Exceptional

Only complaint is the shower was with really hot or cold. Hard to adjust to get it to the right temperature. It’s did smell musty as well. Overall loved the location and the restaurant on site. Great Happy Hour too.

Easy parking, top notch staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Easy and comfortable lobby with quick, delicious options for breakfast and a nightcap at the bar. Location is perfect for walking around town and for getting to the Peace center across the street.

Fantastic hotel right in the middle of downtown and walking distance to The Peace Center Auditorium. Super clean property and great staff, will stay again when I'm in Greenville for sure.

Location is perfect. So walkable. Coffee in the morning. A drink at night. Dinner. Shopping. All a very short walk from the property. Including Reedy Falls which is a Greenville stunner. The property is very clean. Staff is very friendly.

Parking was easy in and out. Location very convenient to downtown restaurants and shopping. Room was spacious and bed was super comfy.

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of the downtown area. We loved the walkability to all the restaurants, shops and the gorgeous falls bridge park and Swamp Rabbit trail! Our lovely room was comfortable and clean! We will definitely stay here next time we are in Greenville!

The towels were musky. Replacement towels were musky as well .The room was clean .

Great location, clean room, friendly staff. The only complaint was the handicap shower, which we didnt reserve or need, flooded the bathroom each time you showered.

Staff was very nice , food, drinks and recommendations were great. The only problem was we stayed for 2 nights and our room was not cleaned the second day.

Note that the “cook to order” breakfast option turns out to just be microwave Starbucks. Not a deal. Also expect $19 to park one night in the hotel parking deck. Overall the experience is what I expect in a $195/night downtown hotel. Poorly patched drywall and stained furniture suggest it is time for a refresh for this hotel. Staff might wish to inspect room 535 to see what I mean.

The check-in process was easy, with good explanations about parking ($19 in the adjacent parking garage). The room was clean. Comfortable bed and pillows.

Tv did not work the whole stay. Worker came to fix said would come back never came back. Second worker couldn’t fix either. Not every room had issues. Wouldn’t move us to equal accommodation.

Tv channels never worked and no one had any answers nor did they act like the catere even though New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day is two of the biggest fays in college football. Couldn’t watch any of the New Year’s Eve celebrations either. It was handled terribly. Definitely was not as nice of a place as it was last year when we stayed there. Last year the had a New Year’s Eve party. This year the place was dead. Very disappointed.

Breakfast was a Starbucks. Room cleaning every other day. Coffee and towels in guest rooms are not stocked for a one day delay on services. Cheap bedding and bath soap.

Great hotel in a great location. Only downside is depending on which way your room faces, you could get a lot of noise on the weekends. We overlooked a courtyard area and there was live music until about midnight.

We liked that we could walk to everything from shopping to dining. The parking was exceptionally convenient, attached to the parking garage.

Great hotel. This was an accessible room, and the bathroom was huge. Spotlessly clean. Hotel is right next to the Peace center with lots of dining options.

Downtown Greenville is one of the most charming downtown districts of any mid size city. The Courtyard is conveniently located off Main Street and adjacent to the parks and restaurants that Greenville is known for.

We enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Courtyard. It was conveniently located near great restaurants and shops downtown Greenville. My only complaint was regarding the housekeeping service of our room. By 3:30pm our room had not been cleaned. We notified the front desk, and the employee was very responsive to our request. Upon returning to our room later that evening we noticed that the coffee cups and supplies hadn’t been replenished and the empty box of tissues had not been replaced. We notified the front desk upon checking out about the house keeping service. The employee was very apologetic and gave us points towards our Marriott rewards. Our interactions with the front desk staff were very accommodating.

We love this hotel!! Great proximity to all shopping and restaurants! Clean and staff friendly. Right next to a great little outdoor area where there’s an awesome bar.

The hotel is right in the middle of the action, and the bar area outside the hotel seems to be a popular attraction for visitors and locals alike.

Have stayed here several times for baseball tournaments. Always clean and enjoyable. Mobile checking allows for a late arrival, but the staff members are always available to help. Beautiful location!

The hotel was nice overall but the carpet in the room had a bad smell and the refrigerator was too small.

This was our 30th anniversary. Unfortunately we had an emergency and couldn’t use our stay. We requested a refund, it was denied. Hotels.com blamed the hotel, the hotel blamed Hotels.com. We are disappointed in both!

The room was less than clean. Very surprised for this hotel because we usually are very happy with these hotels. The side of the bed had a puddle of water that we have no idea what the water came from and the headboard was filthy with something.

Everything was good until the elevator we took dropped a floor and half. We told customer service and she kinda shrugged it off. We had to sit for a while before we attempted to take it again, due to the fact the other one was out of service.

Great location. No breakfast. Paid parking, Parking garage enclosed and connected which was nice. Had to ask for things every day. The coffee machine was the pits for this nice a hotel and never replenished. Had to chase the housekeepers down. Rooms are tight but overall not bad.

Suggestion for improvement: The property needs to implement a method of preventing non-electric vehicles from parking in spaces designated for electric vehicle charging.

Hair found in bed and in bathroom. Not the cleanest hotel. Staff was friendly.

Room wasn't ready at check in. Carpet in room was wet. One person on duty seemed a bit overwhelmed.

We chose this hotel for proximity to the Peace Center and it was well worth it. Clean comfortable room, parking right next door, excellent fitness room and on site restaurant.

I have, however, to complain about the staff. We arrived past midnight (I had let them know this on a message and by phonecall) and there was no one in the lobby, so we could not get in the hotel, i even called, and only got ansering machines. We had to wake up someone else in our party to have them come down and open the front door and garage door for us, if we were the only one's in our party, we would have slept in the car :( also, when we requested extra towels (the room only had 3) I had to call after 25 min to remind them and the guy said "oh right, I will give your request to the houskeeper right now". we stayed there 3 nights and after 6pm we noticed no-one was at the front desk or anywhere in the lobby.

Staff was extremely accommodating. Restaurants were nice, relaxing and made for a great date night. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall a great stay!

The heating and air conditioning system was loud. It was more like something that would be at a cheap motel. I didn’t get the room that I booked. I booked an executive suite and I got a standard room with no refund for the price difference. The location was great but the staff service left something to be desired. I would not recommend staying there.

We had tickets for a show at the Peace Center which is just across the street from the hotel. That made it very convenient. Also had dinner at their restaurant which was excellent. Highly recommemd the property and their restaurant.

We stay at the downtown Greenville Courtyard every time we go to Greenville. It is a convenient location, where we can park the car and not have to move it until we check out……everything is within walking distance.

We always book this hotel for Christmas… it’s very affordable. It’s perfect for our family

It is a great place to stay. The front desk people were awesome. Our room overlooked the ice skating rink on Main Street. I would recommend this Courtyard by Marriott downtown Greenville to anyone.

The restaurant wants $80 for spaghetti, bar does t open till 5 pm, persons staying in hotel was not clear on where to park in deck for didn't say employees only ,confusing why you would be towed away when you pay to park!!!!!! Also payed extra for town view could not sit near to see view had to stand.Never go back

Did a one night stay in Greenville because we live in Atlanta and wanted to get away. The area is perfect for walking on main street and dining options are incredible. The rooms had great AC and very clean.
