It was ok but the next room had there tv to load all night long

The refrigerator froze some of our food, which ended up ruining some of our fruit we brought with us. There wasn't a laundry bag for dirty clothes. There wasn't any USB ports.

Our party had 3 different rooms and each of them was clean, comfortable and quiet.

Room was clean and spacious, staff was friendly and helpful, they also had a nice variety of breakfast options. The pool, hot tub and weight room were all well maintained. I’ve stayed there twice already and will stay again next time I’m in the area!

Room was not as clean as it should be. Breakfast was bad. Eggs were Cold, sausage was way over cooked. I told the front desk that my tv did not work and all she said it was on the wrong input. I told her that it should be on the right input. I took that as she did care about what I was saying.

There was also a pizza place across the road which did really good pizzas.

Hotel was in a great location and was very clean and well kept. The only complaint I would have is that the mattress is very firm and uncomfortable.

They lost power 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed. Beds are rock hard. Staff didn't have any clue about anything. No managers on duty. Very limited parking near the hotel. Cooked breakfast was very mediocre so plan on eating out.

None of the rooms we booked had working exhaust fans. All the staff seemed to be very miserable.

Family of 5 with 3 teens- did need to open window for adequate ventilation in middle of night. Breakfast hot food was lukewarm including omelet taco and sausage. Trash in parking lot. Had to provide personal information at check in that should come from Expedia. Some wear and tear in room. Had to request extra towels and sofa bedding.

The staff was AMAZING! We needed to change what kind of rooms we had, and helped us out at 1am.🌟Even though it was supposed to be allowed.

Only down side, this hotel has the thinnest walls and ceilngs in the west. Get ready to hear everything next to you, above and below. No ear plugs- no sleep.

Hotel is great! Staff were friendly. Room and the hotel were in great condition. The wall is a bit thin and we could hear the next door neighbor snoring for a while prior to falling asleep. But that can happen anywhere. We would stay here again because we feel safe and the cleanliness.

We only have great things to say about this hotel! From location to hotel service, everything was great! We had an early, quick check in, which was much appreciated after a 12 hour trip. The location is great; only few minutes from Red Rocks Park, 20 minutes from downtown Denver, and short drive to Breckenridge and surrounding ski areas. Excellent free breakfast. Ample and free hotel parking. Overall, highly recommend!

From the time we stepped in the experience was great. I wish I got the ladys name at the front desk on 12/13 around 6pm when we checked in cause she was great! Very informative about the area and gave the best options to get there. The room was clean and as expected. Breakfast was great and a good variety. We were just in town for a quick layover but would definitely stay here again when we come back. Perfect location to catch the sunrise at Red Rock and get some late night dinner and drinks in Golden!

Only negative was housekeeping knocked on my door five times between 9am and checkout, even with the do not distrurb sign… it was disturbing

The Hot tub was ok, needs jets cleaned out or changed not very strong!! Over all the place is clean a nice!! Staff is so very sweet a friendly!!

Easy access to Red Rocks and downtown Golden. Ask for a room away from the cleaning staff office and laundry. Staff works until 11pm in these areas and it can be noisy.

We first arrived at 11:30pm after a long day of flying - we’d stopped for food and had hoped to have a quick and easy check in to go up to our room to eat. We typically have no issues with hotels.com bookings. The lady at the desk clicked a few things, gave us our key cards, and then forgot as we were walking away to have me sign a form (this whole process took 5-7 minutes). I sent my partner up to the room while I signed the form. He called me and said “there’s a tag on the door that says ‘not ready’”. By the time I made it up he’d tried opening the door but it was safety/emergency latched and we heard someone IN THE ROOM! They gave us keys to a room with a person in it - thank God I was with him and not by myself, and thank God that person had the latch pulled. We went back downstairs a little confused and shaken and the woman at the front apologized, then spent at least another 15 minutes clicking on her computer to tell us that she doesn’t have any rooms with the same bed size. At this point my blood sugar was low, we were exhausted, and I was trying my best to stay civil. Told her to put us in whatever room they had available and we’d talk to the manager in the morning - funny how with the mention of a manager we immediately were put in a room. The manager then told us she wouldn’t refund any amount because we booked through a third party. Overall one of the worst, and most dangerous, hotel experiences I’ve had yet. The view from the room was nice and breakfast was good.

Overall nice place!

The hotel was fine - as you expect for a low budget place. The pull out sofa bed was terrible - so don't plan to use it (old dingy mattress, bar feel under bed).

Front Desk agent aloof, dismissive and mildly condescending. Seemed annoyed by my presence. Did book me into my room and give me a key, however, which is the most important part.

I reserved a specific room (Suite with extra floor space) which was detailed out with pictures. It was the most expensive room, but perfect for my purpose - a separate area for sitting with 4 people. Room cleaning from night before was way behind, still cleaning rooms at 4:00, which is when we checked in. We were told they upgrade us to presidential room, which is not a room on their website. They promised it was better than what I specifically reserved, and that "we didn't need the one I reserved because it is for people staying multiple nights". Our room was an accessible room, without the separate sitting area for 4, instead a long wide hallway with couch and chairs against the exterior wall. 1/2 of the seating was in the bedroom. Bottom line, they lied at check-in, and made a shift to accommodate their goals, instead of what I specifically reserved and paid for. My feeling is this hotel has guaranteed business most nights, is overwhelmed when busy, cleaning staff is too small or not efficient, and management is questionable for the amount of customers and money coming through the door. Of course when I make a reservation for the most expensive room with a specific layout, don't change my Room and lie about the "upgrade".

Property was pretty quiet especially during a busy time with Cheyenne Frontier Days going on. Had to wait a bit to get into room as they were so booked. But even being close to railroad, it was quiet.

This property is way over priced. This should not be an 8.6 rated hotel for the price it cost and the condition of the rooms. The beds are terrible there's no fan in the bathroom so if you take a shower it gets super steamed up and let's not talk about if someone has to go #2 then it's bad for an hour! Paint peeled off the vanity cabinets stains on the carpet and couch. This shouldn't even cost $150 a night let alone the over $300 a night it cost. I won't be going back to this holiday inn express again.

The following day our rooms keys didn’t work, and we had to return to the front desk and was issued new keys. Breakfast was decent, but ran out quickly. Between the delay, new room cards and breakfast running out, maybe we should have been offered some kind of discount

This property was convenient as it was in Golden where we needed to be. Beds were quite hard and not real comfortable. Hated the fluorescent lights in the bathroom. No woman wants to put on makeup under these type of lights.

This is where my granddaughter and I stay when I come to the Denver area. We love it.

The room was average, beds were decent, and it was quiet. The toddler eye level microwave was inconvenient and a problem with our toddler and would be better suited on a mounted shelf. The closet door is a giant mirror and it’s very pretty loud when you open and shut it. The staff seemed vaguely annoyed when you spoke to them and they weren’t very welcoming but they were always available when you needed something. The elevator is sketchy as hell. It makes weird noises and jerks which made us uneasy whenever we used it. The breakfast was edible-ish. Eggs were legitimate rubber but cereal came to save the day and the coffee wasn’t bad. Overall not terrible, not great. Great for a weekend stay.

We had a great stay for one night. The room was clean, hotel was quiet, beds were comfortable, check n was fast and easy, and the free continental breakfast was good. The free parking was appreciated. The hotel's location was a little odd near the intersection of busy streets, and across the parking lot from a pot shop.

We will definitely be staying here again it’s so convenient to a lot of things and the hotel is great!

Very comfortable clean room. Close to everything. Staff cordial and pleasant. Only thing I would fix is the tub/shower. It needs a shower mat or something that keeps you from slipping. The tub is just a slick service

We booked a room with a pullout couch for teenager. The only negative was that once the bed was pulled out, it blocked the walk to the bathroom so other guests would have to climb over the bed in the middle of the night to access the restroom. The couch could easily be moved to a different wall and the problem solved. Management should review the room layout and make the easy adjustment to make room completely family friendly.

Extremely clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and actually enjoyed the breakfast when I don’t usually like hotel breakfasts. Quiet with no traffic noise. Very close (only minutes) to Red Rocks and Golden restaurants and shopping.

The rooms like nice and clean, however, nothing works. I had two rooms and in both rooms the TVs quit working the night of the first stay and never came back. The wifi worked for about an hour then quit and I had to use my hotspot on my phone. The wifi connected but there was never any internet connection. Then breakfast the next day was really bad. The eggs were cold and not cooked all the way. The sausage tasted days old and the cinnamon rolls were cold and hard. I had a noise issue too but the front desk took care of that. I stay at holiday inns alot because they are almost all good but not this one. Never again.

Expedia showed it was a pet friendly hotel. It is not. After settling in we were made to move to another hotel because of our pet.

Good value, property is in process of much needed upgrades. The neighboring businesses gave the parking lot and lack of lighting gave an unsafe feeling at night.

I really like this hotel, would have given them a 5-star rating EXCEPT: we were awakened at 4am by a smash and grab robbery at the Cannabis store across the parking lot. They drove an SUV through the front door and stole everything they could grab. Probably won’t stay here again. What a shame.

Probably one of the worst holiday inns we’ve stayed at. Hotel was dirty. Weird white powder all over the hallway. We asked 3 times for them to change pull out bed sheets because they were dirty when we arrived and it was never done. They never had enough breakfast each morning.

Stayed two nights. Staff is wonderful, courteous and professional. Helpful, caring, not stuffy. Room was very clean, breakfast was very good and the coffee is absolutely wonderful. I will stay again, just for fun as well as another cup or two of coffee!
