Superb

I discovered a live cockroach on my bathroom floor and visible mildew/mold on the bathroom ceiling during my stay. I have photos of both. These are serious health and sanitation violations that no guest should ever experience. When I contacted IHG, they offered only 10,000 points - inadequate compensation for these conditions. I would not recommend this property and urge management to address these issues immediately. Future guests deserve better.

The shuttle going into the hotel was disappointing. I jumped in the shuttle and they told me to get off as it was not mine. I called the hotel and they sent the same shuttle. I spent over one hour dealing with this

The airport shuttle to DFW runs until noon, then takes a break for a few hours. On the plus side the rooms a big and it's easy to find room for a suitcase. Breakfast was good = as expected for HIE.

Shower water-pressure was a joke. Sink did not drain well. Mat stuck to bathtub floor hiding who knows what. Toilet was crooked, wobbly, and slow to flush. Bedding seemed clean. Room was quiet. We were only in town for quick shopping and picking someone up from the airport. Would not stay here again.

I was staying at this hotel because a family member was at the local hospital. It was convenient with lots of food choices all around.

Lobby look newly refurbished. Butbthe rest of the hotel isnt. The pool was out and that was the main reason we booked there. Our main plans weren't till the next and we wanted a chill evening in the pool.

This Holiday Inn Express was very clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also very good.

First room had leaking toilet and smell terrible, we were moved to a different room and the bottom sheet had blood stains, aside from the staff the property is in bad shape.

Great breakfast, amenities, and proximity to Grapevine. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in town. Just be sure to bring some white noise or ear plugs…the person above me sounded like an elephant going across the room all night. The shuttle to the airport was an added bonus.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical for hotels. They do have long term parking for the airport, up to 14 days.

The only issue was the deadbolt in room 240 did not latch. We did make them aware at check out (it was a 1 night stay & we were prepared in case) that the bolt didn't latch. It is our favorite little hotel as it's in a great location. Not to busy of an area, close to multiple restaurants, right by main event, rooms are always clean, and staff's always been kind each stay!

Good hot breakfast, nice employees, and comfortable beds! The room had broken tile in the bathroom, and the hot tub was broken which was disappointing to my husband. The Holiday Inn shuttle from airport only runs mornings and late afternoons. If you need a ride midday you can always catch the free Grapevine shuttle.

They should really start breakfast at 0500 for folks that have early flights. If you have to be at the airport for a 0700 flight you have to be on the first shuttle! They could at least have continental breakfast items out early to grab and go.

The hotel is dated and the breakfast is lacking, but the beds were comfortable, the sheets were very soft and we were close to the hotel at a very affordable price. Would recommend if you need a place to stay for one night

We rented the hot tub room. It was more like a jacuzzi, and that’s ok… however the ceiling above the tub looked like it had extensive water damage, the room wasn’t updated more of an older style room without any way to charge phones etc. The lighting in the actual room was poor, the box springs looked like it needed to be replaced as there was a visible bend on it from just looking from the front door, and we had tiny black ants in the room. Other than that the stay was ok… wouldn’t give it 4 or 5 stars especially for the pricing.

The holiday inn express franchises have been improving they offer a nice breakfast and have a small market in addition to comfortable rooms I did 4-stars here because the one near galleria in Houston is nicer overall it was good

Room fine, staff courteous, however wifi does not work. None of my devices would connect via the hotel sign on page. After reporting to front desk i was given the number to call tech support as front desk was unable to do anything. The tech was unable to help either. I was switched to a different room as staff thought it was a room router issue. The wifi did not work in new room either and I was told maintenence was off that evening so nothing could be done. My children were very disappointed to not have internet.

The menu was ok. Hotel conditions were poor. Elevator buttons had been pushed through their mounting plates forcing us to press the buttons through a hole ( 1st and 2nd floors) . Large accumulation of leaves in the parking lot. No room to park and had to park in the movie theater parking lot. Could be to holiday .

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites DFW earned a 1 star only because they did not have anymore paid parking and the shuttle does not run until 5:00 AM. At least that is what I was told by the lady at the counter. If you do not have parking then that should have been said when we booked the hotel. It’s a hotel near DFW and didn’t have enough parking? That’s just bizarre. So, we ended up driving to The Westin Dallas Forth Worth Airport and they were very compassionate to our situation and gave us complementary parking and shuttle to and from the airport. That is where we will be staying from now on.

The second big issue was your website says "free airport shuttle". that is a lie. Reality is: 1) free airport shuttle ONLY from DFW and not Love Airport 2) Irritated, but after I took the train from Love to DFW, and called for a free pick-up, the same manager on the phone--with zero empathy said, ' Oh, we do not run the shuttle to DFW between noon and 6 PM!! It as also not a par of the registration nor on the website. So 1/2 of the workday their shuttle is shut down. One more recommendation, 2.5 miles away there is another Holiday Inn with the exact same name (confusion??) and prices but they DO have a 5AM till 11PM free shuttle

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were only there one night, so can't comment on housekeeping. The hotel is in average condition, I think in the next few years, the rooms/bathroom will need a facelift. Other than that, the stay was comfortable and affordable.

I tried to extend our stay for one more night and was told no because I pre paid. I was ok with getting another room but the staff wouldn’t help so I said I would go to another hotel so I did I went to the Hilton that was right in front of the holiday inn

We had a late check in or else we wouldn’t have slept here. This place needs a complete renovation, update and deep deep clean. The humidity level in the room was dank and wet and smelled and the AC unit wasn’t able to pump air to the other side of the room. The shower ceiling was gross. The carpet was even worse. Gross gross gross.

Carpets are sticky, breakfast was gross, old re heated sausage. Elevators floors never mopped.

The hotel support staffs were the best I ever seen. My bed and room was laid and cleaned everyday. My towels were replaced for each day I stayed. Worth my money and I’ll sure be coming back

We stay here every year for a local festival and have always had a great stay, definately recommend. My only reason for not 5 star is the lady at the front desk... no personality, no smile, and very short with answers to questions.

This worked great for a one night stay for an early flight. The shuttle was efficient and friendly. Check in was easy. Elevator to rooms. The neighbors above me did bring their brick shoes but luckily they settled quickly. Could not hear talking or TV's from rooms next to me. Coffee available for early departure. Overall clean and a nice stay.

Hotel floors were dirty throughout. The entire hotel smelled like marijuana. The room was very dirty. So much dirt and dust around the edges of the room. The A/C would not cool the room.

My mattress in my room (205) was in horrible condition and was extremely squeaky. In addition the box board was in poor condition. I informed the staff it was an embarrassment on Holiday Inn to assigned the room to someone. I was informed it’s and older property and there are mattress in that condition. I asked multiple times for someone to come up and see for themselves, but no one never came up. I was offer a different time but was told it could be in the same condition. I informed the Team on Saturday and requested to come up and take a look, no one came and again informed it may or may not be there same. After several conversations in passing I was given another room which was better. Although due to a busy schedule with family I wasn’t in the room only a few hours as we checked out on Sunday at 3:30am. In addition, I was advised to take the issue up with Expedia since it was booked through a 3rd party.

Clean rooms and common areas. Friendly staff and 24/7 snacks. Quiet rooms even though so close to other hotels and restaurants. Wish breakfast started earlier - not available for early flights.

The staff was very helpful.in getting me the kind of room i needed. Price was acceptable. What bothered me most was the carpet in the halls. Itcappeared to be very dirty.

The property is strategically located near the places I needed to go, including my office, St. Francis Catholic Church, and DFW Airport. The airport shuttle was very convenient — the driver dropped me exactly where I needed to be, and I was able to make my flight on time. The room had the amenities I needed, such as a work table for office tasks, and the TV channels even included EWTN, which is one of my favorites. Breakfast was included and very convenient, and hot drinks were available 24 hours, which I really appreciated. My only suggestion would be to extend the shuttle service from the airport until 2 p.m.

There was a large roach feet up in the morning in the middle of bathroom floor and 3 small bugs crawling on shower full wall.

I was very impressed with how quite the rooms were from highway noise due to proximity. Perfect!

However, the parking is limited so you need to be careful where you park. On the sides you can but be careful not to park within the Hilton or The Main Event. Otherwise, bye bye car........

TV was OK. Breakfast was OK and absolutely no parking around the hotel. If you moved your car early, you’d have to park far away and then walk. So not quite understand why I would pay extra money to stay here when it’s just not that nice.

I liked that this property was very close to the airport, and the location was very nice outside and felt very safe. The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was clean.

I am very upset with how they showed a big bathtub in the picture but that wasn’t even the room we got. I picked it because I thought it was the big bathtub. Very disappointed in the false advertisement of the picture.

The pool was fabulous and the staff was friendly and efficient!! The room was well kept and clean and exactly the way we like it. I wish the breakfast hours were posted somewhere it would've been helpful and the girl working there by herself seemed very overwhelmed and was running and running non stop she could've used some help.

Other Holiday Inn Express locations have been refurbished. This one has not. Multiple items (TV, fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker) plugged into one outlet - fire hazard. Lacking entertainment options- TV with cable instead of smart TV, and/ or streaming options. I understand that this hotel's proximity to DFW is a draw, but I won't lie, I was really disappointed.

We booked in for one night due to hotel situation and free shuttle from airport. We requested the room with a walk in shower and no feather pillows. When we landed at DFW and called the hotel for shuttle service were told that the shuttle was not available at that time so we had to take a cab, when we checked in were told that the room with walk in shower was being renovated and they had not replaced the feather pillows.On the plus side the hotel was clean and the breakfast was more than adequate.

The condition of the room. Lamp shade was stained with large brown marks. The Bed next to the window box spring cover had a LARGE brown stain on the window facing side not sure if it was blood coffee or both. The room paint was a touch up mess, the walls and the ceiling..........First entering the room it was a very musty smell. Did NOT smell clean.

Breakfast was great! Central location to the metroplex, which meet the needs fir our trip. Bed was super comfy and the in room fridge was an added bonus.

Only bad thing I can say is my king suite with jetted tub just a one night stay. Meaning next check out at 11:00am. House keeping came to the room at 8:59am and then again at 9:35 after staying my check out time isn’t until 11 they can clean the room when I check out. Most places you stay if it’s a one night stay house keeping doesn’t come unless you request for it. Out side of that the room was cozy jetted tub did exactly what I needed it to which was relax me. And this hotel is surrounded by many different restaurants and sports bars to choose from

The hotel was close to the airport clean the front desk girl could have told us about breakfast. The room itself had a small fridge which was very noisy so I unplugged it. They could use a newer toilet with a little bit more flush.

This hotel is definitely in need of some remodeling. Just about all the tile especially the one in the restroom were broken and coming up out of the floor definitely not safe The dry wall was all patched up and left unfinished. The toilet water took forever to flush. If you don’t mind staying in an outdated hotel, this is for you. Staff was friendly but unfortunately will not stay there again

This hotel is barely ok. Front desk guy was not a bit rude, The elevator button on the 3 floor was punched in. The TV would not stay on more then 3 sec and then would just turn off. Finally was able to get it to work. The toilet would barely flush and the shower took 5 minutes to heat up. Overall OK but you must not expect a lot.
