Alex at the front desk was super helpful and went above and beyond to help me get a room on the courtyard side of the building. Room was clean and comfortable and was lovely to look out into the Courtyard. Hung out in the lobby for a few hours with my husband waiting for our flight, very nice and comfortable.

Richard, our shuttle driver, was prompt & very pleasant, as well as a safe driver. I didn’t get the name of the checkout person this morning, but she was very pleasant & helpful for so early in the morning.

Breakfast menu was fresh, staff were great. The material on Expedia do not represent the breakfast accurately. It is an elevated Starbucks rather than a restaurant breakfast venue.

We were traveling from Michigan to South Carolina. I booked online prior to arrival. Upon checking in I was assigned a dirty room not once but twice. The third room was too small for my family and not what I paid for. Took four tries to get us a clean, correct room.

Only real complaint was the noise from the street and parking area. Had a room on the street side, easily heard loud cars on the Main Street. Would request a room facing the courtyard next time.

The rooms were very quiet. The only "gripe" I have is the way to control the heat/air conditioning isn't on the wall. Other than that, it was a great stay. Very comfortable and cozy.

The only problem was the couch/pull-out bed. It could be used as a torture device. The mattress was hard springs with no padding.

We chose this property due to its proximity to the airport. It was a good place to stay: quiet, clean, comfortable beds with good water pressure. There was coffee in the room that you could make, which I did, but I was surprised that it did not have coffee available in the lobby area. There also was not a complimentary breakfast available.

However, the WiFi was poor. The "landing screen" to allow their customers to use the WiFi only came up once, and only on one device. Otherwise, it would say it was connected but it could not bring up any pages. You had to join the Marriott Bonvoy club to get access. Also, the "bistro" was just microwaved food. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that had the consistency of rubber. A cup of black coffee from the Starbucks bar cost $4. I will book a hotel with free WiFi and breakfast in the future instead of being nickel-and-dimed to death.

My stay at this location was great. My only issue was with the gentleman that works in Bistro at night. I’ve stayed there a couple of times and each time he was extremely unpleasant, it was like he didn’t want to be there. The rest of the staff is great!

The bed was very uncomfortable, and the pillows were terrible. Also, being in such a busy area, they could have done better with a noise barrier or better sound proofing.

We are reviewing right now if we have duplicate chargers. Very slow checkin. People with no experience. Poor room condition and shower. Poor towels condition. Many other to listing.

For the cost this was a very inadequate hotel. The shower was dangerously slippery and the hotel in general was old and smelly.

The people in the next room were noisy but got quiet about 11 pm so it was ok

The entire hotel was uncomfortably warm. My room never got to a comfortable climate. The entire hotel has chipped paint and worn carpets. My toilet seat was loose and the toilet paper dispenser was about to come out of the wall. At $150 a night (give or take), I would expect much more.

Security fee is crazy considering I live walking distance from the property and only stayed here because my air conditioning was broken

Not much cleanliness, amenities are older and kind of not maintained. avoid this hotel.

The hotel was great for traveling to the airport. Near a huge mall with plenty of food options. Never got a text saying my room was ready until after I checked in. Bed was the best hotel bed I've ever spept in

This hotel was wonderful. Staff was friendly and helpful. The bistro was fantastic. I stayed 13 days so had a vast experience. I would recommend it enthusiastically and will definitely stay there again

The comfort and customer service at Courtyard Greenville-Spartenburg was exemplary. The staff was helpful and welcoming. There were lots of areas to read, exercise and relax. My room was clean, spacious and well stocked with the items I needed for my stay. I highly recommend.

It was good and served its purpose.

Bathtub had stains on the bottom, towels were small and like sandpaper and the shower curtain had a straight rod (feels more claustrophobic) like the ones we replaced with curved rods 20 years ago. Bar and deli staff were great as well as Alex who checked me in.

I was charged twice by this property and have been calling since my stay with no resolution. It’s been 11 days and I’ve been calling to speak with a manager and had to no surprise she’s never there and when she is she doesn’t answer nor return calls.

We had a layover and chose to stay here. The staff was friendly and the hotel itself is beautiful. The only thing was the comfort of the mattress. It was like trying to sleep on a brick slab.

No counter space no extra drawers When booked the reservation, we were told there would be free breakfast with the room, but the rent desk said otherwise. They charged us for breakfast The experience could have been better We won’t be coming back to that hotel

Location was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. The only (and very minor) thing was that the shower door screeched loudly when you opened and closed it - and that was a little jarring first thing in the morning. Otherwise, everything was absolutely wonderful!

While I was visiting family in Greenville, I tested positive for Influenza A. So that I wouldn't get my family sick, I booked a last minute stay at this hotel. From the moment I walked in, they were extremely accommodating. They even allowed me a check out of 3PM since my flight didn't leave until 6PM. They gave me a bottle of water and laundry detergent so I could do some laundry during my stay. Also, I loved the fact that they had a quick shuttle to the airport. Thank you, Courtyard Marriott, for taking care of me during this unfortunate situation.

Clean, friendly, and safe

The hotel is getting a face lift so I was worried but didn’t need to be! You don’t hear any noise or anything. The front desk staff were AMAZING! Aron (I think that was her name) in particular is just fantastic! The guys making the Starbucks were great too! My room was clean, fresh, and perfect. The location is great, it’s near everything! Restaurants, shops, close to the highway. I didn’t hear outside noise at all and I felt very safe.

Could have been a little cleaner on the mirrors, doors and shower. Our air conditioning in our suite bedroom barely worked and if it wasn't for the one in the living room part, we would have burnt up in the room. Was shocked at the construction on the front of the building when we arrived because that infomation about construction wasn't on their website when I reserved the room. It was not a veey pleasant sight. I also thought they had a pool and hot tub which was a bit of a let down. Hallways were very hot and stuffy. We loved the firepit area out back in the courtyard and food was very good, a bit expensive though.

The lobby is nice, but sadly, the rest of this place is pretty run down. The people are nice, but the rooms are outdated, kind of grimy and the TV's don't work. In addition, it seems that they are trying to hide the smell of "old" with excessive air freshener that is nauseating. Not sure if I just chose the wrong Marriott this time.

Lobby was pretty, but fireplace not working. Shower curtain falling down Ants in bathroom No breakfast save an overpriced Starbuks. Super Easy Access! Very convenient, loved that. No room cleaning, but Hey, it WAS Xmas! Hot water took forever. Heat AC unit incredibly loud. And, toilet kept randomly running all night. We wished we were in the Hampton, which has nice suites, stay there instead.

The only problems with returning to this property are 1. Soiled sheet. 2. Quality of onsite food less than average. 3. Lack of personnel at food bar to accommodate guests.
