This reminded me of a more affordable, no frills Double Tree, especially with the complimentary cookies :) Overall it was a great place to crash for a night. Very friendly staff, free coffee 24/7, free water bottles in room, comfy and clean bed. I would stay here again. Nothing super glamorous or special but a decent place to see Greenville from.

Location was great for Bon Secours Arena Outdated, didn’t feel that clean.

Nice clean place to stay. The staff was very helpful even offering us a ride in the shuttle when our uber didn't show up.

The price was good. It was rated decently on the site. It was in the right city and said it was close to the airport. I booked this stay because booking.com said it included a shuttle to/from the airport. When my son landed in SC (yes, my son was traveling alone), he tried contacting them for the shuttle and they said it wasn't available! Booking.com never said we needed to give them 24 hour notice to be picked up. We had to pay another $65 for an uber at rush hour to get him 12 miles from the airport to the hotel.
- 5/5
Location to downtown was 15 min. Fresh cookies and hot coffee/ tea 24 hours in lobby. Hot shower. Best comfortable bed & variety of pillows thickness. The room carpets are very worn out, dirty spots. It needs a deep shampoo. The shuttle is parked in front and never used to pick up/ drop off airport

it was clean, breakfast was good. Pics on web make it seem way more fancier than it really is. But overall, it was a good stay. The manager greeted us upon arrival, we were early, but she immediately accommodated us. water pressure was low, no hangers on clothes rack

I really liked the staff. They were really friendly. From the person emptying the trash cans outside on the way in to the front deck attendant. The front desk attendant was nice enough to provide me with restaurants to eat at. I felt real comfortable.
- 2/5
Room was not clean, with stains on carpets and around the bathroom area. Fan of AC and fridge super loud at night.
- 5/5
Nothing
- 3/5
The room served its purpose for the night, but I probably wouldn’t return to this location until the renovations, amenities, and overall upkeep improve. The pillows were very flat and uncomfortable, and the continental breakfast definitely needs to be revamped. The food did not look fresh or appealing at all, so I chose not to eat breakfast there. Overall, it was a place to sleep for the night, and the staff made the experience better, but the hotel still has a lot of work to do before it feels like the Sleep Inn standard again.

My room was very nice. Very clean and well-kept. I made sure to compliment the housekeeping staff when I checked out. Would highly recommend.
- 3/5
I stayed in room 220. The bed that was near the window, the mattress needs replacement period, you can actually feel the springs. Who ever did the remodeling you can tell did a cheap job and it shows. Would I stay at another sleep Inn probably not. Who ever owns or operates this sleep inn does not take pride in it.
- 3/5
Room was clean. The breakfast they had- the eggs, bacon, sausage and white gravy was ice cold. Person at desk was notified. Food was to be sat a certain heat range. It was not. Food inspectors would shut them down. No one, employees, checked what was served at all. Both days we were there we tried to eat at 7am each morning. Shower in room needed to be replaced, due to the condition it was in . Do not recommend for people ti stay there
- 5/5
far price for the area.
- 3/5
Room was clean although furniture was beat up. Outside of building had damage to a/c vents and trim; some windows were cloudy indicating they'd lost their seal. Breakfast experience was poor. Juice machine had off-flavored juice. Waffle mix was separated or not mixed properly. No brewed coffee, only instant coffee machine which produced 'not-coffee'. Breakfast was a disappointment. Lobby was clean, fresh carpet in hallway and room. Renovations were underway on the property.

After checking out of the motel 6 in Greenville after one night cuz it was such a dumpster, I booked a room here. I was exhausted and in desperate need of a shower. The manager, Michelle, took pity on me and allowed me to check in a little early. The property was very clean and all the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Thank you again Michelle for your spectacular hospitality!
- 5/5
I was in the area for 24 hours. Perfect accommodations and right across the street from the convention center. Convenient and easy set up for me.
- 5/5
The staff were most helpful
- 5/5
Clean, convenient and usually affordable
- 5/5
Friendly front desk staff. Room was made up every day with clean towels provided as well.
- 5/5
Everything was great for me. No problems with the hotel or staff. My room was very clean and it was refreshed every day. My caretakers were rewarded every day as my room was excellent. I have been staying here off and on for years and it has always been good.
- 4/5
Room was indeed spotless! Front desk staff couteous.
- 5/5
The carpet was wet but it dryed out
- 2/5
The room was ok, the hallway had been flooded or something. The continental breakfast was pretty bad. And someone was blairing music in the parking lot, right outside the front door for an hour starting at 1:00am. Management should have had that person leave or be arrested.
- 4/5
It was good just needed to update and remodel rooms
- 3/5
First the staff is great! , The rooms definitely need upgrading. There’s a gap in the shower door from the wall where water just goes all over the bathroom floor lots of paint chipping things like that.. that being said, it’s a fair price for the hotel and we would stay there again
- 1/5
I did not stay at all, because I was booked for the wrong location. I put in Greenville, North Carolina and it booked me for South Carolina. When I got to the convention in North Carolina a clergy colleague had the same thing happen to him! I will never use Expedia again!
- 1/5
Terrible
- 1/5
very filthy and dirty doesn't looks what the picture represent the hotel is in pretty bad shape, need a lot fixing and love defiantly I wont stay there. the staff was great unfortunately the hotel is have very low standards
- 2/5
Had Roaches in the room we were in room 111 they were coming in and out of tv lifted cover and seen egg sacs we were relocated but cleanliness wise detail wise wasn’t great good front desk staff tho
- 3/5
Staff was great. We found a roach( bug) in the room the first night. I quickly got spray etc and left the room and came back 2 hours plus. We reported it but action needed to be taken as I did not want to take any hitchhikers home!
- 3/5
The staff were absolutely amazing! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to assist us with our needs (e.g. bottled water). They gave us a welcome va that included snacks and microwave popcorn. The room smelled like butter popcorn. The room was clean. It was the perfect room to stay for a couple of nights for visiting
- 2/5
I didn’t wind up staying at the hotel. The pictures and ratings are deceiving. The hotel is dirty and old.
- 3/5
Convenient to convention center, staff very good, rooms outdated
- 4/5
Everything was ok , had a deposit to pay inwhich all that should have been up front but other than that , cool
- 3/5
The $100 deposit I had to pay is the first time I’ve had to pay this deposit in the 2 years I’ve been coming to your hotel when I come in town. I didn’t like that at all
- 4/5
The room and the hotel is showing it's age. The room and hotel were clean.
- 5/5
Location was very convenient for me. Hotel was quiet. I would stay here again!
- 5/5
No complaints. Staff was exceptional, room was clean and the bed slept great!
- 4/5
Nice room
- 1/5
Expedia should remove this hotel from its list! This place is so shady, and criminal! The entire hotel, and especially the room reeked of mold and smoke and wet dog. The walls were paper thin and you could hear people talking like they were in the room with you. When my partner and daughter arrived there was a woman complaining that she already gave her deposit but the desk person said he did not receive it and the person she gave it too probably didn’t work there. She was effectively robbed by the hotel. The oldest trick in the book. Charge the card and keep the cash and deny the cash was ever given. My partner and daughter were terrified to spend the night there so after just a couple of hours they got up in the middle of the night and drive home. A horrible hotel and a terrifying experience. We should be refunded and this hotel should be marked as an “absolutely DO NOT stay” hotel.
- 2/5
The front staff was very friendly, but the walls were thin and, unfortunately, the person next door was watching something that I wish I could unhear. We had to turn on a sound machine noise with my phone. The pillows were a little small and firm, but it was clean.
- 1/5
The staff was okay. They didn’t want to give me a refund after being there for approximately an hour. The snitch was awful. It smelled of mildew and mold.
- 1/5
I didn’t get to come. Concert was cancelled the evening before.. And I was sick.
- 4/5
Room was very clean and quiet. Bathroom could use some touchups. I did not eat until 8;30 so food was ok by then. Good location.
- 5/5
Yes it was great
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent

Room was spotless, check in was super fast and easy, staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again. 😊

- 3/5
Smelled like smoke in the lobby, we saw a roach outside our door on the way to breakfast and the parking lot was really dirty with litter. The bed was hard as a rock. Convenient to downtown Gvl though.
- 5/5
Great location, clean rooms.
- 3/5
The hotel staff was very kind and welcoming but also seemed very flustered due to some technical issues. The walls are very thin... You can hear everything happening outside in the hallway, in the room next to you, the floor below you... We had one roach and a spider that visited us... But other than that the place was clean. The bed was very comfortable. For the needs we had it was a good spot but we probably would not stay there again. There is a Krispy Kreme right across the street and a few different bars along that area. The free breakfast was nice. The parking lot did have some seedy characters walking around but they kept to themselves.
- 3/5
Parking easy and motel is a little run down but clean. Staff very friendly. My only major complaint is that the bed was terrible. Very unsupportive mattresses that either sunk in the middle or to one side.
- 1/5
My room had a roach crawling around in the bathroom. The guy offered a room change but it was right next door to the room with the roach. The manager was very rude when I went to talk about it. I only stayed because I didn’t know where else to go and I was graduating so I didn’t have time to find another hotel. However Sleep Inn will never be a pick for me.
- 5/5
Great stay at the Sleep Inn Greenville Convention Center! Staff were professional and polite, the manager was friendly and checked in on our visit, and parking was easy. Helpful team all around—highly recommend!
- 4/5
Very nice and friendly staff. Also, great breakfast!
- 4/5
Pretty good spot for a show at BSWA. Pictures looked a lil nicer. Our room felt cool (71°) and yet somehow humid at the same time, which was a lil strange. Staff was great, good location, but a bit pricey for what it was.

Hotel needs some upkeep. Had leak under the sink, room was damp and musty.

The front desk staff at both check in and during the night were both very nice. We encountered a bed bug and was able to move to another room. The lady that worked that night was very apologetic. However, upon checking out I inquired about what if anything could be done as far as compensation due to the inconvenience of having to move due to the bed bug incident. A lady came from the back who I assumed was the manager on duty. She never introduced herself. She asked what the problem was, which I told her. I would've thought it would have been known or the information would've been passed on. She very nonchalantly said that when the room is cleaned and "if" they find the bed bug then usually what they do is offer points through Choice. I told her I was not member of Choice. I had pictures of the bug as proof btw. It was pretty much like "oh well". She never apologized for the inconvenience. Overall, the facility itself was clean. The begbugs and lack of empathy from the morning manage at checkout would be the reason I would not book there again.
- 4/5
The sink in the bathroom i ask to get fixed 3 different times and they didn't fix. Saw a big water bug the last night there . Other than that. No complaints
- 4/5
Very convenient.
- 1/5
The room was muggy and smelt like mildew, and found 2 live roaches in the room.
- 5/5
👍
- 5/5
Very nice
- 3/5
The room was a perfect size for a one person one or two night stay. Plenty of amenities like iron, ironing board, refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer. I liked that the shower was a wank-in, not a tub. The furniture as all pressed wood and has seen better days. See picture attached. Carpet needed to be replaced. Lots of stains and bad spots. See picture attached. The caulking around the shower was very sloppily done and left a less than good appearance. See photo attached. I would not recommend Sleep Inn for a family or an extended stay. But for one person for one or two nights, it was clean and close to the convention center. I would say the best part of it was the convenience.
- 5/5
The staff was excellent and the room clean
- 4/5
It’s fine. Nothing special. Bed wasn’t particularly comfortable.
- 5/5
Quiet and peaceful
- 4/5
Super comfortable bed and pillows! It was very clean but did have a weird smell like someone smoked even though you’re not supposed to. Great location for our needs: out of the way, not smack in town but still close to downtown, easy to get in/out of, free parking
- 3/5
Rooms are very small. Not at all like on the pictures..
- 5/5
Great price
- 2/5
The evening staff was rude and acted like it was a bother to help me get in my room after the keys didn't work. The room itself was fine, but I would not stay here again.
- 3/5
Not what I expected when I booked the hotel. Nothing very good or very bad although there seemed to be younger adults living there. My impression at least. Very noisy at night
- 4/5
I had a nice experience. The staff was very accommodating. No major issues. Clean room.
- 4/5
Very easy to locate
- 2/5
The hallways and two different rooms were smelly. Outside of the property needs to be kept clean. The onsite manager was not friendly. The carpets were completely stained (red) and dirty. The positives; front desk lady was friendly, everything works as it should, a short drive to Downtown Greenville, and the location is 15 minutes from the airport.
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 4/5
People at the front desk are friendly. Breakfast was decent. Plenty of parking. The mattress was really nice but the room is old looking. A good stay for the money.
- 1/5
Bathroom lighting fixture was leaking room 206. Moved to room 222 where as soon as we walked in found a roach. Finally room 304 that smelled like heavy rug deodorizer then there was a hole around the air conditioning unit I was afraid of something crawling in during our sleep. We wanted a queen size bed but had to sleep in a double bed! Bathroom glass door would not stay closed! It was the worst stay ever!
- 3/5
Just for a night stay was ok but not for luxury or vacation, but was clean . Breakfast was limited . Room temperature was hard to get comfortable so my sleep was off .
- 5/5
It was great. Nothing special but nice and no complaints.
- 4/5
Yes
- 4/5
The hotel was great for what we needed, but the occupants across the hall were yelling and arguing from about 2:00 pm until about 3:00 am and started back up at 8:00 am. Could hear someone walking around in the room above us. Just wish staff would have dealt with the occupants across the hall earlier, or acknowledged our comments about it at check out. Front desk was called. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.
- 2/5
There was a bass sound coming from somewhere in or out of the hotel. It went late into the wee hours. Breakfast was only cold food. The desk attendant told us it was because the hotel was low in occupancy. I would not have booked if that info was available when I reserved. The lady running the breakfast area was not very polite. She was putting up the chairs while we were eating and actually hit my chair with another one she was flipping. Our keys did not work and we had to change rooms. It was just not a pleasant stay.
- 1/5
We had to change rooms in the middle of the night because of the roaches that overtook our room.
- 1/5
Our room was supposed to be a single suite with a couch we arrived it was a full bedroom. That was after the roaches scattered turning on the lights. The pictures but cannot attach them to this review? Stepped on one on the carpet killed a few more in the bathroom. The molding along that wall was coming off all the walls were scraped up with dirt and scratch marks. When you first opened the door to the bedroom you were smacked in the face with the smell of smoke! The sprinklers were rusted the carpet was torn up bunched together coming off of the back wall. I was traveling with my teenage daughters it was absolutely just awful. The older lady at the desk was sympathetic and understood. We did not stay in the place for more than 15 minutes I handed them the key and asked him to cancel my reservation and contacted Expedia immediately. Expedia was fantastic! They worked on my refund and expedited it quickly. Do not stay at this hotel it is awful you will probably catch something? We looked at it for its location to the convention center. we travel a lot for work. This probably the second grossest building we've ever been in. Just save yourself, stay away spend the extra $20 down the street. Will give a great shout out to the Hilton that helped us at 4:30 in the morning.
- 3/5
Good room for the price. But the air filter needed to be changed the room had a funk to it.
- 4/5
The location of this hotel was perfect for us as it is close to the Greenville convention center. Very reasonable price. The staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable. The pocket bathroom door sticks and can't be operated smoothly. The carpet felt sticky. Otherwise clean. The breakfast was acceptable, had some hot and cold items.
- 4/5
It was easy to get a controller to watch streaming services. Enjoyed easy access to tea, cream, and sugar packets.
- 3/5

- 5/5
Clean and convenient. Friendly staff.
- 3/5
There was a large roach that crawled out of in the shower. The wall were thin and we had a crying baby next door.
- 5/5
All staff members were very kind and very helpful!
- 2/5
Our first night there somebody pulled the fire alarm then the people next to us had their kid slamming the door and then when you go to staff, they’re never around at the front counter
- 3/5
Overall the room wasn’t terrible, my biggest gripe was the shower, it had multiple patches where the outer layer was completely gone and the fiberglass was fully exposed, even the little shelf that held the soap had exposed fiberglass, which could cause someone to end up with it in very private areas
- 3/5
When we arrived i reported to the front desk that the phone had a blinking red light. He said some of the phones malfunction that way. When i asked if we were to sleep with a blinking red light i was told to unplug the phone. I did NOT get the impression that this facility is concerned with being prepared for guests.
- 1/5
Fire alarm got activated in the middle of the night Squeaky floors above my room could not sleep at all I woul like a refund Very bad experience
- 5/5
.
- 1/5
Heater and toilet both were not working. No other room, partial refund, or apologies offered, just a plunger. Left well before check out time. It's not worth the price. Definitely stay some place else.
- 5/5
The room was clean and nice but the bathroom shower door was broken and was tricky not to get the floor soaked. At night even though at capacity, there was little to no noise and the bed was comfortable allowing for a good nights sleep.
- 1/5
In the middle of the night I felt something crawling on my face. I knocked it off and quickly jumped up to grab a tissue to pick it up. I when I turned the light on to my surprise it was a bed bug. I checked the bed for other critters, and I found none. The next morning I was alarmed when I found a roach crawling on the wall beside the bed. I took photos of both! Had I found them earlier in the day, and not in the middle of the night while my family slept, I would have reported and demanded a room change or refund.
- 5/5

This hotel refused to refund me my money after I was unable to check in due to flights being grounded in my area. Despite NEVER checking in, they refused to give me back any money for my planned 4 day stay that had to be canceled due to flights being grounded.. Such poor customer service! They didnt even keep one day and give me back the rest!! Save yourself and go somewhere else... Very unprofessional!

The Sleep Inn was convenient for what we needed to do in Greenville
- 5/5
It was convenient to everything like restaurants etc. what I didn’t like the bathroom, the shower floor was not stable, when you stepped in the floor sunk in, no slip guard on shower floor and it the shower was peeling.

My wife and I attended the Springfest 2024 at Bon Secours Wellness Center. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and checked in room then we left and went to concert. Then we returned to the hotel and then got up for breakfast next morning. We returned back to the room for a while and prepared to leave and checkout. My wife had some coffee and had drank about half of the coffee and decided to pour remaining in sink. My wife screamed and told me to come look in the sink we saw two small bugs that was poured from her coffee cup. My wife literally threw up in disgust thinking about she had consumed coffee with bugs. I asked do you want to make them aware she said “NO” let’s get out of here. I’m very disappointed and I want management to be aware of this situation.
- 2/5
When I got to my room I found a dead cockroach on the floor. The Hotel said that they have this problem. The morning I left, there was a cockroach walking across the room. I told the front desk and they said that Fridays are the day they spray for bugs.
- 5/5
Great breakfast & excellent customer service
- 5/5
Very clean facility great customer service & great breakfast service
- 4/5
Our stay was good and room felt comfortable. The only suggestion I have is to add a door nob or handle to open and close the door on bathroom door as it was too tight to move the door.
- 5/5
This is a great hotel! Everything was clean and it was priced well. The girl at the front desk was great. If you happen to be going to the radio room then you can walk there from this place. I will definitely stay again if and when I come back through this area. Thanks!
- 4/5
Showers need a clean..... they look stained. Smells like cigarette in the halways
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet. Will definitely stay here again soon
- 5/5
Other than the thin walls, this is a great place to stay. The room next door blasted the TV ALL NIGHT. This is not the properties fault, just be aware the walls are thin. Super clean and smelled clean too! Super friendly staff! Hot shower! Breakfast area was well kept and stocked up with hot, fresh breakfast items as well as cold cereals waffles and oats. I would stay here again!
- 5/5
Staff was very nice and helpful. Room smelled great and of course clean. This hotel just need an updated reno and it would be perfect.
- 5/5
It was clean, comfortable and the front desk was extremely friendly. Great place to rest and spend time with your love one.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and check in and check out. Room was very clean. Breakfast was just fine.
- 2/5
Took 15 mins to find the reservation. Checked us in under the wrong name and was o it a single bed even though we booked a double. Employee at the front desk immediately jumped on it to get us the correct room so thank you for that. Once we got to our room it smelled so awful. I know there is signage about no smoking in the rooms but the cigarette smell was overpowering. I don’t think I would stay at this establishment again. Staff was fantastic breakfast was great but the room was very bad.
- 5/5
Our stay was fantastic. The people that work there were very polite. The room was nice and comfortable. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about this place.
- 5/5
Manager was very helpful and professional.
- 1/5
The bed was supposed to be a queen and was clearly a full size mattress. The mattress also was not comfortable at all. Room was tiny.
- 5/5
The room was very clean. The location was only minutes away from where I needed to work. The area of town is a little neglected

The man working the front desk began screaming at everyone waiting to check in. No one had said a word about the wait. He started yelling that they been booked for the last few days and that they weren’t finished with rooms. We arrived at 1700 and check in was at 1400. There was a couple screaming and fighting in the room beside us and one family did ask for a refund to find another hotel because of the same issue because their daughter had her SAT’s the next morning. They were treated very poorly by the desk clerk even though they were polite. Nothing was done to remedy the situation of why they were leaving. No matter the reasoning, it was uncalled for fhe clerk to test the customer’s the way he did. We were all waiting patiently.
- 5/5
Room was great. Beds are comfortable. Service was very good. Only complaint is some maintenence as far as painting upkeep in rooms, hallways and elevator area. However, that did not affect our stay.

It was continental breakfast, but it was decent. The hotel was clean, especially the room. The shower water was hot!

It’s in walking distance to the convention center. Krispy Kreme is across the street.

I couldn’t check in because list power. Had to find another hotel
