Reviews
The hotel reviews indicate a mix of positive and negative experiences. While the staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, the property itself is frequently criticized for being outdated, dirty, and in need of maintenance and repairs.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Convenient location
- Outdated and dirty rooms
- Lack of maintenance and repairs
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and helpful Only chair was a desk chair, no other c hair or loveseat for sitting Breakfast was just ok, pretty limited
- 1/5
Staff was friendly, breakfast was OK It is an older hotel, but room was filthy.
- 4/5
The name fit my stay > Quality Inn > basic clean hotel > will use again > for the cost!!!
- 1/5
Then we go down to the desk and they give us a different room, which had pubic hair on the toilet seat. Not clean. Next room they gave us smelled. Not clean. Next room had hair on the toilet seat again, so we requested that housekeeping come and clean, and the person at the desk, who was good through all of this, informed us that he was the only person working in the entire building. So we just cleaned it ourselves. Hair in the bed, but I just went and got my own sheets. The following morning, we get a knock from the next person who's working asking if the room is occupied (???How do they not know???), so apparently they have no real record system or anything to keep track of who's where. Huge security issue. Sleep in a van down by the river instead.
- 5/5
rugs are old and smell bad, sheets with black stains and ripped, looks like the rugs have not cleaned for a while. The breakfast was very poor, no eggs at all.
- 2/5
The bathroom had mold growing on tub and surround, the carpet was dirty and the place was run down. The bed was clean and fairly new but I had to go buy cleaner to just be able to take a shower and the staff was no help. I didn’t even dare eat the breakfast there seeing their cleanliness standards were so low. I’ll attach before and after photos of when I cleaned it vs how it was when I arrived.

Good and friendly staff. Place was clean and comfortable. I had no warm water to take a nice shower.
- 1.5/5
Location Shower was filthy with hair, floor unswept, a pill on bathroom floor, carpet was filthy, mattress uncomfortable body just sinks in, pillows and sheets dingy. Definitely needs new maintenance staff or you will lose business

My room needed maintenance. Tub was in bad shape and there was mold on the caulking. Hall carpeting was wore out and had holes in it.
- 1.5/5
The beds were comfortable. Staff was pleasant Old, a bit run down, smelled like old cigarette smoke, poor location. Unlike the other same name hotel, there breakfast was not much to speak of.
- 2.5/5
Bathtub not clean, cracked. Bed not comfortable

This location should be removed from Hotels.com. We called 2x and messaged 2x to inform them that we would be late. They did not respond and then attempted to up charge when we arrived. It took an hour to sort it all out with Hotels.com. The bedding did not smell fresh and the console in the bathroom was basically a table made of shabby wood. The towels were bare thin. The parking lot was the scariest part- a group of locals were drinking and partying in the rear of the lot.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 4/5
Need to clean the rooms better hair was on the shower walls.
- 2/5
The water pressure in the bathroom sink was basically non-existent, and the hot/cold faucet was reversed. We had to change rooms the second night of our stay because the first room's bedside lights and charging ports stopped working. I asked three different front desk staff to check the Lost and Found for a pair of shoes I left in the original room. I'm still not convinced anyone actually looked for my shoes or that a Lost and Found actually exists at this hotel.
- 2.5/5
Bed was ok. Even the staff didn't like the elevator it sounded bad.
- 2.5/5
Water to toilet was off, even on it didn't fill up with out opening it up and moving the float. The TV remote was missing Bed was ok. Even the staff didn't like the elevator it sounded bad.
- 2/5
The only decor was the ubiquitous No Smoking signs, yet the whole place reeked of smoke. Our room smelled of smoke and people smoked freely on the balconies, in the lobby, etc.
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and felt safe. Location was close to downtown. The staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. I always enjoy the waffles. Coffee could be better. Lots of parking.
- 4/5

Location Filthy. Room had not been vacuumed and bathroom had not been cleaned
- 4/5
Feont desk staff 10/10. Convient location. Price fair. Plenty of parking. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel definitely needs some TLC. There were a pair of sunglasses in the floor by the bed and the room was not clean. The bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. We basically just wanted a place to sleep and provided that. Would recommend and would stay here again.
- 3/5
Not a bad stay for the price. But room was not 💯 clean and my husband found a needle in the stairwell. Hotel needs some TLC. The staff was friendly and attentive. Great customer service.
- 4/5
Very low water pressure unable to shower hardly wash my face.
- 2/5
The room was in really poor shape. Bathroom dirty, mold in shower, shower faucet broken and falling out of the wall. Power outlets didn’t work. Sheets weren’t clean. Looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks.
- 2/5
The staff was amazing and so helpful, but the cleanliness of the hotel room was lacking. I did not use the shower but there were hairs in it, and the bathroom sink had trouble draining there were stains on the curtains as well as dead bugs in the window sills.
- 3/5
If you're not picky it's an ok property. Old property and not clean.
- 5/5
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond. The location is excellent. The room was clean and well maintained. I have been staying at this location for many years and have never been disappointed.
- 1/5
Later that night, I heard loud moaning from the next room—it was very audible in the hallway. Thankfully, I couldn’t hear it once inside my room, so I let it go. My niece also mentioned the shower felt slimy, and she rushed through it because of that. We checked out the next day and moved to another hotel to enjoy the rest of our trip. Shortly after, I realized I left my pillow behind. I called and was told they had it in lost and found, but only a manager could access it. I was told the manager would be there Monday morning. I called twice Monday—no manager. I called again Tuesday and was told the only pillow there was one of THEIR pillows inside MY pillowcase. The manager claimed there was no reason an employee would remove my pillow. I KNOW I didn’t do that—it makes no sense. Someone did, and while I may not know who, God does. I pray that person is convicted and changes, because stealing is unacceptable. I was also told that if you accidentally leave something, it’s considered abandonment. So apparently, there’s 0 accountability for theft and 0 effort to make it righ
- 5/5
Not to much breakfast but it’s ok and yes I feel safe.
- 4/5
Smart tv's
- 3/5
Bed was very comfortable & staff were great. No toilet paper on roll but extra available. No ice bucket, had to go to front desk for one. Ait conditioner rattled all night. Shampoo was missing but there was soap & conditioner. Seems cleaning staff would be at fault for most of the issues.
- 1/5
The reviews on Expedia do not reflect the true condition of this facility. Starts with the parking lot which very much was filthy and in disrepair. Felt unsafe . The condition of the room was deplorable. The bathroom was dirty, tub floor was blackened and grout was full of mold. The two rooms rented were so bad that we decided to leave after several hours. The thought of staying overnight was no longer an option. While waiting in the lobby we saw homeless come in and it was apparent that they were being housed there on a temporary basis. This definitely was not reflected anywhere in the Expedia ad.
- 2/5
Stuff at the counter were all friendly, helpful and cheerful. We stayed 3 nights, but no towel changing (so we ourselves took the old ones down to the front desk and get the new ones each time). Need a lot of touch ups in the bath tub and dusting the shelf under the sink. Our shower was hot, but not in our son's room. There was no toilet lid. I wish they provided better coffee for BF. Again, they have very nice, cheerful & helpful stuff!
- 1/5
The room was absolutely disgusting. It smelled like a dog had been in there for a week and there was blood on the wall by the AC unit. The other walls were covered in dust and god knows what else. The bathroom was in horrible condition as expected after seeing the rest of the room. Halls smelled like weed and mold. This place is disaster. We walked in and carefully found a “clean” spot to sit down in order to book a different hotel and decide that we were not comfortable staying there. Stayed for a total of 10 minutes it was so gross and uncomfortable. Don’t waste your time or money. Spend the extra $25-$30 an night for your own good!
- 3/5
Ok
- 5/5
Great location, near downtown and the Bon Secours Wellness Center, for the NCAA tournament games. Hotel was clean, comfortable, with a great breakfast.
- 4/5
Very pleased for the price. Good location. Walked less than a mile in both directions down Augusta to the west End and the waterfall park one way, and to restaurants and Ingles in the other direction. Breakfast should have had more options.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay. Super decent hotel at a super decent price. I would stay again.
- 2/5
Not a great location. Property is run down. Rooms are good, but generally old and need updating.
- 4/5
2) had to go back to the front desk twice because key card would not work 3) no bath towels in my room
- 2/5
We got there mid afternoon and our room wasn't ready, which is fine, so went to Greenville 4 minutes down the road for the day. When we got back later that night, the parking lot was full. We asked where we should park And we're told in the Taco Bell parking lot. We asked if that would be okay, and got a hesitated, "It should be." Needless to say, I was worried all night checking on it. Thankfully it was okay, but a hotel should have enough parking spaces for all of the guests. Room was ok. Clean. Just surprised how run down The property was for being just 4 minutes down the road from Greenville.
- 2/5
Chose this place mainly due to its location during a snow storm. The property needs major renovations and better cleaning standards. There was hair in the sink upon arrival and overall the room/property looked dirty and worn.
- 3/5
The hotel is pretty run down. There was rarely anybody at the desk…to include when we checked in. There was only one ice machine for a 4 floor hotel. Parking was minimal. The hallways smelled like marijuana the entire time I was there. The towels were thin and rough. The shower gel was over the sink and there was only shampoo and conditioner in the shower. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel and I wouldn’t stay there again.
- 3/5
Staff was very nice, but hotel needs a lot of work.
- 4/5
The room was not spotless so had things from previous first 6 in the room Front desk staff was was very friendly when i arrived
- 4/5
Nice staff, room was clean and I felt comfortable.
- 3/5
Room was nice, staff was polite. Area isn't great at night, lots of loiterers. Stairway sneaky like grass and so did the hallways. Overall not horrible for the price
- 4/5
Great location to Prisma Hospital
- 4/5
Room clean and staff was great. Commde seat was broken, flap to hold water in tank was broken and lavatory sink faucit was not securily mounted in Room 104.
- 4/5
Friendly staff, nice and clean, comfortable bed
- 4/5
Breakfast was delightful.
- 5/5
Great location. Great staff. Good breakfast. What more can you ask for on a quick work trip?
- 5/5
All employees were kind and helpful when i need assistance
- 5/5
The room was clean, staff friendly, facility smaller with very tight parking but very close to the hospital where I have needed to visit my brother (5 minutes, easy access) so I have stayed here 4-5 times and it has been perfect for that purpose. I am sure I will stay there again.
- 5/5
Solid hotel.
- 3/5
Room wasn't clean .
- 2/5
Room was dirty, shower had no hot water, drapes stained and torn....
- 3/5
Room had a musty odor. Water pressure very low. Had to run the wayer at least 5 minutes to get warm water...10 minutes to get hot. There was a fairly loud noise often, I thought it was a garbage dumpster or the elevator. Staff was nice and couteous. Limited breakfast offerings. Good price and location.
- 4/5
Maintenance staff was prompt when asked to provide additional items.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and the location was in walking distance of downtown
- 5/5
Clean room, good location and friendly staff.
- 3/5
Friendly staff. The property is conveniently located but the property is dated, our tub wouldn’t drain properly, hair dryer shorted out the outlet, keys quit working multiple times during our two nights stay
- 4/5
Near downtown
- 2/5
I had booked two rooms, one for me and one for my sister and her husband. The hotel was supposed to be smoke free but the 3rd floor, where we stayed was still smelling like smoke. My sister found blood on one of the pillows and the sheets. I had a stain of water leak just above the head of my bed. The bathroom shower curtain had stains of black mold. My sister changed rooms but had to check 3 other rooms before she found one that she was ok staying in. One of the rooms the AC would not come on. Mine I had to put down to 60 degrees for it to come on and was pretty loud. Also, windows don't protect much from the noise of the busy street.
- 3/5
Pro: The hotel has a nice elevator. The bathroom had a nice vanity mirror. The continental breakfast was fairly extensive, & the attendant was friendly. The staff was friendly & helpful.
- 5/5
Hey convenient
- 4/5
How it was in an area with not much going on but we needed the stay for Prisma health hospital. Only 5 mins away
- 1/5
Paid extra for certain room only for it not to be compatible. Bathtub was dirty so I skipped a bath. Air vents were disgusting along with the curtains. Missing amenities that were in the description.
- 5/5
Alot of homeless in the back of the building.
- 3/5
And rear door at back of parking lot is unlocked at all times...very easy for anyone to get into your room. Laundry facilities are not working.
- 1/5
The building needs a complete redo. Paint pealing, carpet old and buckling. Room with mold in the bathroom and paint job awful. Carpet on entrance to room with terrible smell. The only positives were the staff were polite and the bed comfortable.
- 5/5
The property is old but complies all basics. The shower water was good, drain was good, they provided shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, and body lotion. There is coin laundry on site, bending machine for snacks, and free breakfast even very basic but still has Waffle maker. It is not fancy at all. HOWEVER, the environment was very friendly and the front desk staffs were really nice. If you are looking for a fancy place, this may not be the one. However, I felt safe and family like comfortableness from the staff. When I needed water fountain, the front desk turned on the soda machine so I could get water. There is 24 hours coffee and creamer available. I could walk to several restaurant, Harris Teeter to pick up fruits, walked to my pilates class. There are several restaurants, bank, stores in 10-15 minutes walking distance. And this is the only hotel in that area. It is more residential area and most of hotels are in the newly developed town side. This is also within 15-30 minutes walking distance to the USC Medical school. Very convenient. Teh elevator was solid. They may need some cosmetic renovation for improvement. Overall, I appreciated the place.
- 2/5
Property and room were somewhat unclean
- 2/5
Unsafe door
- 1/5
Did not end up staying at the property for the duration that I paid for. Felt unsafe
- 1/5
The hotel had a bad smell and I itched the entire time we were there I am assuming from the laundry detergent they used. I was charged a $50 REFUNDABLE fee but have still yet not been credited it back. I do not recommend this particular hotel
- 4/5
There were drunk people stumbling around our hotel parking lot on a Monday night. Broken beer bottles in the parking spots. Odd odors. But the staff was super friendly!!
- 5/5
For the price I paid I was pleasantly supposed by how nice the room was. Definitely worth staying here.
- 2/5
Often smelled marijuana in the halls. Morning breakfast left a lot to be desired. Coffee was like sludge. The bright side, the front desk staff was very nice and helpful.
- 1/5
Terrible
- 4/5
Liked it.
- 5/5
Great for a one night stay. The staff was very friendly. Check in process took no more than 2 minutes. The bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
This hotel got the job done, but not great. The rooms were ok. Beds were good. Bathroom had several maintenance issues. Each floor of the hotel had a different smell. Breakfast was decent. The gym had broken equipment. The neighborhood did not have a great vibe.
- 5/5
The restroom could have a locker and a seat cover, other than that, so far so good!
- 5/5
Michael at the front dest was a pleasure to work with! The hotel was very clean and safe!
- 5/5
Check in very easy and they are very Friendly. 24 hours front desk. Older but Clean and comfortable and for the money it was perfect
- 4/5
Loved the location, convenient to Peace Center without the downtown pricing. Only issue I had was parts of the parking lot was flooding in spots due to several days of rain, so feet got wet.
- 4/5
Decent place. Smelled weird and shower was pretty old and dirty looking. Otherwise an okay place just for a quick stay for sleeping and leaving. Nice breakfast area. Friendly staff. Good location for the price.
- 3/5
The room was livable but definitely not a great setting next to the Taco Bell drive through and on the main road on the way to the hospital with lots of sirens. Will do in a pinch but property is definitely older and I need of a facelift
- 5/5
The hotel staff were all extremely friendly. The room smelled good and the beds were so comfortable. We ended up staying another night.
- 5/5
The hotel was conveniently located for food and entertainment. The staff was kind and professional. The clerk even gave us a room that accommodated my handicapped son.
- 1/5
They treated me awful
- 2/5
Bathroom roach, bathtub old worn down three layers, no toilet lid, corners and floor dirty, no coffee pot.
- 5/5
My son and I went to a concert at Bon Secour wellness arena! It’s a straight shot and 7 minute drive!! I was there two years ago with my daughter also for a concert!! It’s not a five star hotel but clean, great prices and staff!!
- 4/5
They need to fix the toilet seat and install a fan for the bathroom steam. The ceiling on the bathroom was peeling
- 3/5
Beds was comfortable, lots of highway traffic and noise. Bathroom was terrible, tub dirty with stains, toilet paper holder broken , mold around tub caulking . We did not use tub . Not in the safest part of town and limited parking which shares drive thru from Taco Bell's
- 2/5
Overall, the breakfast advertised was cold cereal, coffee, yogurt. Second day, the elevator was out of service; only one elevator in the building. Also the toilet stopped flushing and I had to open it to make adjustments every time. Humidity level was higher than usual, the AC didn’t work very well. This is an older hotel that needs serious maintenance and renovation. The price was good, but I don’t recommend staying there as you will be disappointed. For me I’ll be staying elsewhere on my next visit.
- 4/5
Very nice service, convenient location in downtown
- 3/5
The room was comfortable, and the staff were very friendly, but the bathroom needs renovations
- 1/5
Worse hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Although the staff were very nice, the cleanliness overall was absolutely horrible. Mold, dirty food wrappers, rotting fruit on the floor, water damage, and AC unit not working properly. I was placed in three different rooms, each being terrible.
- 5/5
Fantastic location. 10 minutes to anything and even closer to any kind of great food you want. You could get closer, but it would be 3 times the price.
- 5/5
Affordable, convenient location
- 5/5
Thumbs up
- 5/5
The staff was super friendly and helpful. One of the best experiences I've had at a motel in a long time. The location was very convenient to downtown for a reasonable price.
- 1/5
😂
- 5/5
The room was clean and big enough for 3 adults. Mr. Santana on the reception desk was always attentive to us. Friendly staff and 5 minutes drive to downtown Greenville.
- 3/5
Hallways are in need of carpet replacement and other maintenance. Room was clean. Bathroom needs maintenance and updates.
- 4/5
Desk personnel were very friendly. Rooms were very 1970ish with the only updates being usb chargers and a 32 to 40 inch flatscreen television. Having said that, the room met the expectations given the cost. We stayed to be close to the hospital where my wife was having surgery and given the bank-robbing hospital costs, it was nice to save a few dollars. We were only able to stay one of the two nights reserved because of my having to stay with her in the hospital and I’m certain they’ll be no refund for the second night, but as they say today, it is what it is.
- 3/5
Room and bathroom very dirty. Odd stain on curtain. Air conditioner ran at odd intervals. Wall in the hall patched with what looked like plastic like the koolaid man had come through. This hotel has gotten worse recently. It used to be cleaner and allowed dogs. Now it’s no dogs and much dirtier and dingier, and the tv/ac/etc in the rooms don’t work well.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
The property needs some updating. But I felt things were clean. The staff was as really nice though. They just need a raise.
- 4/5
Needs an upgrade
- 2/5
The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Its a good place if u just need to crash for the night when u cant make it home
- 1/5
This used to be a very seedy hotel. We would never have gone near the old one. Was glad to see Quality Inn had taken over and "redone" the property. We gave it a try to be near the hospital for a procedure the next morning. We were sorely disappointed. The lobby area had old carpet and front desk was not welcoming, paint was in terrible condition near elevators. The beds seemed clean, but the furniture was old and damaged. Things had been pieced together with plywood, etc. The tub was dirty and the toilet seat was broken. Paint job was awful.
- 4/5
Convenient location, friendly service. Accommodation is fairly basic but good value for the money
- 3/5
Pretty good stay. The air conditioning unit did not work.
- 3/5
This is a dated property. Yes, it has been somewhat renovated, but not well. Room had a significant unidentifiable smell. We had to buy some Febreze and Clorox Wipes. Hot water in shower was variable. Closet door had a punch hole in it. Refrigerator door was disgusting. Beds and linens were surprisingly clean and comfortable (we did remove comforters). Hotel is in a good location and was quiet at night. Staff was very nice. This would be a great place with a complete update by competent and qualified staff. Furniture is old, carpets are in bad shape and the previous renovation looks like it was performed by teenagers (caulking around tub was ridiculous, new tub coating was peeling off, etc.).
- 3/5
Staff was polite and check-in was quick and efficient. I have stayed here before and my room was nice and clean. The room thi time, while quite clean, was in need of updating and minor repairs.
- 4/5
Staff was nice Bed was comfortable.
- 1/5
Not safe cops around all night. No reception can found
- 3/5
Convenient lication to downtown, easy to access, property abit beat up, limited breafast. You get what u pay for.
- 5/5
close to the hospital. Nice room. Big bed!
- 5/5
Great spot for someone who isn’t looking for anything too lavish. This place is nice and affordable
- 1/5
The staff is the only good thing about this place. They were very welcoming and nice. The room smelled like something had died in there and it was nauseating. The mattress was stained. The comforter had stains. The floor was sticky. The bathroom was dusty and dirty. Many things need repaired or replaced.
- 1/5
The service from Devin was amazing, but unfortunately, the hotel and infrastructure were awful. Dirty towels, bathtub, and bathroom in general. The hotel is not current on maintenance. The complementary breakfast was a joke. Not worth it, and after seeing the cleanliness of the bathroom and room, I wouldn’t risk it. Definitely there is “Quality” only on the name.
- 4/5
Very clean rooms and polite staff.
- 5/5
Great price and excellent location! Hotel personnel were kind and professional.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 4/5
We liked the location and the price of the room. The service was great and very friendly. The room was comfortable but there were a couple surfaces that weren’t the cleanest. There was also a leak or maybe just water in the bathroom floor, but we didn’t mind. Nice stay!
- 5/5
Great place to stay, room very nice and quiet.
- 5/5
Building and rooms were clean, but showing age. Everything worked as it should have and there were no major issues.
- 1/5
There were so many things wrong. For starters the keys needed replaced every time we left the room. There was no remote for the TV, no functioning ice makers even though they were advertised. A Waffle machine and coffee maker does not constitute a continental breakfast. The apples were old and the bananas were green. Window blinds did not block the sun. Outer door to the back of the hotel did not close. Inner door to the bathroom did not close. Telephone in room did not work. Night clerk was more interested in football game than helping customers. There was a distinct smell of bleach and Lysol that permeated the entire first floor into the elevator which clunked and clanked upon every usage. We have stayed in many Quality Inns and this was absolutely horrible.
- 1/5
When I arrived, it was late and there were only a few parking places. I was told that I could park at the fast-food place next door. The fire department should be made aware that the door on the third floor by the elevator does not close. If there was a fire, the door is supposed to be closed and allow people to go down the stairs to escape. That door had been kicked and would not close at all, with about a foot open so that smoke and toxic fumes could overtake people in the stair well. Upon entrance into the room, the window was unlocked, and the screen was badly twisted and broken. It looked as if someone had tried to go in or out of the window (on the 3rd floor!). The paint in the public areas was peeling, the breakfast consisted of horrible coffee, a couple of yogurt containers, some fruit in a bowl and a waffle maker. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was missing, and the only other one was on the 1st floor, and not working. When I asked at the front desk, I was told to go next door to the fast-food place and ask them for ice. Overall, the place looked like it had been used as a frat house with damaged and marred furniture. The carpet in the hallways had massive areas of bleach stain where it appeared that the cleaning staff had spilled bleach in several areas. This place was horrible.
- 5/5
Close to downtown
- 1/5
Not good
- 2/5
The front desk ladies at this hotel were the BEST, kindest and most professional I've ever seen! They truly were helpful -- even offering to run to the Taco Bell next door to get ice for us as all ice machines were broken. The hotel is rundown. We had a dead bug in our toilet, shower was AWFUL (broken/didn't drain), many items broken or missing. A strange mildew smell lingered in the room and bed cover. Items in room were worn (fridge/chair). Breakfast was uninspired - OJ was 80% water. NO parking, huge puddle in parking lot for inexplainable reason. But the people....AMAZING! I hope they all find better jobs somewhere else together!
- 1/5
I CHECKED IN & CHECKED OUT. REQUESTED A REFUND. WHEN YOU OPENED THE DOOR TO THE ROOM IT HAD A AWFUL SMELL. THE FRIGIDAIRE LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE GOT IT OFF A TRASH PILE.THE TOP COVER HAD STAINS ON IT. THE FRONT DESK LADYWAS REALLY NICE.
- 1/5
The manager was unprofessional and rude
- 1/5
Got into my room. It smelled terrible a sharp, like mildew or mold. The refridgerator had mold on the outside and there was mold in the window. Unable to see out of the windows as they where painting the outside and had plastic on them. The furniture was scratched and broken down as well. The bathroom had dirt in the corners of the floor. I was in the room for an hour and left. She was very nice and accomodating at the desk.
- 4/5
Hotel staff were all very friendly especially front desk people and executive housekeeper.
- 1/5
Had to drive around and find something to do for 35 minutes. The staff was not friendly at all. I booked the room through expedia. The front desk clerk was not knowledgeable about the system and told me to begin with that we didn't have a reservation. I had to show them on my phone through the app. Also, their was no diet drinks in the drink machines on the first floor or the 3rd floor. So we drank what was supposed to be Dasani water but after purchasing the drinks, when it came out of the machine, it was not Dasani water but an off brand water that we had never had before and it was not good. We could not enter the hotel from the closest entrance or doorway because they locked all the doors and told us we could only enter through the front entrance which made my wife feel very uncomfortable. Terrible place to stay! Never again!

The place is, I’m sorry to say a dump. We got locked out if our room because the batteries needed replaced. The shining light in this whole trip was the staff. The front desk staff in the evening and in the a.m. were very helpful and went out if their way to make things right. The maintenance guy was there the next day and fixed the lock. Breakfast was your choice of waffles, yogurt or apples. I guess you shouldn’t expect a lot for 85.00 a night

Great check-in experience! The woman who checked us in on 7/21/23 was wonderful, friendly, professional and went out of her way to make sure we had all we needed for a great stay!

The walls were dirty. The first room smelled of mill due. AC was broken. Second room better, but bathroom was dirty and tub was dirty. Beds were ok. TV remote was broken. The room and hallway was dirty and smelly. The elevator was old and paint falling off the walls.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel smelled. It was clean but stuff in room was old bathtub needed to be replaced. Also the breakfast in the morning was very sad compared to other places that offer free breakfast with your stay.

Floor not swept, shower was moldy and finish coming off, smokey smell in the entire hotel even though its a non smoking hotel, parking is limited, breakfast was very limited, no eggs or anything hot.

The lady at the front desk was super nice. The hotel its self was kinda run down. The room smelled weird. The beds were like rocks. Kinda glad we only stayed there over night. But they were remodeling so I hope it gets better.

The good: beds are comfortable The not good: The 1st king room smelled so bad we had to change. There were no other king rooms. Bathroom was gross- mold, peeling paint filthy floor and corners. Very noisy from the road. Breakfast was very limited. $50 deposit was told would take 2 weeks for a refund. The management seems to cheap out in every area.

Only Complaint: staff did not check ID when I checked in OR when my boyfriend (whose name was not on reservation) asked for a new key. They just gave him one to my room no questions asked. Huge security issue. Please train your staff!

It was not clean, I would not stay there again.

It is a good location, free parking and plenty of parking only 1 mile from Greenville downtown. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly. I was able to check in early so that was a plus. The hotel is dated and needs some TLC, but I would stay again. The breakfast was a bust and was a disappointment but for the price not complaining.

Rooms are exceptionally clean.

This place is dated overall but the bed was very comfortable. "You get what you pay for" applies here, as this place is far less expensive than more downtown hotels. The walk to central downtown is about 30 minutes (1+ mile) -- all sidewalk, so it is doable for budget-minded travelers.

The room was so dirty that we immediately knew we made a terrible mistake reserving a room at this hotel and our first thought was how do we get out of here. There was human dried fluid on the bed headboard (picture attached), the holes where the pipes come from the walls where large enough for a cat to come through, there were no drain plugs in the bathtub and sink, and the fridge looked like a scene from the show “Dateline” with all the splatter. We left the following day after many more issues with the staff that I will not get into except to say that the hotel “Security” was a menacing man with questionable credentials. Suffice it to say that you are better off sleeping under a bridge.

For a one night convenient it was good. Hotel has declined tremendously. Staff not friendly, marijuana smell in Lobby - from staff - just not a good experience. But for the purpose I needed it, it was ok.
