I don't think they change the sheets for every customer. It looks so wrinkly. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. We ask for a quiet room since my husband is a light sleeper. They let us try out the different rooms. We had a quiet room afterwards. Room 206 had a problem with the shower. It doesn't get the hot water. They changed the room for us. The breakfast is OK. Air conditioning works great. It was quiet.

My key didn’t work i go to office older guy gives me new key and he says oh your dog is very quiet.next night one that checked me in says oh you have dog you must go you want me to leave she said you can leave in the morning so I leave and I say you owe me back refund for one night.people working said I need to talk to the boss on mom or Tuesday about refund.she sees me at heritage all the time. E er once said anything about my dog.was not in good mood cuz of dog situation.im homeless so i got stuck sleeping in my car cuz I couldn’t use my card to get another room the day i left early.between best western and heritage they’ve charged me for three nights I didn’t get to stay booted me early that’s about almost 300 dollars.

Bed bugs!! I git bit all over my back! Also I left my phone charger in the room. I called front desk and she claimed it wasn't in there. I only was gone for an hrs, so they lie and steal!! Never again!

For $240 I expected none of this to have happened, I would have expected this from a hotel for $100, I have stayed at many other Best Westerns and never this bad

This is a great budget friendly option. Some of the reviews talk about the amenities. Considering how affordable the room is it’s surprising they have so many amenities. Including a gym. The breakfast is good. It ending at 9:30am instead of 10am during the week can be a little bit tough. I stay here every time I come and visit my mom and feel safe. Yes, the Jacuzzi hot tub looks dirty. Might just need a paint job. Hard to tell. Saw someone in the pool. Seemed like they were enjoying it. Room is always very clean which for me is the most important part of staying at a hotel. The furnishings are somewhat modern comfortable, and the staff is accommodating. Yes, you can hear everything in the halls if you’re sensitive to noise. Yes the street-side can be loud especially on the weekend but they do give you earplugs. If you are a VERY light sleeper, this probably won’t work for you. I was fine. Yes if you come late parking is limited, but there are always spaces cameras and lights. Mostly work trucks in the parking lot meaning people are there to sleep -

I accidentally booked for the wrong month asked to have my booking switched they refused, the reception at front desk was very rude. After reading the reviews especially I just wanted to cancel. I Will never book through Expedia let alone never ever say at this motel

Room was clean. Check-in was ok. There was a deposit of $100 and I couldn't pay cash so I can get it back when I check-out. It didn't show on the receipt and she said it takes 7-10 days to return?? Notice, room is to be clean every 3 days ( I was only there for 2 days). Parking is free.

Clean room and staff

I opted for a room with jetted bathtub, knowing i wouldn't use it if it wasn't super clean. But it was indeed super clean, actually the entire room smelled very fresh and clean as soon as we walked in. I even did a test run of the tub, to see how the water looked after turning the jets on, & the water was clean and clear. So i was super pleased with this amenity and i feel it was well worth the higher room price. Overall we had no complaints about anything.

Its wasn't horrible its kinda old , the cleaning ladies are very sweet made sure we had as many towels as we needed, the night staff is way nicer than the morning staff, morning staff seems a lil irritated but will still force a smile. The rooms were ok only thing is the carpets are filthy like nasty dirty we were blessed to have brought slippers but my toddlers socks need to just be trashed. Also we had a room facing the main street and the windows are very thin. Heard everything all night because it’s located right next to the freeway. Breakfast could have been way better they had no options eggs were watery, bread looked super dry, they ran out of milk and when we went in they were out of every thing and there was still and hour and a half left of breakfast time the best was the pre packaged muffins and the waffle maker, probably would have been better to go across the street to McDonalds. parking is very slim because construction workers take there trucks and take up 5 spots so if you don't check in early parking is all took up. other than that it wasn't too bad. We only stayed 3 nights checked out and went to La Quinta just a lil more cleaner for my liking.

I still have an issue with their deposit for incidentals, I am still yet to receive mine back and it's been 2 weeks. There is a sign that says up to 7-10 businss days, which is basially 2 weeks. Still have not received it. I called my bank and they can't release it until Visa releases it, and they're waiting for the hotel to release it, but every time ic all the hotel they said they released it and they set an expiration of 30 days to automatically drop off.. Becasue of this i will neer stay at this hotel gain. Be warned all your deposit returns wont be back for at least 2 weeks .

I accidentally booked two rooms for two days, and my stay was for only one night. The manager worked with Hotels.com and refunded the extra two nights for both rooms. She is fantastic, and I am so grateful for her. She did not have to do this, as I was already outside of my cancellation window. I have stayed with them before on my business trips, and intend to stay there all the time.

I have given high marks to all features not because everything was perfect but because the people were. Good people trump everything else. Everyone at the front desk, breakfast room, etc were so sweet and helpful. They flagged me down if I had a package waiting, and were just so friendly and thoughtful. In my room, the coffee maker didn't work, and if I were anywhere else I'd have asked for a replacement. But I ended up not wanting to make coffee in my room because it was so pleasant to go to the breakfast room instead. The plugs in the light fixture on the desk would not work for my laptops or phone. Ditto the light fixture on the left hand nightstand. Anyplace else, I would have said something, but I didn't have the heart to here so I just found an outlet that worked and used that. I'll let them know when I eventually check out so they can look into it. I think this might be the first best western I've stayed at in maybe 20 years. I prepaid online through a third party. When I went to the front desk to extend my stay, they immediately offered to keep me in the same room (most fancy chains, honestly, don't in my experience) and even gave me discounts that I never asked for. I did not expect to be so impressed. I'm usually grumpy about shortcomings at lodging (I travel on business a fair amount - this trip was personal) but here, the people were so nice, it really made all the difference. Welldone

When I arrived I asked for senior, AAARP discount. She (the desk agent) actually sneered at me by saying no to anything because you used Expedia. It was like I was a lesser person. Found it very offensive. Won’t ever stay at another Best Western ever again.

I paid for a room that was too pricy for not having a jacuzzi I specifically called before checking in if they had a jacuzzi the lady said yes but they didn’t it was a jetted tub which is not the same thing. Won’t stay there again

Normally I'am not a picky person, but this is not what I expected. Dirty carpet in the hallways, the jacuzzi was terrible, broken shower handle. When I requested an extra blanket, the person at the front desk told me that he only had three and that he had already given to someone else and he couldn't do anything for me. That was my worst experience..

Card. They charged me three times without getting my permission but because they had my credit card on their system without having to asked me and all in one day I got charged on my card 3 times. I stay far away but imagine the people that are so far away and having this same problem over and over . It was a mess!!!!!

Check in was nice staff was friendly the hot tub was filthy hair balls and green cloudy color which is sad because that’s what we came for. The actual room was ok there was a plug in with a nice smell with it. The beds and pillows were so hard it wasn’t until I realized I left my daughter blanket I called the office they didn’t have any extra bedding we checked out about 2am because we were so uncomfortable also everything is so behind times there you only can use dollar bills for the vending machines could not connect my kids ps5 to the internet the tv did was not all friendly we couldn’t even cast to the tv a huge disappointment

Smoke detector had to be removed due to maintenance not available to provide new battery. Very loud cherping sound from smoke detector. Security had to remove smoke detector due to front office staff not able to accommodate new queen room. Offer was for one king bed for four people. Front office staff called manager and this was all they could offer. Outside our window multuple police officers were dealing with an altercation which took 45 min-1 hr. Overall very disappointed in Best Western customer service. At checkout after informing front support smoke detector was removed the day before no concern was shown or apologizes for the incontinence. Coffee maker was not working and front support did not have decaf coffee. We would of canccelled reservation but it was late, dark and not familiar with area since we were traveling from a different town for a sports event.

Bed was very comfortable, but seems like an older hotel. Carpets seemed worn and dark in color. Bathroom was very small. Water in bathroom came out discolored at first. WiFi was very spotty. Staff were informative and helpful.

I stay here every time I come to Hayward for work. It’s convenient to the stores I have to visit. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and amazing. I love the breakfast that is served as well!

Thank you Best Western! My stay was lovely. The only issues with the stay pertained to things that the hotel cannot be in control of. Location and patrons staying there. We had to maneuver on getting out onto the main road durung the day. Having the room overlooking the pool was a bit noisy with excited splashers but i suppose the hotel inticipated that since they provided earplugs, greatly appreciated. Our room was a Kingsize Larger and it did not disappoint. Bed was cozy and pillows large fluffy. Contained all emenities such as microwave fridge iron hair dryer. Parking well lit. Breakfast was fine no great flair but provided a decent fare.

Noisy a/c and unusual noise coming from the bathroom exhaust fan although it was off. After enduring 2 noisy nights of a 5-night stay, had to request for transfer to another room. Though the a/c was quieter and no bathroom exhaust fan noise, noise this time was from outside. I guess this explained why pouches of ear plugs were in the room for the guests to use.

The only negative I had was that there was no room safe, so I felt obligated to carry my passport and otherr valuables everywhere I went - not a good option.

First room they gave us smelled of stale smoke even though it was a non smoking room and something rattled every time you walked across the room. The second room had a glade air freshener going that was a bit overpowering. Unplugged it and left the door open for a while until the scent dissipated. Breakfast was good. Heated scrambled eggs are always watery no matter where we go. Room was a good size. they could have used some of the bedroom to make the toilet area bigger as it was situated tight next to the wall. couldn't even open the bathroom door all the way.
