    This is a very nice hotel. Great location with easy access to shopping, getting aound and visiting attractions. The staff were so wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable. The woman Jenna at the front desk was so very nice and helpful. She helped me with the situation I had with my length of stay which was great customer service on her part and greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend this hotel.

    Breakfast is good--although not so good as those before pandemic, it is better than other hotels I stayed in this journey...Staff is professional to facilitate check-in and check-out. Room is spacious and tidy. Parking fee is $8?! Hey! It is an open-air parking lot without security. How come does it worth $8?! There is one coffee bag opened by someone when I entered the room. Not sure whether the cleaning staff or the previous guest did it.

    The majority of the property was clean. It’s very outdated and there are signs of a renovation sometime ago. Beware that the pictures and location description are a bit misleading. This property is not in Golden and the pictured location is the school of mines which is further to the north in Golden. The staff was friendly and helpful and they made the stay more pleasant. The room had a very suspicious stain on the mattress which we discovered our last night, I believe it was coffee someone had spilled. The pool and spa were very dirty and green as if not maintained well so be careful of swimming and soaking. You may want to swim in the rivers or lakes nearby! But for the cost I had higher expectations and was let down. It is close to red rocks so that’s a plus, but you have other options. If it wasn’t for the staff there would have been a lower rating.

    I was very disappointed having to pay 8.99 for parking, parking lot was very small. Room was out dated, not enough towels. Traffic noise made it hard to sleep and we could hear neighbors making noise, the positive thing was breakfast. We would not stay again.

    I was impressed by how helpful the staff were and by how decent the breakfast was, compared to many places I’ve stayed. (A special shout out to Jose, who was so kind and helpful when I couldn’t find something and who took the time to bring me alternatives.) My room was clean, nice, and comfortable. The accessible bathroom could use a little work: a sink that’s big enough to set something on the side and a wall shelf nearby where one could set a toiletry bag or other item would be most helpful, whether you’re in a wheelchair or not. All in all, it was a most enjoyable stay.

    The hotel overall was very clean and smelled fresh. The water/coffee area was well maintained all day. The one area not clean was the outdoor trash - it was overflowing and gross to look at. The room setup was great and would work well for longer stays (pull out shelves plus decent closet, large vanity /storage in bathroom. We were comfortable and had plenty of space for two people to get ready separately. Also appreciate the full length mirror outside the bathroom! We did have an issue with the room not being refreshed even though we asked for it earlier in the day. I had to call upon returning to the room after several hours and there was no explanation. It took a while for someone to then come with fresh towels and to empty the garbage. There was no spare kleenex even though the bathroom is built for storing extras (our box ran out the first day). A few things that could be better: The shower head is HARD. It cannot be moved around and doesn't have settings for pressure. As a female I had to cover parts of my body :( The hot tub only has one seating level. The bubbles are super aggressive and splashed my face/hair the whole time. The first day it was so hot we couldn't stay in too long and the second day it felt like bath water. Breakfast is almost all gluten items - please update!

    Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. I enjoyed the nightly warm cookie offered in the lobby. Continental breakfast had a nice variety. Super close to downtown Golden and 5-10 minute drive to Red Rocks. I would stay here again.

    My stay for a concert at red rocks was exactly what I needed! THEN I got a handwritten and personalized thank you card noting that I went to the concert. A hotel has never done that for me before. The staff was so friendly and helped me with whatever I needed. 100% would stay here again

    I gave 3 stars because the pool was absolutely horrible. Needs to be cleaned asap. Tasted like salt (probably pee). Water was green. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good. If you have kids be careful with the pool

    I hosted a birthday party for 6, 14 year old girls at this hotel. I rented 2 rooms and picked this spot because I thought it was really cool that the hot tub and pool were open untill midnight! The rooms and bathrooms are really clean.All the girls got up in the morning and enjoyed the continental breakfast.The 2 girls working the front desk are really sweet and helpful! They made my daughter a gift bag with snanks and other fun things. I was so surprised at the thoughtfulness and care.

Big downside was the pool was very cold and hot tub definitely had too much chemicals or something made our skin very itchy and the water in the hot tub was cloudy. If you’re just in and out for a quick stay it is a good place to stay and clean.

    Stayed here twice within a week for family spring break trip. The breakfast both times had really good options, not so many options for vegetarian diets, and the staff kept everything stocked as people went through. Stayed in a double queen room and the beds were comfy, pillows squishy. Plenty of places to plug in and charge electronics, including some spots with USB-A ports. 10/10 plan on staying here in the future when traveling through Denver. Parking is a little cramped in front so I would recommend parking on the backside.

    Great staff and breakfast. They put sliding bathroom doors instead of swing door and one of the sliding doors fell off at about 3 AM. Sounded like a truck hit the hotel and must have woken up half the people on the rooms. They might be charging for parking with a pay by the signs?

    Parking is not free here. In addition, when you check in, they charge you a $35 "deposit." I still don't know if they will actually refund mine despite leaving the room in a reasonable condition. The TV was odd. They have apps like Netflix installed, but they ask guests to log into their own accounts. They claim they'll wipe the accounts once you check out, but it didn't sound like a terribly safe practice, so we stuck to live TV. The most annoying thing was the weird split barn doors they put on the bathroom. I don't mind barn doors, but they set these up with a finicky tiny latch in the middle, so you had to line up both doors perfectly and then latch them. Definitely not good for late night trips to the loo. I hope they'll change that. Breakfast was pretty good. The main eggs looked very cheesy but they did have hard-boiled eggs (some of our family have dairy allergies). The oatmeal was cooked well and satisfying with a number of toppings. They had delicious little scones and a decent offering of coffee, hot tea, and several types of juice. It was a much better breakfast than we had elsewhere on our trip. Overall I might be willing to stay here again, but honestly I'd prefer someplace that doesn't nickel and dime already-paying customers.

    The pool water was cold and murky and the hot tub water was luke warm and swamp green in color. It smelled awful. My kids wouldn’t go in and they were so excited for it. Big let down when you have kids to entertain. I alerted the front desk staff and was told the hot tub needed paint and that is causing the green color. She didn’t know why it was cold and didn’t seem to care. I questioned when it was last cleaned. It smelled foul. Pool towels weren’t stocked at all and the pool area was just overall dirty looking with a lot of cracked tiles everywhere. I used the lobby bathroom and the water sensor on the sink never turned off. I told the guy at the front desk and he checked on it but mentioned it “won’t be his problem because his shift is almost over.” The lobby coffee station was out and never replenished . The mattress sheets were so old and stretched they kept popping off the bed corners and revealed a really dirty stained mattress underneath. All these things add up. Seems like nobody cared there. Was convenient location for what I needed but would never stay there again and do not recommend. They need to get it together!

    The hotel is not as advertised. The air conditioning was not working in the hallways. The room door seemed to be kicked in with a hug gap on the bottom. You can literally see into the hallway. There was a foul smell in the room that was being covered by tons of air freshener. Not a place to stay with family.

    Went to check in, the pool and hut tub were down for maintenance, that’s been like that for an over a month and nothing on the site saying it, only reason I booked here. The room was small, and as I when to shower, I turned on the shower head, and for 5 whole seconds, there was rust water that came out of the pipes. Like what??!! You have to pay extra for an animal, parking, and the breakfast is terrible. Do better!!!

    This place has both the pool and hot tub out of commission our tub drain had blood around it, then next room had pubic hair in the shower. Both cube seats had broken handles. Front desk person was very sweet.

    R room had several issues including the refrigerator did not cool, lamp did not have bulbs window shade would not open. No soap in the soap dispenser in the bathroom. The pool and hot tub were out of order. They said they were waiting on parts. Breakfast was ok. Eggs were rubbery and yogurt was warm. Staff was friendly

    Excellent room, clean, convenient. Great staff.But very disappointed in pool and hot tub not operating. Also finding out that I have to pay for parking was upsetting. The lot is not even secure with a fence, actually adjoins another hotel parking lot. When I tried to get a refund for parking expense because I didn't use the full 3 nights, it proved impossible. This will probably make me think twice before I stay in this hotel again.

    When speaking with the police, we were informed this happens frequently at this location. If this happens frequently, then why hasn’t the hotel done anything about it such as cameras and extra lighting? I understand the hotel wasn’t the one breaking into the vehicles, but if it repeatedly happens I don’t understand why the hotel doesn’t do anything to try and decrease the chances. Hotel staff wasn’t much help and no security footage. Hotel itself was fine. Decent room, decent breakfast.

    The chef and his assistants were great. They accepted compliments graciously. When we needed to check out 30 minutes before they opened on Monday morning they let us go in the serving area an grab what we needed before other guests were allowed in. Why does Hilton charge a parking fee when Holiday Inn next door just includes that in their nightly charge? I guess I could have parked next door at the Home Depot for freee.

    The TV would not turn on. The bathroom door was hard to open and close and the shower curtain rod was pulled down to the point that it would not let the curtain stay closed and caused leaking onto the bathroom floor. I was also not informed of having to pay for parking.

    Very clean room. But the sink faucet needed repair and there was no place to put your bathroom amenities. There was no cleaning service between our two night stay and no liners in the trash cans. On top of that we had to pay for parking when the parking was full. We walked from the next hotel the first night.

    I've never been in such a noisy hotel. First, you put me in room 216, over the entrance, so I could hear the lobby doors rumbling open and close every time, along with a noisy AC unit. Then, when I asked to move to a quieter room, you put me in 201 next to something that also rumbled frequently. The breakfast was the same every day. Not a great experience.

    Not happy with the bathroom door style. Im in construction but its stupid when they're installed wrong, but the fact it leaves a huge gap is crazy. Shade was broken also so couldn't open or close it. Little stuff you expect to work when you stay for three days. Breakfast was cold and coffee burnt my mouth.

    Overall our stay was comfortable. The two issues were we had to pay for parking which was a surprise to me at check in and there was mold on the ceiling above the shower. The staff was friendly and overall our stay was fine. We chose this hotel because we were attending a concert at Red Rocks and it was very easy to get to and from the venue.

    It’s fine. Nothing special. I would not step a big toe in the pool or hot tub. They looked very murky. Sheets wouldn’t stay on the bed - they must have recently got new mattresses but not upgraded the sheets that fit properly. Beds were nice minus the sheets. Bathtub was stained and a little dingy. Breakfast was fine - typical American microwaved fare with sub par coffee. Expensive for what you get.

    I’m usually a huge fan but the first room that we were given had a lot of black material in the bathroom sink. They did move us to second room, which had a handle on a cabinet door that had a missing screw. That wasn’t horrible, but a little surprising.

    The staff was friendly. However, the pool was freezing cold and the hot tub definitely needed some attention. The hot tub had a very green tint to it and when the jets were turned on there was a strong moldy smell. The bathroom also had mildew on the ceiling. It certainly may be time for some maintenance.

    We arrived and were told that one of our rooms had been cancelled by the Hampton Inn staff for no apparent reason. We had booked a handicapped accessible room for my mother months in advance and the room had a bathtub. The whole reason for booking a handicapped room was to have a walk in shower. If you're handicapped you can't step over a bathtub. As a result she was unable to take a shower while at the property for three nights-unacceptable.

    I got to the hotel they said I was a day early I showed them the confirmation email showing Thursday to Sunday and they said nope it shows Friday through Sunday so I checked my card and was charged for Thursday through Sunday and my email shows the same but they made me pay again to add Thursday even tho the confirmation email said I already paid so I had to pay twice just to get a room

    This was a quick stopover on a road trip. The hotel was fine, the person at the front desk was friendly and helpful.     The guests upstairs were running laps on Christmas. I called the front desk to complain and they did not offer a remedy. The noise continued through the night putting my pet on edge. The next morning the woman at the front desk proceeded to lie to my face claiming there was nobody staying in any of the rooms around us. She also informed me that unfortunately because I booked via Expedia I was not allowed a refund for my terrible stay.

    The front desk staff made all the other issues, not a big problem. The room had a bathroom that was poorly designed and needed updating the tub needed to be reglazed. We needed more garbage cans. A second chair in the corner would have been helpful as there was only one for two people, not garbage cans. The toilet paper roll was behind the toilet rather than at the side and finally, the refrigerator wasn’t working at first and we were asked to check it on a different plug. It worked half the night and then stopped. We plugged it in again and it worked then it stopped , so every day we would unplug it and replug it in to get our water and milk cold. So there’s probably a short. Not sending somebody up should have been an issue.

    We arrived at 3 PM to check in. We stood at the front desk for almost 10 minutes before someone came to help us. The facility was nice. Rooms clean bed comfortable. But it was noisy all night and when you looked out our window, we are right up against the wall. When checking out they asked how our stay was. I said it was noisy. All night sounded like something was rolling across our ceiling back-and-forth. There was no attempt of service recovery
