I cant understand how this facility has a 10 rating. In apparently a very dangerous neighbourhood mecessitating checking in and out behind windowed counters not letting the client to enter the office.Everything in the room worn out, not renovated for decades!

The location despite being in a very degraded neighbourhood is conveniently located close to the airport. I cant understand how this facility has a 10 rating. The bathroom door and walls were very dirty, made me think twice about showering. The bed spread had cigarette burns on it. The area was nice, but people were smoking weed rught out their door in front of management. Housekeeping cleaned my room when was asked not to. Overall a dirty place, i wouldn't have stayed but it was last minute and close to where i needed to be.

Too many fights second night

I would not prefer to come here again the room was fair but the bed was very uncomfortable and sank in outdated. It was a car parked behind my car half the night which made me very uncomfortable. They did not have enough towels loud music was playing outside. I will never go here again I checked out early it was so uncomfortable.

It's a basic hotel with minimal amenities. Glad to see a microwave oven and free parking. Everything worked. Check-in and checkout was uneventful.

some places like to hide it in the online contract , so you think you paid in advance, but not quite. El Rancho checks you in easy with a smile!

This place is really good and clean me and my mom were struggling to find a place to stay at but we found this place and it was very nice and tidy.

The outside made it appear to be nice.. the room was old and outdated. Carpet was stained, broken dresser, dingy towels, blanket was worn old and looked like if you slept on it you might catch something. They had a hollow phone 🤔... the purpose of that. Go figure. I would never book again

A good night's sleep, free parking, good WiFi, refrigerator, microwave and TV. There was an abundance of convenient electrical outlets, but no USB charging ports or alarm clock. Towels were old and worn, but typical of a budget motel. Convenient to LAX, 405 and Harbor freeways. This is obviously not a luxury hotel, nor does it pretend to be, but it is safe, convenient and operated by a competent staff. Excellent breakfast options within 1 mile (look up Chips Diner and Tata's cafe). You'll be glad that El Rancho Inn does not offer a typical hotel breakfast.

I like that this isn't an all frills place but it's spacious.. the people are nice and it's away from the hustle and bustle of the airport. Perfect 1 night stay. Good price for LA

Poorly maintained. Seedy location. Basics only. No coffee maker. No hair dryer. No ironing board. Bedspead but no blanket. Carpet and chairs were dirty. Price high.

Easy and painless check-ins. Clean rooms. Not much noise saturation for the next room over. Would book again.

It was ok but i booked the jacuzzi room and paid extra for one where the jets worked not for an extra tub with no working jets. Very disappointing.

The sheets smelled funny . Called front desk and nobody would answer and went downstairs and nobody was there . The toilet paper was used , trash cans were full .

Was noisy because of construction which started at 8am. Noisy with traffic. They charge for ice, no breakfast included, just so you know. One side of the bed was partially collapsed, mattress just needs replacing. Located in more industrial area.

Our stay at El Rancho Inn was very comfortable. Check in was fast and friendly. Our room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It had all the amenities you need, iron, dryer, refrigerator that kept our food cold and a microwave. The shower was nice and hot. There are a lot a places to eat nearby. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Difficult to recommend. You get what you pay for. Was very clean.

The hotel was fine for a quick one night stay but I’d hate to stay more than one night. Bed was rock hard, shower was loud as heck and the shower curtain appeared moldy. Staff was okay, a bit rude and very hard to understand.

The room was vacuum and cleaned. I went to take a shower and half the plastic shower curtain was molded. The mold is on the inside of the shower. These curtains are cheap, about $10 less, so I don't understand why they just don't replace it.

On the 2nd night here we were on our way back to the hotel and were 3 blocks away when we heard four gunshots in close range. Not my idea of a decent neighborhood

Only negatives I can think of is the windows don't have a sheer curtain under, so when you open the main curtains for light someone outside can easily see into your room. Also parking is very limited so be wary about parking early near the end of the day.

A bit on the tough side to find The address does not get along well with google maps

Very noisy, as it's close to the main street. The air-conditioner is also VERY noisy!

overall the room was clean, as in clean sheets and bathroom, but there was a bit of a funky smell of body Oder in one area of the room. The neighborhood was not what I expected..on the rough side, unattractive.
