best stay if going to Red Rocks Amphitheater!

Furniture and surroundings in need of updating and repair. Thus is very close to the red rocks Amphitheatre anad had very.few transportation options..one shuttle leaving almost two hours before the warm up band...no taxi, no uber, no lyft for a two mile transport. The only transport pfferwd.was a.private car at $250.

Quiet location

For the price, totally not worth it. Room was falling apart. Too many things to list. Bartender Vincenzo was fantastic. Most the staff was excellent. If it was 130 a night ok fine but for almost 300. Ridiculous. I expected much nicer accommodations. Most of the fixes are not expensive. Paint, polish, replace bedding that is ripped. Those types of things. Won’t stay here again. Unfortunately. But for that kind of money I expect more.

I was not expecting to be located in what was effectively, a truck stop. There was no hot water and though I should have realized there was no pool - there were basically no amenities. People were nice, room was clean.

Great hotel, especially if you’re planning to attend a concert at Red Rocks. It’s got a funky, fun vibe! Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. Second time here and it won’t be our last!

My bed was completely worn out, and I kept falling into an area of the bed that was lower because there’s been 1 million people using that bed The mattress was not in good shape

Bed was uncomfortable and the price of this hotel was outrageous for what it was. Having said that, the people were nice and the location to Red Rocks can’t be beat.

The shuttle to Red Rocks was not included with the stay, which should be reconsidered. Service was slow in the restaurant when there were only 3 other tables, midafternoon. We stay in a lot of properties and this hotel was just average. The bed was very comfortable. It is very close to Red Rocks which is a plus, a short drive. There was also a great coffee shop within walking distance.

AMAZING! Wow, the Origin Red Rocks definitely surpassed my expectations. The staff is so kind, friendly, and just pleasant. The resort amenities are wonderful. My family and I highly recommend this hotel.

Overall this is a great spot - convenient, great staff, great bar/food options. The only slight negative was the lack of cleanliness of the outdoor space (lots of dirty dishes left on tables with no people sitting at them) and the missing corn hole sacks. Other than that the experience was stellar and we would definitely return. Also, the bar staff deserve a raise. I have never seen hotel bartenders so eager and willing to accommodate guests close to closing/after posted hours. Truly exceptional service from the check in desk and at the bar for sure.

Location good to concert, but really need a car to be able to get to stuff. Pricey for what you get; there are really no perks worked in.

Modern, clean hotel. Very convenient for Red Rocks. However, pretty sparce and minimal amenities in the room. Noisy Lobby bar with live music too loud.

Great and friendly service!

The staff at this property are THE best. Everyone we interacted with was really awesome. Our room was very comfortable, nicely appointed, and quiet. There were a couple broken items which I suppose is not surprising considering people are partying before/after concerts, but it didn't affect our stay negatively. There were lots of handy stores in the same parking lot, and also some nice hikes right nearby too.

So convenient to Red Rocks

Great location if you’re seeing a show at red rocks. Very little chance of getting to check in before 4:00. There was no bedding for the pullout bed and had to be requested.

Handicap access is a complete joke as handicap parking is in the backbit you enter through the front. The bed we had was really hard and pretty intolerably uncomfortable. There is no Tanqueray gin in the bar. There was a snarl of black hair in our shower and we are blonde/gray. If you are looking for an indestructible place to take your fraternity for a reunion.. this could be it! The place is built like a church camp ski resort. Every thing can be sprayed down with bleach and mopped. We did have fun and the convenience to Red Rocks is really nice. Just wish Colorado Style was more luxurious and comfortable than it ever turns out to be.

We stayed here not knowing what to expect for our first Red Rocks concert and wanted to play it safe. This was such a great stay and definitely exceeded our expectations! It has that chill Colorado vibe about it that makes you want to stay! Bikes available to rent for nearby trails. Walking distance to a local coffee shop, brewery, a handful of restaurants, and a gas station just across the parking lot. A short drive to Red Rocks Amphitheater. It has a super inviting bar area just steps away from the lobby and elevators providing a relaxing space to enjoy craft cocktails, beer, and bites. Or take your food and drink out to the front patio space for yard games. We will definitely be coming back here in the future! The rooms themselves were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Great for families or a couples retreat.

Vinny was a standout bartender. Friendly, accommodating and attentive to guest needs. Bar food and breakfast tacos were delicious. Great proximity to Red Rocks!

We only stayed 1 night for a concert at Red Rock amphitheater. The Checked in process was very easy and fast. They sent me a text for a check in registration and when we arrived at the front desk, I only have to show my ID and gave me my key. Our room view was really nice mountain view and love the free Nespresso coffee machine. spacious room and my son enjoyed the big TV. theres also coffee shops and gas station across the hotel.

Was going good til the power in our room went out at 11pm then had to pack our stuff in the dark and move rooms. Then the bed in the new felt worst

Our bed was horrific. Felt like it had been around for 20 years. Definitely needs to be replaced. There was also black stuff coming out of the vents and so much built up dirt in the bathroom fan. Sort of gross.

It’s a very solid OK. Would not stay again. Convenient to Red Rocks, but would definitely think that there are better options. Many broken items, dinged up furniture and dirty bedding in rooms. No pool. No laundry. Customer service was hard to get ahold of and did not answer my questions. Staff was cleaning kitchen items with a hose in the parking lot. Blood stain on floor of stairwell.

The restaurant is great, but there is not much to do that is easily walkable. I also recommend taking an uber to red rocks and avoiding the overly priced shuttle!
